Runtime error - R6034 (Help unable to open Itunes)
Hi All,
After upgrade of Itunes I get the following error when trying to open Itunes
Runtime error
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the c runtime incorrectly
Any ideas on what to do?

Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

Whilst updating itunes software to latest version I get runtime error R6034 and cannot get into itunes. Is there a fix for this problem?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I was invited this morning by Itunes to upgrade to the last version. the installation went wrong. needed to stop and to reinstall with the latest version downloaded from itunes.com.

Runtime Error R6034 blocking my access to Itunes any ideas on how to fix it

I got a notice to update my Itunes yesterday and after confiriming the dowload I got an error as listed above. I could not access my Itunes and the error keeps showing when I restart my pc. So far I have uninstalled all Apple programmes and tried to relaod without success. itunes will go through all the steps of reloading but then freeze at the point of launching the programme. Any ideas please?The Control page wants to run the following add-on" Control name is not available" from not available.

I've recently replaced my iphone 5 and I couldn't restore my data into my new phone, as it asked me to do the software upgrade on itunes in my computer. So, I did the itunes upgrade, which is now causing the Runtime error R6034. I wonder if I would loose my data (i.e., can't restore the data into my new phone), if I follow the uninstalling & re-installing steps. Uninstalling & Re-installing iTunes will not delete your iTunes Library Data.
Do the following:
Uninstall from Windows the following four programs: iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support. You do this from an applet in Control Panel called Programs & Features (in Windows 8, 7, or Vista) or Add or Remove Programs (in Windows XP).
Download the latest version of iTunes from Apple and note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
Run the iTunes installation as an administrator, just Right click iTunes installer and Run as Administrator. -
