Dear all,
today I have upgraded rommon in Cisco Soho 91 image to version 820_RM_ALT.srec.122-11r.YV4. Since then I have following messages when booting/restarting router:

Transfer of VLANs through Cisco SOHO router 78 G.SHDSL

I have one switch with more VLANs. I need to transfer these Vlans to secondary site through routers Cisco SOHO router 78 G.SHDSL. This situatioin is in attachment.
I'm not sure if this is possible, because this router has only common ethernet ports.
Probably I would need trunk ports on this router.
Could you please help me to specify, which device could replace Cisco SOHO router 78?

My guess is that either ifIndex.2 or .3 corresponds to your SHDSL interface. You should walk ifDescr to confirm.

Help: Port forward in Cisco SOHO 97

I have a Cisco SOHO 97.
The IP is: 10.0.0.1/24
Gw: 0.0.0.0
*Default route via DIALER1
I also have a RV042 configured as VPN Server (PPTP and IPSec).
The IP is: 10.0.0.2/24
I need help to configure the router to I be able to connect to VPN server from OUTSIDE-WORLD.
I imagine I need Port forwarding from Cisco SOHO to RV042.

Sorry i found the issue.
The problem was that, i wanted to redirect port 443 (https) to an private address.
But by default port 443 is reserved to access ASA via https for management.
I just reserved another port 888 for https management access and now i can redirect port 443 normaly as i wanted.
Using this command: http server enable 888

I can't retrieve usm and vacm tables from router cisco 2800. Help please!!

Hi, I'm doing some tests in a router cisco 2800 using snmp in versions 2c and 3. I configured views and communities for version 2c and user, groups and views for version3; I suppose that the vacm and usm parameters involved in the groups, views are stored internally in usm, vacm tables. I wanted to check if the parameters I configured were inside the tables, but when I tried to retrieve all those values through get table or get next commands, I obtained the answer "end of mib view" in the application I'm using (SNMP J MANAGER) and also in wireshark where the requests are sent but the responses contain the OIDs belonging to the tables but with the value end of mib view.
I know for experience doing the tests, that "end of mib view" is obtained in a response when you try to request a OID that is outside of the view being used by a community. But the last thing I did was create a community related to a view with access to internet included. Later, I used that community (comlectura) in version 2c to retrieve those values of usmtable (1.3.6.1.6.3.15.1.2.2 ) and vacmtable (inside of 1.3.6.1.6.3.16.1) and nothing.
These are some commands I configured in the router:

I think the cause of this error perhaps is because these tables don't exist in the CISCO MIB, but I don't thinks cisco devices ONLY have cisco mibs (
1.3.6.1.4.1.9) inside of them, because I can make request with OIDs of mib-2 branches. Anyway, please someone that can guide me in this problem. Thanks in advance.

You cannot use Mavericks. Ask a friend who still runs windows or any Mac OS except Mavericks to bring their laptop and help you out.
Or plug in a USB drive for instance and create a bootable version of any previous version of OSX since 10.5.x -10.8 all of which will work fine.
Or dual boot to windows where the latest airport utility is still 5.6

Cisco Access Points Rebooting

Has anyone experienced a Cisco Access Point reboot itself, on it's own?

7 out of 17 are rebooting... but it's not isolated to one IDF it's different spots within the building.i will check the log in flash.
Hmmmmm ... And if you do a "sh version" to everyone of them it comes up saying something like "by power-on"?
If this is the case, you may also want to consider the copper cables between your Injector and your AP.

My router and access point reboots when trying to stream content from iOS devices or mac to my apple tv.

Please answer as many of the following questions as you can. You may already have answered some of them. In that case, there's no need to repeat the answers.
Have you restarted your router and your broadband device (if they're separate) since you first noticed the problem? If not, do that now and see whether there's any change.

Cisco 7206vxr randomly rebooting

I have a cisco 7206vxr router that has been randomly rebooting.
This is the error I am getting.

Cisco 877 router - Cisco IP phone won't register with SIP provider

Hi all,
I'm having a problem with a Cisco SPA504G phone not registering with the SIP carrier over the Internet. We've recently rolled out a Cisco 877 router onto a new NBN business connection and can't get the pre-configured IP phone to register.
When we tested the phone with the NBN-provided Netgear router, it worked fine, as it did with the previous Cisco 1841 router we were using on a different link.
The way it's setup is using VLANs to define the internal subnets, which are then assigned to the physical interfaces (since the 887 doesn't allow IP assignments to the interfaces directly).
VLAN 100 is the internal network and has a SBS2011 server – assigned to F0 – IP range is 192.168.1.0
VLAN 200 is the guest network and has Internet access only – assigned to F1 – IP range is 10.1.1.0
VLAN 500 is the WAN network and connects to the NBN upstream box – assigned to F3 – external IP address assigned by DHCP
I've been playing around with access lists, nat rules, basically everything in my limited Cisco knowledge to try and figure this out, but to no avail. I have even configured what I believe is unrestricted access to IP, UDP and TCP outbound and inbound to all VLANs and still can't get it to register.
Tried isolating the issue by creating a new VLAN and assigning it to the spare interface and basically allowing everything in and out, but still no luck.
The problem has to be something on the router – probably some small line of config I haven’t removed or added.
I am going to pull my hair out soon, so would really appreciate some assistance from the Cisco gurus out there.
My client has just purchased about 10 of these handsets from their provider so I need to fix this ASAP. The guy who provided them wasn't very helpful, and basically said I'm on my own once we tested using the NBN-provided Netgear router.

Cisco SCE 8000 rebooting

Cisco SCE 8000 working normally while traffic through it not pass. When i connect optical links and start passing traffic throught cisco, i have a problem. SCE watchdog run software reboot with error:

Cisco catalyst 4500e rebooted unexpectedly

we are facing problem in cisco catalyst switch, actually we are using Cisco catalyst 4500e switch, Two month back we upgrade IOS from "cat4500e-ipbasek9-mz.150-2.SG" to cat4500e-ipbasek9-mz.152-2.E1.bin “since i upgrade new IOS that was running perfectly, but last two weeks back unexpectedly switch was rebooted and today also we faced the same problem. here i enclosed the tech support details. kindly check and suggest me the correct solution.
Is there in any bug is there?...... How can we clarify whether the switch is ok on that IOS.....

Necesito configurar dos servicios Adsl en un Router Cisco RV042

Tengo un Modem Infinitum y un Modem Cablevisión.
Quiero balancear las cargas de ambos con un router de este tipo, no tengo idea de como se hace pero mucha gente me recomienda este modelo.
Alguien tiene un manual de como hacerlo? o me podría apoyar en decirme como se configura?
De este router colgaria 3 AP diferentes.

Gracias por consulta con Small Business Support Community.
Varias cosas a considerar;
1. Usted tiene el RV016 conectado a un xDSL modem; solo uno de los dos dispositivos debe estar negociando la conexion PPPoE por lo que si ya el modem lo hace entonces el router no debe hacerlo, osea la configuracion WAN debe ser "automatic" y no PPPoE. Podemos confirmar que el modem es el que hace la negociacion de la conexion si conecta un computador directamente al modem, configura "automatic" TCP/IP settings en la PC, reinicia la maquina y trate de conectarse al internet, de ser positivo el resultado cambie PPPoE por "automatic" en el router como le mencione y reinicie todos lo equipos una ves conectado todo como usted lo desea. De ser el resultado negativo en la prueba con el modem entonces si el PPPoE debe ser configurado en el router como usted lo esta haciendo.
2. Una ves confirmado lo anterior y en vista que el router esta obteniendo un IP desde el proveedor, puede hacer un PING test a alguna direccion en internet, por ejemplo 4.2.2.2, esto desde System Management > Diagnostic
De ser positivo el test sabemos que el problema no es la conexion a internet si no mas bien un problema de LAN el cual confirmamos tratando de hacer PING desde un computador conectado al router. De ser positivo el reultado el problema es con el navegador de internet y de ser negativo confirmamos un error con la configuration del LAN.
De ser un problema con la configuracion del LAN primero confirme la configuracion de IP tando del puerto LAN en el router asi como del computador, asegurandose que se encuentren dentro de la misma red.
3. Elimine el access rule.
Cualquier consulta o comentario estoy a su servicio.

Configuración Inicial router Cisco 2901

Estimados, antes que nada, disculpen mi ignorancia.
Tengo el siguiente escenario, y quiero comenzar a reemplazar algunos equipos.
Tengo un RV042 conectado a Internet y a un switch 3COM.
Quiero reemplazar estos equipos por un Cisco 2901 y un switch SG500.
No he utilizado antes IOS de Cisco, y quiero comenzar configurando lo básico. Salida a Internet. Luego necesitaria agregar VPNs, pero sería un segundo paso.
Estuve leyendo sobre ACL y las tablas de ruteo, pero no logro hacer funcionar. Puedo pinguear los equipos pero no logro navegar.
En este momento he vuelto a empezar y tengo el router reseteado de fabrica.
Pueden guiarme?

Lo primero que me pregunto es, a diferencia de los routers convencionales, uno configura ciertos parametros:
IP publica, mascara de red, puerta de enlace (se supone que es el gateway conectado a la fibra) y los dns del ISP.
Cuando voy a configurar las interfaces de red en IOS, como especifico estos datos?
