how can i link with org unit with rule.how we use rule in workflow, i have 2 seperate batch of users, i need to make seperate 2 batches include users in each bach.help me it is very urgent for good points for good answers

OM - Multiple Cost Centres link with Org Unit/Position not to employee

Hello gurus,
In OM there can only be one relationship at a time between an organizational unit and cost centre (A011). For those areas where there is a requirement for the position to have control over more than one cost centre, there are multiple options.
Option 1 - If only one of the cost centres is used for employee cost incurrence, this should be the main cost centre, and the others controlled through authorizations.
Option 2 - If more than one cost centre is used for employee cost incurrence, a subordinate organizational unit is created into which those positions are placed. In this scenario, the subordinate organizational units would not have a chief, and the reporting structure would go up to the more senior organizational units.
Option 3 - Use Cost centre distribution infotype 1018 (A014)
My question: is there a standard way through which we can show multiple cost centres attached to a position/org unit such that cost incurred by employees goes to master cost centre attached to org unit or positon and other cost centres are just attached to position/orgunit (just to show the org unit/position is managing these other cost centres as well).
Any thoughts? Anybody has used Enterprise Organization in CO to achieve this?

To capture more than 1 cost center, you have to specify them in IT-1018 but employee's cost will be split based on this.
For data maintanance alone cost distribution is not possible (based on my knowledge).
May be equivalent custom infotype similar to 1018 @ Postiion / Org Unit level may work.
along with Master Cost center.

Table for link with BP and Org Unit

Hi experts
i'd like to know what is the table where there is inside the link beetween BP and Org Unit.
I know that the table HRP1001 links users to Org Unit but i cannot find the BP

Hi
you can always find the link between Org unit O and its related BP in table HRP1001.
Key in Org unit ID in the table selection parameter OBJID and execute. It will list postions (S) assigned to the Org ID and its BP number. Look at the relation B207(subtype) which will show O-BP assigment. It will be the last entry in the output list.

[SOLVED] Xfce terminal open links with wrong browser.

After installing Opera as second browser, xfce terminal began to open links with it, instead of my default browser - Firefox.
I right click on an URL, choose 'Open Link' and it opens in Opera.
Firefox is set as default browser in Settings -> Preferred Applications -> Web Browser
xdg-open http://archlinux.org
- opens Firefox
exo-open http://archlinux.org
- opens Firefox
After quick search through xfce terminal sources i found it uses some function - gtk_show_uri.
I googled it, found that topic: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=140028 and tried the solution:
cat ~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list
[Added Associations]
x-scheme-handler/mailto=exo-mail-reader.desktop
x-scheme-handler/http=firefox-browser.desktop
strangely it doesn't help.
After all righ click url in terminal and 'Open Link' still uses Opera.
Any ideas? What else can i do to find out a reason?

Tried BROWSER envar - doesnt help, and as i understand it must work only for cli apps.
Editing of ~/.config/mimeapps.list doesnt help eather:

and before that some other non existing files, but i dont see there any familiar config files.

ESS Who's Who - remove link from Org Unit

In Who's Who (web dynpro version for ERP2004), I want to display Organizational Unit in an employee's detail. I do NOT however want the link to the org chart from this field to be available.
Is there a way to remove the link from the Organizational Unit field?
If not, then my issue is that the link does not work. I get the error "Service EMPLOYEE_ORGCHART_SERVICE does not exist" when I click on a link to the org chart from who's who. Can someone point towards some documentation on how to implement this?
Bottom line is that I either want to remove the link on Org Unit or make it work.
Has anyone had success with this?

HI,
Go to OX02 and create a company code by copying the standard company code 0001 / 1000
Then go to OX10 and create a plant by copying the standard plant 0001 / 1000
OX09 - maintain storage loaction for the created plant
OX08 - create purchase org copying from standrard 0001 / 1000
Go to OX18 and assign your plant to company code
OX17 assign purchase org to plant
In order to get the tcode go to SPRO and in the top menu click on additional informations - additional information - display key - IMG activity.
After you select this then in the SPRO you have a column additional information comes up. each and every activity in SPRO will have and additional informatiom, in the additional information the last 4 characters is tcode.
Eg : SIMG_CFMENUSAPCOX02 this is the additional information for CC. the last 4 characters OX02 is the tcode

Org Mgmt Report with Org Unit, Position, Person and Chef Position

Does anyone know a good report that shows an org structure with Org Unit, positions, person, and also highlights the chef positions?
I would like to link this to our portal, so would prefer a report to transaction PPOME.

Hi,
You can generate the required report from reporting tool HIS. select the org structure for which you want the report to be generated.
In the graphical view select the org unit and in the reporting window select organizational plan and select staff assignment as task function.

Problem with ORG Determination in Transactions

I am having an issue with ORG determination in Business Transactions
The Organization area is not being populated as required.
I want to pull in the org data from the User (Org data set in Sales Area section of the BP), all users have the same org data, when running the transaction this is not working, this used to work ok but no longer does??
Settings in org data profile is set to '14000146 - Org. Unit Using Transaction Type', this brings back two errors:
1 - No organizational units found
2 - No organizational unit could be selected
I have tried using the 10000194 - UserOrgUnit but this causes a pricing determination error relating to config
any ideas anyone??

Hello Barry,
To use rule 14000146, you need to add the used transaction type as an attribute of the org. unit that you want it to be determined.
To do this, please execute t-cd ppoma_crm, open your org. unit, go to the [Attributes] tab, add the transaction type into the 'Transaction Type' attibute, then check on 'Obj. permitted in determination' save.
Wiith rule 10000194 you got the org. unit determined. For the pricing error, I think it might be related to the pricing procedure determination. If yes, please check your IMG activity:

    - Pricing in the Business Transaction
     - Determine Pricing Procedures
Here, the Sales organization, Dis. Channel, Division are the org. data determined in the transaction; the Doc. Pricing Procedure is the one defined in the transaction type (IMG activity: Define Transaction Types->Assignment of Business Transaction Categories-> BUS2000115 -> Customizing header -> field 'Doc. Pric.Proc.'); the Cust. Pricing Procedure is taken from the sold-to party's BP master sales area data (in the billing) tab.

I can not open the image, but I can say something in general about the tilde.<br>
The tilde "~" is an unreserved character and therefore it can be replaced by its percent-encoded form "%7E" inside a URI without changing meaning. See<br>

According to section 2.3 of RFC3986 we should prefer the unencoded form so this behavior seems to be a bit out-dated.<br>

Simple compilation question: linking with a jar

I am trying to compile a simple program and have it link with .jar files from JFreeChart. It compiles, but I can't run it, and for the life of me, I don't understand why:

An event has been defined in a delegated business object and linked with a workflow. My Problem is that i am unable to find the code related to this event. Is there any code required for triggering this event? if yes ..where to find?
My second question is that when this event get triggered. the agent table get populated. i checked the binding between workflow container and event but didnt get anything means some entries are there but not related to agent. I think some rule is linked to this workflow . how to find the rule which is attached to workflow.

Hi Manoj,
There are lots of ways in which an agent can be determined.
If it is not getting passed through the event -> workflow binding then there might be a background step before your dialog task to determine this "Agent". Check if you have one such background step in your workflow.
You can also set initial values in the attributes of the container element (You can access it by double clicking on the container element and clickng on Initial value tab). Check whether any initial value is set for your container element.
If it is a standard workflow and if you can provide the workflow template ID we can check it in our system and let you know the details

Assuming you are making use of workshop for creating the user segment and deploying to a single server which is in development mode, I would recommend you check if you have hit any OOM issues on the server or not, and try restarting the server, and redeploying your app. Generally this should resolve the issue.
If the server to which you are deploying is running in production mode / deploying as an EAR then the above referred doc will guide you on the next steps.

Tab Ruler Issues with CS4

Hi. I am having trouble with the tab ruler in CS4. Whenever I zoom in to the long text box I need to set tabs in, the box is 44" long, the tab ruler does not stay with the text box if zoomed in more that 100%. Even when I have the ruler 'locked' to the text box I am setting tabs in, it fails to stay with the box. I scroll the the right to see the rest of the text box but the tab ruler does not move. Am I doing anything wrong or is this something funky with InDesign? I basically need the tabs to space a bunch of UPC codes across the length of the text box. It's usless if the tab ruler does not stay with the text box - I have no way of knwing where to set the tabs. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Yea, I figured it was a separate window and playing with it for a few hours trying to figure this out. So how do you keep the tabs and tab ruler inline with the text box when you scroll to the left or right or zoom in and out? It seems to not snap to the box when zoomed in either. Very hit or miss with it even aligning to the text box. The tab ruler goes way off the page and I have to scroll just to try to get the icon to try to snap it to the text box. Works about 20% of the time, but when I scroll it's useless.
I might be able to use tables, but I won't have the control, I don't think. Basically I have either 17, 10, etc. UPC codes and text below it, to fit at different increments along a 24 or 44" long page. This will change all the time, depending on how big or small the article that the UPC represents is. So I have nested a EPS UPC code and a text box below it and pasted it into a text box. From that I change, add or subtract, them to get the amount of info I need per long text box or line. I figured it was easier to do it this way than to align the EPS and the text by itself each time a change is made, which is all the time.
Long story short - I have dozens of these files that people did in Freehand and it takes most of the day to fix or add to these files the way it is now. Each UPC code is placed/linked, and the text is by itself in a table below. So I am moving each by hand. Thought InDesign would be better. The size of these change a few times a month. Thanks.

My contacts have not linked with the email when I want to send - why???

I have just downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird and imported my contacts as directed. When I go to send an email to any of my contacts the contact list does not appear. When I manually type the address it does not link with my contacts.
I am sure there is something very simple I am not doing, but I need to know what that simple thing is!!!

Have you followed [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-gmail#w_useful-add-ons this guide] in order to setup your contacts? I personally recommend the Google Contacts add-on.
After configuring it, make sure your contacts are synced to Thunderbird by opening you Address Book and looking under the "Gmail" session.

Ld: can't link with bundle (MH_BUNDLE) only dylibs (MH_DYLIB)

Hello, I'm writing on behalf of the MacPorts package management system. I am trying to update the MacPorts port of Oracle Instant Client from 10.2.0.4.0 to 11.2.0.3.0 (https://trac.macports.org/ticket/37880), and while many of our ports including the PHP oracle module continue to work fine with this version, soci (https://github.com/SOCI/soci/issues/89) and TOra (https://sourceforge.net/p/tora/bugs/867/) both fail to build, producing instead this error message:
ld: can't link with bundle (MH_BUNDLE) only dylibs (MH_DYLIB) for architecture x86_64
This is on OS X 10.8.2 compiling with Xcode 4.6's version of clang ("Apple LLVM version 4.2 (clang-425.0.24) (based on LLVM 3.2svn)").
I suspect this is because soci and TOra are doing something with static libraries, and Oracle Instant Client is only shipped as a dynamic library. But I can't explain why this worked with 10.2.0.4.0, unless something has changed about how Oracle Instant Client is being built. It's not clear whether this is an intentional change in Oracle Instant Client, and if it is, what developers should do to fix their software.
I have not heard back from the developers of TOra, and the developers of soci suggested I ask here.

Please check this Apple radar ( Bug ID# 12451551 ) filed . libociei.dylib was converted into a bundle to overcome the issue .
Can you tell me the reasons for linking with libociei.dylib directly ? The exposed client interfaces are in the libclntsh.dylib file and we should only be linking against the client library.
