Run-in Head-Default Punctuationn

Im using Framemaker 9.0p237
When I set a paragaph tag to use Run-in Head and set the default punctuation to a period followed by two spaces the format of the punctuation remains the same as that of the side-head tag. I am developing documents in accordance with a Military Standard (MIL-STD-961) and the punctuation is supposed to not be underlined.
I know I can not use the underline fopr the paragraph format and then manually underline the required text but I am really hopiong thaat there is a way to automatically accomplish the task.

It's very simple. If you want to use iPhoto, just let it manage things as it does. Other than that: Export from iPhoto and delete the image from iPhoto. That will remove the master and all versions.
If space is an issue... use an external disk.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.

Dear Rami,
As explained by our forum members the concept of creating RS header is more valid and not required,configuring a REM profile in
OSP2 and assigning the same in the material master and REM allowed setting in MRP4 view and in the production version and
scheduling parameters in OPU5 for order type PE is sufficient.

Auto run report with default parameters in Viewer

Hi,
Can any one tell me if it's possible to automatically run reports in Disco Viewer with default parameter values?
For example, I have a worksheet with a parameter like 'Term like :Term Code' which has a default value of '%'.
When I open the sheet in Viewer I'm presented with the Confirmation screen with default parameter values displayed and then click OK to run report. Is there a way to skip the confirmation screen and just run the sheet with default values as soon as it's opened?
I tried using the 'Run Query Automatically' option in Query Governor preference but this results in Viewer opening the Edit Parameters screen instead of the confirmation screen.
What I'd ideally like to do is bypass both the Confirmation and Edit Parameters screen to automatically run the worksheet with default parameters as soon as it's selected.
Any thoughts appreciated,

Option 1
If the user is clicking on a URL for the report you could code the parameters directly into the URL thus, they are passed on startup. Section 13.5.2 Example 2 of the below URL provides an example:

Option 2 (Not Exactly what your looking for)
This would still require a user to click something but, if your passing a wildcard it should probably be considered,
If the parameter might be a wild card your better off making it an Optional Parameter which is now possible in Discoverer Plus 10.1.2. Thus, instead of passing an expensive % sign the condition will simply be ignored.

Couple of checks points for you :
1.Check the material master Sales Org Veie-Item Categoery .As you have mentioned Item Categoery -TAQ which is not relevent for requirement planning throgh schedule line category -CT ( CT means there will not be any inventory or good movement and requirement will not be passed for MRP ) .Only CP -line item categoery does requirement passing through MRP and it will show u in MD04. So the summery is if you want to generate an MTO order for the same FG material , you should matian the Sales Line item categoery as MTO in sales Org View and it will pop up in VA01 whiel logging Sales Order .
Generally , TAQ item categoery are used in Project Billing or Delivery .ok and they will not be having any availabilit check so it KP ( no check ) .
But for MTO order , you should have availablty chek 02/01 in MRP3 view and also MTO Sales Item categoery .
Based on the above information logg an sales order , release credit chek in VKM3, SAVE and check in MD04.
Create PIR in MD61 and Run MRP on the both cases .I have tested its working .but noit with TAQ item categoery ok
2.Why do you need to create Sales Order for dependent Item-Y because it will be in X-BOM item ? Make sure that Y- should have Sales Item categoery in material master -MM02-Sales Org View as NORM item .If you really want to create sale sorder for this item , it should TAN or NORM .
3.Other PIR detail is fine .

When changing the default printer in windows vista why doesn't the default printer change in firefox (firefox was running when the default printer was changed)?

I am not sure whether or not this is a bug or a feature, but I was running firefox on my laptop. I then went to add a new printer and set it as a default printer. When I went back to firefox to print, it did not automatically choose that new default printer as the printer of choice. I then had to choose the new printer manually to print to. This is merely a convenience issue but thought I would bring it to the attention of Mozilla in case.

do you have your previous printer also, or you uninstall the previous printer and then install the new one and make it default ?
I think firefox must be closed when you set up a new printer. Do you have it open when set up the new printer ?

AppleWorks 6.2.9 Updater not running because of default?

I have version 5.0.4 of AppleWorks, so I decided to update it with the 6.2.9 Updater. Whenever I run the program, a window pops up saying "The default location for this install could not be found. This install was canceled." How do I change the default?

There is NO updater available allowing you to update from AW 5.0.4 to AW 6.x.
This kind of upgrade is a MAJOR one. You must buy the product in the version 6.
At this time the current version is AW 6.2.9 and it seems that is is the ultimate one.
You may find AW 6.x versions at low cost on ebay or thru some other vendors.

you can set the webtemplate created by you as the default webtemplate from transaction RSCUSTV21.
once its set, if you open query on the web (from query desinger,etc) it will utilize the default template you have set.

Problem running app in default server (Jdev 11g)

I am pretty new to Java/Jdev and I am facing some problems trying to run the application as laid out in the example tutorial from http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/11/cuecards/adf_set_22/ccset22_ALL.html. You need to provide some more details about your query. The output of the payment run gets generated based on the payment method and payment media used. E.g.:-
(1) If RFFOEDI1 assigned to payment method and IDOC generated, then the payment output gets stored in database table EDID4. and IDOC goes to UNIX based on the path defined in the port (WE21) assigned to partner profile (WE20) assigned to house bank (FI12)
(2) If DME file is get generated, then the path is determined based on the path defined in the variant of the DME program SAPFPAYM.
(3) If it is bill of exchange, then the path gets determined based on the path given in FBWP.

I don't use any javascripts on my web site. And when I check the loading time of my page,a third of the time is due to javascripts (sitenavigation.js, sitenavigationfunctions.js, contributor.js and ssajax.js).

Determine whether application is running in (the default) sandbox

I have searched the documentation and lists for the answer to this and have sofar found nothing. If it exists, I apologise and please point me to the relevant page(s).
I have an application which I want to be able to run in two modes, in sandbox (so as not to bother the user with those questions) and, if the user really does want to print/email/clipboard, to give permission. I do NOT control (or want to amend) some of the code which performs these operations, e.g. 3rd party report generator, Javamail, which would seem to exclude use of jnlp runtime API.
1. Is the jnlp API the only way to get JWS to ask the user for permission at runtime? Or is there another combination of <all-permissions>, signing, security properties which I have control over form the jnlp file, which I can use?
2. Anyway there would appear to be no API in jnlp for getting permission to access a socket that the mail (Javamail/Java Activition) requires. Is this correct?
3. Can I tell from the application whether it is sandboxed or not? Part of the problem is that the report generator hangs (its thread stops) when all-permissions has not been granted. If I could tell that the app is in a sandbox, I could inform the user to start the app (or maybe restart it automagically) from a different jnlp file which asks those questions.
Very grateful for any help to get the security of the app clean and presentable for average end users.

Thanks. And I think I now understand all the issues. But none of it really helps.
Remember I have some jars over which I have no control - and I don't actually know which services they are going to require. For example, the Report Generator fails with some reports but not others and I assume (but I don't know) that this is because it is trying to open a temporary file.
I feel it would be better is the whole question of operating outside the sandbox was addressed by asking the user only when the application tries to do an "unsafe" operation. This way we can do away with the ridiculous proposition that a user is qualified to examine a "verifyable" or "unverifyable" certificate in anticipation of an event of which he has no prior knowledge, Or indeed, asking the developer to code certain operations differently because the app will be running in a sandbox. In fact, I see no function in the JNLP API to ask the user if one can open a remote socket - so one is forced back to the signed certificates and "those questions".
So why not recast the security model so the user is asked specifically about dodgy operations - along with the opportunity to allow similar operations again without asking. This would seem to me to make alot more sense.

Is there a way to create a custom inline tag or label in a FrameMaker document?

I am trying to draft a requirements document that has an inline tag offset by brackets for every requirement listed. I would then like to generate a table of contents to keep track of the locations of these tags within the document. (I know tag and bookmark are not the correct terms for this, but I can't think of a better one)
The format should be something like this:
The software package shall [SRD_XXXX] be verified by the operator.
Where the "SRD_" is the label and "XXXX" is an auto-incrementing numeric value assigned to this requirement.

There are two approaches that I know of, both touched on in that old thread:
Zeroes as tab leaders (trickier to set up, easier to maintain)
Literal leading zeroes in a small suite of autonumbers (easier to set up, trickier to maintain)
You'd have separate formats for SRD-000x, SRD-00xx, SRD-0xxx and SRD-xxxx and would need to
mind break-points so you avoid things like SRD-00010 (extra digits).

As isolated paras either in the main narrative or on reference pages, you can get this. Using cross-references is just a variation on the now-documented EndNote hack. As with EndNotes, the main risk is if you move the main narrative Xref, as it will then be out of order.
But you can have in-narrative "isolated" paragraphs that look like words in the middle of a para, by using Run-In paragraph formats. In a para that looks like:

would actually be three paragraphs run together.
"The software package shall" is format, say, Body.Lead, Pagination <*> Run-In Head -- Default Punc {space}{left-bracket}
"SRD_XXXX" is format, say, SRD, Pagination <*> Run-In Head -- Default Punc {right-bracket}{space}
"be verified by the operator." is just normal Body
Para format SRD would have whatever auto-number scheme you decide on.

SSRS 2008 R2 Report parameters have default values and report not to auto run

Hi, I am using SSRS 2008 R2 one of my requirements for a Report is all the parameters have default value and I do not want this report to auto run when users open this report. I can create a dummy hidden parameter to break the auto run for this
report. But I am looking for solutions other than that.

According to your description, you have a report with parameters. Now you want you report not to run automatically with your parameters default values. Right?
In Reporting Service, if you have parameters with default values in your report, your report will always auto run with these default values. We can say these default values are used for report running initially. So for your requirement, if you really need
to see your default value before the report running, the best workaround is set one more parameter to break the auto run like you have done. If you just want your report not to auto run, your can achieve it by removing those default values.
