RSPRECADMIN - Clear the Queue jobs.

Greetings Pal,
Need great assistance from u folks.
I've 3 precalc servers, and many jobs are running in parallel and serially. Is there any way to clear the pending jobs in the precalc queue?  Though killing the Bg jobs in SM37 is sensible, i think many jobs (10 for each server) will be in their queue.
So is there any way to delete all the jobs (whatever) of these servers.?
Right click option over the precalculation servers is not working in my system.
I tried the Ctrl+F10 shortcut and it shows the queue list..But the trash button in there is not working ( or should i say i dunno how to use that? )
Any valid comments...?

For stopping the jobs as you said you can go and stop or reschedule in SM37.
For clearing the queue you need to go to RSPRECADMIN -
>Display queue and delele entries.
If this doesnt work restart the precalculation server and check in SCOT if you have any mails in Transit undert SMTP-->Int.

Hope this helps.

  • To Clear the Queue

    Hai Experts!
Requirement: We are using a RFC Lookup in Message Mapping. When there is any Lookup failure then we stoped the message mapping by throughing an Exception. When there is more number of Lookup failed message then we are  facing a block in Queue and futher we cannt continue any message processing.
Atthat time we are mannually clearing the queue and restart the process again.
There is any other way to solve this.Pls guid us.
    Regard's
    Preethi.

    Hi Preethi,
As per my understanding we have to route this messages to seperate queue EOIO. if your messages are getting stucked in Queue when ever the exception occurs you have to manually clear queues..or else the other messages will get piled up in the queue...

  • How can I stop it from uploading and clear the queue?

I'm having a hell of a time uploading these photos to my picasa account. After several attempts to get it working, it is now upload all 1,000+ photos and videos about 4 times. It's been going for almost 24 hours now and I just want to cancel and start over. Right now I can only pause uploading but I can't clear the queue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have to agree the reply came off a bit condesending. People are at all different level of tech competency and that is no reason to make others feel badly. Most of the people on the board are kind and helpful but others.
That's one thing I love about Major Geeks online they are always helpful and you can ask a "foolish" question and never made to feel badly by the people who are members and are just donating time to help others... it's really nice!
I don't automatically update for a month I want to make sure all the bugs are out and find out if there are any problems. I have dyslexia and do not always have time to get through all the information. The new rules and regulations is pages and pages long. And trying to read it on my Iphone 4s was awful. I finally gave up and just agreed. I am not concerned about Youtube as I am losing Google maps. It's not like they put Mapquest in, which is what I always check after Google to see if there is a better way to get where I am going.

  • Why can't I clear the queue on my laptop.

I have a Photosmart  C6380 all in one printer on a net work and one of the computers has a document in the queue that will not cancel .  The laptop is a HP    pavilion dv6000 running windows 7.  I have tried to cancel the document with no success, it says it is deleting but never does. I have tried restarting several times but that doesn't help.

  • Clear the QUEUE

    Hello,
How to clear and/or flush the QUEUE?
Is there a simple step for this?
I was looking at imsimta qm and so forth....
    Thanks,
    AFR

    Just so I fully understand.
You want to remove all messages from the queue?
    imsimta qm clear
or, you can simply delete all the files. You will see messages, but those will be harmless.

  • Clearing the eprint queue after error

We sent two print jobs to eprint and got an email error message that the printer was not connected. We discovered the IP address was missing and traced that to the cable being disconnected accidentally. That is all cleared now and in the process of troubleshooting we updated firmware, etc and restarted/reset computer, printer and router.
We now have an IP address and test print pages worked fine. However, we have not seen the two jobs in the eprint queue come through. We tried sending another one and got an email with the error message that eprint is busy printing other jobs.
Do we need to clear the queue or do something else?

Alright. Let's try this next. Before doing these steps, make sure you have all of the "Pending" jobs cleared out of the print queue.
First, disconnect the power cord from the back of your router.
Next disconnect the power cord from either the back of the printer or the wall, without powering it off first.
Wait about 30 seconds and reconnect the power cord to your router.
Wait about another 30 seconds and plug the printer back in. It should boot back up automatically, but if it doesn't go ahead and press the power button.
Once everything is back up and running, try to send another ePrint.
If this doesn't work for you, reply back in this thread with model of printer you have so that I can give you the next set of steps.

  • Any way to clear the Mail Queue Completely?

So it seems my SMTP service was hacked over the weekend, with someone deciding to use my server to send a whole lot of mail. I've shut down the service and locked down the security hole, but now I have a lot of mail sitting in the queue and it is taking hours to clear it all out by using the Maintenance tab. Is there a quicker, easier way to clear the queue?

    Hi
Rather than using Server Admin it's generally agree to use the command line instead.
    sudo mailq
This command flushes the mail queue
    sudo postfix flush
    To re-queue the mail queue
    sudo postsuper -r ALL
Command to see what's in the mail queue
    sudo postqueue -p
Command to delete everything in the mail queue
    sudo postsuper -d ALL
If you've got lots in there it will take some time. You might benefit by stopping the mail service first:
    sudo serveradmin stop mail
Use this command to restart the service afterwards:
    sudo serveradmin start mail
If you've got a lot of mail in there it will take the time it takes. You will need some patience. This link discusses how you can secure your mail server:
    http://osx.topicdesk.com/content/view/38/41/
Some friendly advice. Secure your server further by placing it behind a firewall. Only open ports required by the Mail Service. If you have to open ssh secure it by using ssh-keygens and disable sshd passwords. Beef up all your passwords.
    My 2p.

  • Notification-daemon: clearing the notifications queue

I'm using notification-daemon (0.7.3-1) and libnotify (0.7.4-1), calling notify-send from an external program. After several notifications have popped up (not sure of the number), they stop appearing, but still show up in the queue, which is accessible from the notification area (using GNOME 3 with xmonad). The only way I've found to clear the queue and have the notifications start appearing again is to click the "Clear Notifications" button in the system tray queue window.
You'd think notify-send would have an option to do this. I would love to just use dbus directly, but can't seem to find anything in the doc for clearing the queue (best I could find was http://www.galago-project.org/specs/notification/0.9/ ). The queue viewer is clearly able to do it, so there's got to be a mechanism.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your post.
I am trying to involve someone to further look at this issue. There might be some time delay. Appreciate your patience.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

  • Automatic clearing of queue with HP-LJ4250TN on IPP

After installing my HP LJ4250 network printer over IPP it prints but doesnt automatically clears the printing queue and it holds on pause. I have to manually clear the queue and resume printing everytime. Sometimes when I print a doc of multiple pages it breaks down the print job in different tasks also and I am not able to print a whole document at once without clearing the queue tasks finished and resuming the job.
I installed the printer using CUP and got the driver that came with Mac OS X (10.6.4). Does anyone knows how to resolve this problem?

    Unfortunately...same problem exists
I also get a fast message that the printer doesn't support IPP and there after print job accepted. It does print but doesn't empty the queue and sets the printer queue on pause. For a next printing job I have to clear the queue manually and resume printing.
    Any more suggestions?

  • Document on the queues

    Hi
we have recently installed the SAP 7.0.. just been wondering like if any one document on how to set up the queues and what are main points we need to be considered while configuring the queues..
    SV

    1)  clear the queues in SMQ2,first try to activate them,if that doesn't work them delete them
2)You may need to re-register your queues.
Follow SXMB_ADM -> Manage Queues -> Deregister Queues
Afterwards, re-register the queues and activate from the same screen
3)Only use SMQ1 (outbound queues) and SMQ2 (inbound queues) if re-registering doesn't fix it. You will need to give the queues sometime to get activated so be patient.
4)From SXMB_MONI go to Queue ID of the message, a click here shall take you to qRFC monitor.
if the messages are stuck, you should see an entry indicating number of messages stuck in the queue.
a double click on the entry shall take you to detailed list.
if the messages are stuck because of any error (other than queue not registered etc for e.g. a message failure) then the first message shall show you that.
if indeed you find a message stuck in the queue then the way is to delete the stuck message (DONT DO THIS IN PRODUCTION SERVER without being sure of what does this mean for that particular process !!) and unlock the queue from previous screen.
5)Go to smq2 and execute F8. Then it should come as Nothing was Selected.
If any queues are present then open a queue.if the status is SYS ERROR check the entries, right click on the status text and give save LUW.This brings queue to READY. .
GoTo-> Qin Scheduler: check for the scheduler status to be inactive->Edit-> Activate Scheduler: status frm inactive to starting to wait. Now the queue will be RUNNING.U can see the entries in the queue moving.
Now go to SMQ3, right click on the queue and give Restore LUW.
6)this basically means tht message is waiting in the queue.
in sxmb_moni go to queue Id column and double click on the entry .It will take u to SMQ2.Check the status of the queue
If its SYSFAIL or STOP then double click on it and try to correct the error. After correcting the error send the message again. Also check whether the Queeu is Registred in transaction SMQR.
7)Select your queue form the sxmb_moni, you will reacht he QRFC monitor.
Here you will see some lock figures on the , Select on the 'Unlock Queues'. Activate your queues once again.
This is if your data is correct and queue is stuck. You should only delete the queue if it has errored out due to incorrect data and you need to urgenetly process the rest of the data in the queue.
If you drill down one step more than selct the error message and on the menu select edit-->Save LUW.

  • Why the queue is locked in SMQ2?

Sometimes,I find the queue would be locked in SMQ2 ,so i have to release the locked queue so that it can keep on working normally.
I'd like to know what reason can cause the queue locked ?Once the queue is locked, how to get the notificaion?
    thanks in advance.

  • Clearing print queue without app

I was able to print a document from my iPad to a wireless printer without having AirPrint installed on my iPad. The document continues to print over and over. How can I clear the queue without the app?

How can you print a document without some sort of app at all? You have to either use the computer as the print server or you need an app on the iPad that will print.
Worst case scenario, shut the printer off and unplug it to reset it.
