Router not routing!?
Hello
I've succesfully configured a tiny LAN of two Solaris 10 PCs. I've also tried to set up a router for ip-forwarding and NAT between the LAN and internet, according to many explanations on the net. However, my router doesn't seem to be forwarding packets from non-router: traceroute from non-router to internet shows packet stucking on the LAN's router interface. At the same time I can directly traceroute internet interface of the router from non-router. I'm connected to internet using DHCP by a cable modem, and connection works nice on the router machine. I enclose the files of the router understood important as well as some outputs of commands, so can anyone see what is wrong? Any help is highly appreciated!
/etc/nodename
Taavi
I have an empty /etc/dhcp.rtls0.
My /etc/hostname.rtls0 is empty, for DHCP to work correctly.
/etc/hostname.rtls1

My current configuration is exactly what you see in my first message, but I try to clear it up a bit.
I have a router with two physical interfaces:
-rtls0 to ISP's DHCP via cable modem
-rtls1 to LAN: IP 192.168.0.1
/etc/dhcp.rtls0 exists to make DHCP configure
/etc/nodename contains my hostname Taavi
/etc/hostname.rtls0 is empty
/etc/hostname.rtls1 contains router's LAN hostname taavetti
/etc/notrouter doesn't exist
/etc/defaultrouter doesn't exist for DHCP to set the default route

THE PROBLEM: I can't contact internet, for example my nameserver, from a non-router which belongs to my LAN. Traceroute from there stucks on the router's LAN interface. Using or not NAT doesn't change the situation.

Route not determing automatically at sales order level for some sales order
Dear All ,
Route not determing automatically at sales order level for some sales orders. We are using automatic route determination without wt group, eventhough we have configured the required settings
I have checked all the forums but didn't find any solution for the same.
Looking for your inputs .
Thanks inadvance
Regards
VenkatHi
1. Copare the Routes which are Automatically determined and which are not automatically determined
2. Have you mainted this route to be RELEVANT FOR TRANSPORTATION without this check route will not get picked up.
SPRO > Logistic General > Shipping > Basic Shipping Function > Routes > Define Routes > Define Routes and stages > Select the Route and check for it's settings > CHECK MARK Relevant for Transport. Without this check the route will not get picked up as of my understanding.
Thanks

Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router Not working
I have a Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router and it has worked good for a couple months and yesterday it stopped. When I plug it in all the lights are lit even though there arent any ethernet cables connected and the power light blinks constantly. I tried holding the reset button on the back and it didnt help. Anyone know whats wrong or anything I can try to fix it?
You need to try again to reset the router to factory defaults.
To reset your router to factory defaults, use the following procedure:
1) Power down all computers, the router, and the modem, and unplug them from the wall.
2) Disconnect all wires from the router.
3) Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
4) Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release it, then let the router reset and reboot (2-3 minutes).
5) Power down the router.
6) Connect one computer by wire to port 1 on the router (NOT to the internet port).
7) Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
8) Power up the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it is off).
9) Try to ping the router. To do this, click the "Start" button > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. A black DOS box will appear. Enter the following: "ping 192.168.1.1" (no quotes), and hit the Enter key. You will see 3 or 4 lines that start either with "Reply from ... " or "Request timed out." If you see "Reply from ...", your computer has found your router.
10) Open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1. This will take you to your router's login page. Leave the user name blank, and in the password field, enter "admin" (with no quotes). This will take you to your router setup page. Note the version number of your firmware (usually listed near upper right corner of screen). Exit your browser.
If you get this far without problems, try the setup disk (or setup the router manually, if you prefer), and see if you can get your router setup and working.
If you cannot get "Reply from ..." in step 9 above, your router is dead.
If you get a reply in step 9, but cannot complete step 10, then either your router is dead or the firmware is corrupt. In this case, use the Linksys tftp.exe program to try to reload your router with the latest firmware. After reloading the firmware, repeat the above procedure starting with step 1.
If you need additional help, please state your ISP, the make and model of your modem, your router's firmware version, and the results of steps 9 and 10. Also, if you get any error messages, copy them exactly and report back.
Please let me know how things turn out for you. -
i replaced my phone at apple y'day, due to a broken screen. Brand new phone, but i am unable to connect to wifi, at home or work, so presuming its a fault with the phone? not router, i have also done a software update, is there a solution? thanks
Hi Eric,
What message do you get when you try to connect?
Cheers! -
CALL DOES NOT ROUTE OUT THE LOCAL GATEWAY
Local calls will not route out the local Gateway of branch1 to the PSTN or from the PSTN back to branch1, however they will route out either CorpHQ or branch2 backup gateways. When I go into the route group configuration for branch1, and remove the backup gateways, I get a fast busy tone when I dial the local number. I know the MGCP Gateway at branch1 is functioning because when I dial 911 and run debug ISDN Q931, the call routes properly through branch1, so I have a call routing problem. I ran DNA and it came back as ROUTE THIS PATTERN and all of the number translations looked accurate, so I didn't have to check for any block patterns. I'm not getting any errors on the calling party phone display. When I deleted the route pattern for the branch1 site and forced it to use the global route pattern, I received a debug output on branch1. I do not know a debug command (such as debug voip dial-peer or debug ccsip messages) to use for an MGCP Gateway to see if the call is actually reaching the Gateway.
I have checked the following:
the route pattern configuration
the translation pattern configuration
the called party transformation pattern configuration
the route list configuration to make sure the correct route group for branch1 was selected
the route group configuration to make sure that the branch1 Gateway was first in the order of selected devices
the route pattern configuration to make sure the correct route list for branch1 ist selected
the Gateway configuration to make sure it's using the device pool for branch1 and to make sure the called party transformation CSS for the branch1 Gateway is applied
the device pool configuration to make sure it's using the route group branch1
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Regards,
RonHi Nishant:
Please see the attachments for the Gateway pages
The significant digits for inbound calls for all 3 gateways is '4'
Please see the running-configs of the 3 gateways and the PSTN
Please see the debugs for the INBOUND calls
Many Thanks,
Ron
The following INBOUND call from the PSTN to 2065011001 is now working, however it is supposed to be routing through CorpHQ and is instead routing through Branch1. Please see 'DEBUG VOIP CCAPI INOUT' & 'DEBUG ISDN Q931'

GRC AC 10 SP13 - workflow not routing to multiple role owners
hello
We are experiencing issues in our production MSMP workflow where an access request with multiple business roles are not being routed to role owners after manager approval. The request contains four business roles. Three business roles have three different role owners. The fourth business role does not have a role owner assigned. After the manager approves the request, the business role without a role owner does not provision. The other three business roles do not route to their respective role owners. We have tested the same scenario in our development environment and it routes properly. I have validated our MSMP workflow settings in production and validated it was activated. I have also checked the instance monitor via GRFNMW_DBGMONITOR_WD and it does not give an indication why the request isn't routing.
Any ideas why we are seeing this? Below is a screen shot of the audit log.Hi Stacey
If DEV is working and PRD is not have you gone through and compared both and ensure latest MSMP configuration in PRD has been activated?
Also, is the approver COCHGG00 also the Role Owner?
Are you able to show you MSMP configuration? It's makes sense to analyse the log in the context of your configuration. E.g. does the Z_ADDTNL_ACCESS_PATH path have two stages: Manager and Role Owner of which there is a routing rule on the Manager approval to go to the NO_ROLE_OWNER path where the business role has no role owner?

WRT120N wireless nodes not routed to WAN, Multicast not working
Hi. Since a few weeks, I am experiencing strange and very annoying problems with my WRT120N. I have a DSL connection at home and the router connects to that via PPPoE. The LAN consists of one wired node and several wireless nodes. I have a G/N mixed setup because I also have G-only nodes (older laptop, mobile phone).
Every few minutes, my wireless nodes are not routed to the WAN anymore. Weird thing is: they can still connect to the wired node on the LAN so bridging seems to work fine. They can also connect to the router itself and the router says it is connected to the WAN. I can confirm this WAN connection because the wired node is being routed to the internet all the time. Restarting the router solves the problem. Actually, even if just disabling/enabling the wireless connection on my nodes solves it. However after a few minutes, sometimes seconds, routing stops working again (It happened twice during the writing of this email).
Another thing that is really bugging me is that multicast seems to get filtered. After a few minutes, no multicast message is being sent to the wireless nodes. Multicast packets sent by the wireless nodes do arrive at the wired node but any answer is being filtered on the router.
I have changed pretty much every possible setting that could be connected to the issue but no improvement (e.g. filtering multicast in the firewall). I used to be on 1.0.0.4 and hoped that upgrading to 1.0.0.5 would help but it didn't. I also checked this forum for solutions but found none that is working for me. This way, the router is pretty much useless for wireless clients as after an arbitrary but pretty short time interval they can only connect to the LAN and no Multicast service discovery/media streaming is possible. I really need help on these issues.Hi Brickmonkey,
thanks a lot for your answer. I did the changes you advised. In fact, here's in detail what I did:
Router reset as described.
Changed the following configuration options:
PPPoE + Credentials
Local IP
MAC-IP Bindings for DHCP
Time Zone
DynDNS
Wireless Mode -> Mixed
SSID
Channel Width -> Auto
Wireless Security -> Enabled
Encryption AES
Passphrase
Port Forwarding for SSH,HTTPS
Router Password
Changed the options beacon interval, RTS threshold, fragmentation threshold and MTU as advised.
Router power cycled.
Routing and multicast are running since 5 minutes. Let's see if it lasts.
Answering your question: I do have one wired machine directly connected to the internal switch at the WRT120N. That's the one the ports are forwarded to. It has a static IP outside the DHCP range and is actually my DHCP,DNS etc server - however DHCP is disabled at the moment. All my other machines are wireless clients with G or N connectivity.
Can you explain the reason behind your proposed configuration changes? -
Approval process monitor status turn to "Initiated" instead of "Pending", so awe is not routed
When I submit a transaction, after successful submission in approval process monitor the status has turn "Initiated" instead of "Pending". That's why it's showing "Not Routed" for the next approving person. So that worklist is not populated.
Please suggest me to resolve this issue.
Process Monitor as follows after submission:
Separation Approval Process (Stage)
Initiated (Monitor status)
Approval Routing from Unit HR (Path)
Not Routed (Step) Not Routed (Step)
Multiple Approvers Multiple Approvers
STATEHR ROLEUSER SEPARATION Central Hr
(Userlist) (Userlist)Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

Linksys E1200 Router not saving Port Forwarding changes
Hi!
I am currently attempting to port forward on my Linksys E1200 Router and am not succeeding in saving my settings. I am attempting to open port 25565 though both Single Port Forwarding and Port Range Forwarding, and whenever I click the "save settings" button, I receive a full window message stating that my changes have been saved. Upon clicking this, I return to the previous screen whereupon my changes have been erased and my port has not been forwarded. Can anyone assist me with this? I've searched for hours through forums and tech help websites, but I can't find anyone else with this issue.
Issue:
Linksys E1200 Router not saving Port Forwarding changes.
I have tried:
-Restarting the Modem
-Restarting the browser
-Restarting the computer
-Tried to Port Forward through both the Single and Ranged Port ForwardingHi there. You can try another browser or a different computer. If it is the same thing, upgrade the firmware of the router. You can refer to this link on how to http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=0a6881b90224439b92c8d8f19ca42e5d_21511.xml&pid=80&...

We got below mentioned error in CVP Call Server logs for our calls. Due to this calls are not routed to agents.
Apart from our call flow, I need to know what is the cause and solution of this error.
Aborting XFER and disconnecting the caller code 488. RINGTONE SERVICE is not answering within 5000 millisecs, or the caller did not receive or accept the reinvite for ringtone media setup.

I don't have experience on PCCE , but UCCE perspective this looks to me more like ATR(Agent Targeting rule) or Device Target Issue. Ringtone service should not cause Calls to fail.
Can you please post log from CVP, for Particular call that faced this issue?

Server Timed Out, Router not detected
Ever since a heavy thunderstorm I have been unable to pick up wireless Internet on any of my wi-fi devices. I'm no longer able to access 192.168.1.1 through my Internet browser, when I tried to ping 192.168.1.1 it says Server Timed Out, and the LinkSys EasyLink Advisor program said my computer was unable to detect my router. Help?
Marcar,
its much easier for us to help if you give us a little detail. like the model & version of your device.
anyway, a thunderstorm aye?? ake sure that the router's power light is not blinking, if it is reset the router.
HOW TO RESET A ROUTER:
with router turned on, push on the little reset button on the back of the router (beside the wan/internet port). hold that button for about 30 seconds and then release and then turn the router off. leave it of for 20 seconds.
by then you can access the default IP of the router which is 192.168.1.1 (password: "admin").
BTW: before you reset the router make sure you know how to reconfigure it back again to work with the modem for your internet connection. -
I'm attempting to use dynamic routing (Dynamic Routing Action) to route to another proxy service and I keep getting "BEA-382000: Error preparing message for dispatch".
I'm using a lookup table:
<routingTable>
<route>
<relative-uri>/destination_1</relative-uri>
<route-to>DestinationOne</route-to>
</route>
<route>
<relative-uri>/destination_2</relative-uri>
<route-to>DestinationTwo</route-to>
</route>
</routingTable>
"DestinationOne" and "DestinationTwo" are local protocol proxy services that reside in two different projects.
To get the correct route-to value, my XQuery statement is:
routingTable/route/route-to[../relative-uri='{relative_uri}']
and I know it works.
At this point, the first proxy service (the one that does the routing) does nothing but use content from the $inbound variable to lookup the route-to information.
What am I missing?
Many thanks,
-MarkWe do this often.
I'm sure it can happen in other ways, but I see the error you're describing commonly in two scenarios:
1. An error occurred in the second proxy but you don't have an error-handler on that proxy (I've found it really helps to make sure there is an error handler on every proxy that at least logs the $fault and then does Reply with Success, otherwise ALSB sometimes loses the fault details). I think I usually get a BEA-38000 in that case, not a 38200, but off the top of my head I'm not sure.
2. If an AnySOAP proxy is calling an AnyXml proxy, I get this error. Recently we switched out endpoint to AnySOAP, and I had to go through and recreate all of the proxies to AnySOAP because previously they'd been AnyXml. Even adding error-handling to every possible level didn't give me any better details, I just happened to try the Any SOAP switch on one proxy and learned it fixed the error.
Hope that helps you track it down, at least there are some examples of what causes this error.

Hi All,
The sat nav on the 5800 is really good but I'm getting a slight issue with routing.
I searched an address by road and house number and county. It was found by the software but when I came to drive to it today I got a message "Route not found".
I then manually entered the postcode in the search bar and the route was then calculated correctly.
It isn't the first instance of this problem.
Any ideas as to why this has happened please?
Many thanks.Did you download the new maps through maps updater .
It normally asks to delete old maps before installing new maps .

CK11N , bom and routing not copied
Dear all,
At time of costing run through CK11N , bom and routing not copied I have checked all validity/ status /uses / lot size of bom and routing also . but when i will run costing for next month system has copied bom and routing .
plz guide meDear Surendra Patil,
Check the costing variant that you use for executing CK11N, is it PPC1?
If this is correct means check in T code OKKN and choose PPC1 and check for the quantity structure
control and check the BOM apllication and the routing selection ID.
This should match with your BOM that you have created and also the routing that you have created.
1. Check the BOM status in CS03---> header.
2.Check the status & usage of routing in CA03,generally it will be
Usage 1 Production
Status 4 Released (general)
3. If you are using Production version check whether have you assigned proper routing group & counter
and along with the BOM.Also check whether is the production version locked?
Check & Revert back.

Workflow Process Manager - Could not route message to WfProcMgr with regist
Hi,
We recently started getting a strange error in our DEV environment:
Could not route message to WfProcMgr with registered key (null)
This is happening with the Server Component, Workflow Process Manager, and all services associated with this.
We are using Siebel v7.8.2.8. If anybody can provide any pointers, it would be of great help!
ThanksHi Trym,
Thanks for your time!
The target workflow that I am triggering from the WfProcMgr is a custom workflow and it does not have a BO defined. So, the Object Id should not be a mandatory field (I am in any case, not passing any Object Id). Nevertheless, whether I have an Object Id or I do not, I would assume that the Workflow would at least get triggered. I donot see as to why the Workflow would not trigger at all.
Though Siebel does act weird at times, I think the error I am getting is still somehow related to the actual cause! I would really like to understand as to where is this Registered Key stored in Siebel that it is continually searching for.
*When you say "Workflow Process Manager server component directly" do you mean like in a eScript
call in e.g. a Business Service?*
Please refer the second part of my previous post for this. I am trying through Server Requests BS and through Workflow Policies.
Thanks.

This should be an easy problem, but I've been at it for some time now... When I use the URL http://127.0.0.1:8080/myapp/, the welcome-file I specify in web.xml is not displayed, but a directory listing instead for the directory $tomcat/webapps/myapp.
