Router ea2700 and switch se2800

Good evening,
I have a router connected ea2700 on the Internet port to a switch se2800.
e switch is connected and everything is gigabit nas.
if I try to transfer a file from PC, gigabit ethernet, the transfer rate does not exceed 8 MB/s.
if I transfer a file from the NAS to the PC speed is 15 MB/s.
the support advised me to change MTU manufacturer parameters,to disable protection, and clone the mac address.
the situation has not changed.
if I configure the router in bridge mode, the speed is 22MB/s and 45MB/s.
it happened to someone?
thanks.
Francesco

good morning,
thanks for the reply.
the configuration that I've reported, does not allow the use of nat router function.
now after the switch off and on again, the situation seems to have improved.
is it possible?
thanks
Francesco

  • Will the expiring CCNP route exam still be valid with the newer Troubleshoot and switch 2.0 exams?

    Hi everyone,
I plan on taking my CCNP (route) exam within the next month but I just notice that the exam will only be valid until Jan of 2015. Now my question is that if I take the exam older exam will it still be valid to combine the newer  "Trouble shoot 2.0" and "Switch 2.0"? I would like to take the current route test instead of the newer version becaue I've been studying it but I like to know if it will be uselss or not when combining the other to make myself an official CCNP certification holder.

    I have found on search:
    Q. Can I mix the current exams with newer exams to achieve CCNP Routing and Switching?
    A. Yes, it is possible to mix version 1 and version 2 exams, but if you completed version 1 exams for ROUTE or SWITCH, then you will need to prepare version 2 ROUTE & SWITCH as well in order to pass the TSHOOT v2 exam because the TSHOOT v2 exam assumes knowledge of ROUTE v2 and SWITCH v2 topics.
The answer is unclear, yes you can mix, but you will have to prepare for version 2. I hope it's wrong information.

  • My LMS 3.2 won't detect Switch 29xx , router 39xx and 7200

    Hi ,
    my LMS 3.2 won't detect  my new Switchs 29xx , router 39XX and my 7200 router !!!!
    Thanks

First thing you would want to do is upgrade to the latest device package for Common Services (MDF).  That can be done under CS > Software Center > Device Update, check CiscoWorks Common Services and Check For Updates.
You can also use CLI commands (my preference) for this:
PSUCli.bat -p cmf -d -dst c:\psu_download -all  (will download common services packages to c:\psu_download\cmf)
PSUCli.bat -p cmf -install -src c:\psu_download\cmf -all  (will install the packages)
Use the supported device table below to confirm if your devices are or aren't supported:

  • Power consumption for router and switch

I have a linksys EZSX88W switch which I checked power consumption of 70ma idle. It's supplied by the adapter which has an output of 1000ma. Not sure what the consumption when switch is being used. I also have an WRT54GS but haven't checked consumption yet, but it's powered by the same 1000ma adapter. In an effort to save energy-that -GREEN FEELING- I was thinking of using on power adapter to power bothe the router and switch. Has anyone tried this yet?? Also if I posted this in the wrong area I hope the moderator will move the post.
    thanks

So you are thinking of Powering on both the Devices using a single Power Adapter? Well never tried to make both the devices use a single power adapter. As far as i think its not possible. But if you still wish, you can give a try and check if that works for you or not.

  • Syslog for router and switch

    Hi all,
Any one help me to configure router and switch log on windows server. I dont have any idea please send me link or guide to configure syslog server on windows.  For PPTP vpn users also.

    Hi,
Are you asking, "How do I set up my Windows server as a Syslog Server"... in order to receive messages from your routers and switches?
If so, I'd suggest a google search on syslog server - locate and download the software there, and it should have a configuration guide with it.
Was this the information you were looking for?

  • No 'ip routing' command on switch and yet intervlan routing.

    Hi,
In my companies 4500 switch I see there is intervlan routing configured for the 4 Vlans it has but I do not see any 'ip routing' command on it
to enable routing on the switch. Can a switch route even though the command isnt there?

Ran the 'show run all' command and it was there. Thought '
sh run | i ip' would display it but didn't.
    Thanks for the command.
We just turned enterprise. I keep forgetting that.

  • Behind Router and Switch, Can't Enter URLs Without Dot-Com

    Hello all,
I switched my networking situation this morning and now I've lost my favorite feature...the ability to enter URLs without a .com and have Safari auto-complete them. Here's my setup:
    Wall->modem->D-Link Wireless-G Router->Netgear Gigabit Switch->iMac
Before, I just had my iMac connected directly to the modem, but now I have some new devices that I needed to network in. The Internet and everything else is working correctly, it's just that one thing that really bothers me. I've thumbed around through manuals and D-Link's router settings and I can't seem to find the giant on/off switch switched to off. Any ideas? Help?
    Thanks!

Based on your description of the change, my guess is that your iMac used to deal with Time Warner DNS directly and now it may be using the DNS routing settings in the D-Link. As the former owner of a D-Link I would guess you might go look in the WAN settings for the DNS field on the D-Link (in the browser-based configuration utility) and make sure the IP address there matches whatever you had entered in the DNS field in the Network settings on your Mac.

  • Help with connecting MacBook Pro with Cisco Routing and Switches?

I'm running a CiscoASA 5510 router with several Cisco WS-C2960-48TT-L switches on a local network to connect with MacBook Pro. I need to be able to restrict access to specific users via their computer MAC address. ie: Joe Blow is limited to connecting through Switch 1 on port 10 and anywhere else he tries to plug in will simply not work.

You need to look at the documentation that came with your router and switches. Or ask your network admin to set it up. Your question has nothing to do with your Macbook Pro configuration. MAC filtering is done in the router not in the computers/devices connecting to the router.

  • Router and Switch Passwords

    Hi all
What is the difference in setting passwords to access the console, Telnet (line vty 0 4) and other passwords in routers and switches. Are all the commands and where you set the passwords at the cmd prompts the same etc
    Regards
    Glenn

console password is used to authenticate user when user will try to access device through console port.
Telnet password is used to authenticate user when user will telnet to the device from remotely.
Hope this URL will give you more information.

  • What is diff b/w pick and switch activity in bpel?

what is the difference between pick activity and switch activity in BPEL? example Please

1)The switch activity is an IfElse with two different flows, based on a conditional expression, derived out of existing message(s) in your process.
Eg. i) Whether the salary is greater than 10,000 or not.
ii) Whether the age is greater than 60 or not.
iii) whether the department is finance or not.
2)The pick activity is an IfElse with two different flows, based on two different messages/signals, that you can expect to receive(when you are waiting for a message) from outside of your process.
Eg. i) whether you received a reply message or a timeout signal.
ii) whether you received a AddNewEmployee message or UpdateEmployee message.
The (decision for which route to be taken for) pick activity is based on the MessageType, while the switch is based on the contents in a message. The pick activity implies that you are waiting for a message, this can occur, at the start of your process or in the mid of your process. However, switch activity doesnot wait for any message, hence can only occur in the mid of the process and can not be the start of a process.

    Or:
    Settings>>Privacity, be sure the Location Service is turn on;
    Or:
In Settings>>General>>Reset, select "Reset all Adjusts". (Sorry, but it will change some personal adjustments, but will not delete anything at all)

  • Is it possible to sort or filter the switch routes under the switching tab?

In Teststand 3.1, is it possible to filter the switch routes under the switching tab in Action Properties?  Since I have a large amount of routes that have been created in Switch Executive, how can I filter out some of the routes from the "Routes to Connect" section?

The TestStand Switching does not provide any inherent filtering capabilities.  You do have a couple of options, however.
    (1)  NI-Switch provides the ability to set up route connections in
different groups.  The Switch Page in TestStand allows you to
select Routing groups as well as specific Routes.  It may be
easier for you to organize your Connections as groups and choose
    between different groups.
    (2)  The Property page also allows you to build route connection
string and use that string  for your Switching actions.  It
may be easier for you to build a Route string and easily change that
string rather than selecting your routes everytime from within the
    TestStand window.
    Good Luck!

  • Ask the Expert: Packet Capture Capabilities of Cisco Routers and Switches

    With Rahul Rammanohar
Welcome to the Cisco Support Community Ask the Expert conversation. This is an opportunity to learn and ask questions about packet capture capabilities of Cisco routers and switches.
In May 2013, we created a video that included packet capture capabilities across multiple Cisco routers and switches. For each product, we began with a discussion about the theory of the capabilities, followed by an explanation of the commands, and we concluded with a demo on real devices. In this Ask the Expert event, you’re encouraged to ask questions about the packet capture capabilities of these Cisco devices:
    •       7600/6500: mini protocol analyzer (MPA), ELAM, and Netdr
    •       ASR9k: network processor capture
    •       7200/ISRs: embedded packet capture
    •       Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K, and 3K: Ethanalyzer
    •       Cisco Nexus 7K: ELAM
    •       CRS: show captured packets
    •       ASR1K: embedded packet capture

    Hello Erick
Thanks for the topology. The trigger will be different for labelled  packet as you would need to mention the values of labels too in the  trigger.
Below are two examples of one or two labels being  used, it depends on where you are capturing the packet in mplsvpn  scenario which will decide teh number of labels being imposed on the  packet.
Trigger for one label. (if the router on which you are capturing the packet PHP is being performed)
    VPN label - 5678
    Source Address - 111.111.111.111
    Destination Address - 123.123.123.123
    show platform capture elam trigger dbus others if data = 0 0 0 0x88470162 0xE0000000 0 0 0x00006F6F 0x6F6F 7B7B 0x7B7B0000 [ 0 0 0 0xffffffff 0xf0000000 0 0 0x0000ffff 0xffffffff 0xffff0000 ]
Trigger for two labels. (for other core routers)
    IGP label - 1234
    VPN label - 5678
    Source Address - 111.111.111.111
    Destination Address - 123.123.123.123
    show platform capture elam trigger dbus others if data = 0 0 0 0x8847004D 0x20000162 0xE0000000 0 0 0x00006F6F 0x6F6F7B7B 0x7B7B0000 [ 0 0 0 0xffffffff 0xf000ffff 0xf0000000 0 0 0x0000ffff 0xffffffff 0xffff0000 ]
You can check the labels being used (by using show ip cef <> details) and covert their values to hex and change the trigger accordingly.
I have changed the colors for better understanding. If you notice carefully in the trigger the values for ip address, labels have just been converted to their respective hex values which could be replaced.
Please let me know if this helps.
    Thanks & Regards
