RZ20 MTE brbackup status: Last brbackup run

Hello.
I implemented alert on "brbackup status: Last brbackup run".
It happens that when the backup starts, it generates an yellow alert and an email, because I configure an email autoreaction method.
Is there a way to bypass the alert on a specific time interval ?
Or is there a different way to solve my problem?
I prefere that the alert would be generated on backup error , not warning, but it isn't possible to set the threshold for this alert.
Could you help me?

The only solution that I found:
"Shift red to yellow and yellow to green "!
so the alert is triggered only if the brbackup failed.
But this could be a problem, if a brbackup doesn't finish, and it remains in started status, the alert is not generated.
Now I ask : which is the report to check the alert ?
If I found this, I could exclude, if possible , the job during the brbackup of the night.

When I run the AJRW fiscal year change 2009, it was not successful because a system message says" fiscal year change in company code XXX, possible only after year end closing 2007.
So I execute AJAB-Year End closing in 2007, in Tab " Closed Carried Out - it say "NO", when i double click it says: "Document from last posting run in 2007 are not yet updated"
So i check it in SM35 to see when did this error started, i found out it started at around mid 2007, July, status is In background instead of Processed. Out of 15 thousand transaction, 14 of which got an error.
Please help how we are able to post asset accounting for 2009.

check the error log why the transactions are not processed. Recreate the session with transaction code AFBD giving the year and fiscal period and check the error log. It will give the clue why the transactions are not processed.
Those might not have processed due to GL account assignment or cost center master data issues.

Last posting run terminated (Restart in period 2008 12)

One Week ago we upgraded from SAP 4.6 to ECC6 and implemented recommendation in note 890976 (in transaction FBN1 I have set the accounting doc. 03 to internal number range determination). The first period (11) we executed the depreciation run for appeared to run successfully but for the second period (12) we are receiving the message "Last posting run terminated (Restart in period 2008 012)". This message will appear each time we run the depreciation for period 12.
When I run transaction ARMO, I get the error "Document number 2100 300000001 2008 was already assigned
Message no. F5152"
In Transaction FBN1, we can no longer set the number range to external and the current status for company 2100 is 300000000.
Can any one assist with resolving this issue?

Ran some test in our QA system and found the solution. Changed the status number from 30000000 to 30000050 using transaction FBN1. Everything appears to be working now.

ERROR - Status of posting run could not be read - TV

Hi,
I've a problem at PR05 transaction. When I select a down payment line I receve the message below:
     Status of posting run 0000054529 could not be read
     Message no. 56820
     Diagnosis
     The trip is assigned to a posting run (significant for transfer to accounting) for which the current accounting status could
     not be read.
     System Response
     For security reasons, the system does not allow changing or canceling of trips with undefined accounting status.
     Procedure
     Try to repeat the action later or inform your system administrator.
The FI Document was generated. I believe that something happend to SAP after PRRW generated the FI/CO Documents.
The question is how can I Create a Travel Expense Report (TRIP) in order to clear the dow payment with this problem happening?

Answered my own question. After I thought I had tried everything, it occurred to me to Verify Disk. Doing so revealed a minor bitmap error. So, using my trusty install disk, I booted my machine to the disk and repaired it.
After the repair, I started iTunes and was able to download my songs. Unfortunately, my original library file was permanently damaged, so I had to start with a clean one. However, if the worst thing to happen to me in all this is that I have to redefine my playlists, then I'm better off.
I hope this thread helps someone in the future.

To fetch data on the basis of last program run date and time

My query is as folows:
I am selecting BOM components from STPO table on the basis of some criteria.
My requirement is to select only BOM components which are newly added or created after last program run,i.e. STPO-AEDAT and STPO-ANDAT are greater than last program run.Here i fetched last program date from customised structure(client specific) which has date field also,and compared with aedat and andat in STPO records.But how can I connect it with last run time as there is no such time field in STPO table.I need to fetch this data on the basis of last program run(time+date).
Please help me..it's crucial,

Hi,
We had a very similar requirement.
We developed a custom-solution for this.
Create a Z-Table and update it with your progname, date and time.
Whenever the BOM was changed, it generated a change number ( this has to be done by the user)
You can get the date and time from the change Number Table AENR and compare it with the timestamp in Z-TABLE

Hello,
I loaded incorrectly assets (asset class land) with depreciation key but for a land there is no account determination.
I´ve deleted the incorrect assets and when I run the depreciaton I´m receiving the error message Message no. AA730 Last posting run terminated Start the posting run for period xxxx again using the restart parameter.
When I run the Restart there is the error message Message no. AU101 - There is no data record which meets the selection conditions specified.
Is there any correction programm.

Hi, it´s testing client but I can´t to delete the line item within one company code. I´ve found out the table ANLP has still value even I deleted the assets. Is there any transaction or program to delete ANLP entries with determination of Fixed asset No (one asset No not all table). I cant to go and delete directly in a table.

SQL Server 'Last Job Run' Metric / Alerting

Hi,
I am looking at implementing Grid Control monitoring on our SQL Server estate.
One of the items we need to monitor for is SQL Server jobs which have failed. There is a metric in Grid Control that covers this ('Last Job Run') and successfully notifies me if a job fails, however it returns the 'job ID' (random 32 char alphanumeric internal SQL Server identifier) rather than the 'job name'.
I know that Grid collects the job name as in All Metrics-->Database Job you can see the 'job name' metric/data, however I can not find a way of including this data in an alert or monitoring metric.
Does anyone have an idea of how this can be done. I'm sure I must be missing a trick here as it would seem strange that this information is being collected but can't be put into a metric or notification.
Any assistance or pointers greatly appreciated!

So, just to reiterate, running the job manually works, running the scheduled job does not result in errors neither data arriving to the DW, right? And it used to, correct?
If so, the 1st step would be to examine the configuration(s). But not before you inspect the package. Do you have an ability to export it to a file system and open in BIDS?

Asset accnting - Documents from last posting run in 2007 r not yet updated

I have accidentatlly repeat run the depreciation so I deleted the batch file and re-run the correct one however I received message Documents from last posting run in 2007 are not updated. How to correct this?

I have resolved this issue. Actually the porblem was not as complicated as I thought.
Since I have accidentally run the reverse depreciation for 2007, I just let it post to 2007 period 12.
Then I changed the depreciation key back to ZLIN and re-run the depreciation and posted it in 2007 period 12. By doing this I nullified the previous wrong depreciation.
Next step I carried AJAB and closed the year 2007 without error. After that I went to change back the depreciation key to '0000' no depreciation.
With this workaround I managed to resolve the problem.
From this experience I advice user who want to change the depreciation key, before doing that better make sure your previous year has been closed. Else you will have problem closing your previous year after you have changed the depreciation key.

Please help me for this. I am trying to run depreciation for a CoCd 2002 in
production. When I do AFAB
for FY 2010 Period 04. It gives a error message "Last Posting run
terminated, restart in period 2010 003"
Diagnosis*
The last posting run in period 003 2010 was terminated by an error.
Before any more posting runs are performed, you must restart the
posting run for period 003 2010.
Procedure
Start the posting run for period 003 2010 again using the restart
parameter.
After this I run AFAB (03 2010) using the Restart radio tab, it runs ok in
Test and w/o Test (i.e in backgrond),
when I check SM37 - it shows a program RAPOST2000 is finished. Then I am
able to run AFAB for (04 2010)
in test and background also. Again a program is there in SM37.
But when I try to run for period 05 2010 - it again shows the earlier error
" "Last Posting run terminated, restart in period 2010 003""
You see the error message comes again.
Can someone suggest me a solution. Do I need to go sm35 and process the
Batch I/P session . Why this error is
coming up?

Hi George,
please look at table-field TABA-XBUKZ.
If there is a "1" it means "Restart" necessary.
If you have the restart sign you have to solve the error and after the restart the TABA-XBUKZ shoudl change to "X".

Hi,
For an Update termination you need to go into the System Log to check the real cause of the termination.
My guess is that the document number has already been used. It has happened to me and I found no cause for that.
I did the following then:
I checked the highest used document number in that number range and corrected the from number of the number range.
Then I went into the TABA table and corrected the entries there that they corresponded to the number range.
Then I did a manual reconcilliation between AA and GL. In my case they matched, If they don't you would need to post manually to the GL to get them to match.
Then I ran recalculation of asset values. and finally an unplanned depreciation run.
For me it solved the problem.

There is the challenge issue for Depreciation run in AFAB,
While running the depreciation for the month of jan month system never allowing to post.
After the upload of assets through BDC, this is the first time we are trying to run the depreciation
Also, in the test run, some times documents are created and for the same input parameters, if the test run is executed again, the below error appears.
Job started
Step 001 started (program RAPOST2000, variant &0000000000027, user ID TRAINING1)
Last posting run terminated (Restart in period 2010 001)
Spool request (number 0000010067) created without immediate output
Job finished
Can somebody help on this issue...

Hi Rajesh,
Please check the depreciation (production run) log in AFBP by inputing Company Code Fiscal Year and period. This will provide you mored details of the error as to why the depreciation run went into error.
After the errors are rectified, please run AFAB in restrat mode, this will resolve your issue.

I am trying post depreciation for the month of October 2011 for an asset.
I am getting the following error:
Last posting run terminated (Restart in period 2011 010)
Message no. AA730
Diagnosis
The last posting run in period 010 2011 was terminated by an error. Before any more posting runs are performed, you must restart the posting run for period 010 2011.
Procedure
Start the posting run for period 010 2011 again using the restart parameter.
I checked OB52 and the settings look ok.
Any idea what might be the reason for the error?

Error "Last posting run terminated"

Hi Experts,
When I tried to run the depreciation for Nov, I encounter the error "Last posting run terminated. Restart in period 2009 010",
But when I tried to restart the depreciation for October, I encounter the error Account 'Expense account for ordinary depreciat.' could not be found for area 01. When I checked the assets, I can see in AW01N, that it has already posted a depreciation for October. Why then would it ask for an expense account for period 10 when it has already posted a depreciation last October.

Deployment with "Refer to last SNP run" deploy

Hi guys
I'm running the deployment over /SAPAPO/SDP94 in the planning map. Demand is there, stock is there (and production, no STOs or other orders). ATD issue/receipt is standard.
When I run the deployment with procedure "Refer to last SNP run", nothing happens - nothing is deployed.
When I run the deployment with procedure "Real-time", everything stays unchanged (because I did the SNP heuristic seperately before), but now the system is at least deploying accordant to my expectations.
Because I want to run the SNP heuristic and the deployment normally on different days, "Real-time" is no option for the productive system.
What could be a reason for that?

Thank you for the answer.
All the points are fulfilled but the Deployment "Refer to the last SNP run" is not creating any confirmed distribution demands.
I did 2 trials:
1. SNP Heuristik (Network / Multilevel) -> deployment with procedure "Refer to the last SNP run" -> no deployment (no basis for TLB)
2. Directly deployment, but with procedure "Real-time" -> confirmed distribution demands -> deployed quantity for TLB available.
Actually standard should be point one, because SNP and Deployment running on 2 different days.
I suppose because the product can be deployed to different locations (actually just one has demand), but even when I lock the transportation Lanes to the other locations, isn't the deployment proposing anything.
