RSO2-- Deleta Update disabled

Hello All,
I created a Datasource in RSO2 using a Table.
in data source i have date field also.
I have found Delta update Checkbosx was disabled.
I have to enable it, to maintain delta upload in BW. How can I do this? please suggest me.

you must control the plug in,
see the note 536469 ( The delta for the generic extractor only supports one client in PI
2002.1.In systems before 2002.1 Support Package 04, the extraction
simply causes inconsistent data, in systems after Support Package 04,
the system issues a relevant error message (R8 278) when extracting.
As of PI 2003.1, the delta for the generic extractor also controls the
extraction from several clients.)

Ebo designer - Add, delete , update options disable

Hi
I am trying to add a new element in the EBO (Content Editor of EBO designer), or Add creating new package.
The Add, Delete , Update options are disabled which restricts me to add new elements.
In the security realms of WLS the AIA groups are added and clubbed with requisite user (As metioned in Post installation step of AIA 3.0).
Any hint will be highly appreciated.
If anybody have step by step approach for using EboDesigner, kindly share it.

Gaurav,
Ebo Designer developer's guide has the information you are looking for. At a high level, you can only create a package under customer pkg (EBO should be created under customer -> data services). In the editor, make sure your business context is */Customer to create any component, add association etc. Same rule applies to any EBO you want to update. The business context has to be Customer for any operation to work.

How do you permantely delete or disable the add-on toolbar?

The add-on toolbar keeps popping up at the bottom of the browser. I go into View, Tool bars and click to disable the add-on tool bar and it disappears. I browse and, behold, the add-on tool bar appears again at the bottom. I repeat and the same results.
I would like to permanently delete, or disable this tool bar if possible.

How do I insert/Delete/Update a row to the DB Table from Business Component Browser

I am using the wizard and created a project containing Business component which contain some table.
When I run the project I could see "Oracle Business Component Browser(local)" and when I select some table from "View Object Member" I get a window displaying all the field of that table and I could browse all the info.
My Problem is when I try to insert a new record/Delete the existing record or update some record it never gets reflected to the DataBase.
When I try to insert a new row I did save and there was a dialog box displayed saying "Transaction ID is 1". But finally It's not reflected in the Database.
Can some one guide me how can I do insert/delete/update operation from Oracle Component Business Browser so that the changes reflect to the Original DataBase.

This may be a problem of caching. If you do an update,insert, or delete, and do not receive an error, then the transaction should indeed be posted.
I assume you are hitting the Save icon after your changes if you are getting a transaction ID. Are you checking for the updates through another session (i.e. SQL*Plus), or do you then requery the View Object in the tester? Do you exit the tester and come back in and not see the changes?

ORACLE ERROR ORA-32314: REFRESH FAST unsupported after deletes/updates

hi,
I have a materialized view created with fast refresh on demand option. Now when i try to refresh it manually the next day, it gives me an error . I have both count(*) and count(1) inside the materialized view. There is update and delete transactions done on most of the tables. The refresh is set to be at 4 am though a refresh group . But it fails with the error shown below . Please help. thanks

Is there an Identifier in BOMMAT03 to find if the component is to be add/delete/update?
Based on add/delete/update flg, i need to execute a MII transaction after the workflow is executed.

I don't believe there is such identified for component. I think BOMMAT just sends current BOM state and doesn't provide any info about previous object config.

Getting users disabled/deleted with disabled resources in OIM

Hi,
Consider following use case related to OIM:
To get the Users deleted or disabled on a particular date with their 'AD User' resources which are in disabled state.
By means of built in reports i can get the users disabled or deleted for particular date.... how do i get the disabled AD User resource for each user....
i can go for scheduler task but how to proceed on that?

the exact requirement here is to get the users/deleted a day before along with their 'AD User' resources which are disabled
getObjectsByTypeStatus(long plUserKey, java.lang.String psObjectType, java.lang.String psStatus)
Gets a list of all the objects of the specified type that have been provisioned for a user and are in the specified status.
What i can make out here is that:
i need to write some logic that would give users disabled/deleted say yesterday... after this i would loop in these user keys into getObjectsByTypeStatus that would give resources disabled for each user.
Am i correct?
Now how do i get the users disabled/deleted yesterday. This is realised by default Users Disabled/Users deleted report.
But how do i use it in my scheduler

Can I have all list - Insert - Delete - Update in one page
under different Spry Tabs? How can I send these info from one tap

How to delete or disable chart

How can I disable chart from the existing report?
Do I need to go WAD and look for the templet for particular query and check for setting?
Query contains the chart, so I am assuming web template was used to create it. Pleas help me to get some directions and steps to delete or disable the chart.

If you want to disable chart in report you need to go to the WAD template of that particular report and you can remove that chart from the templete.
Chat contains query behind it and query doesn't contains any chart.

Unable to delete update rule

When iam deleting an update rule it is not getting deleted and iam getting message saying underlying infosource does not exists .The underlying infosource is deleted long before any way how come deleting update rule depends on infosource. Please give me solution to delete update rule.

Try going into RSRV and choose All Elementary Tests => Database => Database Information about InfoProvider Tables and Databank Paramerters of *-Schema Tables for Infocube.
Those two options may help to correct the inconsistent state the database is currently in.
Another option .. copy your data target as a backup. Delete the data target, then copy it back.

Whether you are using JSP or not should not affect your decision (though I would recommend checking out the MVC pattern, and recommend against doing data access code from your JSP's).
You simply need one tutorial on how to invoke a stored procedure. The stored procedure you write can have INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE, whatever. You simply have to master the concepts involved in java.sql.CallableStatement. (And then you can get more fancy with vendor-specific extensions).
However, I am a bit confused. You want a tutorial on stored procedures, but then you indicate very normal DML statements like INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. All of these (queries, DML and stored procedures) fall under the general umberella of JDBC. So, it is always a good place to start with a plain ole JDBC tutorial.

You should not have any problem by deleting installers, but I would recommend you to make a backup of your files before modifying any system folder.

AD Identity Service: Delete or Disable users that aren't found?

We currently set users to be "disabled" but then we have to periodically remember to go in there and delete them manually. It also creates issues with duplicate login names. Do you delete your users automatically? I've always been concerned that if something goes wrong with a sync then all my users would be deleted.

We had the same issue here, so I wrote an external operation that piggybacks on the user sync job and deletes any disabled users older than X amount of days. For instance, in our case users are deleted after 180 days of being disabled (this is a bit extreme). This way you can give yourself a few days before the users are actually deleted, but keep the process automated. There are a couple of options built in, which should be discernible from the source code. Here is the source:
