[RSS] Incluir RSS de otra web

Hola amigos,
Alguien tiene alguna idea cómo incluir los RSS de otra
web en un php??
He probado cosas que he encontrado en Google pero ninguna me
funciona :-(

I'm looking for a way to show RSS feeds inside a Web Dynpro Application. I didn't find any information that really helped me.

You don't have to use these classes from Sun that I used then, there are certainly other alternatives in the meantime, e.g.
https://rome.dev.java.net/
In essence, you have to create an action to read from the RSS feed, parse the retrieved XML file and fill a context structure from these data, and dynamically recreate the UI elements that display these RSS items.
If you are on NW 7.0, you can probably use the RowRepeater UI element to display the RSS items stored in the context node.

Display my wordpress events using rss

Ok, i really need some help. I've done lots of searching and not much sleeping for the past few days trying to sort this out.
Im trying to put a list of events on a homepage that display with an image for each event. I have managed to setup an events list in wordpress and was planning to send it to the iweb site using the RSS plugin in iweb. My problem is that iweb is listing the event by the post date and not by the event date.

as you can see the order is different on the home page to the oder in wordpress. Im guessing there is a HTML code i can paste into the HTML snippet but i dont know what it is or where to find it.
Is there a better way of achieving what im trying to do?

Its not simple at all. The events cannot be posted in they occur. If one event is booked for next november, I want to list in now. If i list any other event between now and November, it will appear after the dates listed in November.
The feature needs to be able to be updated without opening iweb, which is why i have used wordpress. surly this is a simple thing?

RSS Bug getting closer to a fix... I really need your help!! Please?

Background: Cannot get SUBSCRIBE button to shoot me into iTunes/podcasts like it did before in v06.
Situation: (iWeb08) and http://www.threeboysproductions.com is a godaddy domain buy. http://web.mac.com/captmench is the actual address.
LONG AND SHORT: I really need to get rid of the www.threeboysetc from anywhere in iWeb but I can't seem to find a way.
Here's why:
Clicking on SUBSCRIBE from my Zachary's Film page generates this address:
http://www.threeboysproductions.com/Site/Zachary_Films/rss.xml
which, if you click on it you'll get the homepage. Why? Not sure but anything past the www.threeboyspetc/ just sends you to the homepage.
so
change www.tbp.com to actual title and you get a nice RSS feed:
http://web.mac.com/captmench/Site/Zachary_Films/rss.xml
HOWEVER --
Take any of those feeds and you'll get the main page again because they all say www.threeboysproductions.com.
For Example this from the RSS feed:
http://www.threeboysproductions.com/Site/ZacharyFilms/Entries/2007/8/25_FirstDinner.html
Sends you back to homepage
change it from www.threeboysproductions... and:
http://web.mac.com/captmench/Site/ZacharyFilms/Entries/2007/8/25_FirstDinner.html
It works fine!!

Ok... part of this might have come from the migration to 08. I had to trash my old site and rebuilt from ground up (using the same dirt, I think) and maybe I ended up keeping some of the old information.

The part iWeb/Site/ThreeBoys.html must be from your old version , so you may want to look at your forward config at your domain host.
You may want to talk to your domain host, because the forward frame is generated by them.

RSS Subscribe Button point to old domain name?

Hey,
A .mac site I am help maintain is doing something strange with the RSS feeds.
http://web.mac.com/calvarymissions/CCMA/home.html
There are currently 2 blog style pages on there and both of the RSS feeds point to an old domain name address rather than the .mac address.
I've looked through the posts here, but haven't been able to find a solution. I've checked on another computer using iweb and this problem doesn't occur, so I figure it's a setting on that editing machine?
Any idea's?

Make sure that you have nothing set in the Personal Domain part of the .Mac account settings.

IWeb RSS feeds

I have an iWeb blog that allows subscription through RSS. I've found that the RSS feed mixes up the photos and the blog entries (so the photo from one entry will end up being associated with a different entry). Sometimes the pictures are repeated, and sometimes the picture associated with a particular entry will change, apparently at random. Is there any way I can fix this?

The only solution I have found this evening is to make a minor change to easy blog entry - then re-publish it all. Even if it's just a removal and replacement of a single character/letter, this has worked for some. I am still looking for a better answer, though.

I can't use JSTL tag for read rss.

Ok, I did a bit more experimenting, and web searching, and found you are the victim of the UTF-8 BOM bug.
Basically the java UTF-8 reader does not recognise a BOM at the start of a UTF-8 stream, and it has to be discarded manually.

Porblemas al comprimir la web en gzip con webpro.js

yo he podido comprimir la web de ejemplo que estoy haciendo con Adobe Muse http://restaurant.siulgrafic.com, con el tutorial que he encontrado en esta otra web, http://contratatuweb.es/blog/como-hacer-una-compresion-gzip-con-htaccess/ realiza la compresión gzip, pero me sale una ventana en el navegador al cargar la web, con el siguiente texto:

This error indicates the scripts folder and/or the files within the scripts folder are not being found. Are they on your server?

KM News creation for different layouts using xml form builder

Dear All,
We have a scenario where we need to create a xml template to generate KM News. The same KM News template should have three different show forms (with different design layouts).
At Edit form there will be 3 option buttons based selection of these option button respective Show form should be displayed.
Ex:
If the user selects "Option 1" it should show "ShowForm 1"
If the user selects "Option 2" it should show "ShowForm 2"
If the user selects "Option 3" it should show "ShowForm 3"
Any help will be appreciated and rewarded points.

Thanks Gramps. I cleaned my code per your suggestion, but still not working. Suspect problem is w/ my old version of IE (5.2), as even sites I know are good don't preview there.

Anyone have a problem submitting podcast to a personal domain with iWeb 08?

I created a new website with several podcasts and published fine to a personal domain. Works great. When I try to submit the podcasts to iTunes through iWeb I get the following error message:
"We had difficulty reading this feed. Bad http result code:401"
Anyone else get this? Is the personal domain messing with the feed?
Any help appreciated.

Well... I have mine from godaddy...
In iWeb06 the redirect was a long URL... now it's shorter (or so it seems).
GoDaddy still handles the redirect - like it did before.
The change happens in the CSS scripting (HTML?) where iWeb thought it needed to send the RSS to www.threeboysproductions.com it wasn't taking in iTunes.
Forcing iWeb to rewrite the RSS script to web.mac.com/captmench.
People wanting to go to www.tbp.com still can... and see it as such. The subscribe at iTunes won't matter.

Photocast access with other browsers!

Hi All,
According to Apple when you create a Photocast you can veiw with any browser capable of reading RSS on Windows or Mac. Well on my Windows box I have tried Mozilla, Firefox and Exploder, with no luck. I use Firefox with the Wizz RSS extension to read RSS feeds all the time, but all these browsers give me an error:

You probably know that you can subscribe to an iPhoto 6 photocast even if you don't have iLife '06. If you use any of the more-recent versions of Safari (i.e., with RSS support), the link in the photocast announcement will work fine as is. But other browsers, even those with RSS support like Firefox, are taken to an error page. But fear not. The following procedure will allow Firefox users (even those on Windows, I think) to subscribe to an iPhoto 6 photocast:
1. In Firefox, go to Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks..., and then choose File -> New Live Bookmark. ("Live Bookmarks" are Firefox's way of abstracting RSS.)
2. Enter the photocast URL from the announcement, substituting web.mac.com for photocast.mac.com, e.g.:
http://web.mac.com/sjobs/iPhoto/my-...ocast/index.rss
3. The titles of the photocast images will then appear in a submenu, either on your toolbar (if that's where you added the bookmark), or in your bookmarks menu. Selecting the images by title will display those images in the browser.
The key insight here is that photocast.mac.com is not the root of the actual RSS feed of the photocast. Instead, that server redirects Safari and iPhoto to the real RSS feed at web.mac.com. This corresponds to a folder under the top-level Web folder inside your iDisk, which contains the actual images and the index.rss file. Using the URL at web.mac.com allows other browsers that use the RSS standard to subscribe to the photocast.

I had the same experience when I tried using Firefox. I could create a New Live Bookmark, and after I entered the info, a new folder appeared with an icon of the world. But there was no feed address next to it and when I clicked it, nothing happened.
I did find this helpful article on alternative RSS readers for PC users:

However, this article recommends going into IPhoto and changing the automated Photocast Announcement. I do NOT recommend this. When I did it, and then reopened IPhoto, the menu option for Photocasting disappeared completely! I recommend taking the suggested announcement text and links to RSS feeders in this article, and making it a signature in your email program. Then when you are announcing your Photocast, you can simply choose that signature, rather than mess around with the inner workings of IPhoto.

Pinging Oddity - iTunes

Hi
I want to air this out here before I contact the iTunes store.
Prior to the switch to MobileMe back in July, I would ping the iTunes store each time our podcast was updated via iWeb. The URL I used:
https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/pingPodcast?id=269673282
The show would appear on my iTunes page within the hour of the ping. Never failed.
To this day, if I use that ping address, a confirmation returns confirming the ping. The address returned on the confirmation is:
http://web.mac.com/geminiawakening/Gemini_Awakening/Podcast/rss.xml
Over the past two months, a significant delay (over 1 week) has been occurring between the time the update is released and appearing on my iTunes page.
After going round and round with iTunes store personnel with no resolution, I realized today for the first time a difference exists in the Address returned on the above Ping from iTunes vs. the actual Feed address now assigned by iWeb.
For example, after the switch from .Mac to .Me, the RSS feed address was changed by iWeb to
http://web.me.com/geminiawakening/Gemini_Awakening/Podcast/Podcast.html
or the RSS feed
feed://web.me.com/geminiawakening/Gemini_Awakening/Podcast/rss.xml
If I use either of these addresses to ping iTunes (using
https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/pingPodcast?feedURL=http://FEEDURL, where I substitute for FEEDURL either the .me http address or .me XML feed address, a message returns "No Podcast Found for Ping Request".
Is there a way out of this apparent Catch 22, where I can ping iTunes successfully with the correct feed address provided by iWeb?
BTW, if I enter the address returned from the iTunes ping in my browser, a RSS feed page appears, showing only 1 show (most current). If I click on the RSS icon, the page will not switch over to the http page. By contrast, using the .me address shows the RSS page with all shows, and the switch over to http works correctly.
Also, I list my show on Podcast Pickel. Each current show appears within the hour of updating to MobileMe. Go figure.

What type of storage is needed for iTunes U

We are getting up and running iTunes U on our University and we are running into the issue of what type of storage we need to provide for iTunes U, i.e. (web share, afp share, smb share. If you could let me know or point me in the direction i need to go it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Scott,
The [administraton guide|http://deimos.apple.com/rsrc/doc//iTunesUAdministrationGuide/Introduction /chapter1_section1.html] doesn't explicitly state what type of server is necessary, but given that iTunes U is based on RSS feeds, a Web server would be a good choice for hosting your content (much like hosting any podcast).
