RPM: Change DATA at SAVE for ITEM

Hi all.
I must modify a date when SAVE an item (date ACTUAL_FINISH).
I have implemented the interface /RPM/IF_EX_ITEM_API, but ther isn't methods for modifiy the datas of item. You have others BADI to suggest to make this?

Yes, I have watched and it don't change the ITEM areas.
But I have resolved the problem in this way.
I have opened a enhancement in class RPMCL_ITEM_T_API, method UPDATE_ITEM_ATTRIBUTES and have varied the date.

IW31/32- Change Date Restriction choices for "StartPoint" and "End"

Hello,
In IW31/32> Operation tab> then "Dates" screen.
Is there a way to change Date Restriction choices for "StartPoint" and "End."
Start Point: there are 4 choices: Must Start on, Cannot start before, cannot start after, start from resource planning
End: Must finish on, Cannot finish before, finish not later, finish from confirmation.
We want to limit the choice to 2 optiions on Start and End/ in addtion change the text.
Is this possible.

No its not possible to accomplish this in standard using configuration functionality.
You may able to accomplish restricting the values on the drop down through the implicit enhancement functionality available in ECC 6.0.
You will have to make a screen modification to make the associated start point/ end point key text editable.

SCCM 2012 R2 changing date and time for patching software update groups

I recieve this error when changing date and time for software update group. worked fine yesterday before patches to the server were applied last night. we removed patches but still get error below. Any help would be great.

My ibook keeps shutting down completely with the date to reverting back to 1969. i restart only after i plug in charger it lets me, then change date and save. the next time i use same thing happens, safari, iphoto, email are the only ones i have used.

The iBook does not have a backup (PRAM) battery. It only has the main battery and a small capacitor which maintains the settings long enough to do a battery swap. If the battery is dead, what you are seeing can happen.
If the battery is not a problem (or even if it is), you could try resetting the PMU and see if that helps.

Unable to Determine the Change Date and Time for records in infotype 2011

Hi Everyone,
We need to know on when the clock-in and clock-out records were interfaced to SAP in infotype 2011.
The change date/time field in infotype 2011 is blank/not populated. Hence, we're unable to determine on when the clock-in records were updated in infotype 2011.
It is not possible to get the audit logs for infotype 2011 as it is switched off.
We found this table TEVEN and just the same thing, the field "change on" is blank.
Kindly help us on how we can determine the change date and time for records in infotype 2011.

Here's the scenario.
On June 3, it was reported that staff's clock-in record on june 1, 7:00AM is missing in infotype 2011.
However, when I checked infotype 2011, the record is there.
So, they are now asking me on when this record was updated in infotype 2011 as they are thinking that there might be some delays in sending of the data to SAP.
The created on and created at in table TEVEN shows the same, june 1, 7:00AM which seems to be not true as on june 3, it was reported to be missing.
Can you help further on this?

PNG changing colors using save for web (CS2)

Im having a problem with making PNG pictures when using the "save for web" function (this also happens in Image ready)
I make an image in sRGB color space and chose "save for web" and set the settings, all looks fine and i save it as png8 or png24.
Then when i view it in a browser the colors af "off" (desaturated) ??
But if i chose "Save as" in Photoshop, and chose png, and save it that way, the color macth up and looks allright.
What im a doing wrong ??
I have made a test with to sets of colors / picture one with "websave" color and one without then save them "using save for web" in gif, jpg with profile, png8 and png24
The gif and jpg goes well but the png's colors goes "off"
I also saved the to files using "save as" and here the png's colors looks fine
(Ther are also some screendums of my color setting, "save for web" setting and my screen profile if that can be of anny help

When using "save as" i cant chose what png im saving as ? (8 or 24) What type of png dos PS use when you save it like that ???

Now I've read up on it, it seems the issue is indeed gamma.
(I really appreciate the "that's impossible, you must be doing something wrong" comments, by the way. Not "hmm, I don't know," but actually "what you've described in detail isn't happening; you're imagining things." Super helpful.)
Anyway the real question is: is there a way to stop Photoshop from including gamma data? It's apparently an optional portion of the PNG spec.
The whole gamma thing is unfortunate, but the *really* unfortunate bit is that Photoshop includes this information at all, particularly in a Save for Web context.
Most importantly, it seems this has been an issue for some time (Google "PNG Photoshop gamma"), and PNG is usually used for web, so why on Earth hasn't Adobe addressed this? Let's not forget that Photoshop is the industry-leading tool, and the Extended version costs $1000 by itself. The only options I've seen for saving as PNG in PS so far is sRGB conversion, bit depth, transparency, and interlacing. This whole gamma thing seems pretty unacceptable behavior, even by default.
I'm looking into pngcrush; does anyone have a simpler solution to strip the gamma information? Of course, if there's a way to do this in Photoshop itself, please please let me know.

I am using CDPOS and CDHDR tables to track the approval change date.
CDPOS returns the same change no for any chnages in same fields at diffrent dates.
When i pass same change to CDHDR , Iam getting same date for all purch Req.

Have u created the change document properly and is the changes getting logged in the table or not.........
in transaction SCDO you need to create a change object and according to that...
check the change document in table from where the date if coming in its further characteristics of that table where the date is there.so that changes are logged for that date.
and then where you are changing u need to call the function module name generated in scdo transaction in your program after the changed make to logg the changes and then chek in cpos and cdhdr tables and use them to use changes.

Not allowed to change date and time for some photos; why?

I have some images that I scanned in of old photos. I'm trying to change the date and time and location to reflect the time the original photo was taken. I know how to do it in the menu system, but when I try to change the original data it tells me they are of a file type that won't allow this metadata to be changed. They are simple JPEG's so I'm not sure what the problem is. Do I need to convert it to some other format first to be able to do this? Any ideas would be helpful...

are trying to change the date and time of the versions only, or are you trying to change the date and time of the masters too? If you are using
Meta Data -> change date and time
deselect "also change master file", this causes the problem, the new Aperture version seems not to allow to change the date and time of masters.
There have been long discussions on this problem, see e.g. this thread; I do not know if somebody has found a solution by now,

In PM order, can we change the material description for item category N?

Hi,
In Plant Maintenance work order, is there a way to change the material description while purchasing material (item category N) using a material master number? In config. the material description field is open for input. However on the work order components screen it becomes grey as soon as one enters a material master number.
Background: We want to maintain generic material master records in the system and use them for purchasing materials (item category N) on work orders so that the purchasing data defaults from the material master. But we need to be able to change the description per the specific requirement.
Similar functionality works on sales orders. Are we missing anything?

One solution would be to have some generic materials created and used them during work order processing. These generic materials needs to be extended to all the required plants.

Programatically changing data socket IP for OPC

Hello,
I am using a string indiactor which is configured with the data socket (OPC lookout) settings. I am having a difficult time changing the IP address of the datasocket URL (ie- lookout:\\172.24.149.2X\LV\digame\Control_Parms) using property nodes. Has any one been able to do this??

What version of LabVIEW RT are you running? There was an issue in LabVIEW 6.0.3 the DataSocket VI's could not have different URL's passed through them. E.G. If you had one DataSocket Read in a For Loop that auto-indexed through an array of 10 URL's, you would always get the data from the first URL.
Also, remember that a number of VI server functions are only available on development machines and not available when built as an executable. Check the online help on the property node to determine whether the property you are using is available at all times or only in development mode.

i've installed the above on my server. It seems to look fine. The connection to oracle database is set, the databases on the sql server side have been created; the tables to be captured are created. When i make a change on the oracle side, the configuration
ui senses the change, but no data is moved over. Silly question, do i have to move the data from oracle to sql server FIRST before any of this will work? and how do inserts work if the data has to be moved over to sql server first? I'm missing something here

Changing the Screen Saver for the Login Window

I've found how I can change the WALLPAPER for the LOGIN Window.
How can I change the screensaver from the default to one that I have installed?

ok, what you suggested definitely does NOT work as is. what does work as I found by doing a little googling is adding two entries specifically concerning the screensaver over login window to /library/preferences/com.apple.screensaver.plist. Namely, you need to add the keys loginWindowIdleTime and loginWindowModulePath. no other new entries are needed.
for example, the following/library/preferences/com.apple.screensaver.plist works for me.
