Router IOS requirements to work with WAAS WCCP?

Can some help me with up to date switch and router IOS requirements to work with WAAS WCCP configuration? There used to be a Cisco document explaining that but I can't find it any more.
Here is out WAAS 4.2.3 deployment in the network:
Data center: Cat6500 Sup720-3B running IOS 12.2(18)SXF12a will do WCCP L2 redirection. I've seen minimum Sup720 IOS requirement of 12.2(18)SXF13 in one place and 12.2(18)SXF16 in another, but there are also examples of using 12.2 (18) SXF5. Which one is the latest Cisco recommendation?
Remote sites: 3825 and 3845 routers (some are running 12.4 T train and some are in 12.4 main line) will do WCCP GRE redirection to WAE's. One of the routers will use a WAE-NME-522 module. Others are WAE applicances. Again, what are the latest Cisco recommendations?
Another question: for an IOS release, does it matter which package to use, such as advanced IP services, enterprise services, or SP services?

By default, WAAS preserves the DSCP marking on intercepted packets. There is a configuration option to set/override the DSCP value at the global (device), application, and classifier levels. Currently WAAS provides marking only. There is no action taken by WAAS based on the DSCP value.

What method of internet do you have.. is this fibre install.. if so the TC should just plug in and use dhcp in router mode.. press and hold the reset and it will go back to router mode by default.

Which PC is recommended by Microsoft that ACTUALLY meet the requirements to work with software development for kinect for windows?

My PC serves the minimum requirements described in the kinect page, but when installing the device, the software says that the computer does not meet the minimum requirements and therefore will not work with efficiency. Alternatively, theorize buy a new

Getting a definitive answer from Microsoft will be difficult as to my understanding, requirements are still subject to change; and unless it's their brand of PC I doubt they will give free advertisement to buy a specific make/model.
There are other threads where people discuss specific machines that work with the Kinect V2.
The only compatibility problems I've had with getting it to work are: It has to be run Windows 8; It has to have a compatible USB 3.0; The 'Compatible' USB 3.0 requirement seems to be the most difficult.

Router suddenly no longer works with my iMAC. Please help, I'm desperate.

SSIA, pretty much. One day, after a few years of working fine, my Linksys BEFSR41 Vers. 3 router just stopped working with my iMac. I've dtermined through process of elimination that it is indeed the router since I can access the internet by plugging the cable modem directly into my Mac and thus can write this to you guys now. I tried just hooking up the Mac and the router directly and trying to access it through the http://192.168.1.1 address. Didn't work. So I thought the router just crapped out for some reason. Then I went out and bought a brand new Linksys BEFSR41 Vers. 3 router. Considering I had no problem with the first one for a few years it seemed reasonable. Now that one won't work either. Although I can access it via the 192.168.1.1 address. However once I do that, I no idea what to do. I tried to upgrade firmware and that was only supposed to "take a few minutes" but it said that for 3 hours so I stopped it. The thing is, with the first router I didn't need to do a thing. All I had to do was plug it in and it worked beautifully with my iMac and TiVo. Maybe something in my iMac wigged out and that why it won't work with these things anymore. I don't know. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to get my iMac and TiVo back online again via this router? I truly appreciate any help and the patience it must've taken you to get this far in reading long post.

Oh my God thank you so much. I spent the last week trying to figure this **** thing out and that's all it took. Sometimes the most simple explanation is all that's required but last looked at. Thank you for pointing out the obvious. I kinda wish Linksys would've pointed that out to me when I exchanged a total of 25 e-mails with them. Oh well. Thank you again. I am so grateful.

IOS 8 not working with bluetooth controls in BMW

Just upgraded to IOS 8 and now most of the interface functions with BMW iDrive stopped working. I am able to manually make and receive calls via the car and manually play bluetooth audio, but no other controls work. I cannot dial the phone, select playlists, access contacts. I have already reset all system settings on the phone, re-paired the phone with the car in every conceivable combination, etc. and still no luck. Do I have to revert back to IOS 7 which worked fine and wait for Apple to fix this problem? I called BMW and they said it is was an Apple problem. This is the response I expected from them but I believe they are correct because IOS 8 seems to be causing similar problems in other vehicles as well (I have seen Audi and Ford and a few others). Anyone found a solution to this. Apple, are you listening??

I confirm the issue, in my case I cannot make and receive calls thru the idrive since I've upgraded to IOS, I had hopes in the newest upgrade IOS 8.0.2 but the problem remains. Really disappointing. Please Apple take action soonest.

IOS programming newbie, working with remoteIO unit and mic

I recently started programming audio apps, working with the MultiChannelMixer sample code. I need to read the mic input into my app. Reading through tons of apple documentation but still unable to get it working. Anybody have a some straight-forward answer to how enable the mic and setup the callbacks to get audio into my app? An outline of the steps and sample code would be great.

Remote desktop not working with WAAS

I've got the WAAS setup and i'm see ok acceleration between sites but I have a complete failure of remote desktop. I've had to place a deny statement in my access list on the remote sites router for port 3389 to exclude traffic from the WAAS to even be able to get an RDP connection to work. I've tried to tell the WAAS to just set Remote-Desktop traffic to pass through but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Because Internet access is allowed directly from the remote sites the ACL below will only redirect traffic destined for private addresses to the 474 located at the remote site.

I have just update my MacBook to Snow Leopard 10.6.3. Unfortunately I can not now connect to the internet. I have a time capsule that is connected to a router. This is working with other devices but if I try to connect with the MB everything stops?

I have updated my MB to Snow Leopard 10.6.3 - I know this means I am a little behind the times but the problems I am now having seem to justify my reluctance. Now am unable to connect to the internet! I use a time capsule connected via a router. Everything is still OK with every other device (PC, I phone, Ipod) in the house so I know the "Network" is still enabled and there is no problem with the ISP. Strangley whenever I boot up the MB it appears to freeze the network such that the other devices also will then not access the internet. To regain access I have to turn off the MB and reset the router. Any help gratefully recieved as I have tried some of the ideas i have found in the internet but nothing is working. Thanks.

That's odd.
Try this: Unplug your Time Capsule and your router. On your MBP, click the Wi-Fi icon and select "Open Network Preferences".
Click the lock icon to authenticate, then click the "gear" and select "set service order". Wherever AirPort (or Wi-Fi - I forget what Snow Leopard calls it) appears, drag it elsewhere in the list. Click OK, then Apply, then power up your router and TC.
If that doesn't result in any change, repeat the above but try making the service(s) you do not need "inactive".
The purpose of this is to reset or at least change your Network Preferences, which somehow got confused upon upgrading to SL.

Is there any way to get ipad 2 mirroring (beta ios 5) to work with unicast? The school won't enable multicast for traffic concerns on a many AP wireless network.

Is there any way to come up with an acceptable solution (unicasting?) that will only route traffic to the devices connected to a single access point on the network (the same one the ipad 2 and apple tv are connected to) without sending it to all the access points on the district wireless network? Short of every teacher having an independent wireless router in each of their rooms (which could still potentially interfere with the district wireless), I don't currently have a solution. I've heard the network guys through around terms like multicasting, unicasting, igmp, etc. I don't want to choke down the district wireless either, but there must be a solution to this. I could easily see 40 teachers in the complex all using iPad 2s mirroring through apple tvs attached to projectors all going on at the same time, but there might only be 3 or 4 on each access point.

IOS 15 not working with my TACACS server

Hi All,
I recently made some changes to the way my Tacacs server (ACS4.2) handled groups etc..
This all works fine and when I log onto my devices I get prompted for my credentials, which authenticate against AD. However, since I made these changes none of the devices on IOS 15 now authenticate. I am immediately prompted for a local password rather than a username and password..
I understand that the commands for Tacacs changeda bit in IOS15 but from what I have read and changed I'm still having trouble. Config below from once of the routers I'm having trouble with...
Am I missing something?

Can I use Time Capsule off a Netgear Router? Can it work with a hub?

Hi, I have a Sling Box set up with a modem and a Netgear router and a bridge. The sling box does not support an Airport base station. I also have a Time Capsule which works off a modem and I can not get to work off my Netgear router. How do I avoid having (and paying for) two internet networks in my house. Someone suggested using a hub. I have no experience. Does this make sense? Thank you.

Duane - you seem to be a very active user and I am new to Mac. I am considering a time capsule and / or Air Port extreme. I have a PC I would like to put on the wireless network (still use it until my transition is complete) and would like to do some wireless printing on my HP L7780 OfficeJet Pro All-in-One. Ios 8 not working with chevy link

I upgraded my ipad 3 and iPhone 4S to IOS 8. After the upgrade neither device works correctly in my Chevrolet vehicle via Chevy Link. Both devices worked perfectly with Chevy Link when I was using IOS7.
When I plug in my ipad or Iphone it will connect and play songs but as soon as I select a playlist it displays an error message in my vehicle information screen. When you click "OK" to clear the message the device is immediately disconnected from Chevy link and the radio goes back to XM.
Any suggestions how to remedy the situation? As I said before, all of my Apple devices worked perfectly under IOS7.

After having the same problem with my 2013 Chevy Equinox, I did a factory reset of my iPhone 5s and re-installed IOS 8 from scratch.
I used my iTunes backup to restore my apps, contacts, photo ..etc
Since I did that, I was able to connect my phone via bluetooth to my Chevy Equinox, make phone calls, listen to music ..etc
So far so good. I made about 10 calls, stopped the car, restarted the car and reconnected the phone and it worked.
I wonder if the upgrade from IOS 7 to IOS 8 is not working properly and causing problems with Bluetooth. It seems that a full install after a factory reset fixed my problem.
Hopefully, it is the end of the nightmare. Good luck.

Verizon FIOS router Actiontec MI424WR not working with bonjour printing

Running OS X ver 10.9.3. Have a HPLaserJetP1102w. Just upgraded my Verizon FIOS router to Actiontec MI424WR Rev. I. Now my Mac can no longer find the printer wirelessly (it does, however, work thru USB). I see others have had this problem- and apparently some have solved it by changing settings on the router- but those settings options do not appear under 'advanced' for me. Verizon technical support, including the version one must pay for- was totally and utterly unable to help. Any suggestions for how to rescue this? Was all working perfectly with older Verizon router.

I've had EXACTLY the same experience. Phone support and the techs who come to my home apparently have no idea this has been happening for months and months. Clearly, this issue hasn't filtered down from the network engineers to support.
