Routine sample code for reading 2 fields from existing DSO

Hi Gurus,
I am a monkey when it comes to write ABAP code. I have one DSO-A where we store accounting info of purchading (from DS 2lis_02_acc) and one DSO-B getting data from 2lis_02_scl data source.
We need to write a rountine to read DSO-A for G/L account and populate DSO-B G/L account field.
Please provide me the sample code for this.

Create a local table this is type of you source,
Data : LV_table TYPE XXXX
use the select statement to read the table of DSO .You have to use th active table for the dso that you want to read data from.
Select xxxfieldxxx FROM /BIC/A..........50
into lv_table where
filed name of of scheule line probably order no and item no .
<soruce-fields>-IOBELN = IOBELN
and <source-fields>-IOBELP = IOBELP.
Checke the techinal name i am not sure about it. It will be something like that.

Gurus and Experts,
Plain and simple, I need a piece of ABAP code that reads a characteristic value from a different DSO.
Here is the story. I have a data flow from DSO Delivery1 to DSO Delivery2. I need to write a code in the start routine of the transformation to read Sales_Doc_Type from DSO Sales1. The condition is, if Delivery1-Ref_Doc_Nr = Sales1-Sales_Nr then Delivery1-Sales_Doc_Type = Sales1_Sales_Doc_Type.
I am a beginner in SAP BI and know nothing about ABAP. But I do have experience in SQL and Java.
Any help or links or direction will be appriciated. Thanks in advance.

I think there is a correction in your Ques. That there are two DSO Delivery1 and Sales1...... I Hope this is Ok.
Tables Required:---- Go To SE11 and *<DSO_NAME>00 You will get active table for your DSO. EG. /bic/Delivary100 and /bic/sales100
Logic In start Riutine:----
1. Define structure in Global Def. for Sales1 DSO.
2. Also Define Internal table in Global Def. (I hope you know the syntax)
3. now you will find that start writing code from below.
Inclue:------ Select Statement from Slaes1 DSO into itab for all entries in source package.
4. Loop source_package assigning <result_fields>.
read itab into wa where Sales1-Sales_Nr = <result_fields>-Ref_Doc_Nr.
<result_fields>-Sales_Doc_Type = wa-Sales1_Sales_Doc_Type.
endloop.
This logic will work..........

Are there any sample code for an extractor to read in a flat file?
Are there any documentation on custom coding an extractor to dump
information into an info source?
Are there any documentation on the pit falls and contraints using Solution

I forgot to mention that I had also tried just fileObject.read() as well and it didn't work either. It was the same run on sentence result I got with the script I showed above. Seems odd. However, the \r instead of \n did the trick. I had some recollection of another line feed character but couldn't remember what it was, so thanks for that.

Hello Friends. Please help me edit this ABAP code to make it work. I am putting this code in start routine in between two DSO. where I am using the

Hello Wond Thanks for Good Answer and good option, But Client does not like this option and does not like Nav Attribute so he does not want to turn on any Nav Attribute, In general also We hav requirement to read a third table while uploading 1 dso table to 2 dso table,

T-code for delete file from application server

Hi all!
Please, has any t-code for delete file from application server? For upload exist CG3Z, for download has CG3Y. And for delete? Has anyone?
I need to delete file from application server in QA system and i don't want to create a program for this because i will need to transport a request from DEV to QA.

I don't have contact with basis team.
The FM EPS_DELETE_FILE support directory name with max 60 char. My dir. has more than that. I need a transaction for this.
Anybody know if this transaction exist?

Kindly write some sample code for the below Logic.
For a set of Deliveries entered on the selection screen get the relevant data from LIKP & LIPS.
for all the deliveries selected get the sales order data from VBAK & VBAP based on the VGBEL & VGPOS in LIPS.
The Output internal table should contain only deliveries which are created with reference to a sales order.

Sample code for LDAP authentication throwing exception

i got sample code (13kb zip file from
http://java.ittoolbox.com/browse.asp?c=JAVAPeerPublishing&r=%2Fpub%2FBK072703D%2Epdf) having MyCallbackHandler,LdapAuthenticator,SampleLoginModule 2 policy files and config files). i copied and compiled succesfully all java files placing them in bin of j2sdk1.4 . But when i give following command(as told in the pdf article ,url is given above) exception is thrown each time i enter username n password(three trials are allowed by the code)
java -Djava.security.auth.login.config=D:\j2sdk1.4\bin\sample_jaas.config -
Dldap.properties.config=ldap.properties SampleAcn
SampleAcn is also one of the java files i compiled in bin.
i m new to this area . so guide me for following
do i need to do something with the 2 policy files as nothing is told anywhere about there configuration or there configuration is not needed at all.
i havent configured anything on windows 2000 server having active directory except for creating a user named testUser/testPassword as mentioned in code that this is the username/password v can try for succesfull loging thorugh sample.
do i need to cofigure some other things for using LDAP

Deleting a single field from existing Layout - Update

Hi,
We need to amend our custom integrator's layout by removing a field from the layout.
However, in Desktop Integration - "Define Layout" - we do not have any option to delete a field (options are - Move Up/down, Read only, width,Frozen pane)
(Making width - 0 is not solving the purpose since only the field is not visible in layout but mappings remain as is)
Is there any option to remove a single field from integrator layout?
