RZ20 MSSQL performance data show "Value is obsolete"?

Hi  experts,
I have implemented note 1141047 a long time ago, but since 2009/2/16, RZ20 - MSSQL performance data - CPU/IO/expensive SQL always show "Value is obsolete", please help.

Hi,
Check that particular monitor is active? if not, make it active. Also, check the SM21 log for same period.
Hope this helps.

  • Need to create a report to show values for a particular date range

I have to create a report, out of which I need two columns : << Customer Value Variance and Churn Score Variance >> to show values only for a custom date range, which will be entered via a dashboard prompt.
These generic date columns are not present and cannot be added. I have to make use of Pres variables
What I have currently done is:
    1) Created a prompt with 2 different date columns and passing those values into variables vStartDate and vEndDate. (I don't actually need those 2 column which I have selelcted, but I have taken those so that I can prompt the values in calendar format and pass onto the variables)
    2) Created report with necessary columns, with 2 extra columns (hidden) as vStart Date Column and vEnd Date Column which take the values from the presentation variables defined in the prompt. I have created these columns as then I can reference these in the two required columns if necessary.
I am already facing error in report after doing this and I am confused how to proceed. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Yes, but it only has one generic Date column, no start date and end date. I can't use that twice in the prompt. Although I can specify it to be 'between', but I'm not sure I can pass values to both variables like that.
Currently I have used Campaign Start Date and Campaign End Date to enter values in calender format to the variables.

  • SharePoint Performance Point Decomposition tree Showing values in decimal?

    HI,
Actually, In SharePoint Performance Point Decomposition tree Showing values in decimal format.
I would like to change as a "Percentage". How could i do it? Is it possible?
The value 17.21% shows the same "0.17" in Decomposition tree. How could i change in "%".
    Any help.
    Thanks & Regards
    Poomani Sankaran

One  observation which is, if All the filter Dimensions would be in bottom axis  then the Analytic grid Decomposition Tree is working fine. If i would keep any one of dimension in 'Back Ground' then it is not showing any dimension in Decomposition
    Tree.

  • Download of performance data file

    Hi,

    2. On the next screen, enter your selection (for example, All).
    3. Under File user, select the required file.
    4. Choose Copy to local file…
    5. Enter the local path name and choose Copy.
When i try to open the local file, i get the message that the file is corrupted and it shows junk values.
Could anybody plz help me to resolve the above mentioned prb.

    Hi Promad,
I usually do it like this: you run the analysis, but instead of clicking the Other File button, you take the Evaluate button. Now you see some nice graph and you should click the Hit List button (or F5).. this results in an ALV being shown! Here you can simply use the standard ALV functionality to download the overview: You press the Local File button (or F9) and choose the required file format.
    This works fine for me!
    Have a nice day!

  • Date parameter values cleared when dynamically populating string parameter

Software: Crystal Reports XI Release 1 with SP4, with MS SQL Server 2008
I've created a report that asks for three parameters, 2 dates, and a string which is dynamically populated. The report has two tables added in the database expert.
The first table in the database expert is a command object which passes the two date parameters to a stored procedure:
    exec sp_MyStoredProcedure {?startdate},{?enddate}
The second table in the database expert is a stored procedure object used to populate the string parameter {?_users}. The criteria for the string parameter are:
    Prompt with Description only: False
    Allow multiple values: True
    Allow discrete values: True
    Allow range values: False
This stored procedure object requires nothing to be passed, it was originally a view in the database, but the same problem occurs whether i dynamically populate the string parameter options from either a view or a stored procedure.
The string parameter is used for defining the record selection formula:
IF {Command.user_name} in {?_users} THEN true ELSE false.
The two table objects are not linked in the database expert, but linking them does not seem to solve the problem I am having with this report, the problem being this:
No matter which order I set the parameters, it always first displays a form showing only the prompts for the date values. After entering these, it then shows a form prompting for the date values again (the previously selected date information now cleared), along with the list of users from which to select. On this 2nd form, the parameters are displayed in the order I set using the field explorer option presented when I right click on the Paramter Fields heading. After entering the date parameter values a 2nd time, and selecting the users from the dynamically generated list, the report performs as intended. After subsequently running the report  (prompting for new parameter values by pressing F5),  it does not clear the date parameters on the 2nd form's appearance.
What I need is to be able to enter in these values the first time around, without having the date parameters cleared. Am i going about this incorrectly, or is this a bug?

What you are experiencing is not a bug... Passing a multi-valued parameter to a Command or SP is not supported in any version of CR prior to CR 2008.
Your options are #1) Upgrade to CR 2008 or #2) Jump through the necessary hoops to make it work in CR XI
Check out this link...[SQL Command Parameter - Multiple Value|Re: SQL Command Parameter - Multiple Value]
It has some good examples a good step by step.

    Hi,
I consider that you can try to use xperf to collect the trace etl file and see if it can be extracted on this computer:
    Refer to following articles:

  • Report/Widget for combined performance data

    Hello.
I have created a dashboard view in SCOM 2012 R2 for power consumption of a number of servers. These servers are all part of a group. The power consists of a couple of different performance monitors (VMWare-sensor for VMs and Power Meter from the Power
    Consumption MP)
The dashboard view works well, however I am after a total figure for each server in the group. Ideally this figure would be on the dashboard view as well.
E.g. if I have 3 servers with the below power draw
    Server 1 – 150 Watts
    Server 2 – 200 Watts
    Server 3 – 300 Watts
I would like a box stating total power 650 Watts
If this is not available in a dashboard view, a report would be okay
    Thanks

    Hi,
As far as I know, there is no direct way, you may create a sql query and sum the value for each server.
You may refer to the helpful article below:

  • Exception while drilling into data object values

    Hi everyone,
I get the following exception : String was not recognized as a valid DateTime, when drilling into data values. This occurs specifically when drilling into reports that have datetime series or groups on the non-data axis. More specifically, the error doesnt occur when I drill into the report to show all values. It occurs when I drill into the report to show values for a particular time period (say, all sales in the month of Jan) instead of drilling to show details of all sales.

  • How to show value of COUNT_QUERY in a text Item?

please tell me how to show value of COUNT_QUERY in a text Item?

If you look a bit further down the thread Rosario posted, you might find the method DanielLiang posted to be easier to implement for you.
    you can use calculation:
    example :
Database Data Block: block1 ( Query All Records : Yes )
not Database Data Block : block2 (Single Record : Yes)
block2 has a text item (number) ,it calculation property :
    calculation mode : summary
    summary function : count
    summarized block : block1
    summarized item : item1(block1's item)

  • "Date Added" values changed to be identical in some folders

    Hi,
I normally sort my work files (mostly .ppts) by "date added" to help me keep track, this usually works fine. I have the date added column showing in Finder and set the Folder Options to sort by date added.
I noticed today that in some folders (but not all) the date added value has been re-set by the system to be a random date (eg 30 Jan 2015 15:28 for one folder), and the date and time added is the exact same for all the files. Obviously this means I can't sort them anymore. I was wondering why this has happened and if it can be fixed as it's a really annoying and potentially serious issue.
    Running Yosemite 10.10.2 on a mid-2012 MBP.
    Thanks

    Hi Subha,
You can assing default values to the Variables...Fiscal Year2008; Version100...etc. so that the user need not input all the variables.
I am not sure whether you can assign a function--"on selection" of variables.  For better control It would be prudent to advise users to execute a function (if need be embed a SAVE function with in the sequence) on press of a button.

  • Formula in Excel Sheet shows #VALUE!.

    Hi,
    I have 11gr2 Forms/Reports with Windows Server 2008 64-bit.
I have Excel sheet imported from Oracle Reports with destype=enhancedspreadsheet.
Problem is in my Excel sheet, that when I add formula to multiply two columns, it shows #VALUE! error, which is actually occurs
when we multiply a text column with number column.
Although values in columns in number format (like 8600.000,45.000), it assumes these as text column and when
I re-enter same values in columns manually, formula column shows result without any error.
Is there any settings in REPORTS to avoid this error ?
    Thanks with Regards.

    Tom,
This may seem like a stupid comment but have you checked to see if the excel formulas were put into the layout in the layout definitions screen and not in the layout while executing the layout?  Also does the layout have dynamic columns?
For example, if I have 12 Dynamic columns for the periods of the year based on a variable it would only show up in the layout definition screen as 1 data column but would be 12 columns on executing the layout and thus the Excel Formula need to be in the 13th column rather than the 2nd column
    Hope this helps,
    Mary

  • After deactivation asset still shows value in AR03 cumulative value

    Dear All
After deactivation of an asset , it  still shows value in AR03 cumulative acq value column. can somebody guide us
where my client is lacking as we deactivated the asset on 14.05.2008 in AS02 and transfer the asset value thrru ABUMN
but still the same asset is showing the value on 31.03.2009 .
    Thanks in advance
    VG

    Dear Srinu
Does Deactivation  really need manually entry of writing date in AS02 or date generates automatically thru ABUMN.
As i have already transfered value thru ABUMN and created one new asset against it.
The new asset is working properly but my deactivated my asset is quite trouble some. If I tick the box in Depreciation area
which is for deactivation, will all assets under that class will  be deactivated ?
I just had same ABUMN procedure and my asset got deactivated.
I had one asset which is deactivated in 2008 mid, In 2008 AR03 shows 0 value but 2009 it shows its cumulative value.
In tag line my asset should not show the value after it's deactivation in AR03.
Please have some inputs on this.
    Regards,
    VG.

In the above code iv_bo , lv_value_node will be the actual object of the second node or leaf node here, which will have the same structure of parent node along with data. After/before this, you would need to build table and refresh in do-prepare_output of IMPL class. In the above code iv_bo , lv_value_node will be the actual object of the second node or leaf node here, which will have the same structure of parent node along with data. Also the EH_ONEXPAND has to be implemented and event handled in DO_HANDLE_EVENT. But this expand event has to be delegated to context node directly as CL_BSP_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_TREE will already have the implementation.
    ztyped_context->resultlist->expand_node( lv_event->row_key ).
Where in result list is the node ZL_CLASS_CN00.
After typing the whole content , i found this blog :). There are few things i have written more that in the blog.  /people/poonam.assudani/blog/2009/06/24/create-a-tree-view-display-in-crm-web-ui
