Rwb adaptor engine twice

in my system RWB--> component monitoring two adaptor engines are there.
how can i remove adaptor engine.

Hi,
Go to your exchange profile (http://hostname:port/exchangeProfile) and search for key hostname.
Change all your hostnames to FQHNs (for example, change myhost to myhost.mycompany.com).
Also, add your FQHN to the hosts file on the PI server. Restart the cluster and it should be OK.

How to register External Adaptor Engine in SAP PI 7.0 to select ADE in IB?

I am Sreeramulu Konjeti, I installed PI 7.0 as standard alone system.But Adapter engine is not working, thats why i installed Adapter Engine separately...even I registered Adapter Engine in SLD...But i am un able to see that Adaptor Engine in Integration Directory.....please tell me what are the required steps to do if i want to see external adapter engine in Integration Builder.

Adaptor engine is yellow in cache connectivity test

in cache connectivity test the adaptor engine status is yellow.
how can i resolve this.

Hi Krushi,
Yellow symbolizes that it is being refreshed or in process to update the cache data....please wait untill it changes to green..try to click on Refresh display button..to see the status of the cache data.
If it changes to red in colour then there is problem in cache connectivity...then u have to do CPA cache refresh...

RWB-Adapter Engine-Monitoring calling url of shorthost name

Hi,
I am familiar with where to set the domain name or short names for XI within the various connection settings
in the Exchange Profile. Does anyone know where the adapter engine monitor settings are stored? We are suddenly getting errors for http://host:52100/mdt/AmtServlet but if I put the FQDN in a new browser window it works fine. But the developers
here are unable to post to the adapter....

Hi James,
FQDN is essential not only for RWB but for other components of WAS as well. Launch XI page wiht sxmb_ifr and check if it displays FQDN. Else follow the complete FQDN activation procedure as below.
1. In RZ10, add the parameter icm/host_name_full in instance profile.
2. Restart your system and follow note 764176 for changing SLD associations. This is important.
3. For adapter engine, apply note 804124.
Follow the complete procedure.

Activation Problem in RWB(Adapter Engine)

I have one strange situation happed in Integration Directory(communication Channel), When i activated the communication channel in Integration Directory.
But in RWB it doesn't show activate status, It is Inactivate status...
Not only this communication channel, Every communication channel is like this.
What can i do now.Kindly give me some suggestions

My channel is active status. Upto last night it successfully working.Today morning i faced this issue...
Not only this adatper if i changed the any other adapter to active to Inactive status . But still Adpter Engine---Communication channel is showing Active status only.
it not changed in adapter level. Earlier also we faced the issue,at that time we restart the our Java stack after that the problem was resolved.
Now also i am facing the same issue.What is problem behind? Why it not working some times?
Can you please suggest me on the same.

Alerts as adaptor engine level

I have configured the alerts and they are working fine like "mapping error" . Now i want to configure the alerts at adapter engine level like login prob , communication prob, JDBC adaptor error etc

Alerts are triggered for adapter level errors also, if you are on SP 14 and above. No spl config required for this.

RWB Integration Engine Monitoring doesn't work

When I am trying to see details of message (Message Content ) rbw shows the following page:
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://xiserver:8000/sap/public/bc/its/mimes/system/99/page/hourglass.html call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Whiv service do I need to start? SP14

Adapter engine URL different between CACHE and RWB adapter engine URL?

Hi there,
If I go to SXI_CACHE and go to the adapter engine runtime cache I get a URL of:
https://<server>/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI
NOTE: The above URL is HTTPS.....and there is no port in the above....
However, if I go to the runtime workbench and click on the adapter engine and click on "test message", I get the following URL:
http://<server>:<port>/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI
NOTE: The above url is HTTP and there is a port.
How can I get these URL's back in sync?
I want them both to be HTTP.
Any ideas?

Hello
1) Check the value of the Exchange Profile parameter 'com.sap.aii.connect.secure_connections'. If you don't wish to use HTTPS this should not have any value set.
2) Delete the Adapter Engine cache in trx sxi_cache -> Goto -> Adapter Engine Cache -> Delete Cache Contents (trash can icon).
The AE cache will be populated the next time a message is sent through the system. Check the value after this is done.

RWB - Integration Engine self test - web service security and proxy

Hi,
I am working with a new installation of PI 7.0. In the runtime workbench, under self test for integration engine, there is this error/warning:
""Details for 'Is Web service security available?'
Communication error: Proxy calls are not permitted on sender or receiver side on the IS (client)""
What exactly is the problem? Is there any additional configuration needed within PI to use proxies? We do not have the cryptographic toolkit installed. Is that nesseccary to work with proxies? We have done several other scenarios with RFC, MAIL, HTTP, etc and they work fine. If anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it, please let me know..

You can ignore this error. It is simply a warning that says message level security has not been configured. Without message security too, you can do proxy communication.
But, if you want to configure messag level security, go through XI Config guide section 12.4.

Not able to log into (IR,ID,SLD,RWB) j2EE Engine.

Dear Experts,
We have SAP PI 7.0 installed in our landscape. Clients 110 and 100 are created. User ABCD is created in 110 with all (SAP_XI, SAP_SLD, SAP_BC_AI* and SAP_NEW, SAP_ALL) privileges.
I am able to log into 110 with user ABCD. But, I am not able to log into IR, ID, SLD and RWB. I think PI 7.0 by default will be installed on client 001 and later we need to do some settings to make it point to client 110.
Can you please provide me some notes/blogs/links to solve this issue? Thanks in Advance.

Through the JSP Engine twice

I have XML file and XSL-file, the XSL files returns almost the same XML as before but with JSP-statements added. So when I write
transformer.transform(new StreamSource(�formO.xml�), new StreamResult(out));
the output is indeed an XML-file with <% ... %> statements in between. How do I parse this file again by the JSP-engine to replace the JSP-statements. Is it possible without using temporary files or something?
