RRI JUMP issue in QAS

Hi Gurus,
My RRI jump from Sumary query to Detail query is working fine in DEV. But when I moved the transport with same settings to QAS it is not working, getting message "Data not found", but actually the data is there in the Cube. Is it pointing to different source system ?. How do I check.
Please let me know what could be the reason ?.

Hi Liza,
Can u pls check which target system u have given in the Maintain Sender/Reciever Assignment setting. For your case it should be loacal.
Secondly Please review the field assignment details in how u are propagating from summarise to detail veiw.

RRI Jump issue

Hi
we are using report to report interface to jump between two of our queries. In our first query based on po number it should jump to invoice report.( link is po number) ,it works fine when there is invoice for PO , but when there is no invoice for PO instead of showing NO APPLICATION DATA FOUND , it is showing the entire invoice report data with all invoice values.

Hi Krishna,
When there is no PO once you jump on reciever query check what all restrictions are passed from sender to reciever , this you can check in information tab while you run in RSRT ,
Ideally if you have such requirement in RSBBS assignement details setting you need to disable or delete (X) setting for the other characteristics and you need to enabkle only for PO characteristic.

RRI Jump Works with SAP GUI 7.20 Patch 3 but not with Patch 4

Hi,
I have an a RRI jump to an R/3 transaction working when executed via 7.20 GUI for Windows - Patch 3. However, the same jump does not work when executing with an updated GUI to patch level 4. There is no error message, nothing happens. I tried recreating the RRI with the new GUI patch and it didn't solve the problem.
I saw a couple of OSS Notes taking about enhanced security for patch 4, i.e. 1526048 & 1397000). Is this related?
Has anyone else had a similar issue?

where did you get this info? Any official SAP note available? Do you encounter similar problems?
We, too, noticed that uploading and downloading files from directories with German Umlauts, this fails now,too. There may be problems with files, too, however, we did not check this so far. The previous SAP Gui, I guess it was 7.10, didn't have any problems with this.
I start wondering if SAP Germany have ever tested this? Or do they not use Umlauts anyway

RRI-Jump Queries for only Selected BPs

Hi, I have a BP Master data Report on which Iu2019m using RRI-jump to the Order detail Report for selected BPs. Iu2019m ok up to the point displaying Single or All BPs on the Jump target. But what I also trying to do is to run RRI report for only selected BPs. So Iu2019m expecting selected multiple BPs on the RRI Query Variable Screen (it is neither single nor all).
In the WAD report i have used two command: Set Filter Values Using Different Sources command (SET_SELECTION_STATE_BY_BINDING) and RRI.
There are some post but i didn't find any solution. Could anyone please suggest. Thanks

RRI - Jump query

Hi SDN,
Both queries work indepedently but refuse to work through RRI/Jump. The receiver query returns 'No applicable data found' while there is data on both sides at the most granular level.
What values/parameters are passed from the sender query and how does the receiver query uses them to fetch data? Our sender query is over a Multiprovider and the receiver query is over an infoset.
I am more interested in the inner workings of RRI (to resolve this problem) than the procedure to set up jump which I know.
Also, on the field assignment button, the Check and delete buttons do not do anything. Any suggestions? And what is the purpose of field assignment window?

By default, all char from the row are transferred as selections to the corresponding filters in the target query ('generically' option).
I am not sure whether something which is not a char in the sender can be sent to the receiver, probably not.
The definition is in the assignment tab. If you do a F1 on the individual cells there, it will explain how the assignment options are to be used.

Right, what you say above. I am not sure if there is any way to pass the sender's variables to the receiver.

BW RRI JUMP TARGETS

I have to work on some SAP BW security stuff like authorizations at infoobject level and other related stuff (ex: RRI jump targets to specific TCODE in R3 - should not have access to other TCODES from the tcode which you are in R3). I am not sure what else I need to do and this is a Brand New implementation. So if anybody has worked on the BW security, can you please provide me with any documentation you have.
Any documentation/presentations or any guidance/links in this regard will be very helpful to me.

Can multiple RRI jump targets co-exist in Web Appl.

I have a Web Appl. with multiple jump targets. When jump to first target, system create a new window for the target report. When I go back to the main report to jump to 2nd jump target. System reuses the same sub report window to display the 2nd jump target report. It means I can have only one target report open. Is there way to work around the problem to have multiple jump target reports open at the same time?

Hi Frank,
You could do a CTRL+N on your sender report for it to open up in a new window, and then do the second RRI jump from here..but this way you will have one extra window for each target report displayed. Does this hapen even if you ALT-TAB back to the sender report?

RRI Jump problem

This is regarding the RRI jump.
I am trying to jump from a report to a transaction. All the assignments are made to be generic. Now the problem is that when I try to execute this jump I get a warning stating that Selection for InfoObject cannot be uniquely assigned.
What is the problem and how do I proceed?

Hi Nitin,
check the 'Detailed Mapping' button in the Sender/Receiver assignment. For further information about the different mapping option, please have a look at the online documentation.
If this mapping does not suit your needs, you might also check the Invert routine in the transfer rules. Yet, normally you should get it to work with alternative 1.

RRI Jump Target Issue, IMP

How do I jump from one query to another with a set of values. I want a query to run for a set of all customers for a specific customer group from 0cust_sales.
I tried both options using InfoObject and Variable and different options in selection type(Parameters, Single values...)
with a specific customer record, it runs fine, if I right click go-to from customer or customer group header, it returns all customers from all groups. How do I restrict this?

I want an aging query by customer group.
I have aging query by customer(0DEBITOR)
I have customers by customer group in 0CUST_SALES.
So I chose to jump by customer group to that aging query by passing the Customer numbers for the specific group chosen.
I am half successful. I can get results on a customer by customer basis by right clicking on a specific customer.
If i right click on group and choose go to, it is resulting in a single record for that customer in that line.
if i right click either on customer group or customer in the header line, it is resulting in all customers which i dont want.

RRI jump to BEx from EP is not working

Friends,
We have configured BI admin cockpit. When I click on any iView and then Go To->,
all the jumps to Web GUI (tcodes) are wroking fine. But jump to BEx web application is not working.
Go To-> Infocube Status : Analysis, * Analysis.. are not working. It shows "This page can not be displayed".
But those templates are available in the system.
If I try the same web applications from RSRT tcode, the RRI is working fine.

RRI Jump into New Window

I am trying to figure out a way to have a new query or even template open in a new window on the portal when using a report jump (RRI).
I have my BEx Web Analyser iView set to open in "Portal Content Area". If I change that to open in a new window, the RRI still opens on top of the sender query.
I would like to have the user have a separate window opened on top of the original query to compare results when jumping.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I have not been able to find a solution yet, I know there must be a way though.
As an example the variable screen works this way. Initially when you run a report and the variable screen pops up full screen for the whole report. Then later on if you right click and refresh variable (or add button) it does a pop-up vs. a full screen variable refresh.
If anybody could help us on this issue that would be great.

Query in RRI / Jump Targets

Hello Gurus,
I am querying on the FI-Ageing Analysis. The report is from an infocube. I have created a jump target, which in turn goes an ODS Query. In an ageing report, I have a total Overdue Balance (OB),OB between 0-30 days, OB between 30-60 and 60-90 days. The report is displayed on the customers. When I right click the value in one of the customers 60-90 days column (for eg.) , the jump target takes me to the ODS report but it shows me the line item documents for the total balance of the customer, while I am interested in seeing the documents of only overdue between 60-90 days.
Has anyone encountered this situation. Pls guide.

Jumps issue

Hi All,
I having an issue in one of my reports. I am sure whether its an issue with jumps or particular variable.
Well here's the issue:
In the sender report( weekly report) I have "net gallons" being displyed for 4 weeks(week1, week2, week3, week4) in the current calender week(customer exit) and prior year calender week (set with an offset). So from this weekly report i make a jump to the daily report( receiver) wherein it has to display the "net gallons" for each day. For the current year and prior year. Now after make the jump the report shows me the values only for the current year(is a SAP exit) and does not show anything for the prior year(set with an offset- current year - 1).
Need help in solving this one.

RRI Jump Query opens the receiver query in standard Template??

Hi,
Few questions from me (Note I have searched the forum database for answers but didnt get a convincing answer)
1) How can I use 1 web custom built template for 2 different queries?
2) I have created the sender receiver setting for the Jump queries. The problem that I am facing is that the sender query uses the custom built web template but when I use GOTO the receiver query instead of using the custome template it executes in standard webtemplate. Kindly suggest how can I open the receiver query in the custom built web template after GOTO function.

I agree to the statement that RRI uses link to Query but if we setup the custom web template for that jump query in WAD....it will never open in that template via RRI ???
That very disappointing discovery for me !!!
Any other possiblity to make this work????
What if I have the sender and receiver query web template(custom) same???.is it possbile to use the same template for these two template even after jump ???

Is BI 7.0 supports RRI ? if so How it will process and works ,What are the settings lieing in sender and Receiver and Assgnment Details. Does Query1 and Query2 has atleast one info object common? what if not.

For example, Suppose you created two cube CUBE A ( which contains Company code , Customer, Revenue) and Cube B (Controlling Area, Region, Price) . so There is no common column.
On cube A you created query QUERYA
On cube B you created query QUERYB
GOTO>>> RSBBS,
sender>>>CUBEA/QUERYA
REPORT TYPE>>>>BW Bex query
Target>>>> Local
receiver report>>> CUBEB/QUERYB
save it.
after you run the query in analyzer
Right click on the repor>>>> goto >>>> QUERYB. it will jump.
But Unlike the other it will just jump from QUERY A TO QUERY B. But its not jumping into the query w.r.to particular charecteristic.I mean for the respective region you can't find the detail information like product, and billing document, customer.For these thing threre should be common charecteristic.
