Runtime error r6034 when installing the latest itunes version with XP
I was invited this morning by Itunes to upgrade to the last version. the installation went wrong. needed to stop and to reinstall with the latest version downloaded from itunes.com.
no way I can install it, I have tried many times, always the same message R6034 runtime errorGo to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
See also HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP or HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, some users may need to follow the process recommended here which includes some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

I am getting runtime error R6034 when trying to open iTunes I have followed all instructions for reinstalling iTunes but it still occurs can any help please?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I'm attempting to reinstall ITunes because of a runtime error (R6034) when I start it. At end of install it says 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. I verified that I have admin privileges. Can anyone help?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

How do I fix this !!! Please...iTunes.exe - Bad Image ...iTunes c:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Apple Apple Application Support\CoreADI.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error .....
Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7,now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP,head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

Error - 50 when trying to open iTunes. Have tried uninstalling all 6 components and reinstalling but no joy Happened after an upgrade. Can anyone help?
By way of experiment, let's try launching iTunes as an administrator.
In Computer, open Local Disk C: or whichever drive you have your program files installed on.
If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, open the "Program files" folder.
If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, open the "Program files (x86)" folder.
Open the "iTunes" folder.
Right-click on the iTunes.exe file and select "run as administrator".
Does it launch without the -50 now? -
I'm recieving and error (-50) when trying to open itunes 10.5 beta. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!!!
As a registered developer which should be the only way you have access to the iTunes and iOS BETA, you have access to direct communication with the appropriate Apple personnel and/or access to the Apple forums for registered developers.

I'm getting a error R6034 when trying to load iTunes.
when trying to open iTunes i get a error code that reads R6034. What do i do to fix this problem ?
First try updating to iTunes 11.1.5.5, using an installer downloaded from the Apple website:

Please Help - Error message when trying to open itunes
Hi
Can someone help pls? I was in the middle of upgrading my version of itunes and my computer crashed. Now when I try to open itunes I get an error message as follows: 'iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience'.
I don't know what to do! I am worried I have lost all of my music!?hiya!
'Quick time failed to initialize. Error # - 2095. Please make sure QuickTime is properly installed on this computer'.
okay, let's try a careful standalone QT reinstall:
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
Quicktime 7.1 Standalone Installer
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

Why do I get an error message when trying to open Itunes??????
I have installed I tunes on to my computer about ten separate times now and every time I try to open it I get a message that says.
" The folder "iTunes" could not be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the "My Music" folder."
Can anyone help me out????" The folder "iTunes" could not be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the "My Music" folder."
the best place to start with that one is with the following document:
iTunes for Windows: "Disk is locked" or "iTunes folder cannot be found" when installing or opening iTunes
but if you run into the complication where My Music doesn't appear as an option in TweakUI, perhaps try the alternate procedure from the following Nigel Carpenter post:
