RVS4000: Need help with out-of-the-box device
The router is performing very badly.
1. Router's "INTERNET" is connected to ADSL cable modem, providing automatically an IP address.
2. The device is getting "freezed"/"stoned" very often. The longest time record for up-time was just over 1 hour. The shortest up-time was somewhere over 2 minutes.
3. When "freezed" the router:
a. Still can perform as a switch
b. No access to WAN
c. No ping to the router
d. Green indication lamps.
e. No access to the web-interface
4. Same behavior with 1.3.0.5, 1.3.1.0 and 1.3.2.0 firmwares
5. Sometimes after "Restore to factory defaults" DIAG-RED led is lit, and does not go off.
6. To get device back helps to power-off it for an hour or two.
Is it possible to get any information from the router, when it is "freezed"

It look like we got out of sync. I see you just sent another reply about opening the box Friday.
With it only being Friday, I would take it back to the store I bought it from and get another. The same or better.

If you want to use this as a learning experiance and figure out this problem yourself, then the following maybe for you:
In all of your communications. I hear you saying your RVS-4000 freezes and will not communicate. No in or out of data. Is that correct?
You are also saying, these freezes occur at various times. Correct?
Which I hope this means is that it is working until it stops working...
If that is correct. Then you need to figure out if the problem is coming in over your WAN connection or it's the hardware of the Router itself.
If you think it's the hardware of the Router. Then do things like measure the temperatures of the Router. (Carefully) Try to heat it or cool it to see if this makes it fail, quicker... Check the Voltage to this Router and make sure it's correct and you are not getting Black outs or brownouts, etc... Also check for lose data connectors. (Watch the lights on the front panel)
However, If you think this is from a TCP/UDP attack on your Router. Then you can place a HUB between your Router and the Cable/DSL Modem and the Router. Next plug in a PC into the same HUB and run Network Software Monitoring on this PC in Continues Record mode. Until a failure. Then go thru the Data and see what you find.
There are a few free Network Software Monitoring Tools you can find and download. Even Microsoft has a nice one for free. Microsoft Network Monitor 3.x
You can also buy another Router. The same or better and if you have the same kind of problems. Then it just might be coming in over your connection. And the new Router can then be returned as its still new.
You can call Cisco and or your local ISP and work with them on this problem.
These are just a few Ideas... I'm sure others will have even more.

Need help with "get info" dialog box
Hi Everyone!
I need some help with trying to figure out what some of the options are in the "Get Info" dialog box. I've searched the iTunes help and these forums, but can't find anything.
So, in the options tab,
1. What does "Part of compilation" Y/N, do for me?
2. Same for "Remember Position"
3. And finally, "Gapless album"

Click part of a compliation means that, it means that it would keep them altogether rather than having lots of songs everywhere
2. If you start playing a song, then stop, part way through, when you next come to the song, itunes will remember where you left off
3. Albums like jean michel jarre, classical, mike oldfield, etc, have many songs which merge into each other. Having gapless album ticked will ensure that, when playing the album, there are no gaps between songs -
I need help with problems after the April 2015 update
In December 2015 I purchased an LG G3. It started out great. Then often people couldn't hear me..sometimes with the speaker on, sometimes with it off, sometimes on bluetooth with my car,.or my voice faded in and out, or sounded muffled or garbled. After over a month of these frequent audio problems and several calls to Verizon during which they boosted my signal and guided me through a factory reset which took all of my photos out of their albums, the final suggestion a few days ago (April 21, 2015) was to download the new software update. I did and I'm not happy with some of the changes e.g. I wish I could have the old home touch buttons back,The jury is still out on sounds quality, but now I have two new annoying problems.
The first is that my car and phone used to bluetooth (connect) as soon as I put my engine on. Now, every time I get in my car I have to go into settings and give the phone permission to have other devices find my phone. Then after one or two tries the bluetooth eventually connects them. I am a Realtor and I need my phone and car to connect automatically every time I get in. I can give the phone permission to connect for up to an hour, but then it goes off. How do I get the opton to stay on?
The second is that I often turn my data off, and I used to do it from the notification panel that I can pull down. I just pulled it down and tapped "data" and the light would go off if the data was off and on if it was on. Now when I tap "data" I can turn it on or off, but the data button stays lit so when the data is off the light is still on. No more quickly glancing to see the data status...I have to tap it and read the notice to find out. Yes, 3G or 4G light up in tiny letters at the top, but data is the only button that stays lit when it is turned off.

I am sorry to hear of the issues with your device before and after the update. We want to restore the love back to your device. Please keep us posted on the audio issues to see if the update did assist with that issues.
In regards to the two new problems, we want to make sure we get this worked out. Do you have issues with the device only auto connecting to your car or all bluetooths? Do you receive and error message when the device doesn't auto connect and you attempt to connect manually but it fails? As for the data icon, when you tab on the data icon from the notification tab does the 4G actually disappear even thought the data icon is still lit?

You might have been doing the outer join correctly.
There's another problem here: joining table_1 to two other tables with which it has a one-to-many relationship.
If you were joining table_1 to just one other table, you could say:
SELECT t1.id
, COUNT (t2.pid) AS count_pid

LEFT OUTER JOIN table_2 t2 ON t1.id = t2.id
GROUP BY t1.id
ORDER BY t1.id;You could have done the exact same thing with table_3 instead of table_2.
But you can't do the same thing with both table_2 and table_3 at the same time: that would be like cross-joining table_2 and table_3. Instead of showing id=1 having count_pid=4 and count_parid=2, you would get cout_pid=8 and count_parid=8 (since 8 = 4 * 2).
You can do a separate GROUP BY on (at least) one of the tables.
This gets the right results. In the main query, there is only one one-to-many relationship.

I need help with safari, all the settings have changed

If my memory serves me right, Macromedia's Flash Player installer is quite idiosyncratic. You need close Safari (if it's open) and:
Download the disk image (.dmg) from Macromedia,
Open the disk image,
Drag the FlashPlayer Installer to your Desktop and
Double-click (run) the FlashPlayer Installer from your Desktop not from the disk image.
Double-check with Macromedia's instructions as well...

Please HelpWhen you installed the latest version of Pages (and other iWork apps), the older versions were saved in a folder named "iWorks '09" in the Applications folder. You're trying to open a document that was saved in Pages 5 or in Pages for iOS using the older version of Pages. What you probably need to do is remove the Dock icon and drag Pages 5 into the Dock.

Hi All,
I am having a hard time finding any info on this activation error, and I really can't get to the bottom of it. When I enter my companie's activation code for the BES 10 network, it gives me the following message:
" Device activation can't be completed because the setup process or a training tutorial is running on your device. Try again later."
It would be nice if the msg could be a little more specific! But anyway, I have tried all the traditional fixes, battery pulls, re&re to BES, etc. but still nothing. My last option is to wipe and see if that works but curious to see if anyone has run into this before.
PS I have a Z10 STL100-3

Need help with info about the possibility of altering images when saved in a different format
I am very new to the design world. I have a printing business and received and image to be printed in Adobe Acrobat (I think). I needed to resize the image to be printed and took it into Photoshop CS6 where I cropped the edges. I then resave it as a PDF and took into a printer software, Fiery. Fiery has an Impose function where you can repeat an image to layout it on the correct paper size. It essentially just copies the original image several times depending on the layout. This particular image I repeated to 3 up and 1 across. When printed it came out with a magenta streak through the center image only. I have had the machine checked and they are adamant it's not a printer issue but a software issue. That once I altered the original image by resizing it that I altered the image and that I can't expect it to come out as seen on the screen. I've printed it all sorts of different ways and it only occurs with the 3 up 1 across image. I know that images can be changed when saved from program to program but this situation does not make sense that it is only the one area and layout that this shows up. I would appreciate any help, input, answers that anyone has. Again, I'm new to this and would like to understand if this is a potential for further printing jobs so that I can do what I need to avoid this situation.

Without knowing how the original graphic was created it is hard to tell you how to handle it. What is the name of the file? (Only the file suffix is important). If the file's origin was in a drawing program and/Or InDesign, then the document should be handled differently if the document is a raster image best handled by a program like Photoshop. -
Need help with working in the background while doing a presentation

I wanted to know if my MBP had a way to let me do a presentation, where on my screen I could tell it to present what I wanted it to present rather than showing every single move that I would make. If for instance, I were to open an app for looking up something to present, I wouldn't want people to see that action, but rather the things that I would put on a special window or virtual place created just for that.
Maybe there's an app that will let me do this? What happens to me know is that when I connect the MBP to the data show presenter, everything I do gets displayed on the big screen on the wall. I want to work in the background without people seeing that. Please help. Thanks.The system software makes it about as easy as possible. Press fn+F7 (the pictographic mnemonic on the F7 kety is two overlapping rectangles). This will toggle the display mode between mirroring (same image on internal and external display) and spanning (each display independently contributing to the total viewable area).
As a bonus when using Keynote (the presentation software from iWork) in a dual-screen configuration, you get one display showing the presentation and the other showing you context (the upcoming slide) and a timer. Check out the demo included with you MacBook.

I need help with firmware for the MS-8348 [48x16x48x CDRW]
Well, if Yall could help me I'd be happy.
Ive a 900 Athlon with a pcChip mobo, and an MSI MS-8348 48x16x48x cd-RW drive. HD is primary Master, CD-rw secondary master.
I run XP, but there is a large problem. when I try to install anything from CD, it crashes the system about 1/3 of the way through the install. Games like Sim City 3000 or NeverWinter Nights and such can't install.
I was told that it was a firmware problem, and I needed to update it.
How can I update, when i copy the two files included in the download to c:, run it, and it says my drive is not recognized? It told me to run in real DOS mode, but how can I get there in XP?

ConnectionError with out-of-the-box fms 3.0.1

we just installed the newest version of fms on debian, but we
can't get h.264 vod to work.
the setup is default, and we used vodtest.swf from samples /
applications to stream the sample videos in applications/vod/media.
sample.flv and AdobeBand_640.flv works great (VP6 codec).
AdobeBand_300K_H264.mp4, AdobeBand_800K_H264.mp4 etc. all
fail with a "connectionError".
I tested this with 9.0.124 standalone & plugin and
9.0.115 standalone & plugin, on both windows xp and mac os x
10.5.2, everywhere the same problem.

No network connection on my Razer Maxx at work
