RUNDLL error in P 17.dll missing entry:P17 hel

Does anyone have a solution to the error message that appears?at bootup, ?"Rundll error in P7.dll missing entry: P7, helper" ? After reformating my computer and reinstalling the Audigy LS software from the CD that came with the card, this is the message I get. If I uninstall all the software and drivers per solution ID 72 and download and install the latest drivers and applications, the error message does not appear. BUT, I lose the graphic equalizer. When I do a Google search, a hacker web site appears. Yet, when I run a Trend antivirus scan from their website and an AVG virus scan, no infection is found. When I run AdAware SE, no adware or spyware is found. A search on this forum or the knowledge base turns up no results for this error message. The sound card, software and computer seem to run fine otherwise. Any ideas anyone? Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

After uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, I had that same issue. Googling led me to believe it was spyware, so I installed several spyware removal tools which didn't solve the problem. I then downloaded several registry cleaners which didn't help either. I eventually did this...click Start, then Run. In the open box, type "msconfig" (w/o the quotes) and click OK. Click the Startup tab. Scroll down and look for the item "Rundll32 P7" and uncheck the box next to it. Upon reboot, you shouldn't receive that error message anymore. The first time you reboot, you will prolly receive a Windows dialog saying you're now running in Selecti've Startup, but there's an option not to show that message anymore. I don't think the whole P7 thing caused any probs on my machine, but it was annoying to get that message every startup.

  • Error while startup: msvcrt.dll missing

    Hi,
on some boxes (maybe windows 2000 ) we get a error while startup: msvcrt71.dll missing ...
    what´s the problem ?

    Andre,
since this is difficult to answer without a detailed description of the use
case, could you please post information about the how and what you are
trying to start, i.e. the command line, the operating system and what
version of JRockit you are using and have installed.
The file msvcr71.dll is needed by a few launchers and libraries inside the
JRockit JDK but those cases should be covered if launching using e.g.
java.exe. The only case that comes to mind is if you are trying to load the
jvm.dll directly, if that is the case you should copy
    <jrockit-jdk>/jre/bin/msvcr71.dll to
<jrockit-jdk>/jre/bin/jrockit/msvcr71.dll to see if it helps.
    Best Regards
    /Robert

  • Zennw32.dll missing entry point

    Hi,
I have a couple of machines that are displaying the above error message
when they log in. This only affects about 2 or 3 computers at a time
and happens quite rarely in the past but now more frequently.
the Pc's are imaged from a bulk image and all of the other machines are
    running fine.
I've searched for duplicates of the zenlite.dll as was suggested in
other posts but found only one in \program files\novell\zenworks (which
is also set in the environment variables).
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Gary.

    Thanks Dave,
I'll have a look at that when I get the chance, problem is that
somebody's taken my test machine and re-imaged it.
It'll pop up again though I'm sure.
    Gary.

  • ERROR 7 (Windows Error 126) and MSVCR80.dll missing. HERE IS THE SOLUTION!

Read the instructions very carefully and follow the steps exactly as shown: http://http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923 "Removing and reinstalling itunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8".
After completing STEP 2, you may still find a couple of applications (icloud & mobile). You may only see the "change" option. If so, click on "change", it will prompt you to the uninstall option. Click on "uninstall" and the applications will be removed.
Tip: You may still find a shortcut and a file called itunes64setup on your desktop. DO NOT DELETE THEM.
Restart  your PC as indicated in STEP 3, and reinstall you itunes. You´ll have it alive again!
Tip: make sure you're running the latest Windows updates.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

  • CoreFoundation.dll missing reinstall

I installed CS6... Some times, but not all the time, I get a error box saying " CoreFoundation.dll missing reinstall program" I have deleted and reinstalled Itunes and Quicktime Pro but i still get the message now and then.
Any ideas what is going on?

Corefoundation.dll is not provided with Photoshop, and is not relied-upon by any Photoshop components as far as I know.  You have correctly surmised that it's involved with Apple software.
Have you copied any plug-ins from a prior installation of Photoshop?
A quick search of my own Windows 7 x64 system reveals corefoundation.dll in these locations:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\CoreFoundation.dll
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\CoreFoundation.dll
Notably neither of these folders in in my path.

  • Ahclient.dll missing

I am trying to install a texture panel and I get an error that the ahclient.dll missing. What do I need to do. Using PS CC 2014.

Gene, is the panel rated OK for CC 2014?  Are you aware that CC2014 uses HTML5 as opposed to Flash, and that Flash extensions will not work?  I don't know if this is relevant, but you could try installing the panel to Photoshop CC 14.2
I'm guessing you are using Windows because of the dll file. but can you tell us which version, and which texture panel you are trying to install?

  • Why did I get error msg that "MSVCR80.dll is missing" when I tried to update iTunes to 11.1.4?  Never had such an issue before when updating iTunes.

Can anyone help with the question, above?  Why an error msg that "MSVCR80.dll is missing" when attempting to update iTunes to version 11.1.4 on my laptop?

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
See also HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP or HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    and paste into:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.
