Running "Messages" of equivalent on 10.7.5?

My MacPro can't upgrade to 10.8 but I would like to run Messages. Is there a way to do this? or other software that can also interface with text messages etc. I use ichat all the time and don't want to lose that.

This is kind of a work around that would require you to know the carrier of the person you want to text, so that you can eter the contact data correctly.
This is used using your Mail app.
Most of the larger carriers are in the list.

What can I do to respond to an "Adobe Illustrator cannot run" message?

I have a PC running Windows7 with a virtual machine running in XP Mode. I loaded my old Adobe Illustrator 9.0 on the XP side. The installation went smoothly. When I try to start Illustrator I receive a "Adobe Illustrator cannot run" message. Criptic to the point of being useless. I used Windows Explorer to pull up all the Adobe files. Nothing appears amiss. Ideas/suggestions will be welcomed.

Well folks I finally got my "can't connect to iTunes" issues fixed. Seems that there was an unauthorized change to my email address and account therefore not allowing mr to connect to iTunes.
Here is how I got it fixed.
1. Contacted iTunes store support
2. Followed their instructions and replyed with the following info:
An order number from one of my purchases
Last 4 digits of the c.c. Used for the iTunes store acct
Answer to one of my security questions
And 2 items from this list.
Birthdate
Billing address for Acct
Phone number on acct
It was after all of this that they saw that someone had made an account modification back in February when the issue began. Seems they changed my email address just slightly and that is what kept me from being able to sign in and not a password issue. This was likely due to a phishing email that came out in conjunction with iCloud asking users to change their passwords to a more secure form by adding a capital and number.
To get all of this cleared up it took about 4 days as we emailed back and forth. I also needed a seperate email address they could use to send me info. Once they determined the issues and went to get them fixed by changing the email address associated with the acct and I created a new password I was able to access iTunes with no issues and even my previously thought lost acct balance was there.

Erorr in F110 run - Message KI-188 PA01/214000 CTR

I'am getting a strange error while executing my payment run for a particular vendor . The error message is KI-188 and it states "PA01/214000 CTR belong to business area HOLD and not GEST":
The line item concerned has cost center 214400 and is mapped to business area "GEST" . no-where is the Business area "Hold" appearing.
Further i looked up OKB9 and hereto the concerned GL account/Cost element is not mapped to any cost center so a default mapping being derived is also not possible.
I fail to understand as to why the above message is appearing. the concerned payment run pertains to PMW.

The GL accounts involved are only balance sheet items i.e Vendor and Bank. The Line item booked in the vendor, the offsetting a/c or the expense has the Cost center 214400 & BA GEST defined. The BA Gest is also defined for the vendor.
To answer your second question, this payment is being done using PMW. An instruction Key is maintained which denotes that charges are to be borne by the payer. I'am not very clear on the PMW functionality and how entries are posted for bank charges against instruction key.

Firefox will neither load, uninstall or upgrade, due to a Firefox running message, when it isn't.

I have just installed the program. It won't start. I tried to uninstall; however, a message came up that it wouldn't uninstall while running. Windows xp says it is not running. The same message appeared when attempting instead to upgrade.

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.

Unknown running message about NuDAQmx Assistant

I got some problem about operate NI's USB DAQ 6009.
After I create a new VI with NuDAQ max item to get a DAQ Assistant block diagram.
I just go ahead to double-click the DAQ Assistant icon,
However, It seem suffer some unknown problem, then a messagebox illustration as follows:

Run Message Analyzer From Batch File

New to Message Analyzer trying to run it from a batch file but have not found any good examples. Can anyone please provide some help? Trying to use C:\Program Files\Microsoft Message Analyzer>messageanalyzer.exe /logmode but it just opens the GUI
I need it to run command line only and output to a file of my choice.

Page doesnt openup,firefox is already running message appears

whenever i close one session of internet browsing using firefox and try to restart another,startup page does not open,rather a message displaying firefox is already running,close previous session appears,even when nothing is running

Is it possible to run messages and icloud on OSX 10.6.8?

I've read some concerning comments related to 10.8.2 and am completely happy with 10.6.8, but would like to add the functionallity of imessage or messages and Icloud to my macbook pro with out upgrading to 10.8.2 and its associated negative issues.
Anyone have any ideas or workaround?

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.

JMS Messaging message.getBody equivalent

I've been using JMS on Glassfish for a while and only just migrated to Weblogic because a consultant suggested this to my boss. The problem is it feels like a step back. I use the method message.getBody(...) to process received message, especially message objects. Now, it turns out I can't do that with weblogic.
The method getBody() is only available in Java EE 7 and Weblogic 12c supports only Java EE 6 and some Java EE 7.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't message.getBody a JMS 2.0 feature? If so, shouldn't I be able to do this? If I'm wrong, then what can I do to rectify this problem?
Also, any word on WHEN weblogic will support Java EE 7 or should I just stick with Glassfish? Honestly, I don't want to be stressed out. If weblogic is going to be too much work to handle, I'd rather stick with Glassfish.
Any advice please?

Long running message processing

Hi,
I am receiving messages from a queue using Peek Lock. The processing of the message could take longer than 5 minutes in some cases. I have found that a queue can have a maximum message lock time of 5 minutes.
Can anyone tell me how I can extend the time a lock is placed on a message?
I am using Queue.OnMessageAsync() to receive a message.

I download Firefox 12.0 but receive no run message; how do I run the update?

I use a Dell Laptop, with Windows XP operating system. I have downloaded the updated Firefox three times, but I don't know how to install it and run it on my computer.
