RV180W Routing Web traffic to Router Interface
Initially we had a rv110w in place and had problems with the port forwarding stopping a few times a day so we replaced with with a RV180W. Now port forwarding appears to be staying up, however I have a new problem. We host a web page, for some reason when an internal user points the url to the web page it resolves to the web interface of the Router and not the expected web page. If you are outside of the network it resolves to the correct web page. I am not sure why this is happening as it didn't happen with the RV110W or the PIX before that.
Thanks
Jeremy
Hi Jeremy, thank you for using our forum, my name is Johnnatan I am part of the Small business Support community. I just want to say thank you for your contribution that will be really helpful for all forum users.
I think there is another way to resolve this issue, creating a second forward rule from the LAN to the destiny, I will share with you a document of forwarding steps, you can see it bellow:

Is there any way to log web traffic information of the users with RV082 router ?
Dear all,
I just bought a RV082 router. I can't find any way for logging the web traffic of the users.
Can it be done with the router ?
Thanks
FabioHello,
If I am not mistaking the best you can do is to send syslog traffic to a server or locally (to a server being preferred) .
But you are going to see stuff like this:
30>Aug 3 22:12:40 2005 gw RGFW-OUT: ACCEPT (TCP 192.168.1.111:2101->212.5.219.46:80 on ppp0) [0,0]
<30>Aug 3 22:12:40 2005 gw RGFW-OUT: ACCEPT (TCP 192.168.1.111:2102->81.0.235.240:80 on ppp0) [0,0]
<30>Aug 3 22:12:40 2005 gw RGFW-OUT: ACCEPT (TCP 192.168.1.111:2103->81.0.235.251:80 on ppp0) [0,0]
<30>Aug 3 22:12:41 2005 gw RGFW-OUT: ACCEPT (TCP 192.168.1.111:2104->212.5.219.46:80 on ppp0) [0,0]
<30>Aug 3 22:12:41 2005 gw RGFW-OUT: ACCEPT (TCP 192.168.1.111:2105->81.0.235.250:80 on ppp0) [0,0]
<30>Aug 3 22:12:41 2005 gw RGFW-OUT: ACCEPT (TCP 192.168.1.111:2106->212.5.219.46:80 on ppp0) [0,0]
You will need an external device to make this happen, Having a proxy server such as Squid would do it for you and not just that but will optimize the newtork :)

Redirect web traffic on SRP527W router
Hello,
Is it possible to redirect all web traffic to a Symantec web filtering address on a particular listening port.
I had a look at the Srp527w Router and can't find where this could be done.
Thanks,
Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPad AppCan anyone recommend a Small business type router that does provide web proxy functionality on the device.
Trying to find something that can provide this without the need to go an ASA firewall or equivalent.
Thanks.

Routing traffice using 2 interfaces
my question is whats the best solution for routing internet traffic out one interface and production, management traffic out another interface. using a cisco ISR 2900
You can use PBR.
Here are 2 documents with examples:

vikas kumarHI,
You can police the traffic in ingress/egress but the support may depend of your hardware. Please refer to the following link for more information:

I'm configuring our ASA and we have two AT&T circuits which we're only using one with our current Juniper firewall. I know the ASA doesn't support policy based routing so I'm wondering if the following hypothetical "config" is possible.
External Interfaces:
OUT_01 - 12.133.X.X
OUT_02 - 201.61.X.X
I would route all internal traffic to go out through OUT_01.
We have over 5 site-to-site VPN and 30 external facing servers. Could I use OUT_2 to configure all the inbound connections for the VPN and NAT rules?You can configure the ASA to allow asynchronous routing, as you are describing, by configuring TCP bypass.
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa82/configuration/guide/config/conns_tcpstatebypass.html
What this will do is you will still need to send traffic out one interface but the ASA will accept return traffic on either of the outside interfaces. Configuring this can be a security risk as the ASA will ignor the state table.
Or you could wait until ASA version 9.4 which will have support for PBR. Ofcourse this is the first version that will support it, so don't be suprised if it has a few bugs.

Hello
I am wondering if it is possible to configure one ACE context to support both routed and bridge interface?
I would like to have a bridge-mode context but in the same time I would like to have a separated OOB interface for management.
If it is possible how they could interact to each other?
Thank you in advance for any answer

Hello
We've just tried to configure bridged and routed interfaces at the same time in the lab and we've had a problem.
When we added the def gw for the bridged config we noticed that we had an issue with the traffic src by the rservers in the routed config.
When we deleted the new def gw, the problem disappeared.
I am attaching the lab config.
When we added to it the following line
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.1.163
reals B1-B10 could not communicate to the outside world.
Do you know why it does not worked and what could we do to fix it ?
Thank you in advance.

Router Interface (7304 NSE100) QoS Input Scheduling
Guys,
I had great feedback on the Switch input scheduling question last week. Many thx to all online (and my colleagues at work) :)
If you can apply input scheduling on a switch port, ie the SP or default queues, can you apply input scheduling on a router interface?
switch
input-q----------PFC----------output-q
router
input-int---------cef-or-rp----------output-int
At the moment, most QoS for a router is done (in my expreience) on outbound scheduling, ie setting a CBWFQ bandwidth or priority and setting this policy-map outbound on the router egress interface
Should we be doing it inbound for traffic coming into a router interface before the packet gets cef switched (or sent to the RP for process or fast switching)?
So if two packets come into the router interface at the same time, based on a DSCP value, we should schedule a voice packet to be processed by CEF switching (or the RP) before an email packet?
I am just applying the switch methodology that I learned about last week to a router device. I know all routers have different archetectures, so will probably be spefific to a platform. I am using NSE100s (PXF based) on a 7304 platform.
Kindest regards,
KenJust to add i picked this from some site

I press reset and now i can't get into router interface?
Yestoday i was just experimenting with my router. I set up a restriction for 12am to 12:05am to see if it will block my sister's internet just for the fun.
However it did not work.
Today my internet was slow because of my sister's laptop. Probably downloading some soft of content. I decide to press the reset button therefore her connection would be taken off.
However now i want to fix that. I understand how to get into my router's interface:
-By going to my computer and then typing 192.168.1.1 on top...
-Yestoday when i did that it worked. I was able to get into router interface, but now i can't. It gives me "cannot find server"
I don't understand why i can't get into my router's set up~
Can this be fixed?it might be that the reaosn why you're not accessing up the router's set-up page is because the computer connected to it is not getting a valid IP adress already...
to check this...
go to START, then RUN
type in cmd
in the command line, type in ipconfig
take note of your IP adress... that's the computer IP adress..
Now, take note of your default gateway... that is equivalent to your router's IP adress...
in the same window, type in (ping default gateway #) ping 192.168.1.1 . if it replies, then your router's interface should be able to open up
launch internet explorer, then type in http://192.168.1.1

Network Routings not imported through "Bill and Routing Interface" program
Hi,
I wanted to import Network routing to Shop Floor Manager hence I am using bom_op_routings_interface and then I am running "Bill and Routing Interface" program. But import program is errored with "You do not have access to items of type standard, so you may not be able to insert, update or delete routings ot this item type".
Highly appreciate if any one clarify why this error is issued by Import program.
Thanks in advance.

Extending VLANs across routed interfaces
Hello;
I'm trying to create a L3 core network. The core equipment will be Cisco 3750 enhanced. My idea is make each link between core 3750 a routed interface, with /30 IP addresses.
The problem is the customer needs some VLANs extended across the full enterprise. Is there any way to encapsulate the VLAN inside routed interface?
Thanks in advance.I realize this thread is 5+ years old, but I feel like commenting anyway.
If you want to encapsulate the vlan across that link, you won't be able to use routed interfaces. You will need to use a layer 2 trunk(dot1q). Therefore, I wouldn't bother with the /30 addresses unless you want to monitor that specific link by IP. In that case, use a special VLAN just for those two interfaces and put your /30 addresses on the vlan interfaces.
If you want fast fail over on a layer 2 link, well then, use Rapid STP. The goal should be to get rid of those flat VLANs that span the core and switch to your original plan of routed interfaces using EIGRP or OSPF. -
All of the QOS configuration guidance I've seen in the documentation on this website refers to 6500 switched interfaces (switchport mode access/trunk).
Is the QOS configuration different on a 6500 routed interface. For instance on an interface between two core switches in a routed (Layer 3) core?
I have already reviewed all of the IOS-related 6500 Cisco documents I could find, and the latest QOS SRND with no luck finding info on this issue.
Thanks
