Running 1Gb Single Channel on Neo2?

Has anyone ran their ram in Single channel dimms 1&3?
With auto setting in the bios, the ram was booting at ddr333, i changed the setting in the bios to ddr400 (200Mhz) and it booted fine but in 2T. Ok as the option in the bios was 'auto', i selected 1T and it wouldnt boot?
The power was on and it seemed to be working but the monitor didnt respond, the light on the monitor was yellow (idle).
Is that normal that 1Gb of ram in Single Channel running DDR400 (200Mhz in bios) at 2T?

Slots 1 & 2 - That's the one green and one purple closest to the cpu.  The manual is a little confusing when it talks about filling green first, etc.

  • Trouble with Mobo running on single channel

    I bought a pair of identical 1GB DDR2 PC2-5300 (667mhz) chips for my P4M890/900M2 motherboard and Windows 7 and my bios are only registering 1gb. CPU-Z is showing that I'm running on a single channel only, from what I've looked into, this problem seems to occur only if the chips aren't identical, but mine are; what gives? Anyone have an idea as to whats wrong?

    There is no mention of dual channel for this Via chipset:

  • DDR2 is seen as single channel???

    Thanks in advance for all of your help!
    I have a K9N Neo-F MB AM2 socket with a GB of OCZ DDR2 667MHz that is seen by the bios as single channel.  Is there a jumper  that I need to have connected or is there a bios setting that I need to change?  If it is a jumper which one is it?

    Do you have 1 stick or 2?
    If it is just one stick then it will only operate at single channel.  If you have 2 sticks then make sure that they are in the first 2 slots closest to your CPU (the slots should be colored differently) and then you will have dual channel.
    If this does not help then you will need to give us more info about your comp.  Like BIOS version, PSU ratings, etc.
    I agree unless the RAM is a single then it run's in single channel or IF you have both it could be that you put the wrong dimms which is also another possibility to run in single channel but not in dual channel...Refer to the mobo manual about the RAM setting. (Should be Dimm 1/3 or Dimm 2/4). Gd luck

  • K9n2 sli platinum will only boot/post when running single channel

    Hey
    I am having problems with the rig when i want memory to run Dual channel.
    I have tried all bios settings (or at least i think so) and all memory slot combination (or at least i think so) without any luck.
    When i put 2 sticks in dimm 1+2 I get nothing but a black screen.
    When I then turn my pc off, putting 1 stick in dimm 1 it will boot and I get the message: DQS training failed on previous boot.
    Mainboard: MSI K9N2 Sli platinum
    CPU: AMD 5600X2 Windsor 2x1mb cache
    HD: have tried with WD 250gb and hitachi 160gb sata2

    Motherboard have BIOS 3.1 ( so there should be no problem with running the cpu)
    everything except for mainboard have been testet with other gear and is working 100%
    Memory passed memtest with no errors.
    Some facts
    1 stick in dimm 1 = boot/post single channel
    1 stick in dimm 2 = black screen.
    1 stick in dimm 3 = boot/post single channel
    1 stick in dimm 4 = black screen
    1 stick in dimm 1 + 2 = black screen.
    1 stick in dimm 1 + 3 = boot/post single channel
    1 stck in dimm 2 + 4 black screen
    1 stckk in dimm  3 + 4 black screen.
    1 stick in 1 + 4 = Boot/postor black screen..cant remember but for sure not dual.
    1 stick in 2 + 3 = boot/post or black screen..cant remember but for sure not dual
    I have tried:
    manual timming settings, both recommended and lower timmings.
    Auto timmings
    More volt to memory
    More volt to cpu
    Tried 800, 667, 553 and 400mhz
    Tried sli memory disabled and enabled

    Have you tried taking the board out of the case and setting up outside on a flat anti-static surface? Maybe there is something shorting the back of the board where the DIMM slot is.
    If no change:
    Leave just one memory stick in 1st DIMM close to CPU socket,
    ensure that system is stable the flash to the latest BIOS ==>

    With the last BIOS, it states that 4GB modules may be possible, but looking at the memory test report http://www.msi.com/file/test_report/TR10_1393.pdf  it seems this was only done for DDR2 modules, as these are the only ones reflecting this.
    Suggest you check with MSI technical if the BIOS should accommodate DDR3 4GB modules as well.  >>How to contact MSI.<<
    Do a CMOS clear, then once in the BIOS, set your DRAM ratio so that the DRAM is at 1066. See if that works.

  • Similar channel into single channel

    Dear All,
    Is there any way to merge the multiple similar channel to single channel without flattening layers.
    If pantone reflex blue 3 times is there means i need to merge it into single reflex blue channel.
    Pls help..
    Thank you,
    Joe

    Yes spot channel only and in Same document itself.
    And the above script need to run in Extend tool script?. Coz by this script there is no changes happening.
    By using Apply image can merge only two channels at a time. And after merged into a single channel source channel also remains.
    For ex,  Pantone Reflex Blue 1
          Pantone Reflex Blue 2
    Now i need to merge into 1. so after Merging by using Apply image
    Pantone Reflex Blue 1 2
    Pantone Reflex Blue 2 (But this is to be automatically deleted after merging, which is not possible by using Apply image)
    By using the script this needs to be recover
    1) In channel options
    Color indicates - Spot Color
    Color - Reflex Blue
    Solidity - 0%
    In same way i have taken the separation in different area of my image with same spot color.
    2) If process color are taken as spot channel that also need to merge with process channel (CMYK)
    Color indicates - Spot color
    Color - C100%
    Solidity - 0%
    If this is option selected in this channel to be merge with Cyan process color channel.
    By using Apply image option i used to give Multiply only and Opacity to 100%. Same need to apply this script. Pls help..
    Thank you,

  • Multiple Endpoints Single Channel

    I am working on a project, that requires instancing of our
    flex application. One idea that I came up with was to allow for
    multiple urls to access the same data based on several variables.
    One key components for this idea to work is being able to use
    multiple endpoints with in the same channel in my
    services-config.xml file.
    Right now this is what my channel setup looks like.
    <channels>
    <channel-definition id="cfamf"
    class="mx.messaging.channels.AMFChannel">
    <endpoint uri="
    http://admin.mydomain.com/flex2gateway/"
    class="flex.messaging.endpoints.AMFEndpoint"/>
    <properties>
    <polling-enabled>false</polling-enabled>
    <serialization>
    <instantiate-types>false</instantiate-types>
    </serialization>
    </properties>
    </channel-definition>
    <channel-definition id="cfamf"
    class="mx.messaging.channels.AMFChannel">
    <endpoint uri="
    http://user.mydomain.com/flex2gateway/"
    class="flex.messaging.endpoints.AMFEndpoint"/>
    <properties>
    <polling-enabled>false</polling-enabled>
    <serialization>
    <instantiate-types>false</instantiate-types>
    </serialization>
    </properties>
    </channel-definition>
    </channels>
    Ideally I would prefer it to act like this.
    <channel-definition id="cfamf"
    class="mx.messaging.channels.AMFChannel">
    <endpoint uri="
    http://admin.mydomain.com/flex2gateway/"
    class="flex.messaging.endpoints.AMFEndpoint"/>
    <endpoint uri="
    http://user.mydomain.com/flex2gateway/"
    class="flex.messaging.endpoints.AMFEndpoint"/>
    <properties>
    <polling-enabled>false</polling-enabled>
    <serialization>
    <instantiate-types>false</instantiate-types>
    </serialization>
    </properties>
    </channel-definition>
    </channels>

    one AP will only serve a single channel per spectrum. If you have multiple SSID they can be on the same channel with no issue, so long as you're not running more than 4-5. After that you start to cause issues inside your own network.
    If you absolutely had to run them on different channels, you would need multiple AP to accomplish that.
    But as I said, you shouldn't need to.

    Hey smoothdurban,
    I've seen Brad's code, and trust me, it's worth the effort to let him help you get it up and running - it's definitely the most ideal way to solve this problem.  However, as Brad said, there are multiple ways to tackle this - both interactive and programmatic - so in the meantime, I'll take a second to detail one of the interactive and sure-fire ways to find the average of data between two points on a single channel.
    We'll use"Flags."  Set up your VIEW graph exactly as you did on your original screenshot, using Band Cursors to approximate the beginning and ending X-values representing the range you want to examine.  Next:
    1. Click the "Set Flags" button () that is a part of your 2D Axis System.  Note that you can hold down the Shift button if you ever decide you want to do this on more than a single curve at one time.
    2. Select the "Flags: Copy Data Points" button that enables after Flags are set.
    3. This creates new channel(s) in the default (bold) group in the Data Portal that contains only the Flagged data.
    4. Select DIAdem ANALYSIS.
    5. Select Statistics » Descriptive Statistics.
    6. In the Channels input, select the newly created channel containing your Flagged Y-Data.
    7. Ensure that the Arithmetic Mean parameter is set.  You can preview the data and the result in the dialog before pressing OK to execute the calculation.
    You may have noticed that in the Descriptive Statistics calculation, one of the parameters that you can set is the range of channel rows to operate on - so, if you know the row numbers of your beginning and ending X-values, you could just simply run the Descriptive Statistics calculation and use this parameter to operate on a row subset of your original channel instead of the entire channel.

  • Running Multiple SQL in a Single Worksheet: Can I Selectively Run a Single SQL and Append Output?

    In any release of SD, if I have a single worksheet containing 10 sqls. Is it possible to place the cursor on any of the sql and run only that sql, yet, append its output to existing output window. I can then select another sql and execute it and keep appending output. In other words, do not clear existing output or start a new output tab.
    As it exists today (in any release), I can either 'run script' which does append, but it executes all the sql (non-selective). Alternately, I can 'run statement' to selectively run a single sql, but it will clear the output window (or if pinned), start a new one. None of this is what I want.
    Thank you.

    Select the query you want to run. Execute it via F5. Then highlight the next query and repeat.
    The output will append to the Script Output panel.
    There's no way to get 2 queries to share a grid, unless you were to run them as a single query a la UNION.

    Hi,
    I am trying to Set/Get Volume level of Input device which has only single channel but no master channel, then it fails to retrieve the kAudioDevicePropertyPreferredChannelsForStereo and intermittently kAudioDevicePropertyVolumeScalar for each channel. But this works well for Output device.
    So is there any difference in setting/getting the volume of input channels?
    I am pasting the downloadable link to sample.

    That works but the the game will not be in full screen, it will have an empty strip at the bottom.
    I actually found out what's the problem. I traced the stageWidth and stageHeight during resizing event. I found out that when it first resized, the stage width and height were the size with the notification bar. So when I pass the stage into startling, myStarling = new Starling(Game,stage), the stage is in the wrong size. For some reason, I can only get the correct stage width and height after the third resizing event.
    So now I need to restart Starling everytime a resizing event happened. It gives me the right result but I am not sure it is a good idea to do that.
    And thanks a lot for your time kglad~I really appriciate your help.

  • Currently Unavailable Message for a Single Channel

    Has anyone had this issue with a single channel?  The new FSC HD (584) that just came out last week worked for 1/2 a day then it started showing Currently Unavailable.  I had a technician out a few days later and he checked signal strength, changed all the connections at the splitter on every line and the channel started to show up again.  Two days later it went back to Currently Unavailable.   After 2 hours on the phone, an hour tech visit, an hour on online chat, researching all I could, etc. they have no clue what to do and now I have to wait for a technician to come out again in 7 days!!!!!   Gotta love Verizon!
    I can't believe that there is no record of another customer having this issue in their tech support databases and someone can tell me something other than unplug the connection and plug it back in.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    The technician changed out all of the connections into and out of the splitter. We also reconnected everything along with way (at the router, to the TVs and from the wall plates, etc.).   It worked fine for a day or two then went out again on all of the TVs.  Then this morning the channel is appearing again (without doing anything), but it's just a matter of time until it goes out again.   My question is I could understand a connection issue if it were all of the HD channels, but why on just this one (the newest one released about a week ago, doesn't happen on the previously released HD channel BET).

    Answer is no, you have to either upgrade to a higher tier or subscribe to the sports package. You're basically asking for ala carte channels (as walt said), while that is most of us would want, it just is not available.
