RSS Feeds in Dreamweaver

I run a website created in Dreamweaver CS3. I now wish to add
an RSS feed, allowing visitors to my site to subscribe. However, I
am totally new to this sort of thing, and have no idea how to
create an RSS feed.
Doing a Google search, I find references to something called
Dreamfeed. But in Dreamweaver CS3 Help there is nothing about this
or about RSS. Nor is there anything about RSS in my Peachpit Press
Dreamweaver guide.
I realise this may be a pretty basic/dumb question, but I
would really welcome some guidance on where to start.

Is it possible to create an RSS feed in Dreamweaver CC (Mac 10.8.5)?

Using xml rss feeds in dreamweaver

I used dreamweaver to configure a rss feed in my webpage.
One thing led to another and I was forced to reinstall my php
server via
xampp
Now when I load the page on my computer I have this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method domdocument::loadXML()
in
N:\INETPUB\xampp\htdocs\1purpose_bethel\includes\MM_XSLTransform\MM_XSLTransform.class.ph p
on line 303
I checked the includes folder and I do have the class file
MM_XSLTransform.class.php
but what I am wondering is if there is a place in my php.ini
file that needs
to modified to allow for the RSS feed? Or is there something
else that I am
over looking?

Hi, I'm also having the same error. I found in some other
forums that I should do the following (I think its you David who
suggested it):
comment the line --> $xml =
DOMDocument::loadXML($content);
then add these two lines
$doc = new DOMDocument();
$err = $doc->loadXML($content);
Well, actually when MM_XSLTransform.class.php was created it
was already updated. But I'm still getting the error.
I'm still a baby in PHP and I've been trying to figure it out
for 2 days and nothing is happening.

Create RSS feed in Dreamweaver CS6

Is there a tutorial or other documentation describing how to add an RSS feed to a page in Dreamweaver (CS6)?

Let me explain, the link to the RSS shows a demonstartion of an RSS feed that originates from this forum. The reason why you did not see your post anymore is because there are (were) newer posts that replaced yours.
This demonstration page was made using Dreamweaver and the markup can be seen when you right click the page and choose View Source or similar.
The demo site was hand coded, but there is very little to it if you have a look at the source code.
I also suggested an alternative if you do not know how to hand code.
If this is not what you want, then please explain what it is that you do want.

Rss feed, xml, dreamweaver and updating newsletters

Hello
Ok.. tell me if I'm wrong but I am under the impression that
somehow I can subscribe to an RSS Feed or download an xml current
news story almost straight into an HTML(ASP, COLD FUSION?) file(s)
and upload to my companies FTP to give our customers a current
customized newsletter.. is this so? is it a spry data set type
importing thing? My company is looking for me to streamline the was
we process new news stories..

I've created a website template in Dreamweaver CS3. We need
to insert an RSS feed that will allow our web site to receive news

Dreamweaver and RSS feed

Hi,
I want to integrate rss so I found that there is an rss dreamfeeder but it not free. does someone knows a free solotion to integrate with dreamweaver to do the RSS stuff?

Does Dreamweaver CS3, which I just got, generate RSS feed?
Right now I'm using FeedForAll, but I'd prefer to generate my
site's feed through Dreamweaver. (My site is SlowReads.com.) I've
just switched to a Mac and don't want to pay for a new FeedForAll
license.
If Dreamweaver CS3 doesn't generate RSS feed, does anyone
know if DreamFeeder, an extension available through Adobe's web
site, is okay for Dreamweaver CS3? It says that it's made for MX
& MX 2004.

You certainly can do this with Dreamweaver CS3 to create RSS
feed. You can take a look at Adobe Labs technologies for further
details.

Please refer to Spry link. There are pretty good information on how
to work with Spry framework through links provided by Dreamweaver

What is the max size of a mp3 file you can add to an RSS feed?

I am working on adding a mp3 file to my website with an RSS
feed. I want to use it for a podcast. I am new to the xml language
and was using a freeware program to generate the script but it will
only let me upload a file around 10MB. My mp3 file is around 45MB.
Is this going to be too big of a file that will need to be broken
down or is there another way to do it? Does dreamweaver have
preformatted templates to make pages needed for podcasts? Thanks
for your time.

I don't understand. Why (or how) would you want to embed a
binary format in an xml file? What problem could this possibly

RSS feed with thumbnails

I'm creating a website where I have a classifieds section with featured ads which I can generate an RSS feed with images for.
I am looking for a way to set up an rss reader on my dreamweaver homepage which would scroll through the featured ads, which is easy enough to do with the title and description, but I would also like to include the thumbnails.
I just thought about it because of NetVibes, here's an example on the top left:

This google ajax API is perfect if I can figure out how to diplay the thumbnails.

RSS Feed causes elements to diplace?

I am working on a site ( http:www.insurance-comparisons.info
). Every time I put in the PHP coded, rss feed, generated by a
program called RSS Content Builder in my page the other elements
get displaced. I am very new to dreamweaver and this is giving me
fits. I am trying to build several sites with this feed and have
had problems stabilizing others as well. Please help.

I've been using Firefox with the Sage extension to surf the web and handle RSS feeds. I've never managed to fix safari.
