RX2600XT diamond HDMI output question

Hi,
I just got this card today and so far so good. I'm only having one issue,
when I connect the PC (card) to my 47 VIZO 1080P LCD tv, the desktop dose not fill the screen at 1920x1080. My disply shows 1080p and 60 refresh rate. When I set it to 1280X720 the desktop area kinda fill the screen, still not full like what I see from my PS3 or DVR.
Any other resolution dose not look sharp.
What do I need to do to have the desktop disply at 1080p and fill the screen just like my PS3?

Right now, I only have thwe lcd tv hooked to the pc. So when I open the control center, I only see display manager, display options and DTV (HDMI 3).
Under DTV, there are 3 options attributes, avivo color, and HDTV support. Here I can select the different resolutions. Only 1280x720 fills the screen (almost). The 1080i option fills the screen from the sides but there is a big top border. 1080p the screen fits perfect in the middle of the screen but there is big black border all the way around it.
There is no option to stretch the screen unless I add a display hooked via VGA (like my 17 inch Sony monitor).
When I click on that option, the demo screen (where you can stretch the screen) fills the whole area.
Still can't figure it out. I will keep at it.

3D HDMI output question

I'm very new to Apple iMac computers. I purchased the 27" 2013 iMac.
I also recently started using a cheap passive mini-displayport to HDMI adapter from ebay. It is connected to my 55" LG 3Dtv.
I can view 1080p60 just fine, as well as 24, 25, 30 & 50hz options using the current adapter.
I can't get any 3D options to show though.
I've read on the internet that active adapters will allow 3D output and display upto 4K @ 30hz.
What I'm confused about, is that some of the ebay listings say that active adapters are for amd eyefinity video cards only.

You cannot use 3D with an iMac. OS X has not got drivers for 3D displays and the GPU may not handle 3D and 4K resolutions. The resolutions you see are the ones you can use

POST does not show up after the installation of RX2600XT-Diamond

Hi All,
I just purchased my MSI RX2600XT-Diamond 256MB Diamond last week.
It works like a charm; however, an annoying issue surfaced after I installed this video card on my computer.
Ever since I updated the card with Catalyst 7.9, the video card WILL NOT display POST or anything in between the first beep and my desktop.
I use MSI 7300GS/HDMI previously and had uninstalled all the nvidia driver out of my computer to ensure there is no conflict. Nothing. No picture until desktop.
I am using DFI-Infinity RS482M that is fine working on its own DVI output and it will POST etc.
My question is: what went wrong?

I don't know why this spec has anything to do with my problem.
As I stated before, I have NO PROBLEM with nvidia card installed on my system.
I can hear the computer running through POST but I cannot see anything on my display until the blue Windows Welcome screen and my desktop.

Portege M800-105 - HDMI output driver for XP?

Hi,
I've got a question wich belongs to the HDMI output.
I have put Windows XP Home on my Portege with all driver from the Toshiba support page but my HDMI out does not works.
Now I've seen that there is a driver for Windows Vista called Toshiba HDMI Output.
Does anybody knows a driver called like this for Windows XP?
Or has anyone the same problem working with XP but the HDMI output does not works?
I hope someone can help me with this problem.

As far as I know this is a Intel High Definition Audio HDMI driver.
Im not a M800 owner but Ive got a U400 Satellite with HDMI output and installed XP.
To be honest I didnt notice any yellow exclamation marks in my device manager but I installed the Intel High Definition Audio HDMI driver from the Intel page

E520 - HDMI Output not working on Samsung TV - although works on other devices

Laptop does not recognise TV
I know there are a number of threads with similar questions, I have been through a number of them, however have not come across a solution that works.
I have a ThinkPad E520 running Windows 8.1 Enterprise Edition x64
The Laptop has two Graphics adapters
Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Drive - 9.17.10.2867) - I have recently reverted back from the latest Intel driver to the latest Lenovo
AMD Radeon 6600M and 6700M Series (Driver - 13.251.9001.1001) - latest on AMD website
The TV is a Samsung 5 Series 5200 58 inch
We use the TV at work for presentations and demo etc
At my desk extend my desktop to a Philips monitor via HDMI and have no problems at all, I also using with HD TV at home, so HDMI port is ok. Other laptops us the TV fine, so nothing wrong there either.
Things I have tried
The obvious 'Windows key + P' extended, duplicated, restarted and tried again
Did the same as above using screen resolution page - TV is not detected, tried hitting detect - nothing
Disabling AMD adapter
Uninstalling Intel HD and reinstalling latest INTEL drivers with HDMI output plugged in
Uninstalling Intel HD and reinstalling latest LENOVO drivers with HDMI output plugged in (as suggested in other posts)
Tried different HDMI cables, using HDMI input 1 and 2 in the TV
Initially you may think its the TV, however we have a number of Lenovo E530's they all work, the problem only exists with the E520's with the switchable graphics.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi- its working now. The problem is that all your contacts needs to update Skype and have the latest version and then bingo - it works. Its fab now.
Problem solved and set for Christmas call around.

HDMI output not working on HP Pavilion 15

Hi guys, i am new here on HP Forum.
My problems started when i got my new laptop and i HATED windows 8.
So a friend of mine had a disc with Windows 7 on it.
After the installation nothing worked, Not wlan, USB, HDMI and so on,
I serched for days for new drivers and found the most of them on HPs site.
But i have not been abled to find any working driver for my HDMI output.
Can you guys help me with that?

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the graphics driver from AMD if you have not already done so.
Your notebook is not supported by HP for W7, and especially not supported for 32 bit operating systems.

As a last resort, try manually installing the W7 x64 graphics driver from your notebook's support and driver page (sp66999).
I explored the driver folder, and there are 32 bit drivers included in that file.

No audio from HDMI output because High Definition Audio Driver cannot start (Envy 17 Quad)

Ever since I first bought this laptop two months ago, the audio from the HDMI output has always been inconsistent. I remember it working a couple times, but there were more times when my audio driver didn't recognize that an HDMI cable was plugged in. Yes, I tried all the obvious: shutting down computer, checking disabled devices in Playback Devices, reinstalling drivers, etc. Now, when I plug an HDMI cable in, the video comes out fine but the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC does not recognize HDMI/my TV. The High Definition Audio Driver says it cannot start, but I could not reinstall nor find a download from HP's website. How can I get audio through HDMI to my TV??

NO HDMI OUTPUT

Can anyone please help i'm pulling my hair out I just cannot get a hdmi output to my Samsung smart tv
..Ive tried all the setting in NVidia screen ive tried windows +p and selecting duplicate but my tv Is saying no device connected yet the computer is saying its connected to a Samsung tv in the display setting and in the NVidia settings

Can you try to:
1. Update the chipset by running the Intel Chipset Update Utility. After the update, open Device Manager > System Devices > right click & choose properties on the Intel H61 Chipset and ensure that the driver is updated (v9.4.0.1022). if you get an older driver, try to update the driver manually by clicking on Update Driver and point it to the new Intel Chipset Driver folder.
2. According to this pdf dataheet, you have the Nvidia GF 615M. Try to check if you have this driver version and update it if necessary

HT3235 Does a Imac 17" A1173 suports a HDMI output?

saluI have an Apple iMac Desktop with 17" (Early 2006 17-inch) Modelo A1173 Display MA199LL/A (1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo, 512 MB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, SuperDrive). Acording to apple forum (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3235) the cables that supports my imac are : M9321G, M9319G, M9320G. I found an adapter from Dvi port to HDMI and i think it's the same port. Sorry, TDM only works on 2011 and later iMacs on Macs that also have Thunderbolt connections. For example if you have MacBook Air with Thunderbolt it can use your 2011 iMac for TDM. Please read Target Display Mode: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Apple Support , it will answer your questions.

Is HDMI Output have HDCP on all the time?

I have an older HD TV. It does not have an HDMI input only DVI and it cannot decode HDCP signals. I have an HDMI to DVI adapter and when some programming turns on my HDCP on my DirecTV DVR I cannot watch the program through DVI. Does anyone know if all of Apple TV2 HDMI output has HDCP enabled all the time?
If that is the case Apple will have a lot of unhappy people that buy their HDMI to DVI cable to connect their TV, as very few DVI TV support HDCP.

This is from the licening agreement the manufacturers have to follow for HDCP:
They don't allow them to allow HDCP TO BE DISABLED. Must be the key to FREE HD copying

No multi-channel available with HDMI output in Audio MIDI Setup on Macbook Air mid-2011 !!!!!!!

Hi everybody !
I am currently facing some problem with seting up a surround sound system.
I looked everywhere on the web but i couldn't find any proper answer to this problem.
To sum up, i want to have a Dolby Digital or DTS surround sound when i'm playing a movie (with an AC3 audio track obviously).
I have a Macbook Air 13" Core i7 connected to a SAMSUNG Plasma TV via an iWires thunderbolt -> HDMI cable (bought on the same time as the MBA). This TV is connected to an amp via an optical cable and this amp to a 5.1 system.
When i am going to Audio MIDI Setup to configure the HDMI output, i cannot select any multi-channel option, only stereo !!!!
Is someone has any idea how to solve this problem ? I am struggling a lot and spent hours on that without finding any solutions !

Start here, and work your way down as needed:
Check connections
When using an external display be sure to check the following:
If you're using an Apple notebook, confirm the AC power cable or adapter is securely connected to the computer and the cable providing power to the display is also secure. It is always good to have your notebook connected to AC power when an external display is in use.
Confirm display adapters are fully seated in their respective connections and that they are supported models and for the computer and display. Refer to these articles to assist you with adapter compatibility and further configuration information:

Remove all display cable extenders, KVM switches, or other like devices and retest to determine if the issue is resolved.
If more than one video adapter is in use—or "daisy-chained"—troubleshoot by using only one adapter.
Example: A mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter connected to a DVI to HDMI adapter is an unsupported configuration because there is a series of adapters in use.
If available, try using a different display and or adapter (or use a different connector by using DVI instead of VGA, for instance).

NX8600GTS Diamond HDMI problem

My monitor is LG L245WP, which supports HDMI input.
I wanted to use HDMI connection between my desktop and monitor, so I have changed MSI NX8600GTS Diamond. This VGA card recieves SPDIF sound input and HDMI output.
However, after setting up, the screen has been wired. In case of 1920x1200 resolution, about 20% of right side does not appear and black blanks appear on both side. Please look at the attacked photo. The sound and DVI(1920x1200) works well. I have no idea what makes this. I tryed many dirvers like 162.xx and 158.xx forceware, two kinds of OS- Vista and XP, but they got the same result.
One strange thing is that it works well with Vista standard driver. But in this case, the sound doesn't work.
I guess this is a kind of timing problem of Nvidia forceware, but I cannot find out the exact reason and solution.

Lenovo V560-43422GU laptop - which wireless card and is there HDMI output

Regarding Lenovo V560-43422GU laptop:
(1) Is there an HDMI output? Lenovo sales rep says YES, but Bestbuy.com specs say NO.
(2) Which wireless card is included? Lenovo gave me a list of possibilities, but said the card is actually specific to each dealer/store. Please tell me which one of the following cards will be in the laptop if I buy it from Bestbuy.com.

I see you already posted on the Lenovo forums and they do not have an answer for you right away I love how the tech says he will contact you in a FEW days... and it is their product. I had a smiliar situation with them and it took 3 days lol.
Again, I see you did your searching well... not a lot of information seems available.I guess physically seeing the computer can verifiy this.
Looking at image #4 on the Best Buy site shows there is an HDMI port, but it is covered.... and that concerns me especially when the SPECS say it does not have an HDMI port. I really do not see why it would not have an HDMI port available, even the lower lines of Lenovo z565 and b560 have them available.... it is almost becoming a standard now days for HDMI.

HDMI output doenst work

Hi,
I have a z930 ultrabook and im dying to get the hdmi output work.
It works fine when i connect to a TV.
However, doesnt work at all when i connect it to a VGA screen and use the VGA to HDMI converter.
I tried to use it on a normal laptop, works fine.
Is it because my laptop wont take any converter or what?
P/s: I need to use 3 screens at work so that's why i need to use the hdmi socket. The other VGA socket works just fine

This HDMI connection still does not work. It only shows on the TV not on both. I have spoken to Toshiba Software and they have a fix which are some special tools at a one off charge of £84. They say the problem is to do with the HDMI only sending at 30 Hz and the TV being at 60Hz. They also say the fix will provide mirroring as the resolution of the TV and Encore are not compatible. As I only paid £177 for Encore I am reluctant to pay such a high amount. They also advised that you must be connected with the mains adaptor because the battery is not powerful enough to sustain the signal. My laptop works fine and I have a new HDMI cable for Encore.
Any further thoughts?

The HDMI output of my tablet AT200 doesn't work with any TV set.
My AT 200 tablet is under ICS.
I tried both HDMI configurations : full screen and video window. No effect at all.
I have red the post of denis48 and the response of MasterG and tried his propositions with no success
