RTP-Analysis for Time-of-Use Interface

Dear Experts;
we configured the AMI nodes "Time-of-Use Interface" and in a new interval permissible rate, we enabled the RTP category:
01 Bill EDM Profile Values with TOU Interface. Billing went well, we did create on-peak, off-peak and mid-peak KWH consumption buckets.
But I am wondering, where I can find in the billing doc EA22 - tab "RTP-Analysis", like it shows up for EDM RTP interfaces?
Which configuration are we missing? Where can we see, how billing allocated the hourly consumption values to the different consumption buckets?
Any help is highly appreciated.

thanks for the follow up. what I wanted to ask is after the buckets and the bill doc is created:
- I have my profile 1/1/ - 1/31 = 1000 KWH.
- I have my AMI TOU interface in the rate 01 Bill EDM Profile Values with TOU Interface.
- I got a bill doc 1/1 - 1/31, with 3 lines - stating 200 KWH on-peak; 300 KWH mid-peak and 500 KWH off-peak.
--> great!,but in EDM - RTP billing, in the bill doc (EA22), you will see another tab called "RTP-Analysis", that exactly shows me, which interval values (date; time & consumption) was used for on-peak vs off-peak vs mid-peak.
So, my question is, where do I find such a Analysis for AMI TOU ? Which config are we missing?
I would like to see a validation in SAP for the sum of the 3 buckets.
I actually did a manual comparison based on a calendar and Excel to figure, whether SAP AMI TOU was correct with the consumption in the 3 buckets (200 KWH on-peak; 300 KWH mid-peak and 500 KWH)...

Yes, sharing a TM disk is a bad idea, and disks are cheap enough so that you don't need to.

The installer is probably finding a file called backups.backupdb
That is where Time Machine stores it backups so it figures it can't install there
The Time Machine backup should never be done to the system drive but another drive instead

Un-remove back up drive for Time Machine use?

I need to restore a removed disk to the Time Machine menu. I was using two external drives to back up my internal drive.
One of the drives is a USB drive. The other was a Western Digital Live network drive. I connect to that network drive through my home network. It plugs into the wireless router through an ethernet cable.
I wanted Time Machine to stop backing up to the wireless drive (WD Live) temporarily. So, I removed it from the menu on the Time Machine preferences. Now, I can't get it back.
Although I can mount the WD Live drive and view its other contents, it no longer appears as an available drive for backing up with Time Machine. I have tried deleting the Time Machine plist file from the preferences.
I am having this problem with 10.8.1. I had it with 10.8.0. I have the problem on my 2012 MacBook Air and on my late 2008 MacBook aluminum body.
Any suggestions?

"Hide" External Drive for Time Machine use only

Hi everyone,
I have an AirPort Extreme with 2 External Drives connected to it on wi-fi. One with 500GB I use for "File Server", so all computer in my network can store files on it. The other one, with 1T I use as Time Machine backup ONLY (over wi-fi).
It's all working perfectly. But when using a computer on the network, I was able to see that the Time Machine drive is 'visible' to be used as a 'file server' as well if the user wants to.
Is there any way I can 'hide' this external drive, so it can be seing only by Time Machine?
Maybe it's not possible but it is worth asking.

That may not last. Backing-up that way is "iffy" and +*not supported by Apple.+* See Using Time Machine with an Airport Extreme Air Disk (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum). As it says, if you continue backing-up that way, strongly consider keeping secondary backups, if you don't already.

Tolerance for time when using .gpx files to geotag

Okay, so we had our trip all planned and landed on Sunset Beach in Florida for a week of sun and fun. Planning to takes many photos, I bought and installed GeotagPhotos for my iPhone. While I wasn't the best at turning it on when I should have, I did manage to get several tracks. However, when I import those tracks to LR4, select all photos (474 of them) and ask LR4 to 'Select Photos on TrackLog', it selects no photos.
I have manually checked dates/times of photos with dates/times in the tracklog, and they are similar, but maybe not exact (down to the second), so my question is:
Does LR4 use a tolerance on time? If so, what is that tolerance?

Thank you for your response. It prompted me to recall that I had Motion-X for my iPhone. I installed the updated version and tested it. It worked perfectly. Not sure what's going on with GeotagPhotos, but it wasn't accurate at all.

Calculating Actual Cost for Time Confirmation using a BAPI

Does anyone know how to calculate the Actual Cost when creating a time confirmation for a Plant Maintenance work order? I am using BAPI_ALM_CONF_CREATE to create the time confirmation for a work order, but there does not appear to be any options that will calculate the Actual Costs. This functionality would be similar to what occurs in transaction IW41 when creating a time confirmation.
I tried the suggestions on the OSS notes for BAPI_ALM_CONF_CREATE, but they do not seem to work.
We have developed Custom Screen using a handheld device to have production personnel enter there time spent working on a piece of equipment. Basically we are trying to get the same results on the handheld as we would get using IW41 where it runs the cost calculation based on the hourly rate setup in FICO.

External HD for Time Machine use?

What size external HD should I use to back up my MBP? I believe my hard drive is 320GB. Money IS an issue!

Is it possible to share a disk on airport extreme for both Time Capsule use and Windows use

I was hoping to add some better backup capacity to our home. Can I use the same disk attacheded to the USB port of an Airport Extreme for Time Capsule use for our Macbooks, as well as general use by the windows laptops> If not is it possible to add multiple disks to the Airport Extreme and designate one for Mac Laptops, and the other for Windows use.

Regardless of the client's OS, you can use the AirPort Disk (USB HDD attached to the AirPort Extreme's USB) port as a 'NAS' device. You also have the option of partitioning it if you actually want separate volumes to be used between Mac or Windows clients. I would recommend partitioning it for Mac OS Extended (Journaled) which would also format it for HFS+. Normally HFS+ volumes are not readable (natively) by Windows, but the Extreme's File Server will share this drive out with both AFP (for Macs) and SMB (for Windows/Linux) clients.
However, one note of caution. Do NOT use this AirPort Disk for Time Machine backups as this is NOT supported by Apple. Although a number of users have done so, a number of them also post here complaining of corrupted backups.

I insert the data in RCV_HEADERES_INTERFACE and RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE
after i commit the SQL. i execute Receiving Transaction Processor to process my data.
the data in RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE is success
but the data in RCV_HEADERES_INTERFACE return ERROR.
the receiving shipment number I'm testing is already received part of the item from using standard form
example:   total quantity is 5000.   we use standard form received 1000 and there still 4000 are waiting for received .
in this condition, if next time we use Interface to Received the remaining item.
should i insert the data in RCV_HEADERES_INTERFACE ?
or just insert line's data in RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE?

ABC analysis for Cycle Counting.

Hi SAP gurus,
I am facing a problem from the user. While doing the ABC analysis for cycle counting using the Transaction MIBC, he is getting an error " table T159c is not maintained for plant XXXX". when i checked it SPRO cycle counting is not done for that particular plant.
My question is : Where do we maintainc CC Physical inv indicator ? I have checked at material level in Gen.Plant/Sloc view, it is not maintained . so may be they have maintained at Plant level. where do we maintain at plant level.?

1) Maintain the Percentages against A,B,C,D cycle counting indicators in OMCO
2) Perform MICN to schedlue the batch input session for Creation of physical Inventory documents
3) MIBC-For ABC analysis for Cycle counting .
Note : the percentages maintained in OMCO will decide on the classification of the material as to when the Physical inventory needs to be done based on either the consumtion values/Requirement values

Server 2008 Domain Controller won't sync with domain for time

I have a Windows Server 2008 Domain Controller, a physical machine. When I run w32tm /query /status it shows the source as: Local CMOS clock. What ever I seem to try I cannot get it to look at the PDC to sync for time. Using RsOP I can see the correct policy
is in place, pointing to the correct server. I have checked the registry key and the correct server is in there under \HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Paramaters.
I have tried various w32tm commands such as seeting the /manualpeerlist to the correct server, /syncfromflags:DOMHIER. I have also used w32tm /config /update, making sure to restart the w32time service.
But whatever I do I cannot get it to sync from the network, it always shows Local CMOS clock. The time on the server is starting to drift now. When I use w32tm /resync /rediscover I get an error message: "The computer did not resync because no time
data was available". There is no firewall between the 2 servers blocking port 123.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Sizing Time Capsule for Time Machine

Want to us a TIme Capsule for TIme Machine use (backup): What size Time Capsule would I need for a 320G, 680G, and a 1T hard drive?

It was my understanding that I needed a Time Capsule at least as large as my HD. Are you saying that I could use a 500G TC for a 1T HD?
Yes. Unless your current 1 TB drive is completely full and you want to backup the entire drive, you should be able to get by with the 500 GB model. Again, remember Time Machine will use sparsebundles to store the backups on the Time Capsule. As mentioned before, Time Machine will purge the oldest backups to make room for the newest ones ... so theoretically your Time Capsule will never run out of space. It really comes down to how far back in time is the data you need to keep.
Finally, you have two other options with the Time Capsule. Add an external USB hard drive to archive Time Machine backups ... or use the external hard drive, instead of the internal one, for Time Machine backups. For example, you can add a 2 TB external drive, use it for Time Machine backups and use the internal drive for NAS ... or vice-versa.

Time-dependent BW hierarchies in Analysis for OLAP

Hi all,
We are using time-dependent hierarchies in combination with a key date variable.
Tools used: Query designer based on SAP BW 7.4 and BO 4.0.
The following steps are executed:
Report is executed and key date is prompted
According to the key date, the correct time-dependent organisation hierarchy will be used in drill-down
Bring up variable screen again and select different key date
The drill-down changes according to the now correct time-dependent organisation hierarchy
The above scenario works for BEx Analyzer, BEx Web, Analysis for Office - but not for Analysis for OLAP.
Whenever I run through this scenario and confirm the updated key date, the following error is displayed:
cube.get.dimension.info.runtime.error : java.lang.IllegalStateException: There is no default hierarchy for dimension [ORG].
In the user guide I don't find any specifics about the hierarchies and since it works in all the other applications, I wonder where the error is coming from. I also could not find it anywhere else in the forum.
Has anyone experienced the same error or any suggestions?

This issue is captured in SAP Note 1941865. Resolved in 4.0 (8.5, 9.2 or SP10) and 4.1 (1.6 or SP03).
Symptom
In BI 4.1, Analysis for OLAP returns errors similar to:"An error occurred in the MDAS service while processing a request from Analysis, edition for OLAP. Try the operation again. If the problem persists, please contact your administrator. (AOC00041)" and/or "cube.get.dimension.info.runtime.error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: There is no default hierarchy for dimension [DIMENSIONNAME]"
The BW Query the AOLAP workspace is created against has 2 different hierarchies that have the same text description

Suggestion for a drum pad interface to use in Logic 7.2

Hello all. I'm looking for suggestions for a drum pad interface to use with logic 7.2. I was very interested with the Korg PadKontrol but unfortunately it is not UB compliant. According to my understanding it will only work in Rosetta. Can anyone else let me know what pad interface you use (UB compliant) and your experiences with it. I am doing alot of research on what to get but I really believe in Feedback from "real life" users. Thank you very much in advance for your time!!

the pad itself uses MIDI to communicate with the Mac. They bundle software with the pad that is not UB. So if you are not intending to use the editor software, it is irrelevent.
