RSBBS Jump Query -- Assignment Details

Hi , I went RSBBS Jump Query --> Assignment Details --> InfoObject is Company Code so I (select type "Variable") --> Field Name I tried both Info Object Name("0comp_code")and Variable of Infoobject "0comp_code" is "ZS_CC" Manual entry variable for choosing NYLP OR NYPLP So i tired putting that in Field Name --> Selection Type (E Single Value). But it did not work and reciever query still show me the both NYLP AND NYPLP COMPANY CODE. reason I think of is use of Structure Company code in Receiver query and not the same Variable ("0comp_code")ZS_CC which is used in Sender query. I cannot change the same beacuse of reconicillation issue between two report
Please let me know if I am doing any thing wrong or is there any other way to resolve this quick.

I didn't understand your question, i think you can do this way.
RSBBS Assign your Sender Query and receiver query. In Receiver query i think you have company code then create a variable and should be replacement path and specify the sender query In the next screen in the query option. Then you should be getting only those values for that company code. When u drill down. It should work, wait for others opnion.

Jump Query Assignment Problem

Hi all,
     I have a problem with Jump query. I have Posting Date (variable of type range) in Source Query. Target Query has Invoice Date (variable of type range). Both Posting and Invoice dates variables are identical. In RSBBS setting in the assignment details I assigned Posting Date variable to Invoice date variable. When I try to jump from source to target it is still asking for the Invoice date. Tried different options in the RSBBS assignment but still no luck.
     Any ideas as to how to send Posting Date variable values to Invoice date values.

      Both posting date and Invoice date are part of selection screen entries in both the queries. I cannot remove it.

RSBBS jump query not fetching the document no in R3

Dear Gurus
With RSBBS transcation jump is given to R3 tansaction FB03. When query is executed and with right click go to option and with display document (FB03) its fetching the document no in DEVELOPMENT server . But when the query is transported to Production its not fetching the document no.
Kindly do the needful at the earliest

Have all the pre-requisite settings been done via Tcode SICF.

RSBBS Jump: AR Line Item Query to R3 Customer Line Item Display

I am attempting to create a 'Jump Target' from the 0FIAR_C03 AR Line Item Infocube to the R3 FBL5N Customer Line Item Display transaction.
The query that the jump is to be performed from an Aging query.
The user will be running this query for all transactions posted up to and including the end of the previous calendar month. The posting date is provided by the user when submitting the query (via variable 0P_KEYD2). The aging report works just fine.
Where I'm having the problem is when the user wishes to jump to the R3 transaction FBL5N to display the Customer Line Items. The user wants the 'Line Item Selection' in R3 to inlcude 'Open Items' (this button should be selected -- it is the default setting) where 'Open at Key Date' is to be derived from the query result in the Excel workbook.
I have created the RSBBS Sender/Receiver Assignment so that it goes and retrieves the line items from R3 for the correct customer. However, I have not been able to figure out how to populate the 'Open at Key Date' with the end Posting Date (OPSTNG_DATE) from the query.
I've tried every combination I can imagine in the 'Assignment Details' section in RSBBS, but so far I have not been able to make it work.
Has anyone else out there tried this?

Jump to CATS_DA (field PERNR)- Assignment Details !

Hi,
I need to create a jump from my query in BI to transaction CATS_DA in R/3 ( the underlygin table for this transaction being CATSDB).
I need to jump from 0EMPLOYEE from my BI report to PERNR in the transaciton CATS_DA.
I have created the jump in RSBBS. But i am only able to jump to the initial screen of the transaction CATS_DA. I need to pass the 0EMPLOYEE from which i am jumping to R/3 ....to PERNR in R/3.....
What should be the assignment details to pass the value ?????

RSBBS - Assignment Details

Hello,
I am developing RRI from Sender to Reciever.Target has a variable on EX: ORDER.And the what i would like is when the user from the Sender query clicks on Order > Go to >reciever query can actually se all teh details without putting any additional values.
My concern here is in Assignement detail, do i need to give all types and if so why.Or do i need to just give type for the one i ould like the user to jump to. And in my case what should i be using Generic or InfoObject.I have read the link thats posted in reply to this question but still couldnt get an idea.Can someone please help, points shall surely be assigned.

I'll tell you the concept of RRI ok?
you have a report1(summary) and a detailed report2. Example In Report1 , you have custid, total purchase amount.(summary report)
In report2, you have detailed transactions(at line item level) for a given cust id. i.e; input to this detailed report will be the custid and the report will display all the transactionf for that cust id.
Now, the scenario is , from the summary report, all custids with total purchase amount will be displayed? When you right click one of the custid and jump to the detailed report, you should be able to see the detailed transactions for that custid.
Now lets see how it works.
Here sender is report1, receiver is report2. One of the conditions to link 2 reports using RSBBS is that both the sumary and the detailed level reports should have a comon characteristics to link. Here we custid in both reports.
So, In RSBBS, you mention sender as report1, receiver as report2 and in the other tab, you just mention what kind of report( i remember you may need to mention as BW report). I dont remember(plz. check).
Once this is done, run the summary report Report1, right click any of the custids you will see in the context menu-> drill down-> jump to report2.select that. now u will see detailed transactions for that selected custid.
Technically, how this works is: When you right click a custid and select to jump to the detailed report, that selected custid is passed as a parameter to teh SQL to the detailed report, hence the detailed report knows for which custid , it is supposed to display the data. This is a typical example of a dynamic query, where in the values of the parameter to the query is passed during runtime.

Assigning details in RSBBS using batch input (SHDB). Line selection problem

Hello, Experts!
While trying to use batch input by transation recording in SHDB I faced the problem of selecting line.
The scenario was as follows:
1. create new record in SHDB, transation "RSBBS", asynchronous, no catt, default size checked.
2. Start recording:
2.1 Select sender (query)
2.2 Create receiver (java-application)
2.3 Select line with receiver in table
2.4 assign details
2.5 Save
When I got the record it contains no action for line selection and when I play the record I get the error: "Line is not selected".
How could I define line selection in the bdc-script manually or may be there are some other way to rich the goal - to create a pack of recivers for s sender and to assing details (in my case they are common for all recievers) for each of the reciver?

There is no magic in here. The number lines that you see online may not necessarily be the same as what you get in batch. This is because, online, the SAPGUI can be formatted by the user, so the number of lines you can see can vary by the user.
To overcome this problem, most BDC that have table controls/step-loops are done by using a feature provided within the transaction. This feature enables you to add the new line always at a constant position. In MB11, you can achieve this by pressing 'New Item' after every item. That will enable you to enter the new item always in the first line/position. So you can keep your position as 1 always.
Instead of BDC, why don't you use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.

Authorization issue for Jump query from Summary to Detail

Hello Gurus,
I am facing an interesting issue in Jump query authorization.
I have a query on a summary cube which has Company code as a authorization relevant object .From this query I launch a query on detail cube.This details cube has company code and customer as authorization relevant objects.Customer is present in free characteristic for this query.Summary cube doesnt have the customer object at all.
                 When the user drillsdown on the Customer level in the details query he get the authorization error.After this if he just refreshes the query it works fine .
                   Can anybody please suggest any innovative workaround for this issue.

Jump Assignment Details Question

Sender Query : Fiscal Year, Posting Period,
Receiver Query : Calender Year, Calender Month

Fiscal Year - Setting - Variable - Technical Name of Calender Year Variable.
Posting Period- Setting - Variable - Technical Name of Calender Month Variable.
Question : Can I pass the input values of Fiscals on Sender to Cals on Receiver Query this way??

basically this will not work. In the exit you need to derive the cal month and year from fisc year and period to that to work.

RRI - Jump query, unable to pass the variable value from source to target

Hi,
I've a source query which has a variable on 0vendor, from this query i jump to another query for which i want to pass the this variable value, in the target query i've vendor in free characteristics (no filter or variable in there), and in RSBBS i tried the assignment details options keeping vendor as generic, tried variable and the variable name but nothing seem to work.
But when query is run i can jump into target query but the vendor variable value doesnt get passed thru the values i get in target query is for all rather than for the variable entered vendor value in the source.
btw we're in NW2004s.
any help appreciated with points.

Anyways, I read somewhere that a variable with replacement path in target query would work, tried it seem to work.
let me know if there other way to do it without creating a variable in target query.

BAdI SMOD_RSR00004 for Jump Query

Hi,
I have to create a jump query to an R/3 transaction. The I/O 'Object key' in the BW corresponds to the r/3 field OBJKY of the NAST table. After trying out all the possibilities/ assignments in RSBBS also its not working.
Can anybody pls guide me how to implement BADI for this jump query(RRI for Transaction).

Hi Sandy,
What is the problem you are experiencing exactly?
What I had to do was in the Assignment Details choose Type "3 Table Field" for the infoobject in the query you want to pass to the transaction then fill in the field name for the source table and the fields data element and domain values.
You will also need authorisation to transaction RSRR_WEB in the source for this to work.

Transporting RRI Assignment Details

Hi ,
the following is the method i use to transport RRIs
a) Rsbbs
b) Select Sender query ,press enter
c) Select reansport manually from the environment tab
4) Change package and attach it to a request
In the destination system i'm able to find the jump but the assignment details for this is not transported. All are reset to "generically"

Selection Screen pop up issue - with jump query RRI

Hi Experts,
I am facing one issue regarding Jump Query(RRI) functionality.
I have one query and also one drill down query.
I need to jump from the first query to the drill down query.
To achieve this , I have added the first query as sender in RSBBS T-Code and added the drill down query as Receiver.
I have also done the variable assignment from the Assignment Details tab.
Now the Jump functionality is working.
But , whenever I am jumping to the receiver query , The selection screen pop up is appearing.
I don't want this selection screen to appear during jump.
Please help me in this regard.

For testing purpose , I have used a single query as sender as well as receiver query.
So , the characteristics set is same.
The query is a simple query, with only one input variable.
and I have assigned it, from variable assignment.
But still the selection screen pop up is coming , when trying to jump.

Jump Query not working

Hello Gurus,
I have a problem with Jump query. When i open query in Bex Analyzer and when i right click and goto i can see two queries there. But when i click on any query it opens the complete list of queries to search for.
I checked against RSBBS when i feed the sender query name in Text box and enter i can see 2 receiver query below. which confirms me that it is configured corrrectly so why im not able to jump to receiver query please suggest me.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated with Points

This steps for RRI i.e report to Report Interface !!!!!!
T Code -RSBBS.
Report A-Jump to report B.
Report B-Is Employee Based
Assume u want call report B from Report A
1)GOTO RSBBS
2)Create New
3)Sender Query Give the First Query Report A
4)Below sender Query there is Receiver Query  give the RRI query report B (The query which u want to call).Report type should be BEX ,and Target system--Assign the System(Local) and in the report give the Report B.
5)In the Report A check whether in the GOTO -u get the Receiver Query ,i.e Report B
The Input Variable of Query No 1 will become as the Filter to the Query No 2 and That is the Default propoerty of RRI.
Hence in TCODE RSBBS ,in the Assignment TAB please set that Infoobject on which u have built the variable to DELETE mode instead of Generic and then try.
Pl let us know the settings for the assignments in the RSBBS .
