S_ALR_87012178 to display with document currency

Hi Expert,
I tried to run report S_ALR_87012178 and always got the result with local currency, while I want the result with document currency.
I see another thread that sap note 769338 will help. I tried and it does work.
Is there anyone who has the experience of using this report.
Thanks a lot in advance for your reply.

Hi
regarding report on trx S_ALR_87012178:
when you choose the input parameter
"Summarization level (0-6)"  : '6'
program RFDOPR10 will automatically set the other parameters as follows:
"OI sorted list sorting(1,2)": '1'
"OI list summarization(0-2)" : '1'.
Consequently it is not possible to only display foreign currency items when using summarization level 6.
The reason why the program works as it does is the following:
when you display foreign currency items it is always necessary to also display the currency.
Without the currency information the OI total would just not make much sense. Summarization level 6, however,
forces the output of the data in only one line.
Since only 132 characters can be printed in one line there is not enough space for additional output of the currency.
Thus it is technically just not possible to also display the currency.
The combination of "summarization level" 6 and "OI sorted list sorting" 2 therefore is technically impossible.
If you want to see the document currency please use summarization level 1.
Please also take a look at note 769226 for more details on this issue.
Kind Regards

    2. if u want to display your key figure value in document currency ,,go to that key figure info object ,,,in currency ( reference) field give document currency info object. Then map the respective amount value again in transformation.load the data, now  in report document currency will be displayed along with key figure amount.

    Hello chakrapani bandaru,
Please set all the G/L accounts involved in the transactions to Multicurrency accounts (e.g. BP, revenue tax accounts etc.)
It means BP account, revenue and tax account
as well, even if there is 0% tax.
Please check Administration/System Initialisation/Company Details/ Basic Initialisation/Default Account Currency and make sure it is set toMulti Currency.
The exchange rate difference account should also be set to multi currency.
    hope it helps.

  • Automatic clearing for document posted via FBB1 with foreign currency

    Hi SAP Gurus,
Can anyone help to explain on why does the document posted in FBB1 with document currency USD was auto cleared even without satisfying the rule in OB74. But when the document currency is SGD it can be automatically cleared.
    Scenarion is as below
    OB74 set up:
       Accty type: S
      From acct: 12000
      To account: 12000
      Criterion 1: Business area
      Criterion 2: Assignment
    G/L account : 12000
    Account currency : SGD
    Post JV document via FBB1:
         Dr 12000
         Cr 20000
         Document curreny : USD ; amount: 0
Local currency: SGD ; amount: 200
         Assignment: Test A
         Business area: 'blank'
*When I run F.13 above document was cleared and the clearing doc contains below
           Dr 20000
           Cr 12000
But when I post in FBB1 with same entries as above, only changing the document currency to SGD it will not be cleared via F.13.
Appreciate your explanation on why does above scenario happened.
    Thank you in advance.

    HI,
while posting the entry through FBB1 then system will not consider the exchange rates as per ob08 and etc.,
you can define the local and foreign currency values as per your wish while posting the FBB1.
I hope above will clear you issue. Thank you.

For example, a customer who has 3 outstanding invoices which in USD, GBP and RMB; In ageing/statement report, it shows the balances in LC as well as FC. The customer total shall be in LC and subtotal for individual currency code.
    Please advise.

    Hello,
We are planning significant changes in Aging Reports for the next release (after 2007 A version). Just now we are also considering an option of multicurrency statements including the feature displaying more (document) currencies per one view.
Is there anything else you would like to enhance on Aging Reports?
    Thanks.

  • USD to Document currency conversion

I have a report that fetches all line item imbalances between a company and its trading partner in USD. I need to sum all imbalances and depending upon the selection criteria like imbalances over 10k/20k/30k, the respective line items need to be displayed in Document Currency. I am at the last step of getting all line items in USD and summing all imbalances between a company and its trading partner and now, the problem is how to get those line items in Document currency for whom the overall sum is over 10k/20k/30k USD?
How can I convert the USD to Doc currency at the final step?
    Appreciate your answers,
    Thanks!

    Use this function module CONVERT_TO_LOCAL_CURRENCY

  • How to differ tax currency and document currency in contract

    Hi Guru's,
I would like to know how to differ tax currency with document currency in SAP contract.
    Thanks and Regards
    Vikram.M

    Hello Vikram,
The document currency will be that of local currency.   the tax currency should be of the customers country currency.
Perhaps you have to define different condition tables by passing on the fields to header or Item Level and depending on the customer Master currency detrmine Tax in different currecny. KNVV-WAERS.
This needs a bit of ABAP effort, and minor enhancement to take consideration of exhange rates.

  • Clearing documents with no document currency

Have a balance on a acct that is to be written off.   Balance only appears on acct as when document currencies is *.  When creating GL entry to clear acct we end up with a balance on the acct in whatever currency was used in the clearing document.
The reason this is a problem is that the balance created by the clearing document is appearing on monthly financials under the currency that is used in the clearing document.

  • Display Financial Statement (S_ALR_87012284) in document currency amount

I would like to display financial statement in document currency amount. (T-CD:S_ALR_87012284)
Does anyone know how to do this?
I don't want to use the special evaluation tab of that T-CD, as it is requested to specify
rate and Key date for translation.  I just want to display the amount in document currency.

    Hi Ramanuja,

  • Problem with amount displayed in local currency.

    Hi Experts,
We have an invoice in XDR/PLN currency (exchange rate: 3,50).
Then we are making a posting with clearing and in result we have a clearing document in EUR/PLN currency (exchange rate: 3,70).
In one line item we are making a posting with an asterisk u2018*u2019 to clear selected open items.
In this line item the amount in EUR currency shows for example 0,10 EUR and amount displayed in local currency (PLN) shows 100 PLN which is value not consistent with exchange rate.
Line item which is causing such difference displayed in EUR shows u201Cnew amountu201D, but this line item displayed in local currency (PLN) shows u201Cold valueu201D from a XDR/PLN document.
This issue causes 0,10 EUR -> 100 PLN u201Cdisplayingu201D problem in an asterisk u2018*u2019 line item.
Why this line item shows the u201Cold valueu201D in local currency from XDR document ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Konrad Dobrowolski.

    Can anyone help ?
I can provide more details if needed.
    Best regards,

  • IDoc Basic Type needed for FI & CO posting with local & document currency

    Hi All,
I am using basic type  u201CFIDCCP02u201D which has local and document currency separately and posts to FI and CO segments but without any validations. This results in erroneous entries like posting to a cost center that cost center is not linked to company code.
Is there a basic type that I can use which posts to FI and CO with all validations similar to t-code FB01 and have fields to post local and document currency separately?
    Thanks,

  • Currency conversion issue in SPM. We are getting incorrect results with SPM conversion function from one of the document currency to USD.

Currently we are using SPM 2.0 version and we have been facing currency conversion issues.
Please help me in following aspects.
    1) Where actually currency conversion happens in SPM. Is it the global program which does the conversion or other way.
    2) We have conversion issue for one of the currency where conversion function is giving incorrect results when converting from one of the document currency to USD. here The respective document currency is considering the 1:1 ratio with Dollar which is actually incorrect.
    3) We have verified in both BI side(currency tables) and even ECC side.
Please help me in understanding this issue and let me know if you need more information on this.
Its an production issue and appreciated your immediate inputs.
    Thanks
    Kiran

    Hi Arun,
The following information may be helpful to you.The SSA_HELPER_PROGRAM has options regarding currency settings.
EXCH_RATE_TYPE: This flag governs the exchange rate type which will be used for currency conversion in data management. For example if RSXAADMIN contains an entry EXCH_RATE_TYPE = „ZSPM‟ then the conversion type used for currency conversion is ZSPM. The default value for the exchange rate type is „M‟. More details can be found in the note 1278988.
CURRENCYCONVERSION: By default data management converts all the measures in transaction currency to reporting currency and copies over to the corresponding measure in reporting currency. If the measure in reporting currency is already available in source it might be desirable to disable the currency conversion. To disable the conversion you can make an entry CURRENCYCONVERSION = „ „ in the table RSXAADMIN. This can also be achieved by running the program SSA_HELPER_PROGRAM with the option DEACTIVATE_CURRENCYCONVERSION. The conversion can be reactivated by running the same program with option ACTIVATE_CURRENCYCONVERSION.
UNITCONVERSION: Similar to above. To deactivate unit conversion you can use the program with option and DEACTIVATE_UNITCONVERSION and to reactivate ACTIVATE_UNITCONVERSION. By default both the conversions are switched on
EXTERNAL_CURRENCIES: Normally most of the international currencies are stored with two decimal places however certain currencies do have 0 and 1 decimal place too. For example JPY has 0 decimal places. SAP internal format stores even these currencies with 2 decimal places and at the time of display it changes the value to right decimal places. In case a file from external source is loaded to SPM it might have the format with 0 decimal places in the file. To convert it to SAP standard format post processing needs to be done on this value. If that is the case you can set the flat EXTERNAL_CURRENCIES = „X‟ in the table which will enable the post processing for these values. This flag can also be set and reset using the helper program using the option TURNON_EXT_CURRENCY_FORMAT and TURNOFF_EXT_CURRENCY_FORMAT.
