RSA3 - 2LIS_11_VAHDR

Hello,
I have a record that posted into BW a long time ago. It is sales document 10000181. It is from datasource 2LIS_11_VAHDR.
I go to RSA 3 and use that sales document as a selection criteria against datasource 2LIS_11_VAHDR.
I do not get any results? Why would that be?
I have entered it with leading zero's as well and still no luck. I would have guessed that since it was extracted at some point from this datasource, that I would be able to extract it again.
Can anyone help me with an explanation?

Thanks for the reply, you cleared up a little of my confusion regarding this situation.
I had thought that you could always get data results from RSA3, I thought that RSA3 actually grabbed the record from the tables. Not just the setup tables, and the last delta to process.
So I should always be able to get data from RSA3 records that are in the setup tables, right? In regards to delta's I won't be able to see their data from in RSA3 unless it was the last delta, is that right?
hmmm, I am probably going to have to start over with the data loading for this....since I do have some 'mysterious' gaps (may be the result of some LBWQ problems a while back).
Any advice on the process of reloading/resetting up data from Application area 11 and 13? I am thinking that I will
1. Stop my hourly scheduled V3 job from running and ensure that I have no data in the RSA7 queues (the job that moves the data from the extraction queue to the Delta Queue).
2. Clear out all my data in BW, (that I am going to re extract)
3. I will then delete the setup tables on the R/3 side (apps 11 and 13)
4. I will then fill the setup tables (apps 11 and 13)
5. Once the setup tables are completely reloaded I will run my Delta Init's
6. Next I will schedule the V3 jobs to run (we use Queued Delta)
6. Finally I will reschedule my Delta Process chains
Does that sound sensible...have I missed or overlooked anything?

Unable to extract the data from ECC 6.0 to PSA

Hello,
I'm trying to extract the data from ECC 6.0 data source name as 2LIS_11_VAHDR into BI 7.0
When i try to load Full Load into PSA , I'm getting following error message
Error Message: "DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR must be activated"
Actually the data source already active , I look at the datasource using T-code LBWE it is active.
In BI on datasource(2LIS_11_VAHDR) when i right click selected "Manage" system is giving throughing below error message
"Invalid DataStore object name /BIC/B0000043: Reason: No valid entry in table RSTS"
If anybody faced this error message please advise what i'm doing wrong?

I can see the data using RSA3 (2LIS_11_VAHDR) 1000 records
BI7.0(Service Pack 15)
Replicate the datasource in Production in Backgroud
Migrate Datasource 3.5 to 7.0 in Development
I did't migrate 3.5 to 7.0 in Production it's not allowing
When i try to schedule the InfoPakage it's giving error message "Data Source is not active"
I'm sure this problem relate to Data Source 3.5 to 7.0 convertion problem in production. In Development there is no problem because manually i convert the datasource 3.5 to 7.0

No data in RSA3 for 2LIS_11_VAITM and 2LIS_11_VAHDR

hello experts,
i want to extract data from 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAITM but dont see any data in RSA3.
I have already activated the datasource in RSA5 and LBWE. After running the setup tables using OLI7BW i still dont see any data in RSA3.
Pls advice... is there something i am missing?

Use SE16 and verify that there is data in the MC11VA0HDRSETUP table. If there is no data, then your setup tables were not updated (or the setup extracted no records).
In RSA3, make sure you select Update Mode of "C" or "F". This will check data from the setup tables.

Syntax error while checking extractor in rsa3

We are trying to check the extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR in RSA3 , when we press the extraction button , we are getting following error :-

Syntax error in sap "SAPLXRSA"
ERROR ANALYSIS :-
The following syntax error was found in the program SAPLXRSA:

Hi Apoorva,
Though you have not done the enhancement of the given Data source. Still System first check for CMOD .
Make sure that all the enhancements are working very much fine.
Or just check for syntex error in se 38 for Program ZXRSAU01.
If there are any please correct it or comment it, then your data source will work very much fine.

DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR is not defined in the source system

I have a problem when I had activated the Data Source called 2LIS_11_VAHDR in ERP DEV and then put it in a request to be transfered to ERP Prod
Then I am using RSA3 I receive the following error
DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR is not defined in the source system
I tried to activate this data source several times in ERP Dev and send it to production without any success

I am sure you would have done these steps, but just a double-check.
1. RSA5 - Install the data source
2. RSA6 - Activate the data source
Check in LBWE if the data source is available.
All this will be captured in a transport request(s) - you may may have a Workbench request & a Customizing request.
Also, before transporting, please check in your target system whether the datasource is available or not (RSA5).
Further to the above, do a check in Dev for the following.
After activating it in RSA6, fill the setup tables for 2LIS_11_VAHDR - i.e. thru' transaction OLI7BW.
And check the data in RSA3.

Duplicate records in RSA3 after filling of setup tables.

I had deleted the setup tables and filled the setup tables but when i go to check 2LIS_11_VAITM in RSA3 its populating duplicate records. Any idea of why its showing this discrepancy.

Hi Venu,
If you are using 2LIS_11_VAITM then you would have duplicate VBELN because you can have multiple items per transaction. The primary key of that datasource is VBELN and POSNR.
On the other hand if your using 2lis_11_vahdr then there shouldn't be any duplicate VBELN since there's No Item #.

Hi Abhay,
The data source which you are trying to use is comes under logistics. To take the logistics data from R/3 to BW set up table needs to be filled up. To fill the set up table follow the below mentioned procedures.
First Delete the set up table to avoid data duplication:
Go to T.Code: SBIW -> Settings for Application Specific data sources (PI) -> Logistics -> Managing Extract structures -> Initialization -> Delete the contents of the setup table
Fill the set up table:
Go to T.Code: SBIW -> Settings for Application Specific data sources (PI) -> Logistics -> Managing Extract structures -> Initialization -> Filling in the setup table -> Application specific set up of statistical data
Choose the relevant node to perform the set up based on your requirement.
Remember while filling the set up table no entry sould get posted in the relevant tables. So while you do this in production system, you may have to request for user locking for the relevant T.Codes.

Question on adding a ZZ field available in VBAK to the DS 2LIS_11_VAHDR

I need to include a new ZZ field available in VBAK table to the DataSources 2LIS_11_VAHDR
The Extract Structure for the DataSource is MC11VA0HDR.
Now in the DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR there are two includes - "[MC11VA1HDR] Extraction SD Sales BW: Document Header MCVBAK" and "[MC11VA2HDR] Extraction SD Sales BW: Document Header MCVBUK"
For Extract Structure MC11VA1HDR, there is an Append Structure "[ZZMC11VAIHDR] Append for MC11VA1HDR"
My questions are,
1. If I now need to make this new field in VBAK available in 2LIS_11_VAHDR, where shall I make the change - Shall I modify the structure MC11VA1HDR directly or append the structure to include this field?
2. Since this field is already available in the VBAK table, do I still need to write code to retrieve this data?
3. What are the implications for the setup table & the existing data? Do I need to reconstruct the Setup tables?

here's how you do it (in BW7):
Go to LBWE on the source system
Find the 2LIS_11_VAHDR extract structure. It is under '11: SD Sales BW'
In the source system, go to RSA7 and check the delta queue for the DataSource. If there is stuff stuck in it then you will need to empty the queue. The easiest way to do this is to pull the data across to BW by running a DELTA infopackage against the InfoSource.
You will also need to delete any data that has been left lying around in the restructure tables after the last initialisation of the DataSource. Use transaction LBWG to do this. If you donu2019t do this, the system wonu2019t let you change the DataSource.
*Now go in and u2018Maintainu2019 the Extract Structure. Add the new fields you need from the OLTP source table.
When this is successful, go back to the LO Customising Cockpit. The extract structure will be red. Click on the DataSource associated with the extract structure. All the new fields should be in there, but they will have been created as u2018Hiddenu2019 and u2018Not relevantu2019. You will need to unhide these fields and make sure the Service API passes these fields to the extractor.
Save the changes to the DataSource.This will take you back to the cockpit again. Now the extract structure should be yellow. Click on the u2018Inactiveu2019 text to activate the Extract Structure & DataSource.
Finally, you have to build a restructure table for the data. You have to go into SBIW->Settings for Application-Specific DataSources->Logistics->Managing Extract Structures->Initialization->Filling in the Setup Table->Applicatio-Specific Setup of Statistical Data.
Do the restructure in simulation mode first, and check the log in NPRT. If all is well, run it for real.
Test the extraction in RSA3 to make sure that everything has worked OK.

Unable to use extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR with Data Services

We are currently trying to use Data Services to extract data from ECC to HANA using standard Business Content extractors. BW is beyond the scope of this project and we want to build a custom SQL data mart using Data Services and HANA.
We would like to use the extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR to extract Sales Order Header information. However, when we try to fill the setup tables for application 11, we see the error ‘No extraction structure active or no BW connected’:
We have confirmed that the data sources are active in both t-codes RSA6 and LBWE. We are also able to pull the DataSource up in t-code RSA3 but obviously no records are returned because the setup tables are empty.

RSA3
Please advise as to any other steps needed to allow the filling of the setup tables. Your help is highly appreciated.

We were able to resolve this issue with SAP's help. Here is the solution.
If you want to be able to execute OLI7BW, you need to either connect a BW system to the source system or create at least one subscription within Operational Delta Queue.
If you do not want to connect a BW system, this means you would first have to issue a CDC request from Data Service for a 2LIS_11* data source (e.g. 2LIS_11_VAITM) with an empty setup table.
This will create an active subscription, enabling you to start the setup program OLI7BW.
After this you should be able to request a second initial load from Data Services, by temporarily setting property "Initial load" to "Yes". This will be the "real" delta init, providing the data from the setup tables to Data Services.

Logistic extraction 2lis_11_vahdr,2lis_11_vaitm

our logistic extractors are not turned active in R3 development from some time.
bw development is also not loading Logistic information from last 6 months
but since last couple weeks new Sales orders and billing documents are getting created with new documents.
so i refered sdn and followed the steps.
1. delete setup tables in transaction LBWG
2. FILL up setup tables using SBIW -->Settings for Application-Specific Data Sources ->Logistics --> Managing Extract Structures->Initialization -->Filling in the Setup Table --> choose Application -- >Setup of Statistical Data-->SD Sales order perform setup
3. this filled up setup tables....
now if i do rsa3 and enter 2lis_11_vaitm i still cant see the records that were created in last month
i can only see records that are created last year and year before....
question-- i can still see the records in transaction VA03
how do i solve this??

First of all delete the setup table if already filled for application 11 and if there is entry in LBWQ delte that also you will get something like MCEX11 in LBWQ and corresponding entries in RSA7 if any exist. Now go to LBWE and acitvate the data sources you want in your case 2lis_11_vahdr,2lis_11_vaitm. Now fill the setup table for SD-Sales Orders - Perform Setup.
After filling of setup table check the entries in RSA3, also you need to run init infopackage to get the deltas in LBWQ and then in RSA7. For pulling data from LBWQ to RSA7 you have to schedule the job using job control in LBWE.
Hope you will get the desired results.

now we are doing logistic extraction in sales and distribution, so after reading different threads it seems i have to re org the delta queues
here are things i can list out
check active structures in BW:
so i went into lbwe and they are 2lis_11_vahdr,2lis_11_vaitm,2lis_13_vdhdr,2lis_13_vditm
delete the init from bw in infopackage
delete set up tables
so i went in LBWQ and deleted entries for MCEX11 & MCEX13
now refill the setup tables...
how to fill setup tables ???
i am doing rsa3 and all this extractors are throwing empty or 0 records!!!!
i tried oli3bw and oli7bw
what options to select
how to fill setup tables ???
are this correct tcodes oli3bw & oli7bw for 2lis_11_vahdr,2lis_11_vaitm,2lis_13_vdhdr,2lis_13_vditm

when you say deleted data? that mean delete all the requests ???
there are like 200 requests in cube 0SD_C03 because the data was loading from last 5 months..
do i have to manually turn all requests in to red and delete it ???
also when i ran oli9bw
it ended up in error saying PROGRAM TERMINATed
time limit exceeded!!!
and then in smq1 there r no queues visible for 13 and 11
do i run it again ????

Problem to extract data using DS 2LIS_11_VAHDR & 2LIS_11_VAITM

Hello Experts,
my requirement is to extract the SD sales Item & sales header data int BI. while executing the Reports in BI I find some incosistencies in data
Ex: for for some Sales organizations
      0CRM_NUMDOC = 17 and the corresponding   0NETVALORD = 0,00
and for some sales organization
     0CRM_NUMDOC = 0 and the corresponding   0NETVALORD = 5200,00
we are using the data sopurce 2LIS_11_VAHDR to load Document header data and the data sopurce 2LIS_11_VAITM to get Item Net value data. and used two trtansformations to the same SAP standard cubes 0CSAL_C05 & 0CSAL_C03.
asper my analysis in development system I find
       VBAK contains 1405 records but the DS 2LIS_11_VAHDR extracts only 1235 records.
but
       VBAP conains   2665 records and the DS 2LIS_11_VAITM extracts all 2665 records.
is it creats the problem?
I deleted the setuptables and again fill them even thought I have the same problem ?
If you have any idea regarding this issue please share with me.

HI,
Check indeed the extraction in your source system with RSA3.
Also perform the load and check your data in PSA (before any transformation takes place).
Are you going to use delta or full loading? I assume it's delta? So if you perform your initial load with data, no use of the setup table is required...
If you have too much data to do this, try an initial load without data, first delta load and next a full repair load (which will read your setup table). Do not forget to fill your setup table with all the historical data you need in transaction SBIW.

Problem in filling up the setup tables for 2LIS_11_VAHDR (All SD Data sources)

I have been trying to fillup the setup tables for SD datasources( Application-11 Ex:2LIS_11_VAHDR), but it was not allowing me to do that.
Below are the steps i have followed,
1.Deleted the setup tables using tcode-LBWG- Application-11
2.Cleared the queues in RSA7 and found 0 queues for 2LIS_11_VAHDR D.S by triggereing the I.P till it get zeroes.
3.Checked the data in RSA3-No data found.
4.Filling the setup tables using OLI7BW t-code, got a popu(Data for 2LIS_11_VAHDR has to still transfered)
Do i need clear all the queues for SD-Billings,Orders e.t.c since i have 8 data sources to be cleared apart from 2LIS_11_VAHDR .
Could you please suggest any other option to fillup the setup tables.

Did you run the infopackage twice pertaining to 2lis_11_vahdr.One for delta and another time for repeat delta.As delta queue will hold the records in repeat delta mode as well.
Also in case of Direct Delta --Data is transferred to Base tables and delta queue (RSA7) at the same time.So extraction queue (LBWG )and update tables(SM13) does not come into the picture.

2LIS_11_VAHDR not extract the latest sales

Hi gurus.
I need to make one query with the sales dates. For this, I use 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAITM data sources. The problem is that the sources extract the date between 2003-2005. I need also the sales dates between 2005-2009. I don't haw to make to extract all dates. (when I run the extraction process I give the complete act.)

1) Deleting setup table : tcode :LBWG then give application component 11 (SD SALES BW)
But this would result in deletion of the data in setup table for all the data sources of 11 component.
2)Filling up the setup table for SD SALES Tcode : OLI7BW
Specify the data selection criteria, here u can give the sales documents ranges for ur required period
then
Give the Name the Run and give a future termination date for job Run and execute in the Background
3) Monitor the job then check the data in RSA3.

What executing procedure i ought to implement ? And what other
