Running FOXFIRE 6.0 on a Windows 7system and when I go to Sync I can not find the option of adding another device. Where is it?
Trying to sync another computer to sync, but going from Tools to Options to Sync I can not find the Add A Device choice. have looked everywhere but can not find the frame that allows me to enter the codes from the second computer. Have installed the sync function on the first computer and have received a sync key.
What am I missing and where do I find "Add A Device"?

My desktop computer is running Windows 7 and Foxfire 6.0. I had no problem establishing a sync account and obtaining the Foxfire Sync Key. Now I would like to sync my Asus Eee Transformer Tablet running Android 3.2 and Foxfire 3 (for Android). On the tablet I go to Sync, then Connect, and get the three-box code to be entered on the desktop computer where the sync account was established. So far, so good.
I then go back to the desktop computer and in Foxfire click Tools, then Options, then click on the Sync symbol, then click on Set Up Foxfire Sync, which is the only option available. I am then taken to a page with two options: Create A New Account, or Connect. sunce I have already created an account I click on Connect. I then get a page with a three box code and am told to go to the other device (the tablet) and select Add A Device. Unfortunately, on the tablet the only choices available are Sync and connect, which returns a three box code. No where can I find a page or an option fo Add A Device and enter the three box code.
So, in summary, I can not find w page to Add A Device and enter the three box code on either the desktop computer or the tablet. If all else fails, I guess I can go back to day one and establish a new sync account on the desktop computer, or completely give up on the sync, which is a nice feature but one that doesn't work.

If you created those prefs in a previous Firefox version then they will still be there, but they won't have any effect in current Firefox versions, so you can right-click them and choose reset to remove them.

Hi, Need help. I am trying to download the latest iTunes for Windows application but on running the program it says that it can not be completed as it can not find the folder location of the file "iTunes.msi" . Any clues would be appreciated
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

How do I view what slide I'm on out of how many I have total in keynote? I know on powerpoint it's at the bottom right of the window but I can't find it on keynote, nor can I find the option to make it appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Your steps so far are OK but you may want to try:
1 Trash your user library Caches folder (House Icon with short name in Finder window (hard drive window)GOTO:House icon > Library folder > caches folder
2 Trash the com.apple.Safari.plist file in User library > preferences folder > Safari.plist as well as removing the library Safari folder its self.
3 you can selectivly re-install Safari 2.0 from your OS Tiger Install disk 1, (see Knowledge base article 301229 for how to just select the Safari Application) without doing a complete system Archive and Install.
4. Create a new Test user account on the system and test how Safari responds in the Test user, see if its a user related issue and not system issue.
5. Still no Safari response? have to do an Archive and install (not preserving user and network settings)article 107120
PS. Issue may be related to actual internet connection connectivity, power cycle cable modem and router or airport if using one as well as the computer(keep unplugged for 3-5 min) and plug the cable modem in and then the router/airport then power on the computer. Do the Airport Admin utiliy (applications, utilities on HD_1)update.
- do a hard reset of airport knowledge base article 108044(Express base) and 107451 (Extreme base)
- Check with internet provider for connection issues "cannot find server" ect. -

if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

I have a new PC running windows 8 and when I registered my new account with I Tunes only the recent music that I purchased off I Tunes populated in my music library. The other material that I imported into my library from CD is missing. I am missing several hundred recordings and want to know if it is possible to get them back without having to go back to my old PC and manually make out a missing catalogue of music and re-importing back into my new PCÉ
Your media is only where you put it.
Installing iTunes and signing into your iTunes account does not cause media to magically appear.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer or the backup of the old computer to the new computer.
FYI, there is nothing to import and if you are smart and want to avoid duplicates you will NOT import anything. -
Since I updated or auto updated to Firefox 5.0.1 I get a windows error, can not find when I try to open Firefox from the icon.
It fixed opening Firefox, but when I click Yahoo mail or Hotmail I still get a error message. I only seen a Yahoo Messenger in file folder, which I changed like I did for Firefox with no results. Thanks for your help.

Firefox says it can not find the server (Windows Internet Exployer works fine
When I try to connect to Firefox,I get the message can not find server.(All my hardwired computers,to Dsl).When we try Windows Internet Exployer it works fine.That is what I am using to send this message.

When you say it works okay on new browser do you mean IE or do you mean if you reinstall Firefox. As far as I know it is the Firefox updates that get are mostly affected. What Firewall do you have.

I still do not find any option for windows when I restart my mac when pressing the option key. It used to go to windows when I pressed the option key during a restart but since I have downloaded Lion, it always go to mac. I do not want to make a permanent switch. ANy suggestions on how to get back to using the option key?
You probably need to reinstall your Windows machine.
I'm not certain, but I have a feeling the install of Lion wipes it out, going by the number of threads started along similar lines since Lion's release. -
I can not open itunes on my computer. It started when an upgrade appeared. Now I get a message that states This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I need to do the download and install the latest version of iTunes from start working with the iPod nano. I have a Laptop; Toshiba with Windows 7. The Laptop it's 2 years old and have space for the fill. I try to download the iTunes 10.5.2 more them 6 times, when get to the 99% 1 sec. reminding time it stop and don't do nothing more. I tried change the filter level to "Medium", them go to www.apple.com/iTunes/download and Run it again. The same problem shows up. I don't know if I'm doing this steps correct. Till now never connected the iPod nano to the Laptop. Why shell I do? Have it ON or OFF? And why can't I end the download?

If you did not notice already I was trying to open a old Lord of the Rings:The Fellowship of the Ring program. I trust this program fully and I made sure there is no virus on it and about the spyware I am pretty sure Warner Bros would make sure there is no spyware. I am using the latest Mozilla Firefox. I am using a Windows 8 computer and I have not had the chance to see if it is compatible because of this box. This is not a compatibility error. I have a fully functioning internet. It is probably one of the highest speed of DSL in the nation. I have a pretty good antivirus it is free but it is very accurate for being a free antivirus. This is the first time using this format so I do not know if I can edit and/or update or not. If I can I will.Unfortunately, as malware gets more serious and browser security tightens down, playing SWFs from the local filesystem in the browser isn't really going to be feasible. This is one of those features where if someone had proposed it in 2015, we would have just laughed and said "no way would we ever do this". It's becoming infeasible in more and more browsers, and we'll probably just disable it once the majority of people have moved off of the remaining browsers that support it.
So, you have two reliable options in 2015:
1.) The Standalone Flash Player (aka the Flash Projector), which you can find here: Adobe Flash Player - Downloads
The game may actually need the browser, but this is a good way to deal with kiosk content and simple Flash games.
2.) Run a local web server (WAMP or XAMP make this super easy on Windows) and access the content that way.
