DB : oracle 10g
OS: Red hat Linux

Just to let you know: Oracle 10g ist out of general maintenance, you should consider ugprading to 11g.

The files are part of the normal DVD delivery.
You will need to
- create the language key RU using RSCPINST
- create the language including the substitution language in SMLT
- import the package from the DVD
- import the support package dependent parts from your installed support packages
- substitute the language
- fill your production clients

Well, the quick summary that you are not going to like: This system is pretty short on RAM and processor power, your graphics driver is outdated and you are using two screens with different resolutions, which eats up all graphics acceleration plus your card has only 256 MB of VRAM in the first place, which doesn't meet the requirements. Problem in the header in the main window in russian language in script

Hello,
We are using one custom script in Russian language for Contract form and print program is copy program of SAPFY06P.
The issue is, when the contract form is having more number of pages in its output, then some times Russian header text is not printing properly in the output, it prints as junk text instead of Russian language, and surprisingly it is happening only for some pages randomly.
I implemented protect and endprotect statements for the item text in the form, then also Russian text is not printing properly, rather the random printing is changing from one page to the other
In the custom program u2018ZCONPF02u2019 (copy program of u2018FY06PF02u2019), there is one perform u2018ausgabe_pos_uebu2019. In this perform, there is u2018WRITE_FORMu2019 function module with element u2018PROTECTu2019. There is no function module with element u2018ENDPROTECTu2019 in this

Planning problems with russian language during refresh application

I have problems with Planning during refresh my Application with Essbase.
I intsalled Essbase on RHEL4 and set ESSLANG=Russian_Russia.ISO-8859-5@Default also I set locale on ru_RU.iso88595
Ater that I installed Planning on Solaris 9 which uses Oracle RDBMS with NLS_CHARACTERSET=AL32UTF8 and set locale on server to ru_RU.iso88595
Now I can create dementions, members on russion language in Essbase without problems also I can create dementions,members,etc on russian language in Planning. But if I create demention or member in Planning on Russian languge and ) try refresh my Application with Essbase I give follow error

A bug in Nokia PC Suite with Russian language

I've just updated to Nokia PC Suite 6.85.12.0, and I had a problem: in the settings dialog I couldn't choose where to save files, video, etc. There were default paths, like "C:\Галерея\Музыка" ("C:\Gallery\Music files", I had Russian language switched on on my Nokia 3109c, firmware v5.50), and when I clicked the buttons on the right, just a blank dialog opened, where it wasn't possible to choose anything. I tried switching the language of my phone to English, and that helped: the dialogs began to work as they should.

Yes, the Phone Browser works as it should, the only problem is with the settings of the main PC Suite window; even completely similar settings of Nokia Music Manager works correctly.

Hyphenation not working for Russian language

Hello All,
We really shocked to see that hyphenation not working for Russian language, anyone faced this issue? Please let us know how to rectify this issue since we need to complete one of the project with Russian language.

@Kasyan: Thanks for the response, I'm using 5.5 and facing this issue while select the language 'Russian' no where found the hyphens and in most of the places looks loose line due to missing of hyphens.

Run Linguistics Studio v1.23.
Import als-ru.zip from ALS_esp53_Russian_1_1_all with parameters: Lemmatize by document expansion, Noun + Adjective + Verb (checked), Deploy changes to ESP atfer import (checked).

The cause of this issue is that the Russian lemmatization dictionary is too large for ESP to actually handle and deploy.
In your output below is the following:

We are aware of this issue, and have discussed this with our R&D team. There is a work around for all customers that do not customize tokenization/normalization or the content of the lemmatization dictionary in installing the ESP 5.0 dictionaries
that are shipped as compiled automata files.
To work around this issue, the ALS package, ALS_esp53_Russian_1_1_all, was created and released. However, this workaround will not allow you to edit the contents of the lemmatization dictionary. The workaround steps are as follows:
1. Uncheck all forms of speech for lemmatization.
2. Let Linguistics Studio deploy the dictionaries.
3. Note the error indicating the dictionaries were not properly applied.
4. Clicked the project in Linguistics Studio again and clicked the "deploy to ESP". This will run through the deployment, placed the spellcheck and antiphrase dictionaries on the ESP system.
5. Manually copy the lemmatization .aut files to the %FASTSEARCH$\resources\dictionaries\lemmatization\ directory.
These steps will allow you to edit all of the dictionaries, except for the lemmatization dictionaries.
We realize this is an important issue. Unfortunately, the workaround is the only way to address this issue. When considering the options around fixing the issue, it was found that this would entail a complete re-working the automaton compilation
process, and could introduce a high risk of regressions for all search environments.

The only way I know is that you need a physical address and credit card of an English speaking country.

Problem in address printing in sap script in Russian language

I am trying to get a PO output using a sap script. The problem is that the vendor address in not coming in the required Russian language. The language in PO is Russian and the logon langauge is also Russian.
The script uses ADDRESS ENDADDRESS statement to print the address in form. This statement
uses the function module ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM to print the address. The address can be obtained in the required language from this function module but I want the address in Russian language uses the ADDRESS ENDADDRESS statement.
Please let me know if any body has faced this kind of problem earlier.

Is it depend on encoding on page or default UIX encoding or something else?

The encoding used is based on the encodings the browser and HTTP server support. Parameters in non-English should work fine, so it seems like something odd is going on. To try to debug this, let me ask you some questions:
1) What HTTP server and servlet engine are you using?
2) What browser, version, and client OS are you using?
3) In your event handler, can you print the value of
context.getPageDecoder().getRequestCharacterEncoding()and report back here what it says?
4) In your handler can you also report back the value of
context.getServletRequest().getParameter("attrValue")? (Note that you should not pull directly from the request in general -- this is just to aid debugging the problem.)
With these answers I will hopefully able to be more helpful.

Russian Language support for the Zen Mic

Can we get a russian language support in the next firmware update?
I have many songs, that I can not see the name of, because the Zen does not support Russian/Cyrillic alphabet.

it doesn't support Russian ID3 tags on my Zen Xtra or within updated software - Creative MediaSource 2.03.29 or Nomad Explorer 3.0.0. If anybody knows how to fix it - please let me know!
