Running sysprep AFTER I install a HDD into a new PC without the old PC?

Is it possible to run sysprep on a HDD that I
install into a NEW PC without having access anymore to the old one? I know you
have to run sysprep on the old PC while the HDD is plugged in and running system
and then you sysprep it with generalize but is it possible to do this
afterwards? Maybe you don't have the source/original PC....

What do you meand by "source hardware"? The HDD isn't built in the computer? sysprep relied on the Windows you installed, you should run the sysprep.exe at where the Windows is installed.

If you were using the same serial number then, yes. You are only allowed two installs and they should be on computers used by the licensee (you).
You would need to deactivate on any additional computers if this is the case.

I tried this, but no luck. I went to Previous System>Users. There is nothing inside the "Users" folder, so I hit a dead end.
I can find my new e-mails -- those that came in since I re-installed the system -- in my NEW system (which I did to see if I was correctly understanding the advice), by going to Users>Home>Library>Mail>POP account name>Inbox.
Let me add a new question: I am running PhotoShop C3. It opens OK, and I can use it, but when it opens I get this message: "One or more files for Adobe Application Support folder are missing. Please re-run the PhotoShop installer."
I don't like re-installing working programs if I can avoid it, because it always seems to lead to other issues. Any idea what files are missing, and where it/they might be in the Previous System folder?

IF YOU RESET YOUR IPOD WHILE ITS PLUGGED INTO YOUR COMPUTER IT MIGHT WORK
EX:HOOK UP IPOD NANO TO COMPUTER AND NOTHING HAPPENS
RESET IT WHILE IT IS PLUGGED IN
RECHARGE SIGN MIGHT APPEAR

Shut down your Mac.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Return Into. Can I return the old value in an update statement?

Hello - I have an update statement and I need the value of a field, prior to the update. Is it possible to use the Return Into to do this? Or do I have to have a separate select statement prior to the update statement in order to store that value in a variable?

RETURNING INTO is valid for an UPDATE, but it returns the new value, not the old value.

But the Library is not a program. I use SuperDuper, and it is smart enough to treat Finder Packages (such as the Library) as a whole bunch of files and folders, and overwrites only those that have changed. Can't CCC be set up the same way?

if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
