Runtime error affecting only Encore CS5

My CS5 Creative Suite 5 Production Studio has run fine up to yesterday, on my 64 bit PC with Windows 7 Professional.
Only Encore CS5 is affected...and only when I try to start a new Encore project. The crash does not happen if I open an existing Encore project...which opens and works as usual.
New Encore projects won't open and get the following alert, crashing Encore: 'This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more information.
I can't finish my projects and need fast help.

Hi Stan ... I can't open any new project or save it. With the 'Basic & Advanced window open I enter the name and location of the new project. Click OK and then it opens momentarily and a RunTime Error window opens and closes Encore. It says Windows is looking for a solution, but none is found. As a result I can't change preferences.
Up until I held the CTRL SHIFT ALT key upon opening, Encore would let me open past projects..just not new ones. Now I can't open any of them...new or past.
But I can open the test project that I open with holding the 3 keys down while opening.
On older projects I'm now getting a new alert "Could not create Blu-ray ntsc sd mped-2.epr. The path is not valid.' Tried 5 past projects and none opened.
Very frustrating. All my other Adobe programs open...PhotoShop, Premiere, etc. Just Encore is affected.
On another note...over the last few months I get 4 DLL alerts that it can't find them...I just close them and everything runs well...as did Encore up to a few days ago. May not be related.

Visual C++ runtime error on startup audition cs5.5 win8.1

After reinstalling Audition cs5.5, I get a visual C++ runtime error at startup. I have never had a problem before on a reinstallation. I have tried uninstall and reinstall without any success. Is their a version of Visual C++ that is needed here? Is this an incompatibility problem with Win 8.1? Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't had any luck in the FAQ section.

The only issues I've ever heard about involving this appear to have been caused by having too many versions of the run-time on a machine. I'm not entirely sure what the situation with software only running properly with the version it was intended to is, but apparently clearing out older versions (you can check this out and remove them if you want using the normal uninstall routine) has fixed this particular problem on at least one occasion. It's worth investigating, anyway.

C Runtime error when starting Encore

I get the following error when starting Encore and it automatically closes:

I have the same problem and I saw that Troubleshoot C++ guide on the Adobe site too.
(I'm having the problem with Encore CS5.1 on a Windows 8.1 machine)
But, when I go to change the "preferences file" as directed - I can't tell which file is the preferences file.
can anyone help?
To re-create the product preferences file:
Quit the Adobe application.
Rename the preferences file (for example, to [PrefFilename].old). Preferences files are often found in the \Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\Adobe\[Product]\ folder.

Runtime Error when launching Flash CS5 in Windows Vista 32bit

I installed Flash CS5 as a Trial and when i tried to launch it the error message appears on the screen:

I already tried to re-install Vista again and even tried to install flash in XP with the same unsucess result.

It would be great if we have the installation log files. However you can try these.
1.Check whether your system meets the minimum requirements.
2. Install the current Windows Service Pack and other updates.

Runtime Error, but only w/ album art

So everytime I and changing my info on a song, like Artist, album etc, i take Album Art from online and drag it into the album art box. This usually works no problem. but now when i do it after i click okay it says Runtime Error C++ something.
the thing is if I take the album art and save it on my computer then drag it from to desktop it works fine.. i dont understand it.
Itunes Version: 7.6.2.9
Ipod Classic Version: 1.1.2 (just update like a few days ago, but i dont think that has anything to do with it)

Runtime error problem - Premiere Pro CS5

Just ran into a problem when trying to export a timeline as an .avi file. The process goes much more slowly than usual and when the progress bar gets to 95% an error message window opens. The title of the error is: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. The message is: This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. Then, I have no choice but to close Premiere.
I foolishly downloaded and intalled some Windows 7 updates over the weekend and am assuming they might be the culprit(s). I rolled by the system to a restore point immediately before the download, but still have the problem. Any ideas on how to correct this? Of course this happens as I'm trying to export two finished videos to show to a client today. I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit.

I've also noticed that bearly all instances of this error come from bad versions of third-party components like drivers, so I recommend updating your drivers.

All other applications installed successfully. The warnings don't make sense RE: OS and display requirements. I'm using an HP Z800 / Windows 7 64 bit / Nvidia GTS 450. system worked beautifully with CS5. Now this. Sheesh. I rebooted and retried. Same result.

Once you verify that everything is working correctly, make a restorable image to an external USB drive
Hardware crashes or virus infections happen, so you should buy AND USE software to make a full backup of your hard drive to an external USB hard drive... plus, making step-by-step backups during a new install or major program addition makes it easy to go back a step if something doesn't work
This backup and then restore is, of course, only to the same computer with a new drive (or the same drive as long as you don't mind writing over everything) since doing a restore to a new computer won't work due to Windows and many programs having activation information that is keyed to your hardware (which is why Windows will force you to RE-Activate if you change very much hardware)

Image runs off of a bootable CD via Linux (the Zip you download includes a program to make the bootable CD) and it reads EVERYTHING on the drive, even the hidden registration information, so everything is restored when needed... and you may restore the image to a brand new drive in case of a crash, and not have to re-install anything
Please note that I own no part of Image, and I don't get a referral fee (that is just a plain web link) but I use the program and it has saved me a LOT of trouble when I had a hard drive die... and I was able to restore everything and not have to re-install or re-activate a single program, from Windows on up

In development system I have few lifnr and in Production system it's not so... am I getting error because of it? Is there any restriction to no. of items populated in a range? Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure

Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception

The reason for the exception is:
The SQL statement generated from the SAP Open SQL Statement violates a
restriction imposed by the database system used in R/3.

You can usually find details in the system log (SM21) and in the

How to correct the error
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
"GET_CLRD_VEN_DATA"
"(FORM)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
To prevent the exception, note the following:
The SAP Open SQL statement must be divided into several smaller units.
If the problem occurred due to the use of an excessively large table
in an IN itab construct, you can use the addition FOR ALL ENTRIES
instead.
When you use this addition, the statement is split into smaller units
according to the restrictions of the database system used.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:

Here is what the dump said and my answers are right below them.
Possible errors:
o The maximum size of an SQL statement has been exceeded.
This may not be the reason in your case. This usually happens when you use the option FOR ALL ENTRIES
o The statement contains too many input variables.
Most likely this is your issue. I think your r_lifnr is filled with all the vendors in your system and filled as single values. In that case you may be exceeding a limit set on the system. Instead of trying to remove this setting, what I would suggest is to do the following.
Define a select-option for LIFNR on your selection screen. This way users can have the flexibility of specifying certain vendors. If they don't enter anything, it is still ok. Don't fill it with single values.
Use this select-option in your select statement. After the select statement, do a delete from itab where the vendors are not in your r_lifnr as below.
DELETE t_bsak_tmp WHERE NOT lifnr IN r_lifnr.
Also, avoid using client. You don't need that unless you really want to select from a different client other than your logon client. Your select statement is using logon client anyway, so you don't need to specify that.
o The space needed for the input data exceeds the available memory.
If the above changes are made and the problem is still there, then this is the next thing to look at.

Runtime error when burning blu ray disc

I am attempting to burn a 1080i/29.97 blu ray disc and when it gets to something like 99% finished, i get a runtime error, and then
encore crashes. Could it be there there is not enough space on the disc? The video and audio combine to somthing like 23.5 GB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Also, running encore 4.0.

Encore CS5 Help Fails

Installed Production Premium CS5 on Mac without error. Using Encore CS5 appears to function correctly except for using Help (F1) function which generates an error message that says AIR is damaged. I have reinstalled Encore without any error messages. I am unclear why AIR is not functioning correctly . Thanks

Encore CS5 Runtime Error & crashes - HELP!

I have installed Encore CS5 with Premiere Pro CS5 and used it to successfully burn a DVD. Today however, when I complete the New Project tab with the name & location/project settings and click OK, there is a pause of about 3 seconds and then a pop up box:

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in am unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I have looked through the forums etc and the only possible solution was to turn off DLA, but i cannot see how to do this in Windows 7.
If anyone can help I would be most greatful, I don't see why I was able to burn a DVD without this problem last time.

I know this is an old thread, but I've been getting this recently and managed to find a solution.
Just for future reference this what I did, though not sure exactly which fixed it!..
I uninstalled Encore CS5
I also uninstalled some software related to the LG Bluray writer I had installed:
Cyberlink Power2Go
Cyberlink PowerStarter
Cyberlink LabelPrint
Cyberlink PowerProducer.
2 other programs I uninstalled: (less likely to cause a problem, but I was not using them)
Google Earth
ArcScan stitch-delux
Reboot
Use CCleaner to clean registry.
Disconnect internet
Disable Mcafee virus scan
Reinstall Encore CS5... then it all seemed to work ok, could create new projects etc.
My PC is running Windows 7 32bit. The LG writer is a BH10LS30

CS5 Runtime Error in Windows 7

Hey everyone,
I tried searching for this problem but couldn't find a good answer, so i joined in hopes someone could help me.
I have Windows 7 Premium, and I've been using Photoshop CS5 for a while now with now problems. Now when I start it up, i get an error message after the splash screen that says: "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occured. Photoshop will now exit."
Then another message that says:
"Runtime Error!
Program: C:\... (cut off)
THis Application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information".
Then it closes. The only thing i've done recently was update my bios. To try and fix the problem, I updated directx, deleted my prefs, downloaded the new c++ redistribuable, uninstalled/reinstalled photoshop twice and still nothing.
Please help me out or point me in the right direction. Thanks!!!

Is there any obvious pattern to this crash? Does it occur while performing any specific edit or operation? I know you mentioned it was random, but have you seen it crash while sitting idle, or does it only happen in multitrack?

Runtime error CS5.1

We are getting this message on both computors we use when we try to create a new file in encore CS5.1. Old files can be reused. runtime error Program :C:\PR... program has asked runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
