Runtime error..any ideas??

Dear All,
When i try to run javac or jar executable on windows 2000,
i get the following error:
Error opening registry key 'Software\IBM\Java2 Runtime Environment'
Any ideas??
Also, i am making use of the javac in the IBM websphere 5.0 runtime library to execute a stand-alone program

Since you're using am IBM product and the Registry key is an IBM-specific key, it would probably be beneficial to pursue the investigation at the IBM website.

Looks like the issue is related to the system that is referencing the ERP System. Check if the connection tests of the system is passing.
Verify the hostname and ports of the R3 System. Also check the system referencing the Netweaver Application Server.
Also check if SSO is working fine.

I'm having a very similar problem.
I'm based in the U.K. and am trying to publish an iBook through the iTunes bookstore. I have made my book in iBooks author 2.0. My iTunes is up to date.
When I try and publish the iBook I have passed and ticked the Pre Publish Check; and the Create Account, but when I try and download iTunes Producer through iTunes Connect I'm told "Your Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Content."
When I try and re-set my iTunes Store account I'm told "The iTunes Store Account has already applied to distribute content on the iBookstore." Of course it has I just did that.
If I try and sign in to iTunes Connect through the Publishing pane I'm told "Your ID or Password was entered incorrectly." Even though I've just used it to sign into iTunes (and here), so my password and Apple ID work fine elsewhere.
Is my access to the iTunes Connect being delayed while my submission is processed, i.e. the processing of my tax and account details? Or am I stuck in a loop?
If this is still processing (I started this 20 hours ago) I assume that I have to submit the book itself when I can download iTunes Producer at a later date, as I haven't submitted the book yet?
I emailed the problem to iTunes Store and was refered to [email protected], only for them to say they don't read or reply to emails sent to that address??????
I'm not sure which part of the process I've reached - if any. I feel I'm in limbo. I have an iBook ready to go - but where is Apple?

Have you tried to export different images as a test to see if it is related to the one you are getting the error on? Also try to export to a different folder other then the Desktop, again to see if the problem is connected to that folder.
Another thing to do is run the Aperture Library First Aid on the library. Hold the option and command keys down while you start Aperture. First run the Permission Repair and see if that helps. If not quit Aperture and restart and run the Library Repair and try.
Post back if you still have problems

i keep getting this error everytime i sync my ipod touch 3g to my computer. i have windows vista and i keep turning the ipod on/off, let it charge fully and used different usb ports. idk what else to do. any ideas?

Yep, i did reinstall iTunes (I don't have any other Apple software) and I keep everything (except BIOS) updated religiously. It didn't help.
To add to my previous post - when I was able to connect to iTunes that one time, iTunes started downloading 750 Mb update. About 20% into download, iPod disconnected and went into the same old spiral of death with 0xE8000068 error in iTunes. I kept it connected and tried to reconnect again, without success. I was afraid to close iTunes, so I waited until iTunes downloaded all of 750Mb, and voila - by morning, iPod was restored.. Albeit a little weird, it wasn't restored to factory settings, it just managed to boot correctly and now works. It seems to be missing some files (e.g. iTuneU won't show any subscriptions, but I can still listen and watch the lectures from iTunesU through "Music"->"iTunesU" menu).
So far so good. I'll just restore it when I listen through my 6Gb of lectures and podcasts - I'm in Hawaii on vacation now, using hotel's WiFi and I don't know how kindly the hosts will look upon 6Gb download within a day, maybe they pay per gigabyte here. Besides I ain't fixing what works.

Another -8 error, any ideas?

My iChat has been working flawlessly for as long as i can recall until Sunday after I ran software update which included AE updates. I have a X-Modem plugged into AE basestation serving my MBP. When I try to connect with video it fails and gives the -8 error in log, it had never failed to connect prior to Sunday.
My firewall is off and I can also connect to the appleu3 test account, the bizarre thing is after 2 days of not working it suddenly started working for a few hours now it fails again (I hadn't changed anything prior to it working)
Any ideas what the issue may be?

Running freshclam error - any ideas?

I get this error when trying to run freshclam, I have corrected the permissions as suggested in other posts.
ERROR: Can't open /var/log/freshclam.log in append mode (check permissions!).
ERROR: Problem with internal logger.

Ahh. So you are running freshclam manually then. Now that explains everything.
1. freshclam only updates ClamAV's virus database, not the application itself.
2. freshclam is run automatically based on the update settings in Server Admin (once a day is enough)
3. to run freshclam manually (which is pointless) you need to become user clamav first, this is why you got permission errors.
BuildSmart will update your system to the latest ClamAV version (and lots more). However, you seem to be very unexperienced with unix (no offense meant) and ClamAV is only x.xx.1 version behind, so I would leave things as they are for now.

<servlet-class>SessionServlet</servlet-class>Your servlet class MUST have a package. Specify a package for the servlet class, recompile it and place it with the proper directory structure corresponding to the package under WEb-INF/classes for your web application. Then specify the <servlet-class> tag with the fully qualified servlet class name.
It should solve your problem.

Iphone - every time i click on the map it goes fuzzy and crashes. i have to restore on itunes after (in which i get errors) any ideas?

Every time it does something to do with the CPU such as maps (which takes a lot of it i imagine) it'll then freeze, crash and the screen literally goes fuzzy like the exorcist.
Once this happens I have to restore the safe mode restore the iphone 4, and then i get a bunch of errors (14) etc... in itunes.
Any ideas on how to solve this?

Jam pack content error, any ideas?

Just did a re-install of Logic Studio, and all of the supplied content. When I make a new software instrument track and select a jam pack preset sound from the library browser, it loads the sound just fine, but when I try to select another sound it says "File not found / result code =-43." If I create a new software instrument track, and repeat the process, the same error code comes up. Any idea why it would let me load just a single sound, then give me the error message when I try to select another?

I don't usually use Jam Packs so today was the first time I've checked to see if they are there. Nope. I only have Jam Pack 1 showing up in my library. I checked GarageBand and it sees all 5, so something is wrong with Logic Studio not seeing them.
I did a full upgrade from Logic 7 and have never had Jam Packs before (so they are not left over from a previous install). When I did the upgrade, all options were available and I just did a full install, not a custom one. It said it completed successfully.
Any ideas on how I can get Logic Studio to see the Jam Packs?

Runtime error..any ideas??
