Routing Issue – Dial number and divert to another

Call Manager Two node Cluster at 9.1.1.20000-5
Unity Connection Two node cluster at 9.1.1.20000-32
PSTN Access = 1 T1 / PRI with h.323 to CUCM
Since 2 months, we raised lots of call from our customers who are misdirected.
Ex : The customer call from the PSTN to our Unity, the customer hear the Menu and Dial the extension of the party he would like to reach ( ex : 5239 ) instead he is transferred to another one ( ex : 5130 )
This issue is random, I was not able to simulate it by myself.
We have that issue between 0 and 5 times a days, this become annoying.
Anyone saw that kind of issue ?

You can prevent both phones ringing by going to Settings > FaceTime and changing "iPhone Cellular Calls" to off on both phones.
That is a new "feature" described in Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity - Apple Support
You may also want to consider using separate Apple IDs. That is a bit more flexible now with new features described in https://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/family-sharing/

Group by Perfromance issue with Number and Varchar2

Hi All,
I got a question on performance on GROUP BY clause.
Group by (Number) and Group by (Varchar2) --> In these 2 versions of Group by will oracle takes into consideration for the data types in the GROUP BY Clause as a performance issue.
I.E. Select sum(sal) from emp group by deptno and Select sum(sal) from emp group by job.
In the first group by we have number and second we got varchar2. So oracle will take the data types also into consideration for performance in the Group by clause.
(Pls dont consider the amount of data in the tables ).

You are asking which way is more efficient?
if someone ask to do a group by using a varchar column. oracle has no other way to do it but by the columns that the developer asks for...

Is there any way i can receive a text from one number and reply to another on the same conversation?

I have a friend who has 2 phone numbers, he sends texts from one and i have to reply to the other one.
Is there any way i can configure the SMS conversation so: it receives texts from his 1st number and when i reply it goes to the 2nd number?

I don't think it is possible to do what your friend is asking.
He would need to call his phone carrier.

X2-02 v11.57 Issue: The number and not the name!

Hello Nokia,
I have a problem with my Nokia X2-02 (firmware v11.57): When receiving a call only number of the caller is displayed and not his name!! I made a hard reset, but the issue remains. This issue did not exist in firmware v10.90.

I have the exact issue on the same phone and same firmware. Nokia suite tells that no upgrade to the firmware is available.
It wouldnt be a problem to add the country code to all my numbers, but my second SIM (SIM2) doesnt add the code to the number when someone calls me, so the phone only resolves the name of my SIM1 contacts, not SIM2 (when recieving calls).
And if I type a number without that code and try to make a call, the name wont be resolved as well.
This problem really is pain

Routing issue with ASA and UC540 phone system - at ASA???

Having an issue with routing from the PC at .242 to the CUE server at 10.1.10.1. The CUE server is built into the UC540 phone system. It is an internal piece of software that is used for voicemail and management. The UC540 is not only a call router, it is also an IOS router. It has it's own WAN connection as does the ASA.
Here are some facts:
1. Can ping the UC540's internal CUE server from the PC ( ping to 10.1.10.1 )
2. Can ping the UC540's VLAN 1 address from the PC ( ping to 10.1.10.1 )
3. The ASA is the default gateway for the PC.
4. I have a route inserted at the asa that is:
               route 10.1.10.1 255.255.255.0 10.19.250.254 1
5. I have a nat statement that prevents NAT from occuring but I don't think this is necessary as the 10.1.10.0/24 network isn't otherwise defined on the      ASA.
6. I cannot pull up a web page when I point the browser on the PC to the 10.1.10.1 address
7. I CAN pull up a web page on the PC when I create a static route on the PC iteslf :
               route add 10.1.10.1 mask 255.255.255.0 10.19.250.254
     Is is only with this route that I am able to get to the web GUI on the phone system.
8. The phone system has a loopback interface at 10.1.10.2 that serves as the gateway for the internal CUE server, the internal CUE server is at      10.1.10.1
9. The switch is a 2960 and has a trunk port to the phone system to allow for the voice vlan which is at 10.1.1.0/24, no issues with this vlan and phones      are connecting to the system fine.
Since I can get the GUI to come up when I set a static route on the PC, then I would assume that the routing in the phone system with it's internal server is fine as it wouldn't work otherwise. Since I can successfully ping the CUE server from the PC, that would lead me to believe that the ASA's routing is setup correctly..... TCP traffic doesn't seem to get to/from the CUE server.

Where you able to solve this problem? It does sound like an issue with TCP state checking on the ASA. The Firewall needs to see both sides of the traffic but the return traffic is going from your UC540 direct to the PC. The firewall essentially kills the traffic.
I would recommend disabling TCP state checking on the ASA and see if it works. Otherwise, you will need to stub route the UC540 as a separate VLAN off the ASA which needs to route through the ASA to reach the PC.

UCM Routing Client doesn't appear when configuring a Dialed Number in Configuration manager

I am implementing a UCCE system version 9.0
When I am trying to configure a Dialed Number in Configuration Manager, the Routing Client field is empty, it doesn't show the UCM option.
Kindly can someone help me on this issue, what should I check? is there something missing in the configuration?...

ICM Config Manager > Tools > Explorer Tools > PG Explorer
Do you see a PG and PG Peripheral for UCM? If so, select the Peripheral and go to the Routing Client tab. I've attached a picture of what a healthy functioning PG and PG Peripheral would look like from the Routing Client perspective.

If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

We have 2 different scenarios where you can post a goods issue to Subcontract Venodrs.
Scenarios 1: You can post the goods issue against a subcontrac vendor with out referencing the Subcon PO from ME2O, at this stage we will be knowing what is the stock at subcontract vendor but we will not be knowing the issues against which and how much Quantities are posted.
So when we are post goods receipt, then we will come to know the consuption quantities.
Scenario: 2, If we use the delivery concept then we can track the goods issues against the subcon POs.
If you really keen to track the material issued to Subcon vendor against a PO so better use with delivery.

Internal DNS server and NAT routing issue.

Hi -- I am not terribly experienced with DNS and I am running into an issue that I can't seem to resolve. My company.com DNS information is hosted by an outside ISP for email, web, etc... but I have configured an A record there to point to the public IP to my mac os x server (server.company.com).
We have a cisco router configured with one to one NAT from the public IP to the internal IP for our server in a 192.168.15.x subnet. The same router is running DHCP and and NAT on that subnet under a different public IP provided by our ISP.
Our server is running DNS with recursion and has a "company.private" zone set up for internal services and machine names. Thus, the server is accessible via "server.company.com" from the outside and "server.company.private" from the private LAN.
The problem is that I would like to be able to access some services simply via "server.company.com" both inside and outside the private network. Now, accessing the "server.company.com" services from the private lan does not work because the name resolves to the external IP and the external IP cannot be used internally due to NAT.
Is there a way to configure my internal DNS server to respond with the appropriate private address when receiving a query only to "server.company.com" and forward requests on for anything else on "company.com"?
I know that I could manually duplicate all entries for our domain from my ISP and host the same entries for internal clients, but it would be much easier to only have our server handle requests for itself. The server is running OS X Server 10.4.11.

Ordinarily, no. Once your server thinks it is responsible for a zone (e.g. company.com) then it will answer all queries for that domain and never pass them upstream. Therefore you'd have to replicate all the zone data, including all the public records, and maintain them both.
The one possible exception to this (I haven't tried) is to create a zone for server.company.com that has your internal address. In theory (like I said, I haven't tried this), the server should respond to 'server.company.com' lookups with its own zone data and defer all other lookups (including other company.com names since they're not in a zone it controls). Might be worth trying.

I think the app GroupMe might do what you want. You might also try contacting your carrier. My carrier offered some fancy group texting service for a while but they never really advertised it so, unless you asked, you never would have known. But, GroupMe is available in the app store. There are lots of other apps that also do group texting but it seems to be the one that gets recommended the most.
