RUNNING CALENDAR

I CREATED THE PLX BUT WHEN I RUN THE FORM IT GIVES ME THE SAME ERROR 40039 CANNOT ATTACH LIBRARY CALENDAR WHILE OPENING FORM CALENDAR

If you are using Unix OAS, then check the library name. If it is in upper case then you should attach the PLL in the upper case and vice versa.
If pll is in upper case and you have attached the pll with smaller case then it will give this error which you have mentioned.
If you are using 2 tier architecture then check your forms_path. It should contain the path where your pll and plx are physically present.
Hope this helps.

  • How to run calendar.fmb

    i downloaded the calendar.fmb and olb and pll and attached the pll library to the form and draged the olb to the form when i compile the form it gives me some errors about things that r not declared so if any one have this form running will he please send it to me and if there r any scripts to any tables in it thanks my mail is [email protected] and when i attach the pll i run the form it runs but it gives me an error 40039 cannot attach library calendar while opening form calendar

    calendar.fmb doesnt need any tables and thats why it runs fine when u attach the pll.
    Whats missing for you is FORMS_PATH or FORMS90_PATH is not configured.
    Put the directory where u kept the pll/plx in the above and it should fix issue..

  • How to exit out of birthday calendar and see my personalized calendar

    Hi, Might be a dumb question but ever since I upgraded to Maverick, I can’t see my own personalized calendar. I launch the calendar and all I can see is the holiday calendar or the birthday calendar and i’m not allowed to make changes to either so they are both useless to me. But that’s not the point. I would like to have my own calendar to keep track of my own events. Nevemind I had a running calendar before upgrading and haven’t a clue what happened to all that. Maybe when I see my personalized calendar it will be there but I can’t figure out how to get to it.
    Thanks

    I turned on iCloud and all of a sudden my personal calendar is back. I don’t understand any of this and I turned on iCloud for a different reason but at least it’s back. Good luck to all

  • Contacts and Calendar Services Broken

    I have a new build of Mountain Lion Server 10.8.2 and am having problems with the Contacts and Calendar services.
    The server is an Open Directory Master.
    I did this build by installing Mountain Lion 10.8 on a new hard drive. I had no interest in migrating any data except for the Open Directory, so I created an Open Directory archive to restore from with the new build. I then removed the old Lion Server boot drive and installed the Mountain Lion Server drive, then installed Server app. I moved the data stores to the RAID before starting any services.
    DNS, DHCP, File Sharing, FTP, Mail, Messages, NetInstall, Profile Manager, Software Update, Time Machine, VPN, Websites and Wiki all work normally. I also use Portable Home Directories. I've only dabbled a bit with Mail, Profile Manager and Wiki, but I have not encountered any problems with them. I use the other services rather heavily. Everything is working great except Contacts and Calendar.
    sudo changeip -checkhostname returns:
    Primary address     = 10.0.0.2
    Current HostName    = myserver.mydomain.private
    DNS HostName        = myserver.mydomain.private
    The names match. There is nothing to change.
    dirserv:success = "success"
    In the Server app both Contacs and Calendars turn on and appear to be working. I have the self-signed certificate created by the sever app assigned to the services. I am unable to log in clients to either Contacts or Calendar service via browser or through iCal or Contacs apps. The apps first notify that a secure connection is not possible. Then when I proceed I get authentication failures, even though the credentials are correct. Removing the certificate from the services has no improvement.
    When I run "sudo serveradmin fullstatus calendar" I get the following output:
    calendar:setStateVersion = 1
    calendar:logPaths:LogFile = "/var/log/caldavd/access.log"
    calendar:logPaths:ErrorLog = "/var/log/caldavd/error.log"
    calendar:state = "RUNNING"
    calendar:servicePortsAreRestricted = "NO"
    calendar:servicePortsRestrictionInfo = _empty_array
    calendar:readWriteSettingsVersion = 1
    Examining /var/log/caldavd/error.log I find this interesting message:

    It seems as though upon setting the data store to the RAID that not all the necessary directories and files were created for the Contacts and Calendar services. Is there a way to create them new? Remember, there is no Contact or Calendar data to save. I am starting with a clean slate.
    Assuming the problem lies with the missing directories in my data store location, is there a way to either create the missing directories & files, or just rebuild the two servieces from scratch?

    Back up all files.
    Quit the Server application and drag it to the Trash, but don't empty. You'll be prompted to confirm that you want to stop all services. You won't lose any server data.
    Put the app back where it was and launch it. Test.

  • What type of calendars does bc offer?

    We are looking for a calendar for our website.  The one we currently use is not working for us.  We want one that will link to pages that host events and also a running calendar of what is happening in our organization.  Any suggestions?

    Hi Jasper and welcome to Discussions,
    iMac Computers (August 2007)
    The iMac Computers introduced in August 2007, based on the Intel Core 2 Duo microprocessor, provide two RAM slots that accommodate 200-pin DDR2 SDRAM SO-DIMMs up to 1.25” in height. The SO-DIMMs must be DDR2-667 (PC2-5300) compliant and must be unbuffered, unregistered, 8-byte, nonparity, and non-ECC.
    The iMac ships with one 1 GB, 667 MHz, SDRAM SO-DIMMs installed, for a total of 1 GB. The largest capacity SO-DIMM supported is 2 GB, for a total maximum of 4 GB.
    Memory configure-to-order options are: two 1 GB DIMMs for a total of 2 GB or two 2 GB DIMM for a total of 4 GB.
    The memory controller supports 1 GB and 2 GB SO-DIMMs; other configurations are untested. Because the memory in the two slots is configured as a contiguous array of memory, when both SO-DIMMs are the same size and type, the interleaving function is able to improve performance.
    The iMac supports a CAS latency of 5.
    The width of each 667 MHz memory bus is 64 bits.
    The maximum number of devices per SO-DIMM is 16.
    Regards
    Stefan

  • Cant connect to Calendar server with a variety of errors

    So I had my new OS 10.8 server (2.2.1 169) up and running last night with only a few quirks to work on this morning.
    When I started my day I had some of our people login from an offsite location login and add their profiles to their macs to add the calendars, contacts, and messaging. Everything loaded just fine for the first person and yet when the second person logged in they got errors that the calendar service was "not on a secure connection" and when they forced this through to the next step that no calendar service was to be found. SImultaneously the users that had their calendars up and running from the previous day lost connection with the calendar client returing the error "Calendar couldn’t connect to server.myserver.com. Make sure you’re connected to the Internet, and then try again later."
    Checking the calendar service access log I see that the first person to be setup this morning was the last person to log any activity. So it looks like it isnt even registering acesss from any client. I tried logging in from the comman line with "sudo serveradmin fullstatus calendar" and I get:
    calendar:setStateVersion = 1
    calendar:logPaths:LogFile = "/var/log/caldavd/access.log"
    calendar:logPaths:ErrorLog = "/var/log/caldavd/error.log"
    calendar:state = "RUNNING"
    calendar:servicePortsAreRestricted = "NO"
    calendar:servicePortsRestrictionInfo = _empty_array
    calendar:readWriteSettingsVersion = 1
    So I tried restarting the calendar service. No difference. Then I checked the calendar error log and I saw this message repeatedly:
    2013-04-25 09:13:55-0700 [-] [notifications] 2013-04-25 09:13:55-0700 [APNProviderProtocol (TLSMemoryBIOProtocol),client] <twext.internet.adaptendpoint.LegacyClientFactoryWrapper instance at 0x1040382d8> will retry in 2 seconds

    Seeing this was tied to the push updates I turned that off. Now the constant error I am getting is:

    So I reset that email account's password and re-entered it into the mail client to insure it worked.
    Next step was a full restart of the computer. No difference. I tried turning the push updates and here is what came out:

    And my calendar client is returning the following error:
    http://server.myserver.com/principals/__uids__/288A4655-0D47-441B-8E0D-D6C99D159 8DD/ is not a location that supports this request.
    I am thoroughly stumped!
    I have Calendar, Contacts, DNS, File Sharing, FTP, Messages, Open Directory, Profile Manager, Software Update, Time Machine, Web, and Wiki running.

    The name of the server should be server.ls1inc.com
    I checked under the network tab of the server name and it has the correct host name there. Also in the DNS pane the proper settings are intact. Where else should I be checking?
    After turning off a bunch of services and restarting the persistant error is:

    In /Library/Logs/PostgreSQL/PostgreSQL.log I can see many enries with this:
    2013-06-12 12:50:05 CEST ERROR:  canceling statement due to statement timeout
    bash-3.2# serveradmin status calendar
    calendar:state = "RUNNING"

    A co-worker has access to around 10 shared calendars and gets a lot of errors similiar to the following screenshot:
    https://31337deadbeef.cc/ical-500-error.jpg
    And more and more co-worker report the same behavior.
    To make it clear. This happens not all the day long, just from time to time, but it's annoying. What could be the cause?
    I found this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3398078?start=75&tstart=0
    But we do NOT use the wiki stuff on our server.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated
    Thanks,
    Sirko

    Hi,
    Sorry not to be able to give a better solution but you may get more information by posting this to the Calendar Server Users mailing list:

  • Calendar Settings reset after reboot

    Hi,
    Could anybody please check if you have the same issue on your phone?
    Sony Calendar resets settings after reboot.
    For example, if I set "Week starts on" = "Monday" and reboot the phone, this settings will be back to "Sunday" (which is the default).
    I am now running Calendar 20.0.A.2.5, but I believe this bug was there before as well (even on my old Xperia V, I believe)
    P.S. I found this topic, but either I didn't understand the solution correctly or it doesn't work for me... I tried to disable the Calendar app, but it didn't help in any way...
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I will forward this internally for further investigation. I will update you as soon as i have more information.
    But as a possible workaround, i suspect you have selected a country/region under Settings -> Language & input -> Language where the week normally is set to start on Sunday like English US? If you are in the Netherlands but want the phone on english you could try setting it to English UK instead to avoid this until i have more information.

  • Calendar events disappear

    I've just got back from my physio who is ready to dump Calendar on iCloud because it has suddenly become unreliable.  She is normally in week view and increasingly sees blanks, books people in - only to find that the next time she looks, there are two events for the same time (she gets to see the correct view by juggling between day, week and month views).  She is running Calendar on Windows 7 (but sees the appointments OK on her iPhone) and I wonder if this is a known problem for Windows users?
    I'm a Mac user, so cant help her any more. This is the French countryside, so she has few experts to turn to.

    I have had several issues with events randomly being deleted as well. No luck yet figuring out the cause.

  • Convergence and Calendar Server 6.3

    Good Morning,
    We are in the process of looking at upgrading to Convergence 2.0. We are still running Calendar Server 6.3. From looking at the wiki page: https://wikis.oracle.com/display/CommSuite/Convergence+Patches+by+Release
    It appears that I can install Convergence 2 Patch 2 and still be compatible with Calendar Server 6.3. Is that correct?
    We need to get upgraded so that we have the support for newer versions of IE and to get our customization done before looking to upgrade to Calendar Server 7.
    Thanks,
    Doug

    Yes, Calendar 6.3 (patch -44 or higher) is compatible with Convergence 2.

  • How to write,compile and run Thread

    i want to write a thread which runs at 12 o'clock night and then execute daily at 12 o'clock and execute some SQL query. plz send me the code which use extend method. and waht is the code to start it auttomatically at a perticular time

    As an altnative, use the Calendar Object to calculate the next time you want to run, then sleep for that figure less the current time.
    Something like:
    public void run() {
      Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
      Date now = Calendar.getTime();
      cal.set(Calendar.HOUR, 12);
      cal.set(Calendar.MINUTE, 0);
      cal.set(Calendar.SECOND, 0);
      if(!cal.getTime().after(now))  // is it already after 12?
        cal.add(Calendar.DAY_OF_YEAR, 1);
      for(;;) {
        sleep(cal.getTime().getTime() - now.getTime());
        ... do your stuff
        cal.add(Calendar.DAY_OF_YEAR, 1);
        now = new Date();

  • Oh where oh where have my calendars gone?

    I am running Calendar v6.0 (1648) on two different machines running 10.8.4.  For some reason, Calendar will not display my Gmail calendars on my rMBP no matter how I configure the CalDAV account...I have spent 8 hours on this problem, and even re-installed OSX to no avail.  Can someone **please** help me bring my google calendars back to the Calendar.app???  I am exhausted from searching and trying different things (cleaning out caches, deleting plist files, deleting/re-installing accounts, re-installing OSX...nothing seems to work ).
    I was shocked to see that on my brand new mac mini (the other machine running 10.8.4), I set up the google account exactly the same way and presto blammo my google calendars populated just fine.
    There has got to be a corrupted preference file somewhere that I am missing
    I have tried these steps as well as these and even played with sync services troubleshooting on apple's site.
    I should mention that the OSX re-install was in place; so whatever is causing Calendar to biff was not fixed by the OS itself.
    I'm completely puzzled and exhausted now...please let me know if I can provide any diagnostic data.  Console reports correct creation of the google account in Calendar.app, but my calendars still won't show up

    The account seems to add just fine...and 'Gmail' shows up in the sidebar (with show/hide as appropriate upon hover); however, none of the calendars actually load...Calendar remains a blank slate.  I verified the behavior on my "working" copy of ML, in which the calendars loaded almost instantly from Gmail's servers.
    Since last week, I have performed a bottom-up reinstall of OSX.  I know the Migration assistant is convenient when upgrading and/or moving machines, but my [corrupted] preferences had been migrated 3 times across OSX versions and new laptops (baseline: Snow Leopard).  I can only imagine that something was lost in translation.
    My new installation feels a lot snappier, and I believe I have even been freed of a puzzling anomaly that I also could never answer: Spotlight was always re-indexing Macintosh HD whenever I logged out/rebooted the new ML install...I use spotlight nearly exclusively for launching applications.  With the buggy migration settings, I always had to wait upon logging in...even  applications didn't show up in Spotlight's results.  Now, in the "bottom-up" re-install, that wait is over, and I can access applications through Spotlight almost instantly upon login (phew).
    I had always wondered how many times I could actually "migrate" my data across system upgrades without losing efficiency.  In my case, that number appears to be 3.  Sure, re-installing everything is a bit tedious, but all of my labor-intensive efforts (read: applescript) translate easily with a 'sudo cp' command from an archived profile.  Needless to mention...the modern conveniences of iCloud and cloud-synching applications make things so much easier.
    From this point forward, I actually have a Time Machine available for backups.  This, also, will probably speed up a bottom-up reinstall, should the need arise in the future.
    Let me know if anyone comes up with any further ideas...but from my point of view, the "damage" has already been rectified, and I'm on to greener pastures.  I still have the buggy [migrated] profile on a bootable disk if anyone wants to try solutions...

  • Calendar Migration 10g - 10g

    Hi,
    We are currently running calendar 10.1.2 and because of a few problems, Oracle recommended a full OCS reinstall. So right now, we have Email & RTC running in a new oracle home, while the calendar is running in the old Oracle Home. We are having trouble migrating all our data to the new calendar install, using the unicpoutu...it doesn't seem to include everything (such as "Notes" from Outlook). Does anyone have any suggestions for how we could do this, for example migrating the calendar database to our new Oracle Home?
    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hi , i followed the below procedure and it worked fine for 20 .pll files and up to 1500 form modules!!!!!
    1)Open the calendar.pll and all the other .pll files you have in the Forms Builder environment.
    2)Double-click the icon on the source code of each .pll file in the object navigator (in order to cause the system to ask you if you want to save the changes-see below).
    3)Close the .pll source code window.
    4)Select the .pll file (be careful:not a function/procedure which contained in the .pll file).
    5)Press the[b] 'delete' button of object navigator.
    6)Answer 'yes' to the question 'Do you want to save it?'
    You ' are done...
    As regards the object groups , you should simply have opened them in the object navigator before trying to open the modules to compile them...

  • Does 3G have Calendars and Contacts Functionality?

    I have a 40GB 3rd generation touch wheel with dock and remote that doesn't have "extras" in the menu - iTunes runs calendar and contacts sync, and the folders show up on my iPod, but there's no way to access them. I have the most recent software for that model - 2.3. Were those functions just not available for this model, or do I have a weird problem?

    I agree. You could submit feedback to Apple:

  • Calendar server: File not found.

    I upgraded from Mac OS Server 10.6.8 to OS X 10.8.2 with Server 2.2. Things went moderately well.
    Circumstances: Prior to the upgrade, I was running services: iCal, AFP, Open Directory, Web, including wiki. I eliminated my need for some services, thus, on the new server I only need to run Calendar and Wiki. I turned off the others. Both before and after, I was bound to Active Directory, which is where my hundreds of user accounts reside.
    I have dozens of wikis, available at web addresses such as:
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/class1astronomy/
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/class2economics/
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/chapel/
    Each wiki includes a calendar. Example calendar addresses:
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/class1astronomy/calendar/
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/class2economics/calendar/
    https://wiki.example.com/wiki/projects/chapel/calendar/
    Issue: Many of the calendars have upgraded successfully. However, roughly 20-25% of the calendars are failing. If attempting to view the calendar via the web, these failing calendars start to load, but then return the error, "Calendar server returned an error: File not found."
    Ideas?

    Have same on Server X 4.0. Just installed it and run to discover. Didn't made much setups but I remember that I changed language and try play with resource on server. Don't know which file missing due to my fresh installation, reinstallation and trying to solve it by playing with folder /library/server/calendar and contacts - no results.
