Routing Sequence Selection

Dear all,
I have a routing with an alternative sequence created.
I would like to be able to select the sequence of the operation while confirming (CO11n) and not while creating the production order.
Kindly let me know what's the possibility of that.
in Co11n, when I write operation 0010 and sequence 1 instead of 0 it says "Sequence 1 not defined in order xxxxx, check entry"

Maybe you can tell me what's the best practise for this case
I have 2 work centers
FUR11
FUR33
each has different capacity, during the production order, we can work on FUR11 for sometime then shift to FUR33, and it's not a must that this happens. However, I want to be able to confirm the ACTUAL time occuring on any of them. I thought about alternative but in this case I have to know from the begining which alternative I'll be using during the creation of the production order and this is not valid in our case.
What do you suggest?
I was thinking of making them parallel sequences.

  • Sequence Selection in Production Order

    Hi All,
    I am having following problem related to the sequence selected in production order...
    In my scenario there are multiple sequences in a routing for a material.In the production Order Type I have made setting of manual selection of sequence while creation of production order.When I create production order the system ask for selection of the alternate sequence and after selecting the alternate sequence the system copies all the data related to that sequence <b>But</b> when I go and see the operation overview the system still displays the standard sequence. How can I correct this problem because when I am doing confirmation the system throws error message than the standard sequence 0 does not exist.
    Please help me correct this problem.

    Hi,
    As i have mentioned the system is asking me select alternate sequence it means that the tick is there.
    Please lemme know why the system is displaying the standard sequenec in operation overview though all the details related to operation are of alternate sequence.

  • MFBF and Alternative Routing Sequence

    Hi;
    We are using REM in PP.We confirm via MFBF. And we create routings via ca01. I want to use alternative routing sequence during confirmation.
    What should I do? or Is it possible for REM?
    Thanks.

    Hi;
    Thanks for your answers. I dont want to create new production versions. But routing informations are change.
    Ex: I have two machines in a production line, lets say it A and B. This line has a work center code in SAP ( lets says Line1)
    When I use only machine A I produce 100 pieces in 5 minutes with 2 worker. But when I use A & B at the same time I produce 100 pieces in 3 minutes with 3 worker.
    Machine A and B are connected to the same conveyor belt, so I put the pieces in the same palette. And during confirmation I use Line1 as workcenter.
    What should I do to post the exact activities ?
    Thanks for your information.

  • How BOM and routing is selected for Planned order and Production order?

    Hi,
    Can any1 plz tell me how BOM and routing is selected for a planned order and production order. ?

    Hello Mathisuthan,
    BOM and Routing selection for the planned order and production order through production version, If u have more than one BOM and more than one Routing then u can maintain this information as Production Version in the system.
    Production version you maintained
    MM01/MM02 -- MRP4--- Production version
    Or you can create Production Versions in Mass also with Transaction Code "C223"
    In the case no production version maintained/created  for the material, then system by default  will pick the first BOM and routing.
    I hope this information helpful to you.

  • How to create parallel routing sequence

    how to create parallel routing sequence?
    we have routings 3010 ,3020 ,3030 and 3040.
    but 3010,3020 and 3030 operationwise shop list to be released at one time becuse they all are parallel operations.
    after 3010,3020 and 3030 operations 3040 is a sequencial operation.
    please do explain the process how to create parallel routing sequence in this case
    and confirmation of operations
    thanking you
    srinivas

    Srinivas,
    i think you are looking at an option were in you can confirm or do goods Issue for the order. If that was the requirement, then the control is in customizing transaction "OPK4".
    Here in this transaction you need to define "operation sequence is not checked" for the plant/order type combination.
    Hope this helps....Please let me know if your need is something else,

  • Sequence selection in Rate Routing

    hi,
    In Normal Routing in sequence overview  - extras - new entries we can find the option of creating a Parallel or Alt sequence, but in Rate routing there is no way to select the type of Sequence. It by default shows Parallel sequence.
    Pl. let me know the step by step proceduer to create a Alternate sequence in Rate routing.
    regards

    Dear Rishi,
    We cant create any alternative sequence for a rate routing.This is one of the difference between routing and rate routing.
    Rate routing supports only standard and parallel sequence.
    If alternative sequence is present in a routing,then at the time of order creation the system gives a pop to select for alternative
    sequence or to skip it and proceed.
    For this under OPL8,for plant order type combination the field sequence exchange should be having value 2 - manual selection.
    Creating production version or sequence in my understanding depends on the business requirement.
    Check and revert

  • How do you route sequencer material to different ports in Audition 3?

    "Durin" from Adobe wrote:-
    "This first implementation is limited to one global MIDI port. Each channel is broadcast on all ports enabled in the hardware preference manager. This was not our preferred behavior, and is one we intend to address in the next release.
    The short explanation comes down to time and choosing which features were prioritized over others. As our goal with this release was not to create a full-featured MIDI editor but a VSTi-based sequencer with basic MIDI support for controllers and keyboards, some of the more advanced features MIDI offers had to be deferred in favor of ensuring our VSTi support was solid and robust.
    I've already written up feature designs to implement multiple ports, sophisticated hardware routing and assignments, and full SYSEX and Patch support, and it's my hope that our next release can continue to beef this sequencer up and make it as valuable as the rest of the application. If you have suggestions or a wishlist of features you'd like to see, please share them either in the forums or privately to [email protected] "

    Hi Kevin
    Not sure about the Source selected VRF feature, But still you can try if it work then ok or else you can go with the below solution for traffic coming from data center to VRF.
    You need to add two routes.
    @ You need to add static router fro VRF network to Data center network
    i.e. ip route vrf (voice- VRF ) 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 (Gateway) global
    @ You need to add static route for VRF network in the global routing table pointing to the interface connected to VRF.
    i.e  ip route (VRF network ) (VRF subnet mask ) (Gateway Address that’s connect all VRF)
    So when traffic is coming from Data Center till will be pointed towards the interface were all VRF is connected & they will communicate & when reverse traffic will come from VRF they will reach to Data Center router & use VRF global route to reach data Center network.
    (You can refer the configuration of PE-2 of document that shared earlier)

  • I have an image sequence in JPG and when I select open image sequence, select all does not work and I can only highlight one frame at a time.  I want to import these frames into QT7 to make a time lapse clip.  Any suggestions

    I have an image sequence in JPG that I want to import into quitck time 7 for making a time lapse clip.   It has an option to open the image sequence, but when I do, it only lets me highlight one frame at a time.  The select all option seems to do nothing when I click on it trying to highlight all the frames.
          If QT7 is not designed to perform this function, is there another alternative?   iMovie is non intuitive for this kind of operation and I cannot find a clear tutorial for using it to make time lapse clips from a sequence of still frames.
           The tutorials Ive found on YouTube are well intended, but they all seem to leave out a vital step that eludes detection.
      Anyway, any help appreciated.
    Thanks
       I am new to this forum and I'm not sure I can locate this thread again once I'm out of it.
    <Email Edited by Host>

      Yes, I tried that.   The files were ordered by their original numbers as imported from the camera, but I batched them through Phocoshop to downsize all of them into a more manageable file size.   I opened that destination folder from quick time  from where it said select image sequence.   I clicked on the first one and opened it.   The result was a large image with an arrow indicating a movie was ready to go.   When I pressed the arrow, though, I realized it had only imported that one frame so there was no movie.   The files are Jpgs and are about 450 KB each.
        To your knowledge are there any links to iMovie tutorials or quick time tutorials that may address this situation?  Maybe there will be one I haven't looked at yet.
        Thanks

  • Parallel routing / sequence

    Hi Experts,
    I have issue in routing as follows:
    I have five operation in a routing as A,B,C,D,E. In every operation I have some component allocation.
    Now operation B,C,D is a common operation but components to be allocated is different as per left side and right side of the product.
    So How should I map these oerations B,C,D with different components allocation in a single routing.
    Should I use parallel sequence or is there anything like parallel routing also. Please tell me the steps to create the routing with parallel sequences and parallel routing with effects of that after MRP run also.
    Waiting for the valuable guidance.
    Regards
    Deepak Sharma

    Hi,
      In this case, for the operations B,C,D allocating components differently is not possible in the same routing. Because if the components are aligned to left or right as mentioned, there may be change in the product which in case has to be maintaned in different routings with different material numbers.
        If not create routing for the same material with group counter 1 and 2, and create production versions and pick the desired ones after Production order creation.
        Hope this gives you an idea...

  • SEQUENCE Select within an SQL Query with an ORDER BY statement

    Does anyone know why you cannot use an ORDER BY statement within an SQL query when also selecting from a SEQUENCE? My query was selecting production data as a result of a filtered search. I want to take the results of the filtered search and create a transaction. I have a sequence for generating transaction numbers where I select NEXTVAL. Since I could possibly obtain multiple, yet distinct, rows based upon my search criteria, I wanted to use an ORDER BY statement to simplify and order the resulting row(s).
    I was able to get the SQL select with SEQUENCE.NEXTVAL to work without the ORDER BY, so I know that my SQL is correct. Thanks in-advance.

    Okay,
    I understand. You want the sequence assigned first and the you want to ORDER BY. You
    can do this using pipelined functions. See here:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE emp_rec_seq AS OBJECT (
       seq     NUMBER,
       ename   VARCHAR2 (20),
       job     VARCHAR2 (20),
       sal     NUMBER
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE emp_tab_seq AS TABLE OF emp_rec_seq;
    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION get_emp_with_sequence
       RETURN emp_tab_seq PIPELINED
    IS
       my_record   emp_rec_seq := emp_rec_seq (NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL);
    BEGIN
       FOR c IN (SELECT dummy.NEXTVAL seq, ename, job, sal
                   FROM emp)
       LOOP
          my_record.seq := c.seq;
          my_record.ename := c.ename;
          my_record.job := c.job;
          my_record.sal := c.sal;
          PIPE ROW (my_record);
       END LOOP;
       RETURN;
    END get_emp_with_sequence;after that, you can do a select like this:
    SELECT seq, ename, job, sal
      FROM TABLE (get_emp_with_sequence)
      order by enamewhich will get you this:
           SEQ ENAME                JOB                         SAL

  • Routing-Sequences Error in co11n

    Dear all,
    Can any one please share the screen shots how to process the sequences in routing
    I have tried by using help portal but i dint get any differences on that.
    While confirming in co11n,that particular sequences also not get displayed in sequence column.
    Regards
    Rajasekaran

    Dear Raja Sekaran,
    Check this link to understand more about alternative and parallel sequences.
    Why Rate Routing is (recommended) used in Repetitive Manufacturing?
    Alternative sequence of operation can be created only through routing and when it comes to production
    order you can copy either the standard sequence or the alternative sequence of operation.
    During production order confirmation in CO11N,in the F4 option you can see the entire list of operation
    along with the sequence.
    First ensure you have parallel sequence of operation exists in the routing level and then the same gets
    copied to the production order and at the time of confirmation you can see the list display.
    Check and come back.

          please give me solution for my problem

    Hi Guna,
    In ur case while creating prod order system could not  not find any valid routing.
    Please check routing validity, lotsize, usage, status with erspect to order qty and date.
    If u create order without routing u have to maintain  "default values for the generation of operations for order type  in plant " at  OPJG
    Thatz why you are getting error message.
    Please check and comeback

  • Routing sequences; what's the maximum?

    Using the N type routing and Parallel sequences in SAP (Thru CA01), I see from the data element that we have 6 digit number for sequence (PLNFOLGE) ... Meaning that we can technically have a maximum of 9999999 sequence number in a routing.
    Have someone experienced a limit below this? (Is this the real limit???)
    It's kinnda hard to test unless creating a lot of sequences...
    Best regards!

    Hello, I've got a 250Gig hard drive waiting to go in my G4 Dual 867.
    I'd like to sit it next to the original 60Gig drive that came with the Mac.
    Can anyone point me to a diagram showing how to access the bay? It looks a bit fiddly.
    Thanks.

  • EIGRP vs BGP route path selection scenario

    I am looking for a routing solution to the following scenario.  It is a fairly simple design.
    I have two WAN connections between sites A and B.  One is a 20 Meg Metro Ethernet Circuit running EIGRP.  The other is a 10 Meg MPLS running BGP.  What do I need to do in my configuration to make sure that the 20 Meg connection is the chosen path based off the fact that it has better speed and bandwidth?  It appears to me that the MPLS is the preferred path even though it is slower.

    If each router is receiving advertisements for the same networks/subnet masks from both BGP and EIGRP it will always choose the BGP routes because they have a lower AD ie. 20 vs EIGRP 90.
    Doesn't matter what the bandwidth is.
    If you want to prefer the 20Mbps links then there are a number of options -
    1) if you can summarise each sites subnets then advertise the summary via BGP and the more specific via EIGRP.  More specific will be chosen even before AD is taken into account.
    2) change the AD of either BGP or EIGRP so EIGRP ends up with the lower AD
    3) run BGP on both links although you would still need to manipulate the attributes to make sure the link you want is used.
