RoxMediaDB9 Module has Stopped working

This happens to me constantly when I try to use Roxio Media Manager to transfer files to my 8 hour old Storm. It worked once when I was transfering music. I've tried everything I can think of including un-installing re-installing and so on. I have no idea what's going and there doesn't seem to be anyone here with the same problem. Can anyone offer some insight??
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi
Please try these steps given below and see it this fixes your issue.
In Windows 8.1
1.  Search for "Device Manager".
2.  Click on "Display adapters" to open the dropdown.
3.  Write down the name of the driver you have so that you know what it is that you want to reinstall.
4..  Right Click on the misbehaving driver and select uninstall.
5.  Allow the wizard to uninstall the driver.
6.  Restart the computer.
Check it is uninstalled:-
7.  Follow actions 1 and 2 again and check that the driver is called something like Windows generic driver.
To reinstall a driver from the intel site:-
8.  Go online to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx?lang=eng  (change the language in the top right corner if English isn't what you need)
9.  Go to the "Find by Category" section (in the middle of the page somewhere)
10.  Select "Graphics Drivers" in the first box
11.  Select "Laptop graphics drivers" (or as appropriate for your computer) in the second box.
12.  Select the appropriate chip /driver combination for your computer in the third box
13.  Click find.
14.  Now select the right package for your operating system (note the difference between 32 and 64bit versions)
15.  Now select the .exe file (which is the option for end users)
16.  Choose to accept the licence agreement (if you do)
17.  Follow the instructions.
18.  Restart.
Let us know how it goes!

  • ITunes Helper Module has stopped working

I just downloaded the new version of iTunes and now iTunes and Quicktime wont open at all. When I click on iTunes or when I first turn the computer on, a window pops up that says the iTunes Helper module has stopped working. Then another window pops up right after that says "iTunes has stopped working". It checks for a solution to the problem and then says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." When I try to open QuickTime, it says "Runtime error! Program:C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QuickTime Player.exe This application has requested the RunTime to terminate it in an unusual way." I have Vista which seems to cause problems with the firewall and iTuens, so I turned off the firewall from my security software, switched on the windows firewall, and made sure the settings were right. I even tried doing a System restore to the previous version (same problems) and then tried reinstalling the new version (Still same problems). Anyone have any suggestions?!?!

    hey stess,
I have the exact problem you have. I tried deleting (went into program files and deleted the folders ) from my system and reinstalling it. It worked until i rebooted my system, I am still on xp. The restore doesnt help either. It cant be my ipod ( its quiet old!) as it isnt even connected to my system at start up. I think maybe a bug with the new version that will eventually have more and more users affected when they update. I f i find a solution I will post asap... good luck

I have downloaded and install ed the 09/10/08 Intel Driver from the Toshiba download.
What is the problem and how can i fix it. It has been present since i bought the machine.

    Hello
The fact is that all drivers, tools and utilities must be installed in the right and defined order. Toshiba people do exactly the same and later made recovery image. For your own installation the principle is the same. All offered stuff on Toshiba support and download page should be installed following Installations Instructions document.
Unfortunately this document is not available for this Portege. So, try please to install and configure Vista following this installations order:

  • Pressing FN+F5 message: IGFXEXT module has stopped working

Pressing FN+F5 message: IGFXEXT module has stopped working
    I am using Vista
    Model - Portege M700

With FN+F5 you can switch between the monitors.
The igfxext.ext belongs to the Intel common user interface and its stored in the path %system%\igfxext.exe.
So in your case I would try to update the display driver. I think this causes the error.
You can find it on the Toshiba website:

  • Pwmif64v.dll PC-Doctor Module has stopped working

Hey everyone, I have a W510 4318CTO (still under warranty) and have recently I've been getting this PC-Doctor Module crash message every time I come home from work.  Doesn't seem to matter if I've recently rebooted the machine or not, but it comes up constantly and checking for a solution comes up with nothing.  From what I can tell, this dll is a Lenovo dll, found under "C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities".  Is anyone else having these problems? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Seems to me this is a link library that is part of the Lenovo Power Manager group. I would suggest initially uninstalling the Lenovo Power Manager application, and then reinstall it with the latest version:
    Power Manager v6.32 for W510
If that does not work, then uninstall it again, and also uninstall the Thinkpad Power Management Driver, and other Lenovo-based power management drivers/utilities, and then reinstall them. You can do this by going to the Lenovo support pages, and heading to the Drivers & Software section.

  • "ServiceLayer Module has stopped working" in Vista

    Hi all
My PC Suite was working just fine until recently when this error message repeatedly pops up - "ServiceLayer Module has stopped working". The only way to stop it is to terminate the PC Suite in processes on the Windows Task Manager.
I have uninstalled PC Suite, deleted all Nokia entries and then re-installed PC Suite, with the old version I had stored on my HDD and the new version downloaded from this website, but still no success.
Does anyone have any idea what is going wrong with my installation? Nothing else has any problems, Vista is working like a peach, but for some reason PC Suite has just given up!
    Solved!

  • Error Message "iTuneshelper Module has stopped working"

I downloaded and installed iTunes 7.3.1.3 this morning and am unable to start iTunes. Every time I try, I get the above mentioned error message.
HP a1720n Intel Core 2   Windows Vista

I've just downloaded and installed the very latest drivers from AMD and installed them.  Still, I get the "clc.exe has stopped working" errors when I launch PS.  I do not get this, or any other errors, when opening or running any other programs, and have never once gotten a blue screen or had any failures in this system for the two or three years it's been running.
While it's remotely possible that there is some error in AMD's latest (and previous) drivers for this video card, what seems to fit the symptoms I have, is that there is some problem in Adobe's code.
Previous versions of Photoshop open and run fine on this system.  Other CAD and graphics programs run fine, too, with no crashes, lockups, or failures.
Still, if there's something else that needs to be updated for my video system, to make the Adobe errors go away, I'm open to do whatever updates are necessary.  I'm running an AMD Radeon HD 5700 series display adapter, driver date 11/20/2014, version 14.501.1003.0.  Device manager says the device is working properly (for whatever that's worth).
The computer is running Win 7 64 bit ultimate.  Processor is AMD Phenom II X6 1090T six-core processor.  All has been running flawlessly for several years, and continues to do so with every application except Adobe Photoshop 14.501.1003.0.

  • Igfxtray module has stopped working

The above message occurs at system start-up every time.  Intel advise that because a tailored device driver is used, they cannot help.

Hi: Below is the link to the support home page for your model. http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-15-p100-Notebook-PC-series/7234915/model/7547502 I recommend you install the latest graphics driver directly from Intel and see if that resolves the problem you are having. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24964/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit The second file listed is the auto install file.

  • ITunes has Stopped Working in Vista

Browsing this forum, I see quite a few people are having trouble with the newest version of iTunes.
Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 7.5 a few weeks ago on my 32-bit Vista Ultimate, the program will no longer run. When I try to start iTunes, I get a message saying "iTunes has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem." Also, whenever I start up Windows, I get a similar message saying "iTunesHelper Module has stopped working."
When I tell Windows to check online for a solution, it just gives me a page telling me there's a newer version of iTunes, but it is the newest version that I'm trying to run.
    Any thoughts?

This solution has worked on one of my 4 computers so I can't guarantee but it might be worth a try.
Uninstall Itunes and Quicktime. Reboot your computer
    Empty out the recycle bin
Use Search to locate any and all files and folders that reference itunes or quick time. Of course do not touch your music folder.
Delete all these references to itunes and quick time.
    Reboot.
Download a standalone version of Quick time and install.
Download Itunes (I used version 7.4.1 that I obtained from Oldapps.com.)
Once this was done I was able to run itunes on my laptop. I did upgrade to 7.5 but I could not get my sons nano 8GB to sync so I reverted back to 7.4.1 and it works just fine.
I have yet to get itunes working on My wifes vista laptop and it quit working on my XP desktop some time ago (I have never used it and wouldn't care except my son just bought the nano) Itunes a version prior to 7.4 was running on my sons laptop until he upgrade to 7.5 when he bought the nano, just last Friday, and 7.5 totally borked things up. Aside note is that his hard drive crashed a day later, but I don't think that had anything to do with it.
If you read through this board you will find that itunes and windows are not getting along well at all. If you have a "new" ipod be it nano, classic or what ever I beleive you must use version 7.4 or newer. It seems to me that if Apple really wants floks to buy these things they should be sure the primary piece of software is stable and works!

  • Firefox just updated to itself and now I am getting a "SystemK has stopped working". Running windows Vista on a HP Pavillion.

Firefox update on Nov 6th at 6:32pm to 33.0.3 (20141105223254) and since I've been getting a Micro Soft Windows system message saying "SystemK Module has stopped working". It appears to be generated from Firefox. I am running a HP Pavilion DV6748US with Windows Vista that is current on pushes from Micro Soft. I also run a current and updated version of Norton antivirus. Please provide direction to fix this error and if it is not affiliated with Firefox please indicate so. Thank you.

Hi dtenholder, I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with the new update. I believe a while back I had a similar problem. At the time I didn't know what to do.
So just to make sure we are on the same page, when you click on Firefox you computer then has a popup box saying "SystemK Module has stopped working". If so I know how to fix this.
What you are going to need to do is remove Firefox from your computer. First you are going to want to uninstall Firefox. Next you are going to want to delete the Firefox installation folder (located in one of these folders by default):
    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
After that download and instal a new copy of Firefox. Some good news is that a clean install will not delete your bookmarks, saved passwords, add-ons or other personal information. If you need any new information you can [http://mzl.la/1qP0CYM click here] .
Hope this helps. If you need any more information or this does not work for you please let me know.
