i have already removed and reinstalled itunes and still get the error

I went to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925 and did a complete removal and reinstallation of iTunes. You MUST follow the directions here exactly...it's more than just iTunes that must be removed, and it MUST be done in the order in which the support article says. I followed the exact instructions, and iTunes is back on my machine (no more C runtime error) and you do NOT lose your music...it's all in my library, as it was before.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:

The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

You can solve your runtime error code by the using of these given steps:
First of all you can reboot your system
Restore your system, by the following steps:
Click start menu and then go to Run.
Type in the box regsvr32 c: windowssystem32msdatgrd.ocx and then click on the OK.
Now you can reboot your system in safe mode.
If you cannot find the specific files on your system, then you can download it form the internet and locate it to the accurate place.
Update your outdated device driver.
Replace faulty or failure hard drive

I've been having the same exact problem this morning, and from the looks of it a lot of other people are posting about this issue, so I don't know if it's maybe something wrong with the download but I'm just relieved that it seems to be that instead of a corruption issue with my windows installation. I am also told that Apple Mobile Device Failed to Start. Additional messages suggest the error is in itunes.exe and ituneshelper.exe. I also get Error 7 (Windows error 1114).
