RVS4000 Multiple Port Configuration

I am trying to configure the router to use Dameware Ports 6129 & 6130 on multiple machines.  Is there a way to add multiple computer IP addresses in the single port forwarding or port range forwarding sections?  Any assistance will be greated appreciated.

Other than doing a different external port to the same internal ports, and performing port forwarding that way, the only option you have is to do a trigger port and that way anything needing to access your network with those ports are in.  It don't let the firewall block them if they are on a trigger. I would try that and see how it goes.

  • Multiple ports on single node cannot communicate

    I am a Sr. Tech Architect from SBC that it evaluating your product for utilization in our enterprise online order application in combination with the Solarmetric Kodo product.
    I was able to install and utilize your application and line command, sample applications no problem on a single jvm utilizing multiple ports and all the members were being recognized no problem. Suddenly, they are no longer being picked up. I am using the packaged configuration xml files as is, just running multiple dos windows on a Win 2k box and launching the line command application. The only other development work I have been doing on the box is test deploys to Apache of the product along with the integration of the Kodo product in a WSAD 5.1 environment, however, I have both those applications shut down and rebooted the machine with no success. I tried running the multicast test just for kicks and got no response back. Scratching my head as to what my be the problem all of a sudden.
    Thanks,
    Scott

    Scott,
    Did you, by any chance, install and enable "Microsoft Loopback Adapter"? If so, you'd need to disable it. If not, could you please e-mail me the command line and some output of the multicast test.
    Thanks,

  • Need to setup monitoring aon multiple ports for IDS

    I have a cisco 3845. I need to need to setup monitoring aon multiple ports for IDS on 2 ports. How do I do this.
    Also,
    Is there a way to make ports on the switch portion act like hubs.
    Thanks

    I assume that you are referring to the Ethernet Switch Module in the 3845. If so it should support SPAN. Here is a SPAN configurations guide:

  • Static unicast MAC entry in multiple ports Cat6500VSS

    Hello, I'm trying to configure a static mapping of a MAC address in two different ports on a Catalyst 6500 switch.
    My situation is: I've configured a Cluster of Firewalls which exposes a unicast MAC addres for the cluster virtual interface. The situation is that the MAC address is a unicast one, and when the swith sees the MAC from multiple ports, it gets confused and starts doing flooding in all the VLAN.
    The configuration I'm trying to do is for a McAfee Firewall conected to 2 Catalyst 6500 in VSS mode. Here is the article of the firewall vendor with the recommended configuration: https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB61307&actp=null&viewlocale=en_US&showDraft=false&platinum_status=false&locale=es_ES
    What i want to do is to configure unicast mirrored mode, and in that mode, I have to run this command on Catalyst 6500 and I can't:
    mac-address-table static 000e.a210.440a GigabitEthernet 1/1/3 GigabitEthernet 2/1/3
    Note that the mac address is a unicast one
    How can I do That? Any help will be appreciated

    Hello,
    There is a fundamental architecture difference between the 2 platforms regarding the internal forwarding of frames. With the 3550 the notification packet is sent after a lookup and the results index can contain more than one entry where as with other architectures the results are limited to a single entry. Basically that is why you can configure an ARP entry to point to different ports on the 3550 versus other platforms.
    Hope that helps.

  • Can imapd listen on multiple ports?

    For historical reasons, we've got some multiplexors that expect to make the back-end imap connecto to port 993, and some others that want to talk to 994. Is it possible to configure imapd to listen on multiple ports?
    Thanks!

    I just realized this would be doable if the MMP would do STARTTLS to the back-end (since then I could enable STARTTLS on the default port and keep SSL on connect on the other port).
    If only.....

  • Multiple ports in scan listener

    We have a rac two node on exa database machine with scan listener running from port 1525.
    version 11.2.0.4
    we want to add another port to scan-listener. will it have any adverse affect on existing infrastructure.

    Hi user13427480 -
    The support for the Grid Infrastructure and SCAN, including setting up multiple ports for the SCAN listener, is the same on Exadata as any other Linux x86-64 environment. I have not actually configured this and tested it personally on Exadata, but there shouldn't be anything about the Exadata infrastructure that would affect it. As with any change you should test and validate it in your non-prod environment before deploying anything into production.
    Thanks,
    Kasey

  • WRT160N - does it support multiple vLan configurations?

    I'm trying to find more detailed tech. specifications of this thing (WRT160N), but unfortunatelly I get only some basic marketing messages... I need to understand if this router supports vLAN configuration, as I'm thinking to have IPtv and internet on the same. My provider does integrates the IPtv into separate vLAN, but their HW is not too good in other perspectives... So I'm thinking about linksys.
     So does it support multiple vLAN configuration (i.e. dedication of separate vLAN to exact port)?

    No. VLANs are not supported in Linksys devices. You'll have to look at Cisco Small Business or better.

  • Extended acl - multiple ports on same acl line

    hello
    i'm working on a (long) acl and have started looking at putting multiple ports on the same line
    e.g.
    instead of:
    ip access-list extended test3
    permit tcp any host 10.10.10.1 eq 80
    permit tcp any host 10.10.10.1 eq 443
    i'd use:
    ip access-list extended test3
    permit tcp any host 10.10.10.1 eq 80 443
    its shortening the acl considerably but the question is:
    does this method reduce the TCAM resources required (compared to writing the acl in long hand)?
    what are the maximum number of ports that can be included on the same line - is it platform/ios dependant?
    thanks
    andy

    Hello
    No. I went ahead with the acl with multiple ports in each ACE and it worked fine. It was deployed on an old WS-C3750G-24PS-E and worked pretty well. When I checked the tcam on the switch I got the following output:
    Cisco3750#show platform tcam utilization
    CAM Utilization for ASIC# 0                      Max            Used
                                                             Masks/Values    Masks/values
    IPv4 security aces:                          1024/1024         33/33
    Note: Allocation of TCAM entries per feature uses
    a complex algorithm. The above information is meant
    to provide an abstract view of the current TCAM utilization
    As there were other ACLs on the switch it was difficult to gauge if the multiple ports per ACE approach to ACLs actually saved any TCAM resources. If you find anything out post back - I'd be interested to hear.
    thanks
    Andy

  • Scan multiple ports on multiple computers

    Hey guys,
    I wrote the following batch script to use along with portqry tool which is availabe from microsoft download center.
    The tool can scan multiple ports on a single computer, but it is not capable of scanning multiple ports on multiple computers in one attempt. Also it gives a big output which is a bit tough if you are trying to prepare a report.
    Here is the batch file which takes input from server.txt where all the computer names present and scans for the below ports on each computer and gives you output in a beautiful way.

  • ISE 1.2 and ACL's with multiple ports

    When creating a DACL for my groups I used the Syntax " permit tcp any 192.168.20.0 0.0.0.255 eq 22 443" for one of my acl's inside the DACL and the syntax check validated it. When I pushed it to my groups it also worked but I have heard that this type of multiple port ACL in ISE is not supported. Does anyone know if this is accurate?

    Thanks for the response but it's wrong. Cisco supports stacked ports in 1.2 for wired users. They carried over 1.1documentation to 1.2 and never updated it. We have it in writing from Cisco tac.

  • Deleted CDMA USB Modem from Port Configurations... Can't get it back!

    A while back, I was trying out a wireless USB CDMA modem. I didn't really like it and was mainly just using it for testing purposes, and after I was done with it I deleted the port configuration out of my Network Config, thinking A) I'd never need it again and B) It would repopulate or at least be able to be recreated if I wanted to use it again.
    Well, this weekend I'm out of town in an area where I don't have an internet connection regularly and need the ability to connect without relying on WIFI. So I reactivated the USB modem and went on my way. As soon as I put the card in, though, nothing happens. Normally the card would automatically detect and even open up its own connection software in the title bar. This time, nothing. So I boot into Windows and test it out there: works fine. Detects, connects, loads webpages, everything. So it's not the card.
    I go back into OS X and see if there's anyway to manually add it. I check in System Profiler, and sure enough, under USB the card is recognized. Not in modems, though, but I can't remember if it populated there before. Anyway, I go into Network Config, try to add a port, but the only things available are the typical Ethernet, Airport, Bluetooth, etc. No USB, no CDMA modem, nothing I need.
    So what I'm thinking is, when I deleted the old CDMA modem setting in Network Port Configs, its pretty much permanently deleted it. My question is, is there any way for me to manually get it back? I really could use the benefit of this card at the moment.
    Thanks for any help,
    Bryan

    I had not heard of that brand. Out here we get a lot of stuff from China and Korea.
    After I wrote that last night, I had a closer look at my settings and the CDMA modem I have is shown in the Network Configurations panel -- yours is not, you say.
    Sorry, if I was not clear about the point concerning Bluetooth. That panel provides a list of ALL modem drivers, so I was suggesting that you had a look in there, in case there might be a suitable modem driver you could use.
    I had two of these modems (one was stolen) the first used that Null modem driver while the other used a Huawei driver that I had to work hard to make the local company find.
    I just looked at the Franklin Support pages and as you say, they do not appear to have a driver listed for Macs, only the user guide.
    As a late thought, and not wishing to sound funny at all: have you tried the other USB port? With one of the CDMA modems I had it would work perfectly in one port but in the other the computer never recognised it.

  • Can't run form from Form Builder 10g - Port configuration problem?

    Hi,
    I have installed the Database (10.2.0.1.0) and the Developer Suite (10.1.2.0.2) on two Linux machines (Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 4 Basic).
    If I enter the frmservlet-URL manually everything seems to be fine.
    In one case I enter http://127.0.0.1:8890/forms/frmservlet, in the other http://127.0.0.1:8889/forms/frmservlet; in BOTH cases I get eventually a dark square and the status bar says "Applet oracle.forms.engine.Main started".
    HOWEVER, if I create a simple form with Form Builder and click on the Button with the green traffic light ("Run Form"), the form runs only on the machine where frmservlet listens on port 8890.
    On the other machine (frmservlet configured to listen on port 8889) Firefox pops up, the URL "http://127.0.0.1:32979/6dOrpwghCqnp8PhMT7KVT533m3IaArqFbPqPBOztZXWYSsNy" gets called, and nothing else happens. The screen displays the string "ORACLE FORMS." and the status bar says "Waiting for 127.0.0.1...", and it stays like this forever.
    I assume this is a port configuration problem, but I don't have a clue where to start.
    Any suggestions how I should proceed are greatly appreciated.
    Thank you very much in advance!

    Hi Frank,
    Thank you for your reply.
    I doublechecked my configuration.
    In the dialog Edit --> Preferences --> Runtime the Application Server URL is set to "127.0.0.1:8889/forms/frmservlet".
    However, when I attempt to run the form, the URL "http://127.0.0.1:33140/W2dwbV9eXS2fPkuKlxNhCxFWdEihwDviat2uV7ycrSotqwDN" gets called.
    The screen displays the string "ORACLE FORMS." and the status bar says "Waiting for 127.0.0.1...", and that's it.
    I wonder how the port number 33140 got selected. Interestingly, this time it is a different number; last time it was port 32979. In fact, the port number seems to change each time; I tried again and now it is 33189.
    I will now try to set the port number for the frmservlet to 8890.
    I choose Edit --> Preferences --> Runtime and set the application server URL to "127.0.0.1:8890/forms/frmservlet".
    I stop the container, open /home/oracle/OraHome_1/j2ee/DevSuite/config/default-web-site.xml and change the port number to 8890:
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone='yes'?>
    <!DOCTYPE web-site PUBLIC "Oracle Application Server 10g XML Web-site" "http://xmlns.oracle.com/ias/dtds/web-site.dtd">

    <!-- not work with clustering -->
    <!-- also add cluster-island attribute as below
    <web-site host="localhost" port="0" protocol="ajp13"
    display-name="Default Oracle Application Server 10g Java WebSite" cluster-island="1" >
    -->
    <web-site port="8890" protocol="http"
    display-name="Oracle Developer Suite 10g instance of Oracle Containers for J2EE Web Site">
    <!-- Uncomment the following line when using clustering -->
         <!-- <frontend host="your_host_name" port="80" /> -->
         <!-- The default web-app for this site, bound to the root -->
         <default-web-app application="default" name="defaultWebApp" root="/j2ee" />
    <!-- Do not delete this line. -->
    <web-app application="forms" name="formsweb" root="/forms" />
    <!-- -->
    <!-- <web-app application="forms" name="formsweb" root="/forms" /> -->
    <web-app application ="reports" name="web" root="/reports" />
    <web-app application = "reports" name="demo" root="/repdemo" />
         <!-- Access Log, where requests are logged to -->
         <access-log path="../log/default-web-access.log" />
    </web-site>
    I restart the container, start Form Builder, connect to the database, and open my test form.
    When attempting to run the form, the URL "http://127.0.0.1:33437/Pl0n3ky9vmU5z37A7ScBnQhsGwq3jwuzJpgTAKWPMOYIzT8K" gets called (again a new port number, apparently picked radomly within a certain range) and nothing happens: "Waiting for 127.0.0.1...".
    However, when I enter the URL http://127.0.0.1:8890/forms/frmservlet I do (eventually, after confirming that I trust the certificate etc.) get a darc rectangle and the status message "Applet oracle.forms.engine.Main started", which tells me that my setup can't be that far off target.
    Here is the output of netstat:

    I don't see pof-config.xml is loaded at "Loaded included POF configuration....". How do I get around it so I can load multiple pof configuration files for c# client?

    Hi,
    Not sure about C# but I would suggest try removing file:// from
    <include>file://pof-config.xml</include>and keep pof-config.xml and my-pof-config.xml in the same directory.
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers,

  • ACE: a class-map with multiple ports... what about the probe/serverfarm?

    Hello Gilles,
    One question about something I was not able to find in the documentation.
    Lets say I have one class-map which includes 2 ports (in this case https and 5061).
    Can I associate this class-map to just 1 generic serverfarm and probe for both ports or I have to specify 2 serverfarms/rservers/probes?
    So, by not specifying the ports on the rserver, if a request is received on port 443 (or 5061), it is sent to the same respective port on the rserver?
    The same way is valid for the generic probe.  ACE module is able to probe both ports based on the class-map?
    Thanks and have a great day!!
    Giulio.

    Even if you use the 4710 appliance or expect the inheritance in the module software, it's worth considering if this is really what you want. If you keep multiple ports in the L3/L4 class-map you can't handle the services independently. You will have a common serverfarm for both https and 5061. If https service stops on one rserver, the ACE will place that rserver (and not that service) in out-of-operation state and it won't receive any 5061 traffic either. (You have the fail-on-all probe option but I wouldn't say it's a better choice. In that case, https traffic would be sent to the rserver even if https port is closed as long as there is at least one working service on it.) That's why I prefer a separate class-map and separate serverfarm for each service. (They can contain the same rservers, no need to duplicate.) BUT if the software supports probe port inheritance, you can benefit from it even in this scenario: serverfarm-443 and serverfarm-5061 can both use your PROBE_GENERIC_TCP.

  • How can we transport the partner profiles and Port configurations

    Hi everybody,
    How can we transport the partner profiles and Port configurations. While creating these , system will not ask for Dev class and we cant assign any Transport request number. Then How can we transport these settings?
    Your replies are really apreciable.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vijay.

    Hi,
    please have a look of the OSS note: 182172
    >>
    The partner profiles are stored in the following tables:
    Table EDPP1: General partner profile
    Table EDP12: Partner profile outbound, additional data NAST
    Table EDP13: Partner profile outbound
    Table EDP21: Partner profile inbound
    Table EDIPHONE: Connection to SAP telephony (optional)
    You can use R3TR TABU to manually set the tables into a Customizing request (as of Release 46, into a SYST-type request).
