Can you help me with an updated package?
thank you very much

Hi,
thank you for responding.
I tried using the directions on the link that you have written.
Unfortunately, the fourth step, when I write

  • Is Linux X86-64(AMD) 64bit OS certified with 10.1.2.0.2?

    Hi,
    Is Linux X86-64(AMD) 64bit OS certified with 10.1.2.0.2 ?
    I found from the Metalink->Certify that it is certified and that 10.1.2.0.2 - 32 bit can be used with Linux X86-64(AMD) 64bit OS.
    But I found the following too in the Metalink->Certify
    Processor Chip Information:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Information from Certify Matrix:
    Oracle Linux x86-64 support on AMD64/EM64T and Intel Processor Chips will only
    be on chipsets that adhere to the x86-64 architecture with supported Linux
    releases. Running Oracle Database 32-bit on AMD64/EM64T (64-bit OS) is not
    supported.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Does this mean that Oracle Databse 32-bit on AMD64/EM64T (64-bit OS) is not supported or the Application Server 10.1.2.0.2 is not supported??
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sindhiya V.

    Small addendum:
    There is a separate Oracle RDBMS release for the Linux AMD64/EMT64 platform which is what you found in the certification matrix. The standard 32-bit Oracle code shouldn't be used on it (nor would you really want to regardless).
    As for the app server, it is the same distribution for both the standard 32-bit x86 and the AMD64/EMT64 platforms. A majority of it will run in 32-bit mode (linux32 bash is your friend); the salient difference which may or may not make a difference in your infrastructure: it supports >4GB JVM's with a 64-bit JDK.

    Hi
    Oracle 8.1.7 (relase 3) can be ordered for Solaris X86 for Intel. Please contact your local Oracle Sales representative on how to order these.
    Alternatively, you can also check with the Oracle Store in technet.oracle.com

  • Install windows 8 64bit on 64bit architecture tablet(acer iconia w4-820) by removing the preloaded 32bit windows 8.1 or dual boot

    Hi,
    I need to install windows 8 64bit on a 64bit architecture Tablet(acer iconia w4-820) by removing the preloaded 32bit windows 8.1 or should make it as dual boot. For a project purpose.
    I tried booting the tablet from windows 8 64bit DVD for installation but it does't even detect the DVD Drive. when i insert the recovery DVD which came with acer it gets detected.
    The windows 8 64bit DVD which am trying to install is volume licensed which we use to install on our laptops. That works fine with Laptops.
    Is their any different version of windows 8 do i need to try for installing on Tablet(acer iconia w4-820) or where am i going wrong.
    Thank for your help.

    SM
    DISCLAIMER.  I would contact Acer about this to be safe, but if you only have one HD in the tablet you are going to have to do a clean install by formatting the HD.  You cant run 64 bit & 32 bit on the same drive AFAIK.

    I do follows:
    write the file ' /kernel/drv/nei.conf ' with ' name="nei" parent="isa" reg=0x1,0x0300,0x1f interrupts=10 '
    and use the command: drvconfig -i nei --failed
    use the command: drv_add -i nei; devlinks; --there is no the command drv_add
    use the command: touch /reconfigure; reboot
    after reboot, use the command: ifconfig nei0 plumb --failed
    Did I miss something obvious, or what driver should I use?

    After backing up the suspect hard drive, I ran Disk Repair on it and found no problems. Then ran Disk Warrior again and no problems. It is a Hitachi, btw.
    As for the PrefPane issue: Repairing disk permissions on the main volume and on the partition that holds the system did not make any difference.
    Reinstalled the 10.5.8 upgrade, performed safe start and then repaired permissions again. Still getting a blank PrefPane for network.
    Next step is to try and trash the System Configuration plist and Network Interfaces plist.

    Thanks for any help
    I think others have answered most of your questions, but you indicated that "iTunes 10 is for Intel Macs only" -- that is not actually correct, you can certainly run iTunes 10 on your G5 PowerPC. What you need to do is:
    (1) upgrade to 10.5 operating system
    (2) upgrade to iTunes 10
    While Apple doesn't officially sell 10.5 anymore (Apple sells 10.6, but 10.6 won't install on your G5 PowerPC), if you call their 800 number and explain that you need it to use your new iPhone, they may be able to sell you a copy from old inventory. Alternatively, some retailers are still selling older inventory 10.5 install DVDs but you need the version that installs on any computer, many 10.5 disks are made for a specific model only.
    Before you do either (1) or (2) above, make sure you have enough memory as indicated by Apple in their system requirements. If you need more memory, it is inexpensive to upgrade.

    Hi,
    The SAP kernel comes as two parts, one is DB dependent and the other is DB independent. The best practice in upgrading the kernel is to update both the parts at the same time. Make sure that u have chosen the right component from the list of kernels in SAP SMP.
    The kernel files are available in the following path,
    http://service.sap.com/swdc
    SAP Support Packages --> My Company's Application Components --> SAP KERNEL 64-BIT UNICODE --> SAP KERNEL 7.01 64-BIT UNICODE

    There doesn't exist an SQL Express "Standard". It's two different editions.
    For Express there are three 32bit/64bit editions:
    Express, Express with Tools and Express with Advanced Services.
    Express with Tools is essentially Express with Management Studio Tools, Express with Advanced Services adds also BI (Business Intelligence) + Reporting Services.
    As for where you can apply the cumulative update, on the link you can see this:
        Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2, when used with:
            Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services
            Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Developer
