Run PSP Samples

Question

I've successfully loaded the HelloWorld.psp example using loadpsp
The procedure was loaded to database lang91e2 under userid portal30.
When I open my browser and enter the url - http://hal:7777/pls/portal30 - I see the inital portal screen and can log in as portal30 without any problems.
Portal30 dad points to lang91e2 database.
However when I enter http://hal:7777/pls/portal30/helloworld - I get the Page Cannot be displayed error.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Hi,
Looking at the URL, we infer that you could be using the DAD that is created by portal installation. In that case, what happens is that the portal login internally maps to the portal_public user in the database created as part of the portal installation. Please try the following :
1. Logon to the database user portal30 from sql*plus.
2. Grant execute privilege on helloworld procedure to portal30_public or public :
GRANT execute ON helloworld to portal30_public;
or
GRANT execute ON helloworld TO public;
3. Now, access this procedure using the url like :
http://hal:7777/pls/portal30/portal30.helloworld
In case if you still have problems with this, you could also create another DAD for connecting to the portal30 user and try running the procedure with the same url i.e http://hal:7777/pls/portal30dad/helloworld
