CSCma08461 but was repaired in version 5.0 and the problem as I have in version 9.0
any recommendations?

what does it mean "not displaying"? What do you see? Zero? NULL? An error message?
Was the CTI OS server restarted recently?

  • User not displayed under a Group

    HI All,
    We are using BOXIR2 SP2 with .NET and have configured Windows AD authentication.
    A user belongs to multiple groups. Some times a user may belong to 14- 20 groups. All these groups are added in CMC.
    The issue is when I do a manual update of the AD graph some user accounts are not being updated. The only fix I have right now is to restart the CMS.
    Also, when we see the properties of a UserA and check Member of we can see it belongs to GroupA.
    But when we see the propertis of the same GroupA and check Users, the UserA is not displayed.
    Could you please help me with this as this is our Production box and restarting the CMS is not a good solution.

    If you are unable to resolve then you should open a message with support (authentication team) Issues like this typically require considerable tracing and analysis or the CMS and packet scans. We have never reproduced a bug with the AD plugin so in most cases the problem is usually in the configuration or AD setup. It's unlikely that changing the graph timeout will make any difference if the update is not occurring when you press update in CMC > Auth > AD.

  • Phonebook not displaying names in groups.

    Hi
    I just got a new macbook pro and when I connected my iphone to it, it erased all my contacts. So I manually put them in but now instead of displaying them by letter, eg-A-NAMES,B-NAMES,C-NAME,D-NAMES. It just shows one single list of people.
    Does anybody know what I can do to fix it.

    It depends on if your iphone is not displaying your contacts alphabetically or is address book not displaying names alphabetically.
    If it is the iphone, go to home screen > settings > phone and check the contacts section to see how the names are supposed to be sorted and displayed.
    If you have the settings correct, try power-cycling or resetting the iphone.
    Both shut the power down so you can turn back on. This link will help.

    If it is the address book that is having the issue, check the address book preferences to see how the names are supposed to be sorted and displayed.
    If these are set correctly, you can rename your address book preference file.
    To rename the file:
    Make sure you quit out of address book.
    Open finder and drag the following file to the desktop.
    ~\library\preferences\apple.com.AddressBook.plist
    This will reset any preferences you have set in address book.

  • WEB Forms do not display properly with windows 95 LARGE fonts desktop setting

    Hi,
    We are using WEB forms 6.0 patch level 6 (We tried 6i but had too many bugs with it, we prefer to wait until at least a couple of patches are out, installation was a VERY painful experience for us)
    We still have the following problem with WEB FORMS deployed on win95 desktops with LARGE FONTS destktop settings: The forms are not displayed correctly, sometimes there are no scroll bars, resizing a window gives weird results, part of the forms become inaccesible, some forms are blank, etc...
    Can you verify or confirm that you have the same kind of problems ? We use jinitiator 1.1.18.
    Is it fixed with 6i ? Is it fixed wit jinit 1.1.27 ?
    We develop in smal fonts on win95 and recompile under solaris before deploying.

    Thank you all for your fast asnwers. The "Use hardware acceleration when available" was the problem, I disabled it and I will post a message on my site about this.
    The site is on-line in the same aspect since 2005, modifiyng the whole site to fit with Firefox11's default setting is not a good option. At that moment, placing a tabel (alligned to the center of the page) and puting in it the thumbnails with links generated by ExpressThumbnailCreator, than manually adding the description in the HTML view of FrontPage was the simplyest way possible to make the site appear properly on my 800*600 px resolution I used then. Of course, I upgraded my hardware and software since then, but the site remained mostly unchanged (except the index and a few files). I know it's time for a new version of the site but... my web-design knowledges are limited to basic HTML.

  • DBCA Does Not Display ASM Disk Groups In 11.2.0.4

    DBCA trying to create a database with a different user oracle  than grid user. installed Grid infrastructure with user grid, and I was trying to create a database with user oracle (who’s the owner of oracle rdbms). But during this installation I wasn’t able to see any of my ASM disk. This is all under Oracle 11.2.0.4.

    Checked Metalink  apparently here is the answer.  There should be nothing wrong if you follow the above four(4)
    procedures and the output is good. Problem is when you click on ASM, click on OMF, then you have to click
    on the open pane several times before the window with Disk Groups appears.  Took 4 secs for it to appear.
    It will not be immediate.

  • 2207H Monitor Not Displaying

    I downloaded the Windows 8.1 update and installed it. During the install though it restarted several times on its own and eventually when it came on the computer was running but there was no image on my screen. I ended up taking it to geek squad. They removed my graphics card (nvidia geforce 640gt) and then plugged in their monitor to my onboard graphics and you could see the display on the monitor. I took it home, plugged my monitor in the same way and it only ever says "No signal, monitor going to sleep". After messing with it, putting the graphics card back in, taking it back in, I still was not getting a display. I know the monitor is working though as I have plugged it into my laptop and it displays immediately without issue. I also know that the onbaord graphics for my pc are working because I went and bought the cheapest monitor Walmart had and plugged it in and it's working fine. I tested it with the nvidia card and it gave me the same no signal issue as the other, but on the onboard graphics it works.
    How is it my hp monitor isn't working on my pc but is working on my laptop, especially since my pc is also working properly and displaying on another monitor? Any ideas?
    Also, since getting the second monitor that will display I checked my drivers for updates, I ran the Maintenance, I scanned it with a malware remover and with norton, I updated all my apps in the store that had updates available, and I re-downloaded the Windows 8.1 update and it installed properly this time.
    The pc is a pavillion p7-1410 (i3 intel core) and the monitor is a 2207h 22in flat screen.

    I understand that your HP w2207h 22 inch LCD Monitor worked until you installed the Windows 8.1 update and now will not display on your HP Pavilion p7-1410 Desktop PC yet it displays on your laptop. I suspect that you are looking at a drivers issue. I am providing you with some things you can try below to fix this:
    ***Be sure to stop the steps as soon as you have the problem fixed!
    1. Check the cables running from your computer to the monitor and make sure they are properly secured.
    2. See if you can boot into Safe Mode. If you are unsure of how to do this you can use the HP Support document: Windows 8 Safe Mode.
    ***If you are able to get into Safe Mode uninstall and deleted the graphics drivers and go and download and install GeForce 340.52 Driver for your graphics card.
    3. Rollback the Windows 8.1 update and ensure that your graphics drivers are updated before you run the Windows 8.1 update again.

    }When I run this it comes out fairly alright but the button in the lower right corner does not display correctly, i have tried setting the size of the button but that does not solve the problem. If anyone can give any advice or info on how to get it to display right I would appreciate it.

    I usually only use the GroupLayout when using a GUI builder like the one in NetBeans.
    If I need to layout something manually I usually use a combination of the other layout managers.
    Sometimes I combine the two: eg. static layout with the GUI builder, dynamic layout by hand

  • Read Only Display of Radio group and Text area with counter not working

    Hello,
    I am using Apex 3.2, with 10g for the database
    I have this form, with fields that will set to read only when status = 'closed'
    All of the fields display as read only except for 2. I cannot figure out why this is not working correctly.
    1st field is Issues that is a text area with character counter, with a sql query behind it, that is set to null unless the query is pulling in the data.
    2nd field is Status which is a radio group that will not display as read only when status = 'closed'
    I have other fields on the form with the same format and they change to read only when the status = 'closed', I have even copied the pl/sql expression from one field to these fields and it still doesn't work correctly. I have also tried javascript for an on load event, which works, but once I click on the save button, it disables all of the page items, which works correctly, but I purposely forget to enter information, to make sure the validations are firing correctly, which it does, but the script disables everything, not allowing me to correct the errors. The javascript is firing on the on page load event.
    Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

    That API seems to have a bug, it returns true/false/null, so you could use 'return not nvl(htmldb_util.current_user_in_group(p_group_name => 'APP Admin'),false)' to get a false value.
    Unfortunately there's another problem: using the read-only attributes for checkbox or radiogroup item makes them hidden. My suggestion would be to create another item that has disabled="disabled" in the HTML Form Element attribute in the item definition and display that item or the non-disabled item alternately, using conditions based on the current_user_in_group logic.

  • Have a gap in detail of first page and not display group footer on each pag

    Please help me about Memo field in SubReport in CrystalReportXI. I have a SubReport that need to display pageheader, detail, page footer, and  in detail of subreport contains memo field and set the property of this text box to "Can Grow" = Yes .However, CrystalReportX does not support to display  pageheader, pagefooter in SubReport. So. I have created a formular FakePageHeader that has code  as
    "WhileReadingRecords;
    true"
    and group in this field and checked option repeat group header on each page and right click Section Expert->check print at Bottom of page for Group Footer.
    This problem is when I preview Subreport. It display text in group header and a gap in detail of first page and view next page, the subreport display right data of memo field. But the report still not display group footer on each page.
    How do I can remove a gap in first page and display group footer on each page?

    in subreport in format for the memo field uncheck keep object together.
    You can not force group footers to repeat on each page.
    I have not tried this but you might be able to capture the data you want to show in SR page footer and display in main report page footer, using shared variables.

  • Distributed Application group relationships not displaying in health view (VSAE created management pack)

    Hi there,
    I am working through my first complex Distributed Application which I have been creating using VSAE. I have followed Brian Wren's training, but the result does not match what I am expecting.
    I have created a single DA (based on the System.Service class) with four groups (base on System.Group) which will be populated with the core components of the application. Each of the groups (and the DA) is configured as a Public, Non-Abstract, Non-Hosted
    Singleton, as per the MPAuthor.Stores example. Each of the four groups is linked via an Internal, Non-Abstract System.Containment relationship to the DA.
    When I open the DA diagram view, I only get the DA class visible. Each of the four groups shows in the Groups node in the Operations Console. Based on the experience with importing the MPAuthor.Stores MP, I was not expecting to see the groups in the Groups
    node, but linked in the DA diagram node.
    I have configured dependency monitors for each of the groups, and these display in the Health Explorer but there is no health rolls up.
    The only difference between the MPAuthor.Stores module and mine (that I am aware of) is MPAuthors.Stores is a 2007 R2 MP, and I have created a 2012 MP as I will be deploying to 2012 SP1 and there is no need for backwards compatibility.

    Where all the groups have discoveries for membership. Are you saying that I need another level of groups below these to house the objects?
    I thought that the point of System.Group as a base class was that it did not appear in the console, but gave an automatic health rollup (as per TechNet). Interestingly I am not getting
    the automated health rollup for the Groups for their members and it is displaying in the Groups list in the console.
    I have also tried creating a new DA with a single group in an 07 MP, and have the same issue. The sample MPAuthor.Stores management pack works as expected.

  • Group conversation pictures not displaying on new ...

    I don't know if there's an option I'm not seeing but since I updated to the new skype preview, I cannot see group conversation pictures for any of the skype groups I'm in. 
    Clicking on the conversation topic loads up the profile for the group, and I can change the picture in there, but it will not display for me (even in the profile window I get the default 'no picture' picture).

    Can we please have the conversation picture visible to all participats of group conversations back?
    And while you're at it, can we have (fubar) and (finger) and (hollest) back too?
    One more thing - can we please have back the ability to adjust the size of the typing box?  There is only one little line there now and one would like to be able to see at least 4 or 5 lines of the message you are typing.
    When you update, the update should improve, not remove.

    CTI OS Server
    CTI Server
    But first take note of the original values (so you can switch back to normal tracing).
    Dump the logs for both the above services: How to Use the Dumplog Utility.
    For instance: dumplog ctisvr /hr 1 /of c:\temp\ctisvr.log

  • Groups are not displaying in the user's member of tab

    We have a issue,
    After mapping any AD  group in CMC,the groups and users are displaying  in the cmc list. but when we go to the properties of the user and member of option ,the groups are not displaying .
    After restarting the CMS every thing works fine.
    Every time after adding a new user we should restart the CMS, it is very difficult for  us as number of users are working on this .
    We are using number of AD groups.
    Is there any resolution for this with out restarting the  CMS.

    The LDAP graph is responsible for showing the membership when viewing the user properties, an issue like this would indicate the graph is not auto updating. It normally builds when starting the CMS then every 15 minutes or so for new users (depending on system activity). It shouldn't lose any info (if it does this indicates a caching or communication problem with AD). There is a graphtimeout setting in the registry (search SAP notes) if this were disabled then it may cause similar symptoms.
    I'm not aware of any bugs in 3.1 causing this behavior so you may need to open a case with support (authentication team) to help troubleshoot.

  • Report deployed to new server does not display static image

    We have several web sites on a server running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, SP1, 64-bit.  It has installed .NET Framework 4 Client Profile and Extended, ver. 4.0.30319 (according to Control Panel->Programs, as well as c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework).  Two of the sites use many Crystal Reports, most of which include a static image as a logo. This image is embedded in each report; there is no stand-alone image file that gets deployed.
    Recently, we migrated to a new server, running the same version of Windows & .NET Framework.  As near as we can tell, the 2 servers are nearly identical, as far as configuration and permissions, etc. One notable exception is the DefaultAppPool, which is Classic on the original server and Integrated on the new. (When I changed the new server to Classic, the apps failed to run properly.)  The other exception is the old server is on a stand-alone box, while the new server is a virtual machine.
    For one of the apps on the new server, the embedded logo images are not displaying on the page.  Instead, there is a little red X with the word "Image".  For the other app on the new server, the reports display fine.  Furthermore, if I copy one of the "broken" rpt files from the "broken" app to the "good" app, the report displays correctly!  And of course, the same file displays correctly in all circumstances on the old server.
    This suggests to me that there is not a problem with the report file, per se', but rather with the environment to which it is deployed.  Permissions?  If so, where?
    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    The search string 'crystal red x net' (search box in top right corner) should return a number of KBAs, docs, blogs, etc. See if any of those help.

  • Distribution group owner field in GAL not displaying for configured owner.

    Quick question: for a configured DG owner to show up in the owner field when the properties are selected via Outlook using the GAL, does the owner need to also be a member of the group for the field to display that person? We have a case here where the owner
    is configured in Exchange, but does not display in Outlook. I checked other groups and when the owner does display in Outlook, the owner is always a member of the group in question also.

    Yet, in Outlook the owner field in the properties of the DG is emtpy. 
    I'm told that she was made manager of the group 18 months ago.
