RPD having errors if its saved in 11.1.1.6

Hi All,
I am facing a weird issue. If I copy the RPD for first time and click on check global constitiency then it shows 16 warnings and no errors and now after that I just click on save to save the rpd without doing any modification then save it, it shows 42 errors.The joins which were not even touched they have got modified that's why errors are coming.Has anyone faced this issue and is there any resolution for it.

I copied the RPD from APPLTOP to BI Admin reposiory location. I did some changes and checked global consitency it had warnings but when I clciked on saved it again asked for global consustency check which I said yes then it showed 42 errors.All the errors were on time dimension which I didn't even touched. Just to make sure that my changes were not resulting in the above errors I copied the RPD again from APPLTOP and clicked on global consistency check .It showed warnings.Now I clcik on save and check global consistency it had 42 errors and these errors were same which I got after I did modifications to the RPD.I am not getting why on clciking save the join conditions are removing.i am not doing upgrade from 10g to 116.I am taking 11.1.1.6 rpd from qappltop and copying it to bi admin repsoitory location.

Error Message When Saving Software Sim in Cp4

Hello Everyone
I am having an issue with saving a software simulation in Captivate 4. Once I stop recording, by pressing 'End', I get the message "Error encountered while copying audio stream". This happens regardless if I have recorded a narration track or not.
The PC I am using is running Windows Vista Ultimate (Service Pack 2).

bc_aftersave.htm is a file that lies within Dreamweaver's Configuration Commands. Usually is required when working with Business Catalyst.
The error you see may be caused due to a faulty file.
I'm attaching the file at fault - 'bc_aftersave.htm' in this thread. Download and restore it to the following folder:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS6\<language>\Configuration\Commands
Locate the file bc_aftersave.htm, replace that file with the one I'm attaching here to see if it solves the issue.

This error message comes up every time I try to save a scanned document to my mac 10.9 .4 . I have reset the software for my HP C5180.All in one. I have not had te problem before, just recently following some upgrades ....any suggestions how to fix this, on reading forums it seems its a common problem.. not good .

I understand that you cannot scan with your HP Photosmart c5180 on Mac 10.9.4. I am happy to help you with this scanning issue!
Please try the following:
Reset the printing system. OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system.
Verify and repair disk permissions. Disk Utility 12.x: Repair disk permissions.

Error occured while saving ume properties

Hi All,
We have installed SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 central instance(ABAP+JAVA)
I logged into Enterprise Portal using J2EE_ADMIN user.
I am trying to change properties in System Administration --> System configuration --> UME Configuration --> ABAP System.
I changed properties then i clicked on 'Saved All changes' button. I am getting following error.
"An error occured while saving UME Properties. contact your system administrator'
I want solution to move forward.

Hi Phanikumar.
Please check whether J2EE_ADMIN is having super administrator role in portal or not.
If you have assigned system administration role directly then it might be the case.
You can try with config tool if still you are getting the problem in the portal

JRE Installation in directory having space in its name.

I have installed JRE in a directory say /proj/pmcfg/akostha/USM 0.5.15.2/jre1.3/
when i cun java from /proj/pmcfg/akostha/test dir/jre1.3/bin directory..it says
grep: can't open /proj/pmcfg/akostha/USM
grep: can't open 0.5.15.2/jre1.3/bin/./../lib/jvm.cfg
and when i run
"/proj/pmcfg/akostha/USM 0.5.15.2/jre1.3/bin/java" from other directory
it says
Error: can't find libjava.so.
what is the reason..If it is not recommended to install JRE in a directory having space in its name.
or else what is the work around.I'm using SunOS5.6. Saprc

I'm not sure about Solaris, and my proposal might also only work for some shells, but with bash under linux, you have to escape spaces that appear in file/diretory names, so instead of saying "my directory", you have to say "my\ directory" (without quotes).
Or try maybe "my directory" (with quotes) - that would be teh M$ way to do it.

yes i know its alot of steps but if you do them right it will work.
1.remove all active versions of itunes
2.then restart as it asks you to do, if it doesnt ask do it your self
3.unplug ipod
4.remove ipod software
5. restart
6.install the cd the ipod came w/
7.when it asks you if you want to upgrade itunes say yes
8.download the file
9.intall the newest version
10.restart
if you have done exactly these steps(exactly in this order)then itunes should be working now

Expanding and clarifying what BJD said;
After you create the temporary sub-VI that BJD mentioned, open its front panel and copy the reference control that LV created when it created the sub-VI.
This reference control will be correct class etc that you need. Use the control to replace the original control that you were attempting to wire up.
The technique of "create sub-VI...copy" always works for me.
There is one more thing that you should watch out for.
The mechanical action of the boolean can not be set for latch action when attempting to read the value using a value property node.

Error occurred while saving document in Web Analysis Studio

We have encountered an issue when we tried to save a new report in Web Analysis. An error message box will prompt up displaying "Error occurred while saving document." (Please refer to the attached screenshots). Clicking the details button gives no response.
Originally we encountered this whilst creating a report with an SQL spreadsheet (JDBC connection tested successfully), which failed to save. Proceeding to test this saving a blank report also gave the same error message.
The report shows up in the Oracle view, however also produces an error when trying to open it. "Unable to perform request
Undefined exception encountered. Recommended Action: Contact your corporate technical support." (Please refer to the attached screenshots)

Thanks for your reply. I am already using the admin account which is given administrator provisioning under Reporting & Analysis. I have not had issues in the past of saving documents to the server location (e.g. with FR studio). Any ideas as to what else could cause this error? Thanks!

This might be the case when DBA is trying to make tablespce read only and some transaction is waiting for commit read only command is in hang state.
Check with your DBA to know the datafile status.

I get an error message when saving a PDF to PNG. JPG and TIFF works, but no PNG.
Disk space is sufficient! 100GB of 250
A few weeks ago it was no problem to save as PNG. But now! (Perhaps from last update?)

I have this issue too, but my colleagues do not have this issue(we have same Acrobat Pro 11.0.09). I am sure this issue happens only you updated to 11.0.09, because when you use Windows Restore back to 11.0.08, no issues.

Check the properties for the file to make sure it is not read-only.” Dr. Google finds others with this problem. Some claim that this is caused by an upgrade of Apple OS10 (which I did do). One claims that HP has a "patch" for this problem. If I try to quit HP scan, it won't quit and freezes my computer. Here's the odd thing. I have no problem scanning in a colored page from Scientific American either before or after this error (after rebooting each time), but simple black and white documents started just today to give the error message above.

Thank you for the link however if I understood all of the instructions I would still be reluctant to try this on my own especially from a third unknown party where some of the information may be wrong and/or lost in translation. (Google translation at the end of this comment). The instructions say to uninstall the software. So if I uninstall the original HP software am I using the original disk to reinstall and then personalize again?What about all of the updates since I originally installed the software? I found the Disk Utility but what is "gatekeeper"And I am using OS X 10.9.1 that is current because I downloaded the latest upgrade. "Although it is not a 'fix' for the HP issue, I did find a workaround that helped me. In the Preferences Panel in MacOS X you can pull up the Printer/Scanner preferences and scan directly from OS X. I'd not known of this prior to posting here and it worked like a charm."

I have the familiar Mavericks issue of failing to save scanned files from my Mac:
"An error has occurred saving the file because it could not be written to. Check the properties for the file to make sure it is not read-only."
As far as I can see, there has been no resolution to this issue, despite reassurances dating to last fall (2013).
The support website acts funky, too, sending me around in circles when I try to download the drivers; it may be a Safari-only problem, but still, please fix your software!

Error occured while saving the user account information

I'm trying to install LiveCycle ES 2 with PDF Generator on a Windows 2008 server wtih SQL Server 2005. When I run the configuration manager I get an error in the step where you add the administrator user credentials for generator. The error I'm receiving is ALC-PDG-080-032-Error occured while saving the user account information. Has anyone seen this issue before? Any ideas on what the problem may be?

Going back some time, another user (do not recall Matrox on the system) had a similar issue. The workaround in that case was to use Save_As and just increment the file name. Now, I do not recall any real "fix," and for another user, the Save_As resulted in the same behavior, so it was not a universal workaround.
