Rule parse error

Hi ,
I am getting this error. Please let me know what can cause this and what needs to be done to avoid this.
"unable to parse merchandising rule <rule name> because the rule time trigger expiration date is before start date.Please amnually correct the rule"

Wow, thanks for the detective work. I changed the DEFINE_REFERENCE terminal rule to this Data Type Rule and no other changes were req'd - it simply worked!
DEFINE_REFERENCE returns ecore::EString:
'$' ID
Woohoo! Oh yeah, I also had to add this to the top of the grammar:

InfoPath 2010 form parsing error with 3600 execution timeout value in SharePoint 2010

Hi,
I have a list in SharePoint 2010 with 100 columns where 25 of them are calculated columns. This list is designed by InfoPath 2010 with two secondary data connections to pull a few data from another two lists. There are 25 set value rules with the submit
button in InfoPath from. At present, the list is containing around 1000 items.
The problem is, when I published the InfoPath form it throws an error:
The SOAP message cannot be parsed.
In fact, the execution timeout is set to 3600 in config file. When I delete items from the list and keep it around 700 the InfoPath form publish then.
Could somebody tell me why this problem and what is the possible solution.

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you published InfoPath form.
Please modify the web.config file like :
<location path="_layouts/UploadEx.aspx">
     <system.web>
       <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="51200" executionTimeout="300" />
     </system.web>
   </location>
And modify the <securityPolicy> section like :
The web.config file is in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\spwebappname.

SSL VPN Problem - ACL Parse Error

Hi there.
Testing some features in Cisco ASA SSL VPN(Clientless).
But when i connect to the portal, trying to login i get the following error, anybody seen this before?
It works if i ADD a ACL to the DAP, but dosn't if there is only a WEBACL applied??
It also works if i remove my "check" in "ssl-client" box in the global_policy (Group Policy).

If you have implemented SSLVPN i18n then I think you are hitting bug.

XML Parse Error in AWM

OS: Oracle Database 11.1.0.7.0 on Windows XP
Analytic Workspace Manager: 11.1.0.7.0A
When expanding the Analytic Workspace in AWM I am getting the error below. I was able to create and populate the dimensions/cubes using XML Template and did not come across any errors during that process.
I tried deleting the schema and recreated the AW but still get the same error. Are there any solutions to fix this problem?

Parsing error with XDP using special character & in string.

When writing an .XDP file from scratch, the following line give a parsing error at the ampersand. What command should I use to convert the ampersand to string?
The XDP line is:
<p3pName>17TH STREET BAR & GRILL</p3pName>

There are five characters which MUST be escaped if they appear in
regular XML text, this is a rule of XML. The characters are ampersand,
single and double quote, less than, and greater than. They can be
replaced by entities like & AMP ; (no spaces, semi-colon is part of
it). If you use an XML library it should take care of it, but home
grown XML programs and scripts should always keep this in mind.

Essmsh error: Parse error near   on

Hi,
I have encryted a mxl file which loads dimensions in essbase. When I try to call the maxl file, import statments thows an error "essmsh error: Parse error near on". Rest of the statments work fine. Also the import statments in the original maxl file (before encryption) works fine. Please help.

Parse errors in lightbox.css

Hi all,
I have this line in my lightbox css file:

As the comment indicates, it's a hack to trick Internet Explorer. The hack uses invalid code. That's why you get the error.
How can you fix it? You can't, without your CSS failing in older versions of IE. It's your choice: styles that work, or valid code.

Parse errors with 70_sare_obfu0.cf

I've installed various .cf rules into /etc/mail/spamassassin (correct owner:group & permissions). They all install fine into Spamassassin except 70sareobfu0.cf downloaded from here...

...which produces screeds of parsing errors (total 610 'issues') reported by --lint as against 5 without that file (run as clamav user).
I've re-downloaded a couple of times but all the same. I cannot find any notes refering to compatibility issues. Can anyone confirm that this file is OK with them or same parsing errors?

When I run each command line by line it runs fine. But when i run this as

i have struts.jar and the other struts related files in \WEB-INF\lib

I ran your file through an XML parser and the only error was on the line:<set-property property="password" value=null />because there are no quotes around "null". Fix that and try again. If you're using an IDE, there should be an option to validate the XML file which enables you to check struts.config before starting up the app.

1)I have developed an application using Struts framework(For the View and controller part ) and EJBs. When I run this application using the Embedded OC4J provided with JDeveloper,it runs fine.But when I try to deploy the same to the StandAlone OC4J(which I downloaded from OTN) or to the Application Server,I get the following error
--503 Service Unavailable,Servlet error: Parsing error processing resource path ---
2)The StandAlone OC4J version is 9.0.4.0.0 and I used JDK 1.4.
3)The same application runs fine when deployed to StandAlone OC4J when I developed it using only JSPs and EJB.
4)I even added the different libs for Struts inside WEB-XML folder under my Application Folder Structure.
5)The StandAlone OC4J Server runs fine and displays the First Page when it is started.
6)I even installed a totally new StandAlone OC4J and deployed all my previous applications to this new server.All the applications except where I used Struts Framework ran fine.

thanks, now it is working. It seems that somehow the http server didn't start automatically with reboot.

XML Parse error while loading an XML file

HI Folks,
I was trying to load and XML file into BODS.. The XML file is well-formed and the same when tested in other tools is getting loaded without any issues..
I have created a XML-File format with the corresponding XSD..
But here in BODS it is giving - Parse error
1) when i try to view the data of the source XML in my dataflow ..it is giving "XML Parser Failed".. and not able to show data..
2) When I run my job i get the same pares error - with details as under..
---> Error here is "Unable to recognize element 'TAB' " or some time is say " Element TAB should be qualified"
Please guide with this if you have any info..thanks

Depending on the object "myLastFile", the method openDlg might not even exist (if the myLastFile object is not a File object, for instance). And I do not see any need for the myLastFile anyhow, as you are presenting a dialog to select a file to open. I recommend using the global ChooseFile( ) method instead. This will give you a filename as string in full path notation, or null when no file was selected in the dialog. I am not sure what your ExtendScript documentation states about the return value for ChooseFile, but if that differs from what I am telling you here, the documentation is wrong. So, if you replace the first lines of your code with the following it should work:

While writing this, I see that Russ has already given you the same advice. Use the symbolic constant value I indicated to use the ChooseFile dialog to select a single file (it can also be used to select a directory or open a file - but you want to control the opening process yourself). Note that this method allows you to set a start directory for the dialog (second parameter). The ESTK autocompletion also gives you a fifth parameter "helplink" which is undocumented and can safely be ignored.

Assuming you see the above error message in the alert log file, which was your original post, follow the below steps:
1 Get the 'ospid' value from the error
2. Issue the below command:
SQL> select request_id,ORACLE_PROCESS_ID
2 from fnd_concurrent_requests
3 where request_id = 15598;
3. After obtaining the request_id
4, Query it from the front-end using SYSADMIN responsibility
Hopefully this should get you the respective concurrent report/program.

We're having issues parsing several hundred PDF files located in two separate Record Center sites. All other PDF documents in the environment are being crawled and parsed without issue. I've verified the permissions for the Search service account, but that
doesn't seem to be the issue. Searching for this particular error hasn't returned much, but I have ensured that the Search service account has been added to the necessary Local Security Policy objects and cleared the configuration cache. Any help would be

Moving content databases from 2010 to 2013 August CU. Have 7 databases attached and ready to go, all the content is crawled successfully except zip files. Getting errors such as

SharePoint 2013 in a single instance out-of-the-box. Didn't install custom iFilters as 2013 supports zip. No other extensions have this issue. Range in file size from 60-90MB per zip. They contain mp3 files. I can download and unzip the file as needed.
Should I care that the index isn't being populated with these items since they contain no metadata? I am thinking I should just omit these from the crawl.
