RSS not showing numbers

For some reason the number of new RSS articles are not showing in my bookmarks bar. This began yesterday. I had one article "hung" with 29 new. I could go to the page but it would not clear. I went to prefs and cleared them all but the new ones are still not showing as numbers. The new ones are on the pages when I go there but the numbers are not showing. I quit Safari and restarted, clicked the prefs check boxes on and off after restarting and have restarted OS X.
Any suggestions?

Rss not showing as red with numbers next to it.

With the old FF the RSS tabs at top of my tab bar show when new messages were posted by going red, and with a (4) next to it.
Now it does no longer do this, and I have no way of knowing new posts etc unless i go over it.

If you use (as in your example), 40% to center the item as required, on a page width of 1000px (set by the user by resizing the browser), then the item will be 400px from the left. If you use 40% on a page size of 800px (set by the user), then the item will be 320px from the left.
For the sake of easy numbers, lets say the combined width of the image and text is 200px. Then if I set the left-margin to be 40% then for a 1000px width display, the content will be perfectly centered. The left side of the div will be 400px from the left, and the right side of the div would be 400px from the right.
If the screen was resized to 2000px, then the left side of the div would be 800px from the left side. The right side of the div however would be 1000px from the right side, so the div would not be centered.
Unless im mistaken (always a possibility!), that means this method does not always center the content perfectly for a fixed width layout.
Ive read that the text-align:center property doesnt always work for images. Could I get around this but having a div with the image and text in it, and annother div around that with the text-align:center. This looks fine on FireFox, but IE and older browsers are normally the problem.

Dialpad not showing numbers pressed during a call

During a call ( eg: automate service call, the one which require you to press certain number during a call ),
when I press the numbers on the dialpad, the numbers won't display on screen.
The numbers I press actually goes thru the line, because the other side of the phone line does responds correctly to the number I pressed.
Also, I can hear the dial pad touch tones.
I also have a Xperia Z, and the numbers show up fine.
It's not the proximity sensor problem. The sensor works fine.
I've tried Force Stop the dialer app, restart the phone ( normal power off and turn off by the little button next to the sim card),
all doesn't work.
I don't want to Factory reset yet, because I don't want to lose all setting and data.

If clearing the app data does not work then please do try a software repair:
1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

Firefox does not show numbers in arabic format when the windows regional settings is set to arabic, instead it shows numbers in latin characters

when switching windows regional settings to Arabic, numbers are still shown in Latin characters, unlike other browsers (ex IE).

To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

You have to do it app wise, which means that the icon won't show up in settings, but you will be able to move files from your local drive to iCloud via the Numbers app (move... > choose the iCloud option).
It requires that you set up the same iCloud account on all your devices and that you have the latest version of Numbers on all your devices as well.

Your first question:
There might be a better way of achieving what you wish to do, but following these steps could help you out.
You might want to blend in Thumbnails and Invisibles either with (cmd+shift+i and cmd+alt+p) or over the View section in the Menubar.
1. go for Documents (right end of the Toolbar) -> Section
2. place your cursor at the very top of your second page and click "Create new Section->Starting with this page" in the side bar on your right.
(what you are actually doing next is setting the pagenumbers for each section you created. You can see your sections in the Thumbnail view.)
3. click on your first page (the first and only page of your first section) and mark the checkbox "Hide on first page of section"
4. click on your second page (the first page of your second section) and "Insert page number" -> start at 1
Your second question:
Im not quite sure i understand what exactly you want to do here. One page, two columns, each column with another page number? As far as i know this is not possible.

Back up and document syncing are not the same thing.
To sync documents between devices you need to enable document syncing in iCloud on all devices.

Podcast graphic not showing Iweb rss not the same as Technotes

I noticed that the graphic for my podcasts are not showing in itunes. Pinged and changed them to 300*300 jpg.and changed name of file and you can get to the file from the url. Week later still no change but text updates ok. Just have the generic file. Also the categories in Iweb are out of date so need to use a find and replace to fix them al the time.
Anyone else got the same problem?

Make sure your rss feed is all ok by going here http://www.feedvalidator.org/
and putting in your fee which is

Fill in all the(yoursitename) with your sitename like jeffrobinson.
Now yours may be different but you can see the path by going to your .mac in the finder and looking in the Web folder, then the sites folder, then the iWeb folder, and there is your site name on the enclosed folder. Remember that any spaces in a name are %20 in the url. Clear as mud eh?
The other way is to look at your iWeb site in iWeb, find your podcast page on the left and the first main page of your podcast is the rss feed you need to validate so surf to it in safari and copy the url and put it in the validator above. Look at the results and tell me what they are or just send me the url here and Ill have a look for you. OK?

Numbered bullet character style with underline not showing

Hi,
I have a paragraph style for numbered bullets where I've used a character style for the numbered bullet.
The character style has an underline applied so the effect looks like white text on a blue box, the blue box being created by the underline.
The 'Paper' coloured number is showing, I can see it by placing a coloured box behind the text box to test.
But the blue underline is not showing. When I apply the character style on other text it works fine.
Could this be a bug?

"Paper" is the colour I am using for the character colour and then using another named colour for the underline.
But it is happening the same as you suggest in your screengrab.
In my screengrab below I have put in a black box to show that there is no underline appearing!
And my paragraph style with that character style applied:
So how do we submit this as a bug? And why hasn't it been fixed before now?!!!

CSM does not show rule numbers when using sections?

I started using sections in access rules within CSM 4.2 but all the rules that are within these section do not show anymore the rule number in the list.
Can this be changed? Is this a bug?

The numbers are shown, but you have to expand the column. Somehow cisco makes the no. column to small to see the numbers in a section by default. And they replace the numbers with a dot or two as soon as it is too small to display the numbers.

The text numbers 08 will not show up in mountain lion

the text numbers 08 will not show up in mountain lion. i did a software update after i installed and it did not solve the problem.
Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

Restart the computer.
Repair Permissions in Disk Utility.
Check fonts and clear out bad ones in Font Book.
Try in another User Account.
Any luck?
