RTF for PO Out for communication

Hi All,
My question is for all people who have succeeded in creating a rtf template from scratch for a Purchase order using the standard XML obtained from XML Publisher Responsibility.
I want to the know the procedure to do. I am trying to create it from scratch but getting a strange error while generating to XSL.(Something related Encoding/Decoding).
I am sure many might have succeeded in doing this.
Please guide me through.
Thanks

How can I get the template( word rtf ) for PO – Printed Purchase Order ? XML Publisher Administrator -> Templates
find by code or name
open it and you can downloadtemplate by "download" button

any one have the pinout or know where I can get it for the TX2000 touch screen.  I'm looking to put this into my car as a monitor for my carputer. HP techs can you help me out. Many thanks.

    Hello mricci,
As long as it is not customer induced damage, the screen is replaceable under your warranty. I do not believe changes in temperature would be considered CID. In other words, as long as you didn't drop it or throw it, it should be replaceable. I would contact the Ideapad Support line and schedule a repair for it.
Keep in mind for future references that when a computer is exposed to temperatures coler than 32 F, the liquid in the lcd can freeze up when that happens. To warm up the computer, it must be exposed little by little to a warmer temperature to avoid damage to the screen and condensation to it's internal hardware. Hope that helps.

  • Time out condition for FTP parameters in communication channel

    Hi
Could you please tell what should be the maximum limit for time out condition in receiver file communication channel for FTP.
it should be either 120,90 or 60 seconds or can we exceed time than this?
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards,
    Harleen Kaur Chadha

There is no hard limit, but the time limit should be less than the polling interval: if you set the polling interval to 60 seconds, your timeout interval should be less than that value. If you exceed this value, you have the risk of an adapter deadlock (adapter stops polling)
You can imagine that a timeout interval of 300 seconds would not make much sense.

  • Replacing PO Out for Communication

    Hi,
We have a custom BIP Report for printing POs. Now we want to replace the PO Out for Communication program with our new custom program so that PO Approval workflow will pick the output generated by the custom template. Please let me know if someone has already done this.
    Thanks in advance.

ICX was already checked.... The Issue got resolved when I select the check box "Can Change Forward-To" in the Setup --> purchasing --> Document type window for Standard Purchase Order.

  • Dynamic Configuration for two file adapters communication channels

    Hello Experts!!!!!!
In one of the interface in my landscape, I am using two file adapters for creating two files with different names and at two different destination on F.T.P.
However the receiver service for both the communication channel are same.
In message mapping I am using multi mapping to create two files out a single message.
Now i have a requirement of changing file path and file name using dynamic configuration for both the comm channel.
When i doing dynamic coniguration for both the comm. channel. My interface is creating two files but with same name and on same destination which is set for second communication channel through dynamic configuration.
Here, I guess the second dynamic configuration is over writing the first dynamic configuration and hence creating two files with same name and at same destination.
Please suggest, if separate dynamic configuration for separate communication channel of same receiver service can be done?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Amol

    Thanks for your prompt responses!!!!!
Is there any way, By which in dynamic configuration I can find out the communication channel name and then change its parameter.
I mean if iam using say comm. channel A and B.
Then in dynamic configuration for A, I will first take communication channel A by calling it and then change its path/file name.
and then do samething for comm. channel B in its dynamic conf.

    Amol

  • Apex 4.0 install note - watch out for PLSQL_OPTIMIZE_LEVEL 3 in 11g!

    Hi all,
I just wanted to share a tidbit I found during installation Apex 4.0 on an 11.2.0.1.1 database on a slower computer...
We had our PLSQL_OPTIMIZE_LEVEL set to 3 to enable code-inlining for PL/SQL objects - and this REALLY slowed down the apex installation big time. It was so slow I aborted the install, then restarted after setting it down to level 2.
After setting it to level 2 - it really sped up and installed fine.
I just wanted to share this in case others run into a hanging install like I did...
I'm thinking that apexins.sql should be modified to "ALTER SESSION SET plsql_optimize_level = 2;" before proceeding - but before then - be sure to keep an eye out for this...
    Good luck!
Edited by: Philbewan on Jun 24, 2010 6:14 PM

    Hi Phil,
    Thanks for posting this information.
I've installed APEX 4.0 with optimization level 3 and code=type = native in an 11.2.0.1 database, and you're correct - it took a while. And I imagine on a "slower computer", this will take even longer. But I reason this is to be expected - you're asking the PL/SQL optimizing compiler to be most aggressive in its optimization against the PL/SQL objects of Application Express...and as you know, there is a lot of PL/SQL in Application Express.
Also, the installation and compilation step is a one-time event. If you're looking for maximum performance for each and every page view (execution of the APEX engine for millions of page views), the extra cost of time associated with installation seems almost trivial, by comparison.
I don't agree that apexins.sql should be modified to alter the PL/SQL optimization level. Customers have it set for a particular reason and the Application Express installer shouldn't override that.
Regardless, I do believe your advice to be aware of this setting is worthwhile for the APEX community. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Where to find the best application for cleaning out my MacBook Air with OS X 10.7.5? I've been using MacKeeper but believe it's slowing down my laptop considerable.

where to find the best application for cleaning out my MacBook Air with OS X 10.7.5? I've been using MacKeeper but believe it's slowing down my laptop considerable. Thank you.

    How to maintain a Mac
    1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; make them independent of each other. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine. If you get an indication that a backup has failed, don't ignore it.
    2. Keep your software up to date. In the Software Update preference pane, you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis. This is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible.
    3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." With very few exceptions, this stuff is useless, or worse than useless. Above all, avoid any software that purports to change the look and feel of the user interface.
The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
As a rule, the only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Use your computer; don't fuss with it.
Safari extensions, and perhaps the equivalent for other web browsers, are a partial exception to the above rule. Most are safe, and they're easy to get rid of if they don't work. Some may cause the browser to crash or otherwise malfunction.  Some are malicious. Use with caution, and install only well-known extensions from relatively trustworthy sources, such as the Safari Extensions Gallery.
Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it. Otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
    4. Beware of trojans. A trojan is malicious software (“malware”) that the user is duped into installing voluntarily. Such attacks were rare on the Mac platform until sometime in 2011, but are now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. You can’t rely on third-party protection either. What you can rely on is common-sense awareness — not paranoia, which only makes you more vulnerable.
Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must be acquired directly from the developer. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from a web page without your having requested it should go straight into the Trash. A website that claims you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, is rogue.
In OS X 10.7.5 or later, downloaded applications and Installer packages that have not been digitally signed by a developer registered with Apple are blocked from loading by default. The block can be overridden, but think carefully before you do so.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most people don't.
    5. Don't fill up your boot volume. A common mistake is adding more and more large files to your home folder until you start to get warnings that you're out of space, which may be followed in short order by a boot failure. This is more prone to happen on the newer Macs that come with an internal SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. The drive can be very nearly full before you become aware of the problem. While it's not true that you should or must keep any particular percentage of space free, you should monitor your storage consumption and make sure you're not in immediate danger of using it up. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the startup volume for normal operation.
If storage space is running low, use a tool such as the free application OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the most space. Move rarely-used large files to secondary storage.
    6. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” "resetting the SMC," “rebuilding the directory,” "defragmenting the drive," “running periodic scripts,” “dumping logs,” "deleting temp files," “scanning for viruses,” "purging memory," "checking for bad blocks," "testing the hardware," or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are either completely pointless or are useful only for solving problems, not for prevention.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.

  • 9 inch iPad for the iPad artists community

News about the iPad mini sounds good. But as an iPad artist, the mini might spell the end of a rich pool of iPad artists who favoured the bigger iPad screen for sketches.
I hope apple will continue to make and improve the 9 inch iPad for the iPad artist community.

    Hey Budbudbud-
The iPad Mini came out on October 23, 2012 and yes, it has reduced the 9-inch screen size. The new size is 7.9 inches. But don't worry, the iPad 4 also came out that day, and they continue the 9.7 inch screen size. And if you want screen size for a smaller price, try iPad 2.

  • Move FTP server - what to watch out for

    Hi,
The client is looking at moving the ftp server to another server (another ip address). I know I will need to amend the communication channels to contain the new ip address's. What will need to be done from a basis side? What other things will I need to look out for?
    Thanks,
    Leanne

    HI,
Mostly changes need to be carried out at File adapter level.
    Changes required
    1) New FTP server ip address
    2) change in directory path
    3) password
    4) port.

  • An app everyone should look out for

    Hello apple users,
Today I am here to warn you all for one of the many app's that scam you, this one is named "panorama backgrounds & parallax wallpapers & dynamic livepapers for ios 7, whatsapp, hangouts, viber"
Like the name and description promises it that you get many panorama, parallax, dynamic, whatsapp, hangout and viber backgrounds/wallpapers/livepapers. It only costed 1,79 (Euro) so I thought, why the heck not
When I launched the app, all I got was this:
About 30 backgrounds for whatsapp, easily found on google.
And also, it has fake reviews (at the bottom you can see the real ones of people saying the truth)
Any apps you know of other people should look out for?

    Hi,
To migrate from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013, you can refer to the articles provided by Amit Tank.
For one thing about public folders, Exchange 2013 users can access public folders on Exchange 2010, but Exchange 2010 users can't access public folders on Exchange 2013. If you still use public folders, you need to migrate mailboxes before moving public
    folders to Exchange 2013.

  • Is Flash being phased out for Internet Applications?

I've been working on a conversion of a medium scale app from AS2 to AS3 for the past little while, and I can't help noticing the lack of updates for UI Components for Flash (notably DateChooser and Accordion ). Is this because of:
    1. There is a simple way to get those components from Flex builder and all components will be released to Flex first, and need to be rebuilt into flash?
    2. Flash is being phased out for web UI Dev and being directed back toward Animation only, leaving Flash UI developers to use Flex?
I fully understand that there is a component community, but I've had mixed luck with them and these two components seem like they should be core components. It seems somewhat telling to me that AS 3 has been out for a really long time now, and the Flash CS5 I bought still doesn't have a calendar component.
Either I'm missing something, or Adobe is telling me that the way I've been using flash is no longer supported and I should look elsewhere for creating Apps.
I really hope I'm missing something obvious but it seems like the idea died with CS3. Can someone clue me in on what's going on?
    Thanks in advance!

See if this brings you any joy: http://seeing-is-believing.blogspot.com/2007/11/flex-components-in-flash-example-with.html
Although it does require some work but it is still better than recreating the component which you wanna avoid
