as far as i know, you can also have external libraries in 10g. But, do you want to interact from a forms-dialog or from the database itself? If from the database itself, you should be aware that you can only use a dll, if the database-server runs on windows. Also, you should ask your question then in the database-general-forum.

Your scenario is Split message .. you can avoid BPM if you are in SP14 with the RB_Split functionality.
if you running less than Sp14 try out this scenario with Multimapping and use in the BPM.

Unfortunately this is a very basic functionality requirment in multi company code Environment but not available in the earlier versions of SAP SAP_APPL 617. OOS Note 638781
You can restrict with MRP Controller(Network( / (WBS)Person Responsible & Profit Centre. (WBS)
This will solve 80% of your problem. Kindly reply if it works.

Basic functionality in spry would rule!

Here is a problem that should be extremely simple to fix.
However ExtJS/Spry left out some basic functionality, like ...
accessing a Grids' properties. Take a gander at the documentation
(since adobe provides virtually none), @

Make your way down to ... API Documentation > Ext >
grid. You will notice that there are no way to access a grids'
properties, such as it's name ....
Do I need to role my own basic functions?

Are you using CF8's built in AJAX features or did you
implement ExtJS yourself?
ExtJS is not Spry.
The link you supplied is for ExtJS v2.1. CF8 is using v1.0 or
v1.1 (I forget which). v2+ has major differences over v1.x.
You can pretty much do anything under the sun with ExtJS. It
is extremely robust to the point that it can be quite complex. I'm
sure that you can do anything that you need to, it may just take
some digging over at ExtJS to find it.

Transaction code to SAP Library

Hi Experts,
I need to define some user defined functions using BAdis, the help says follow the below path:
To find out how to define individual functions using the BAdI, go to the SAP library and call up SAP NetWeaver -> Key Areas of SAP NetWeaver -> Information Integration -> Business Intelligence -> Data Warehousing -> Transformation -> Rule Type -> Transformation Library and Formula Builder -> Implement Own Functions .
I couldn't find SAP library. Any help greatly appreicated. Thanks.

Report for Posting Rule details for Functions/items

Hello
Is there a standard program in SAP to take a report or listing of extract in MS Excel of the posting rule details configuration settings in SAP-JVA. I am fairly certain there is a program to extract the details in Excel but I am not sure what is the name of that program and how to use it. I appreciate any ABAP programmer or expert can guide me how to go about this listing.

In order to do postings in JVA, we create posting methods and under that Posting method we have to create and configure posting rules. Under the posting method, there are SAP JVA processes or functions and function items that are used to create the posting rules. The posting rules details are specified for each function and function item combination and involve the specification of Recovery indicator along with posting keys, SE indicator and billing indicator.
I am not convinced that the standard codes in my system for posting keys, recovery indicators and billing indicators are exactly the same as the default settings and I need to check it along with the posting rule details.
Please see the screenshots attached to give you an idea. I am looking for an ABAP program or report program to take out a listing of these posting rules details from the system.

Queuename cannot be build with function(while creating invoice VF01) IDoc

Hi all,
I had a problem while posting an invoice with reference to the delivery document . we had configured partner profile with INVOIC02 and extension for that. and maintained Transfer IDocs immediately. queue processing is enabled . before implementing OSS notes it is working fine. after implementing these notes we are getting update termination message and the invoice document is not getting saved. the notes are 0001019483 and 0001280898 .
After implementing notes rule is enabled and in that rule we had given IDOC_QUEUE_SUS_MM. and we had done cofig for that in we85.
the message is like this.

Dear Reddy,
This may due to two reasons
1.Itemcategory settings
2.Copy control settings at item level between your sales document type and your billing type ZF3.So fallow these steps you can rectify the issue.
-->You go to the VOV7 transaction then select item category ZAPT TAP then go in to the details of that here you can find the field Billing Relevance maintain this field "B" or "C" if you are doing order related billing.
-->Go to VTFA transaction click on change icon (Top Left Corner)then select your billing type ZF3 and sales order type then click on the item here you select the itemcategory ZAPT TAP then go in to the details screen here you need to enter the copying requirement routines.
Standard routine is 002-item/order related in the Copying requirements field.
Standard routine is 001-Inv.split (sample) in the Data VBRK/VBRP field.
And also check the Header level copy control settings
Maintain these settings then try

Error when I click on Help -- SAP Library

When I click on Help --> SAP Library or Help --> Application Help or Help --> Glossary
I get an error message as follow:
Error in SAP HTML-HELP (SHH.exe)
Could not find file
"L:\Data\Saphelp\htmlhelp\HELPDATAR347x200
NE\e18e5134\1a06084d\e11000000\9b38f83b\frameset.chm
For details please check the entries in the files SAPDOCCD.LOG in the windows directory.
SO how to solve this problem...
And is there a way to change the path in which the system look to when i click SAP Library from the path shown above (L:\ Data\....) to another path??

Hi,
Are the html help files installed on the "L:\DATA\..." drive ? and are the help files installed in language "NL" (Dutch) ?
You can control the path where to look for the files in 2 ways (as i remember):
1) by customizing the SAPDOCCD.INI file on your local workstation (if exists). (User specific)
2) by customizing in transaction SR13 within your R/3. (System specific)
But in the SAPDOCCD.LOG file you should be able to see how the location is found, and from where.
Every thing however (including basic trouble shooting) is described in SAP's document "Installing the SAP Library" or something like this....

Unable to "Add Rule Policies for Rule Builder"

Hi,
I have requirement to implmenet territory management. But I am unable to add 'Rule Policies for Rule Builder' in WebUI. When I go to Rule Policies(under the section 'Sales Operations') and Click on 'New'. A Pop up comes up with ID- 'TM' (Territory Management) as selection option. But when i click on it nothing happens. Please let me know the reason and solution of the same.
Please note that I have already implemented below mentioned steps:
1. Copy Rule Attributes in Client 000 to Transport request
2. These services are Active:
u2022 md110empbp_job
u2022 md110fdt_tmgmt
u2022 md110h_tmgmt
u2022 md110m_tmgmt
u2022 md110simu_tmgmt
u2022 md110s_tmgmt
3. Assign authorization object CRM_FDT to business role.
4. Tried checking in firefox, as it was not working on IE.
Please suggest a fix for this.

In general Claims are of 2 types
1. Claims on Vendor
2. Claims on Customer
Exmaple of Claim on Customer:
You could have incured some additional cost in the Project that u would like to claim from ur Customer as per the contractual norms can be mapped using Claim Management.
So u create a claim document in the system and maintain various information related to Claim
1. Cutomer Details
2. Related Project ID ( WBS Element)
3. U can attache some doucments to the Claim Document
4. What is Planned Cost
5. How much Customer has payed agains that.
Also there standard approval process to approve the claim document.
Refer presentatation on Claim management on "service.sap.com/ps". Click on "Media Center Project System".
