Run - Debug project option is disabled to run the CVI RT application

Hi,
I am new to CVI Real time. I have taken the example code LoopTimingRT.prj and LoopTimingHost.prj from CVI samples directory. I am planning to run RT and host in the same desktop PC.  I have created two seperate workspaces for RT and Host with their respective projects. For RT, target is given as local desktop computer, target type selected as dll, in target settings, Run time support is mentioned as Real Time Only.
In CVI Real Time Help and also in Getting Started with Labwindows/CVI Real Time pdf, it is mentioned like we have select Run -> Debug Project to run the RT application. When i am trying to do that, that option itself is disabled in RT workspace.
Please can anyone help me.
Thanks,
Haari

Hi,
As suggested by Raman you can go ahead with same step.

  • "Edit Report" option getting disabled on saving the report in BPC 10.0

I have created input schedules using "Edit Report" functionality in BPC 10.0 NW, added a few buttons and corresponding VB code and tested the input schedule by sending data and running data manager package. Everything is working fine. After that I saved the input schedule and closed the Excel. On reopening the excel Add-in and the input schdule, the "Edit report" option becomes disabled and refresh and other functionalities available for the report get disabled. I have faced this issue a couple of times. Has anybody else faced this issue? Can someone let me know the resolution to this problem?

    Hi Shruti,
This is probably happening because the report/input schedules is not getting connected. Please check the connections once.
Also if you had named the report in "Edit Report" earlier, say for example "Sales Report", once the report is open you should be able to see this name on the EPM context pane, right side under Current Report: Connected to "Your Model" and below that in the drop down the default selection should be "Sales Report". This means that the report is connected and the Edit Report option is active.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do I disable Numbers as the default spreadsheet application?

A couple of days ago I was opening a Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet, as usual. Unexpectedly, the Numbers application launched without prompting, presented an introductory page (Welcome to Numbers etc.) then asked a question (which I unfortunately don't recall). I clicked on the button that seemed to lead me out of the program, but it did not. Instead, Numbers made itself the default spreadsheet application. I cannot find a way to "undefault" it. I know how to use "Open with" in the menu and can select xlsx of course, but when I try to download new spreadsheets they automatically download as Numbers spreadsheets. I don't want to disable the Numbers application completely, but I also don't want to learn a brand new application with all its ins and outs right now. I just want to get my work done in EXCEL!!!

    Anne,
In Finder, navigate to one of your Excel documents. Select the Excel document, but don't open it. Then choose File > Get Info from the Finder menu line.
In the Info pane, about half way down, in Open With:, select Excel and then click the Change All... button.

  • Run & Debug project, build by Ant

    Hello,
i'm using Ant to build my project in JDev. But when i try to run or debug my application, JAR libraries were not found - because they were only set in build.xml file.
Is it possible that JDeveloper would read libraries paths from Ant build file? Thank you.

Is it possible that JDeveloper would read libraries paths from Ant build file?
The library paths specified in an Ant build file are accessible only from the build.xml file. For a jdeveloper project specify the library jar files in the project properties.

  • Flash Builder 4 - Run/Debug toolbar disabled

    Hello
I have worked on my FLEX project for several weeks now. I have the need to have a Team Share now, as other developers will collaborate on this FLEX project.
I setup SVN and was able to check in changes and verify the changes on the SVN server. That works well.
I noticed now that I cannot run or debug the project at all. The run/debug toolbar buttons are disabled.
When I view the Run/Debug settings under Project Properties, it is empty.
What must I do to get my project back into debug, and the ability to even run it??? Help??

You're in the SVN Repository Exploring perspective, which looks a lot like the normal Flash perspective, but it isn't quite the same.  Go to the Window menu and choose Perspective -> Flash.

  • Error when I run a Project

When I first installed Java Studio Creator on Solaris, it worked totally fine, but after using it a couple times, when I run a project, an error message comes out :
The Sun Java System Application Server 8 could not start.
More information about the cause is in the Server log file.
    Possible reasons include:
-Port conflicts. (use netstat -a to detect possible port numbers already used by the operation system.)
-Incorrect server configuration (domain.xml to be corrected manually)
    - Corrupted Deployed Applications preventing the server to start.(This can be seen in the server.log file. In this case, domain.xml needs to be modified).
I'm just rookie to this program, I don't know what i did wrong and
if anybody wants to see my server.log file, I would be glad to post it up.
    thank you

    Hi Jack,
Please do post the server log file here so that we can try and find a solution for the problem you are facing.
I had a problem a while ago with the app server too. While trying to run an application, after a few times, it would give me an error message saying the Application Server cannot be started. I rebooted my machine and thankfully it worked again. Just try this too and see if it works.
If it doesnt we can go through the server log and try to identify the cause of the problem.
    Cheers :-)

  • Build/Run a PROJECT versus Build/Run An Application

Hi. Please excuse if this question is explained in the help file.
Why does one need to run an entire project, and in Java terms what does this mean? Why does it not suffice to have an application class (with a MAIN method of course) to build and run?
For example, in a given project containing two FORMS, form1.java and formTemp.java, along with an application, myApplication.java that uses an instance of the form1 class only. The formTemp does NOT contain (nor meant to contain) compliable code. Even though myApplication.java is 100% ok, since formTemp contains junk the ide reports on errors within that file, complaining that the PROJECT cannot run. If I remove formTemp from the ide, all runs well.
I am trying to understand the concept behind this, as far as how jDev wants us to view a project. What I thought was that a project is simply a collection of related classes, allowing me to have as many application classes (as well as others of course) I choose. If one is buggy, why does it affect the others?
    Thank you all.
    -Nat

If you want to be able to do this, make sure that you don't compile before running/debbugging your application. To turn this setting off (which is on by default), go to the project properties, in the panel named 'Runner/Options', turn off the checkbox 'Make Project' and it should do what you want.
Please note that you will have to build you project by hand (all the good pieces) before running if you want to take advantage of your latest changes. There is currently no way to Run/Debug a project with errors (some other IDEs allow this, we don't).

Well, you would have to go to the Web.config and enable debugging.
    http://ppe.blogs.msdn.com/b/zainnab/archive/2010/12/14/enable-debugging-in-web-config-vstipproj0026.aspx
Then you have to know how to Attach to the ASP.NET Worker Process w3wp.exe. All ASP.NET solutions run on the ASP.NET Worker Process thread on IIS, which means that the ASP.NET program must be already running before you can Attach the Debugger to ASP.NET
Worker Process. You set a breakpoint I the codebehind file, you attach the debugger to w3wp.exe and you hit the Run with Debugger button.

  • Office 2013 click to run: configure specific options like in /admin setup

    Hi,
In an Office 2013 click-to-run install, how can we  set f.e. the Exchange server, disable Junk mail protection (we have a seperate system for that), disable RSS, username to be used in Outlook (%username%) etc?
We have that when using the office 2013 setup.exe /admin but not in the click to run.
I don't find these options in the config.xml reference: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179195%28v=office.15%29.aspx
    Please advise.

    Jan Hoedt

    Hi Jan,
Click-To-Run version of Office 2013 does not contain the Office Configuration Tool (OCT). And the
Config.xml file mentioned above is used to customize Windows Installer-based Office 2013 installations, not for Click-To-Run version of Office.
To configure these specific options for Click-To-Run version of Office 2013, you can use
Group Policy Administrative Template files (ADMX, ADML). The policy settings apply to both Windows Installer-based (MSI) and Click-to-Run version of Office 2013.
Download link for the Group Policy Administrative Template files (ADMX, ADML):

It's recommended to download and install

  • How to run a project which gets parameters from a batch file

    Hello all,
I use to run a program, which gets parameters only by interactive mode, using a batch file as you can see below:
    # myprogram < batchfile.txt
Now, I'm updating its code by SunStudioExpress IDE and I'd like to run it from the batchfile. I have noticed that the project properties window has the option run -> arguments, however this program doesn't accept arguments this way and for changing it, I'd have a hard job.
Does someone know how to run this project and to get its parameters from batchfile?
    Regards,
    Glauber

Ah, it appears that when you run the project, "<" is passed as one of the arguments and is not treated as input redirection.
Sorry, it looks like it is not possible to do the redirection; and it looks like a bug to me. Could you please file it through bugs.sun.com? It shouldn't take long as the problem is evident now.

    Thanks, Peter.
The "link related" and "text related" crashes were what I interpretted here, too, though I'm at a loss on how to proceed given that this is a fresh system and applications.  This is happening with multiple InDesign projects in a design office environment where many others work on the same files and none of the other computers are having problems with these files.  I've removed the same files listed (thank you for those) before and did so effectively with creating the new user account to test with, but it had no effect.  I just tried again though, as these files could easily have becone corrupt again if they were being written to when InDesign crashed.  Will let you know if that makes any difference.  I've also gone through and completely cleaned out the fonts again and once more cleared the font caches.  If need be I'll reboot this system into safe mode and try that way.
    Best,

  • Disable Bluetooth running at startup.

How can i disable bluetooth running each time windows starts, as i want it _only sometimes_ - not always. My notebook is A200 23W and i have wi-fi always on.

There is a new Bluetooth stack version available.
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download
It has two new startup options
"Right click Bluetooth systray icon >Options > IT Admin > IT Security settings >Settings...>Limit Bluetooth settings".
Now you can decide if Bluetooth should always be disabled after startup.
"Turn off Bluetooth function on exiting Bluetooth Manager":
    - This means you have to enable it e.g. by using the Bluetooth systray icon if you want to use it after the bootup
"Do not register Bluetooth Manager on startup"
    - This option allows you to do not start Bluetooth at all after startup.
In this case you need to start Bluetooth from the Program folder in oder to use it.

  • Project Builder Can it be run as an Exe file at any PC?

    Dear Sir,
I am planning to make a Project based on my Forms(fmx) and Reports(Rep), database Schema, etc as a whole in a Project.
Now the question is that Can this project be treated a an Exe file and can be Installed on any PC and shall it work without install Developer(Deployement version) and Personal Oracle(8 or higher)..?
Please advise in me What options we have in Project building and what are not?
I search lot through net but could not find Enough material.
    Thanking you in advance.
    Sayeed

As for as I know, you cannot do the task with the project builder which you'r supposed to do. You cannot create exe file containing FMBs and repoets etc. with the Project Builder to run on another PC.
The project builder is used to manage the modules FMBs, MMBs, Plls etc.

  • SOA Suite Demo MIMEService - cannot be run/debug in this release.

    Hi,
I'm getting the error message "MimeService.bpel cannot be run/debug in this release" after opening the example project in JDeveloper and selecting "Run".
    Compilation works fine though:
Successful compilation: 0 errors, 0 warnings.
I installed the SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 and also tried it after updating to 10.1.3.3.
For JDeveloper I have tried v10.1.3.1 and v10.1.3.2
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Fabian

You can not run a BPEL process in JDeveloper, you can only deploy it to the SOA server and test it from there.
