Row doesn't format properly in Pages

I'm new to Pages. I've got an issue with a 1-row table (3 columns). The row is half way down the page, but the content in each column is only a few lines! I've tried "fit height to content"...I've made sure there aren't any spaces or other random characters below the text in each column. Nothing works. I just have this ridiculously long tall row in the table.
While I'm at it - I want this table in the header...seems you can't do that either?

Seems like some sort of bug that you'll just have to work around.
While I'm at it - I want this table in the header...seems you can't do that either?
No not possible in Pages 5. What do you want to do that for anyway? It already is divided into 3.

Alignment guides doesn't work properly in Pages and Tables

Drag out a horizontal and vertical guide and align the center of a square to them. When you zoom in to 400%, you can see, that the object doesn't align properly. The guides should divide the square in to 4 equal sized small squares. But they don't!!!

Not sure if this is the same issue as listed above, but I've had continuing issues with dragging currently playing songs into playlists. It shifts the Spotify window to the lower part of my screen. Always. In order for this NOT to happen, I have to click on the song title (currently playing) - and then click and drag it to my playlist. It's almost like Spotify thinks I want to drag and drop the song to my desktop. It's really really really annoying. Another issue I've been having is when I drag the song, the whole Spotify window freezes momentarily (sometimes longer). What's going on? There are regular updates yet neither of these issues have been addressed. Front Row doesn't work properly in OSX 10.5

I'm having a problem with Front Row not working properly in OSX 10.5
iPhoto transitions aren't working properly in the slide shows, My monitor keeps turning off,
I have a KDS 17" LCD monitor.
Also iMovie will show movies with big blank gaps in the video,
Yet iPhoto and iMovie will run fine using OSX 10.4.10
The other iApps of iLife 08 appear to be alright so far.
Is there a fix coming?

Figured it out...
The "Front Row" settings were set for a screensaver, That's why the monitor kept blanking out,
I've turned off the screensaver in the settings and "Front Row" works fine now.
There is no screensaver image chosen, That's why the screen kept going blank or even off.
Hope this helps others.

The first page doesn't open properly

When I updated Fireforx to the 5th version, it now doesn't work properly. To open th1st page it takes ages and then the small window comes out with the message that scenario: chrome:/tavgp/content/libs/include/js:595 is busy or doesn't answer, then I close this window and the page opens.

The external DVD/CD Writer will Not appear on your desktop when you attach it to your iMac. It will appear in "Finder", which is in your Dock.

I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now.

How can I force Firefox to properly format all html pages to a pdf without losing top and right hand margins?

Setting up page printout format for pdf on a Mac OS/X Snow Leopard Mac Pro. Printer is HP 8500A OfficeJet Pro Plus bought after July 14, 2011 serial number- CN141CK7QM
When I print to file as a pdf I am getting the first page correctly but subsequent pages are getting clipped along the top and the right margins.
I don't have this problem with my IBook 4.0
The issue is formatting an html page to a pdf when the print request is asking for a pdf or when the print request is to the printer.
The url to my HP Office jet Pro 8500A Plus is:

I have a IBook G4 and I do not have any of this problem.
I have specified a default paper size of "USLetter".
This printing issue is a new one that occurred since I started the Firefox updates after Firefox 6.0 series.
I am checking with HP on this issue. Prior to the HP8500A (installed in July 2011) I did have a HP6180 Officejet for several years without encountering such a conflict.
So my second question is; Are there Firefox printing conflicts with the HP 8500A printers?

Filemaker exported Excel doesn't open properly

I've got a Filemaker database that I "Export Records" or "Save Send Records As" data in Excel format. When i open the file in Excel it is all correct, but when I open the xls file in Numbers 2.0.3 it doesn't open properly. You can see the discrepancies in these 2 screenshots.
First the Excel file , beside it is the Numbers rendering of the same file. You can see around A:16 it goes off, again at A:25 and then some repeating at the end to fill up the row. Column B however is correct in Numbers.

The strange thing is if I save the Excel file then it opens in Numbers correctly. If I export as CSV it opens in Numbers correctly.

Thinking it's a FMPro issue (I have posted this in the bugs forum at FM.com) I've repeated this experiment with the data records sorted differently (to see if it's any particular record that is the problem). The export still is wrong when opened in Numbers, the mistakes appear to be in the same rows, i.e., row 16, row25, etc.,

Numbers can store pdfs pages or clippings but does not directly open pdf files. To get the bank statement into Numbers as a table I would open the bank statment in Preview (or Skim) or some pdf viewer.
Then hold the option key while selecting a column of data.
Then copy
Then switch to numbers and paste the column into a table
Then repeat for the other columns in the pdf document
It would be easier (in my opinion) to download the QFX or CSV version from your bank

Phone numbers not formatting properly

I just got a new iPhone 4S. The numbers in my address book don't seem to be formatting properly. They just have a string of numbers, e.g.., 6025551212, rather than the normal format of area code in parentheses and a hyphen in the number.
This goes beyond aesthetics. The phone doesn't match numbers, so my recent calls list and my SMS history don't have names associated, even though almost all of the numbers are in my address book.
Here is some more information: I just got the iPhone 4S today, and I plugged it into my Mac and chose to do a restore from backup. I selected today's backup of my old iPhone 3GS. Everything else went smoothly. (note that the number didn't transfer... this is a totally new phone number on a totally new account.)
Even more information that might help in troubleshooting this: when I go into Settings --> Phone, it shows my number formatted in the way I described above (e.g., 4805551212). But here's the weird thing -- I can't edit that! There is no rightward-facing arrow that indicates you can click on it, and repeated clicks don't do anything. On my iPhone 3GS (which formats its number correctly), I can go in there and edit it.
I should also mention that this is a U.S. phone with a U.S. number on a U.S. carrier (Verizon), and most of the numbers in the address book are U.S. numbers. So there aren't any strange international issues going on. I have searched through the settings and U.S. is selected for all of the international settings I can find.
Finally, this is a phone issued by my company, and the IT person opened the box, "provisioned it," added it to the corporate account, got a new number assigned to it, etc... Does that have anything to do with it?

This seems to only affect Verizon devices. If you are not using Verizon, this fix will not work for you.
Here is the summary of the steps I took to correct the issue:
1) Open the Phone and dial *228. This is a Verizon over-the-air programming number.
2) When the system answer press 1 for "Program or activate your phone"
3) Wait for the call to disconnect. You should get a prompt stating something like, "Settings updated."
4) Open the Task Manager and kill the Phone, Message, and Contacts Applications
5) Wait a few minutes (I waited 3 just to be extra safe)
6) Open the Message App to verify the fix.
If you are still broken, kill the Message App again, then reboot your phone.

I understand you are no longer able to print with the P1006 on Win8.1.
Did you uninstall the P1006 first?
If not uninstall and reinstall the printer software again.
Both drivers are the same if you look at the version on the website and should still work with the Win8.1.

I just save the dom example a spin and it worked OK for me. RU using the latest service pack? Does the dom.ear build correctly and deploy on the server without errors? Can U see the webservice test page from http://localhost:7001/dom/EchoDomService ?

The header photos on each page of my website are not formatting properly in Mozilla. The photos appear to the right side of the website and you have to scroll over to see them. I just upgraded to dreamweaver cs5.5 and widget doesn't load properly ?

I just upgraded to dreamweaver cs5.5 and the spry lightbox gallery widget doesn't load properly ? I drag and drop in design view. All my other adobe programmes are still cs3 flash photoshop etc is this why or what am I doing wrong as all i get on the page is a set of images vertically from the gallery template and no gallery layout? Can anyone help?
