As per our discussion, I am sending you my requirement.
call me if you feel any problem in this. My No. is : 610 733 7334.
My Requirement is :
In BW, I need to create a Jump query in RRI from Report to R/3 Transaction.
Here Sender value is i.e from Query i.e. Insurance Object (actually in BW this the combination of Business Partner and Contract).
So I want to pass this value to R/3 Transaction FPL9.
But the passing value has to be segregated as Business Partner and Contract. at BW level only, and has to go to FPL9 Transaction as parameter values.
For that I identified, that need to write User Exit, but for RRI, SAP has moved this User Exit to BAdi.
Now I created a BAdi, which is (Custom) ZRS_BBS_BADI ( Original SAP one is : RS_BBS_BADI).
It has Custom Class is ZCL_IM_RS_BBS_BADI (Original : CL_IM_RS_BBS_BADI)
Inside the class we have 2 methods :
1) EXIT_SAPLRSBBS_001
2)EXIT_SAPLRSBBS_002
Q) Here in Which one we need to write code? what?
Pleae suggest me entire solution.

Here the thing is I am able to pass asingle parameter value like BP or some thing from any other query or this query. But my requirement here is , I need to take a single value, that is Insurence Object (this is the combination of Business Partner and contract), now I need to seggragate the sigle value of Insurence object as BP and Contract and have to pass to R/3 transaction FPL9.
I can pass single vale to R/3 transaction. BW jump query setup will take care about passing the single values.
Now we need to segragate the sender value to 2 values for reciever.
Guide me the code for this.

Always enter RKPEP000 as the receiver report for project line items in the report/report interface. This program uses the transfer parameters to determine which line item reports can be accessed.

We have attemped to use "S_ALR_87013543" as well but the parameters don't go through properly which means when a user jumps from a BW report, they end up at the ECC selection screen of S_ALR_87013543.
Drill through is working for our Cost Center reports. Just not this one in particular.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

RRI to Opportunity transaction on CRM UI

Hi All,
We are using BI 7.0 and CRM 7.0. I have a requirement of jumping from opportunity BI Report to its opportunity screen on CRM UI. I have maintained sender-receiver assignment but it is not working.
Has anyone worked on RRI to CRM transaction (opportunity/Lead). Please suggest with the parameters required for the jump.

Jump target RRI from BW report to CRM Portal

Hello Experts,
Need to create a Jump target from the BW query to CRM Portal Tcode CRMD_ORDER.
I am passing the transaction number ( similar to sales order in R/3) to this tcode CRMD_ORDER in CRM
Step1) create the receiver
Type: Transaction. Defined the source system and entered the Tcode CRMD_ORDER in the 'report' field.
Receiver is created
Assignment. details:
I can see the source infobject 0CRM_OBJ_ID from the Infobject column; Type : Infobject; Field name : OBJECT_ID / GV_OBJECT_ID;
OBJECT_ID is the table field in the CRM System for the transaction number.
GV_OBJECT_ID is the screen field name in the CRM system for TCODE CRMD_ORDER.
I tried with both the OBJECT_ID and GV_OBJECT_ID.
Expected result: Open the Tcode CRMD_ORDER with the transaction number eg: 1000001 that is passed from the Bex report. Currently that is not happening. It is opening Tcode CRMD_ORDER but not the document 1000001. I have to manually open it.
Please suggest if anything got missed in the definetion of RSBBS.

What I found out so far is that by using a URL like
http://...:8060/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BBP_POC_DISPLY?sap-client=300&sap-language=EN&PO_GUID=490622657B526483E10000000A0A3D25
in RRI it is possible to jump from a BW web report to SRM to display a corresponding purchase order. This URL uses the PO_GUID, but with help of a couple of lines of ABAP in a custom BSP I was able to use the PO number instead of the GUID, too.
In general I am looking for URL's do display purchase oders, shopping carts and confirmations in SRM and URL parameters that can be used. Or anything related to that topic.
From my experience users find it very useful to easily jump from BW into the original transactions to clarify potential issues there. I have implemented this a lot in the past with BW and classic R/3 GUI transactions, so I'm looking for a way to implement this with SRM as well.

RRI - Back to Webreport

Hi experts,
we use 3.5 webtemplates and RRI. We can jump out of a webtemplate in a transaction or ABAP-Report in a WebGUI (R/3). It works fine! But if we want back to the BW-Report, we have to close the browser. If i click on the "Back" or "End"-Button in the WebGUI, i land in rsrr_web. Is closing the browser the only way returning to the BW-Report or is there any customizing i have to do in (R/3).

RRI list all sales orders in VA05.

For all queries of infoprovider I created a RRI based on
- Sales organization VKORG -> VKORG
- Sold-to- party KUNDE -> KUNDE_D
When I execute VA05 with "Sold-to- party" and "Sales organization", it returns only the the "Sold-to- party" orders. When I jump from the portal using the goto option in the context menu, it returns more orders with different "Sold-to- party".
The same issue with VF05.
Is this a configuration issue in RSBBS?
Release NW 7.0.

RRI jump to BEx from EP is not working

Friends,
We have configured BI admin cockpit. When I click on any iView and then Go To->,
all the jumps to Web GUI (tcodes) are wroking fine. But jump to BEx web application is not working.
Go To-> Infocube Status : Analysis, * Analysis.. are not working. It shows "This page can not be displayed".
But those templates are available in the system.
If I try the same web applications from RSRT tcode, the RRI is working fine.
Please help..

RRI Issue when jumping to TCode in R/3

Hi Experts,
I need to Jump through RRI (RSBBS) from BW summary query to BW detailed query and from BW detailed query to TCode WB23 in our requirement. So i have created two RRI's in BW dev system one from Summary to detailed report and other from Detailed Report to R/3 Tcode . Here in receiver tab i have selected the Source system as R/3 technical system and Info source as 2LIS and ran the report and everything is working fine.
When i moved the changes iam not able to drill down to WB23 from 2nd RRI and this is the short dump error iam getting in BW Quality system.
What Happened:
The function module "RSRR_REPORT_CALL" was called, but cannot be
found in the Function Library.
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPMSSY1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
Error Analysis:
The program "SAPMSSY1" contains a CALL FUNCTION statement. The name
of the function module to be called is "RSRR_REPORT_CALL".
No function module exists with the name "RSRR_REPORT_CALL".
All function modules are stored in the Function Library (SE37).
Possible reasons:
a) Wrong name specified. Particular attention should be paid
    to upper/lower case and underscores ("_")
b) Transport error
c) If an enqueue/dequeue module has been used, the lock object
    may not have been activated (ABAP Dictionary)
    may not have been activated (ABAP Dictionary).
Did any one of you faced the same problem. If so can you suggest the solution. Thank in Advance.

I got the result.
I shall let you know the steps.
1. Go to RSSBS
2. Choose the sender.
3. Choose the Receiver assignment.
4. Choose the source system.
5. Transaction code : WB23.
6. Save the transaction.
7. See that you have authorization for WB23 in receiver system.
8. Execute the query upto the detailed query in BW.
9. Choose the Receiver T.code in BW.
10. Maintain the Server ip in the Browser and host file.
11. Voila !!! Here is your logion pad and once you log in here is your transaction.

RRI Jump into New Window

I am trying to figure out a way to have a new query or even template open in a new window on the portal when using a report jump (RRI).
I have my BEx Web Analyser iView set to open in "Portal Content Area". If I change that to open in a new window, the RRI still opens on top of the sender query.
I would like to have the user have a separate window opened on top of the original query to compare results when jumping.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I have not been able to find a solution yet, I know there must be a way though.
As an example the variable screen works this way. Initially when you run a report and the variable screen pops up full screen for the whole report. Then later on if you right click and refresh variable (or add button) it does a pop-up vs. a full screen variable refresh.
If anybody could help us on this issue that would be great.

Using Report-to-Report Interface (RRI) in BEx Report Designer?

Dear experts,
I would like to know if it is possible to use Report-to-Report Interface in BEx Report Designer?
From what I read from this article

So is it true? And are there any workarounds to enable/emulate RRI capability in BEx Report?

Hi Joon,
It is possible to make RRI in BEX Report Designer by using Transaction Code - RSBBS .
Here you need to give the Target Query and Source Query names and than you can easily connect two reports or two levels of same report.

How to show a variable screen when clicking on direct link of report in ,when that report is used as target in RRI alsoRRI

I have created RRI between two reports and the type is web template/WAD.
My requirement is to show the variable screen of target report when clicked on direct link and it should not show the var. screen if it goes from jump/go to.
while currently I can not see var. screen on both the places and when switching the var. scree. display on in web template , it shows the screen at both the places.

Did you try using such a variable? What kind of a problem do you face? I am sorry I am still trying to understand your problem. I am just saying that which variable you use is not important for the first query. Only in the second query, add a variable with ready for input (I am not sure why the other doesn't work, I just tried and it gave an error, that's why I suggest this) and in RRI connection make the assignment with this variable. Please try this and let me know the result.

RRI no longer working after update from BI 7.0 SPs15 to SPs17

Hello,
since the upgrade of our BI-7.0 (2004s) from SPS15 (BI-ABAP SP17, BI-Java SP15) to SPS17 (BI-ABAP SP19, BI-Java SP17), we have a strange behaviour in our RRI-jumps (which worked fine with SPS15!) from WAD-Reports (SAP-Portal) to the ECC (via ITS-based Web-GUI):
1) on first traversal in the Portal session, after login on to the ECC system, the SAP Easy Access page is displayed instead of the target transaction (nothing special: MM03, VA03, ...)
2) on all subsequent traversal, a remote login page (from the ECC to the BI system) is first displayed; after doing the remote login (i.e. specifying the BI account), the target Tcode in ECC is displayed with the targeted data.
This strange behaviour is new since the update. Before that, RRI worked as expected, bringing the user directly to the TCode after a first login.
Has someone else experienced this behaviour and how was this problem solved?

We faced similar problems with jumps after upgrading to SPS15.
THe jumps from the 7.0 charts resulted in javascript error.
And jump to infoset query with larger dataset resulted dump .
SAP recommended application of java patches. But those java patches broken lot many things and hence not implemented.

RRI: Problem in Query to R/3 Transaction picking up all passed values.

We are having a problem with a jump query to R/3. We have BW 3.5
and ECC 5.0. The query successfully jumps to our R/3 transaction
(GD13 - Display Special Purpose Ledger) but it does not
prepopulate all of the fields in the GD13 selection parameters.
Our query in BW has results for both account and group account
fields, but only the account field prepopulates. Our users see
more importance in having the group account prepopulate. I have
tried specific field assignments in BW (transaction RSBBS). I
also tried to do a SAP repair and add a parameter ID to element
ALTKT on the R/3 side for the group account. But it did not seem
to help. After assigning parameter ID to R/3 side, I did not do
anything more on the BW side other than assign the parameter ID
to the assignment fields in RSBBS - report to report interface.
Does anybody have any suggestions or have ideas on further

If you are using web reports, the R/3 Transaction will open with the help of ITS

RRI issue in UAT.

Hi All,
I have created the RRI to navigate between BW report to the R/3 transaction. This navigation works fine in DEV, but when it is moved to UAT it is not navigating to R/3 transaction.
After clicking on the GOTO option the navigation fails to kick off and the control remains in the report itself. There is no error message or dump shown.
The objects of RRI has been checked for proper transport and also checked in RSBBS T-Code in UAT for correct mapping of source system. I am using BW3.5.
Meanwhile, the R/3 system is throwing a dump with error message
"DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND"
"Screen output without connection to user".
Iam not able to get a hold of this issue. Is there any configuration changes to be done while transporting to UAT while RRI is being used?

I hve the same requirement, some what i did but when i try to navigate to R/3 transaction, a new URL is
opening but it is not connecting to the R/3 server. Whether we need to do any setting for this?

Issue in RRI

Hi All,
I have been facing an issue with RRI which is working fine in Development system. But when i moved it to UAT, it is not working.
I have created the RRI between the report and the R/3 transaction. When i try to navigate from the report to the transaction in dev, it is working. But when it is moved into UAT, I'm not able to do the same function.
The system is not throwing any dump or error message. But when i clicked on the goto option, the control remains in the report itself. It is not even asking for the logon credentials for the source system. I tried to debug the code, but not able to find out the reason for the issue.
This is the first time, i'm trying the RRI functionality in UAT. I have included RRI object in the transport.
I am using BW3.5.
Is there anything needed to be additionally included while transporting or any configuration needs to be done in the system to acheive the functionality of RRI between report to R/3?
Please help me to overcome this issue...

I have checked the mapping in RSBBS. Everything is correct over there. And aslo, I found that the system is throwing a dump in the R3 with the error message,

Issue on RRI in BI 7.0

I created sender and receiver queries and assigned in RSBBS. When I run the report, I am unable to see go to option in result screen.

RRI is known as Report to Report interface, we use this RRI in the senario to jump from summarised
Report to Granular Report.
When we design the the RRI the following steps to be followed.
1. Make sure common characteristic present in sendr and reciver quaries.
2. created the Sender quary as summarised report, and create a variable for
    characterisitic which is common in both the quaries Ex: customer.
3.Go to the Reciver quary and define characterisitic variable with
Replacement path, on the charecterstic which is common in the
both the quaries Ex: customer
4. Now go with RSBBS T.COAD and define the sender Quary and
   Reciver quary Define the Target name of the sender quary and finaly
   go with Assignment Details Do the Necessary settings.
5.Go to the Analyser and view the Replacement of sender to
receiver quary.
